The most juicy, bursting, lush jungle fruits. The florals are supporters, watery florals to give balance and keep it from being cloying, adding freshness but it remains sweet and lively. Quite a rounded out scent, not juvenile. Excellent performance and lasting power for an edt. Really haven’t come across anything like it since. I imagine a lush, green jungle full of hanging fruits begging to be picked after the rain. So good. The bottle is this scent. A Garden of Eden indeed.🍍🍉🍊🍐🥭💦🌴😎💅🏼
Jubilee scents in the UK do a dupe of this. Fresh, green, floral, aquatic. Everything I remember 😍
Wow! I really like this! Almost love it! I’m just getting to know it, but it’s gorgeous! It’s airy and easy. I don’t find it powdery at all! Even though it has iris which usually is a no for me! To me, it does not smell remotely like Pleasures which is my least favorite fragrance out there! (I’ve been turned off by a suffocatingly overspraying coworker) This is beautiful and I don’t think would ever be like that. I love collecting discontinued fragrances! I have never had the original Eden, I have to try that as well! Cacharel has really been impressing me! I know this one is pricey, but most of them that I’ve tried are affordable gems!
Me encantaba.
This is no longer available in the UK, which is a shame as I absolutely love it. Airy, aquatic, fresh floral - a perfect example of the 90s trend for floral aquatic scents. It really worked with my skin chemistry, and performed really well. I dislike Eden, which Cacharel released at the same time, as it seemed very green and harsh to me. I have, however, discovered that. Elizabeth Taylor's Forever Elizabeth, on me, smells exactly the same as Eau D'Eden. So pleased to find a replacement, after all this time and currently have a nostalgia-fest, whilst sitting in a cloud of gorgeous florals
Every time I smell this beautiful scent, brings only good vibes, A walk at the port in Montecarlo wearing a Chiffon turquoise dress big sunglasses and a Pamela with "Vereda Tropical" playing on the background. I remember the TV ad with the girl in the middle of the ocean under a thunderstorm with flowers all over her. In my opinion one of the best flankers of the 90's a shower of Fresh aquatic flowers a distant relative to the original, the body gel with glitter "skin cool" was amazing!!
Smells very similar to Estée Lauder Pleasures to me.
I bought Eden (not Eau d`Eden) twice many years ago, it was lovely, very fresh, very reviving, like a sorbet. I would try this Eau d`Eden also, but they don`t offer it. I wonder why the best perfumes disappear and only provocative, loud perfumes are offered. I love discret scents, like Chanel or YSL or Ferré. Also Eden was fantastic. ⛵🍸💦🎈👜👟💄🍈🍉🍍
I can't say exactly what this smells like to me, it's more like a clean scent with something aquatic in it, I do smell a tiny bit of rose as well. I used to like Eau d'Eden a lot but now I'm not so sure. It is cold right now so perhaps it performs better in warm weather. I will wait for proper spring/summer.
This was like nothing else at the time I first encountered it (everything popular was powerfully strong and sickly sweet in the early 2000s), so it’s burned into my memory as being notably refreshing. I wish there was something now with the same sparkling aquatic feeling. It was so summery, a light, cool breeze in a bottle.
This one I've taken a while to truly appreciate. It's strange, I get some really aquatic vibes from this. In any case, it's a true hyacinth scent and I'm now head over heels. I only have a mini of it, but I treasure it. One of the defining scents of its time, I imagine. True 90s.
I wish I could find its replacement, but I haven't had any luck so far. I've tried the "reminds me of" section and nothing smells like this. I miss it every day and will continue my search forever.
I had this fragrance when I was 16 years old (1998) and I had my 1 date night with my 1 boyfriend. I totally oversprayed it because I was so nervous 😅 but I totally loved it! ❤️ The scent is a bit metallic, but also sweet and flowery.
So different from the original. Beautiful soft, sweet and ripe fruity. Flower fresh and vivid. The scent has a very youthfull expression to it. Fluffy as a cloud. Perfect for spring and summer time. Moderate longevity and silage.
Yes, me too! Loved this and want this back. This is the fragrance of my young adulthood. Very fruity and sweet, floral and fresh, but not and inch of cheapness in it. The best water fragrance there is (was). Found an excellent substitute for this though: Floris Fleur. Check that one out if You miss Eau too!
Cacharel Eau d'Eden was the fragrance that my office mate, a beloved friend used to wear. She was keeping it in her drawer, when she sprayed, the room was turning into a heaven of flowers. Fresh, light, the most dewy flowers I had ever smelled. It was very matched with my friend, a green eyed girl with a huge smile on her face. So I didn't think to wear it for myself, but would definetly buy one for her birthday if it would be produced again. I have not encountered a perfume similar with this.
Judging by the prices on Amazon and Ebay, this must be one hell of a fragrance... I see it has been compared to Ocean Dreams, so maybe I can find that more easily and affordably.
My best friend from my teen years used this perfume. I remembered the sweetness of it, so as soon as I got a chance to buy a cheap mini, I plunged. It smells just as I remembered: a subtle trail of juicy peaches, purple flowers and a faint musky-woody base to support the lightness of it. I don't know if I'm enjoying it so much due to the nostalgia factor, but it's a good hot weather scent that evokes youth and lightheartedness, like my long gone carefree summers rollerblading by the seaside. 7/10
Please bring this back. This is the only perfume make me fell heavenly. I've owned a 100ml bottle for over 10 years but the quality haven't changed much. It floral, fresh and last for over 24 hours, you still can smell it the next morning. I have tried lots of perfume but nothing can please me like this one. I have about 40ml left and very hesitate to wear it every single time *sad*
There is apetition to bring this perfume back, if you search online ‘bring back eau d’eden, I cannot link it but maybe if we sign it there is a chance. Please note that I am not the creator of the petition.
This is amazing and it became my most favourite perfume. Very floral and fresh. Every time I use it everybody keep asking me which perfume I'm wearing. I never find any perfume that similar to this. It is really unique! Please bring it back!
I genuinely don't believe this to be anything massively spectacular. It really is just a very pretty, watery jasmine and non-descript floral scent. That being said, this was released before many that smell similar to it and I can imagine it being revolutionary when released. Smells nice. But it's essentially a nothing scent to me. Maybe I expected more from an Eden flanker?
I also had this wonderful perfume when I was younger, I loved it, and want it back!
It's so similar to the perfume "life for her" by avon.Try it.
nothing special, a typical fruity floral ick; I expected hyacinth but I got fruit, the saving grace? In the total dry down, it dried out. The fruits receded. The sandalwood and musk came forward for a drier finish.
If only this fragrance would return...A fruity floral perfume that never failed to uplift the mood. I have found a great equivalent: Fleur Floris
This is the first perfume I've ever truly fallen in love with. It broke my heart that they've discontinued it. It's an amazing perfume. I still have half of bottle and I keep it in a dry, cool and dark storage just to get a sniff a few times per year. I would love to be able to wear it more often, but I'm trying to make it last as long as possible. Later edit: The perfume I wear in stead of this one, when I want a lovely aquatic floral that reminds me strongly of Eau d'Eden, is Acqua di Gioia.
I have been lucky to get a hold of this so many years after being discontinued. I was a poor uni student when I meet Eau d'Eden and her sister. I wanted to get both but I bought Eden with the intention of getting Eau d'Eden later. The shop that had the last few bottles of this perfume was demolished and replaced with a supermarket. Life went on without it. Now here I am, reliving the past with an aquatic floral, feeling very 90's. There isn't really anything like it now, but I can think of a few kenzo perfumes that capture a similar watery clean scent. Kenzo L'eau Par and Parfum D'ete.
I expected this to be fresh but there is something bothering in it. Does not match me... If anyone is interested - I have a 100 ml bottle - about 60% full. Would be nice if this goes to someone who likes it.
