why do most perfumes from this series of Dior have this horrible grainy texture. interesting scent but textures are so unpleasant.

First smell and I was underwhelmed but then slightly interested. Second wear and I Love this. So elegant. Earthy and comforting yet pure understated luxury. A scent you could wear for any occasion from bedtime just for you, to work to an event. I don't get the rose coming through which I like as it provides a feminine elegance without the typical floral sweetness.

Gris Dior is quite possibly the perfect fragrance for all seasons and all reasons. It is a lifetime fragrance for me. I will wear this until the day I die. Bury me in this fragrance, please. It is so perfectly blended, and the oakmoss note tames the rose without taking away its beauty. It's good for all occasions and perfectly unisex. It's amazing throughout the entire evolution. I love the drydown. It's a powerhouse if oversprayed and makes a bold statement. Spray less, and it stays in your own scent bubble. This is in my top five fragrances of all time.

I mean, I wish I were one of the people who managed to smell petrichor or some greyness here. First test it smells kind of a rather soft rose based fruitchouli. I feel like this would be better on my mother. I will update this review if my sentiment changes, I'd like to eat my words on this as I feel like this has potential

this manages to take 3 notes i hate and make it a pleasant feminine frag

Анонім

This is so good. Oak moss, rose, bergamot are the most prominent notes with hints of patchouli. You must love moss though. I was obsessing over this for a week, I had to get a full bottle.

on my ksin i easily smell this the next 16 hours, it might be a skin scent but after 8 hours is stoips projecting. its a sweet elegant mossy light rose

Elegant, restrained, mysterious, timeless. The masterpiece of Dior La Privee.

You need a good piece of clothing, but you'd rather just throw this on. It gives you security and confidence while letting you be a woman who is authentic and elegant.

To my nose it’s rose, fresh, spicy woody. Very versatile but elegant. Leans slightly fem. It’s a like, not a love but quite nice to have in your collection

I need to sit on this a little but first impression is wow. A dark rose that's not jammy. You have to like oakmoss, though, so be warned. I like oakmoss, and my only complaint so far is that it's very present in the opening but fades in the drydown. I wish it were more prominent. I don't get old person from this. Rose can go that direction but I think it's pretty ageless. It will depend on how you pull it off. I might try layering this with hacivat.

when i first sprayed it it felt super heavy like traditional oud oil. but as it dries down it gets much softer. the rose and patchouli combo feels pretty unique. still it gives me like a 40+ vibe, i honestly cant imagine a younger person wearing this. more of a special occasion scent than something for everyday use

this smells like pink lemonade lucozade 😆, its funny cause i was drinking that months ago and wondered if there was a fragrance like it, well here you go, pink fizziness. havent been able to get away from the typical rose fragrances so this is a pleasant surprise

Absolutely obsessed with this one. So unexpected from reading the note pyramid that I would love this but I really do! It feels cold, don't know what notes are doing that. Maybe the oakmoss? Feels and smells like a misty, frosty, fresh garden in the early hours of the morning when everything is still wet with dew. Very goth girl, very weird girl. It's perfect. Can't wait to own a full bottle once I'm done with my tester!

I wear this when I'm dressed up; it is pretentious, expensive, and very sexy. Lots of compliments from both women and men.

gray, captured like rain on concrete

Fantastic fragrance, such a deep and simultaneously light experience. This is what signature scents are made of.

A frozen crystal rose that blooms in a darkest mossy forest. Just a single flower suspended permanently between the woods. Over the time the rose fades away, and you get a pure oak moss with patchouli. A stunning breathing fragrance, suitable for all day round, for any occasion. Not a safe blind buy tho:)

This particular fragrance stands out as one of my preferred unisex options. While it is suitable for year-round wear, its longevity and projection could be improved.

Revisiting this and it is sooo good. I’ve tested it intensely in the past and although I love it and find it very wearable and signature level, I don’t think it really suits me. One of the best from Dior, pure perfection and elegance. Demachy, you are missed.

Dior Gris is giving rich quiet luxury energy 😮💨✨ Smells like someone who journals in Paris cafés, wears all-black fits, and definitely has their life together. Clean, classy, expensive-looking aura in a bottle.

Not my kind a smell. Rose note is not my thing.

Анонім

beautiful classic for both men and women... zero sweetness in this perfume, makes it a good choice for all year round day and night. Strong patchuli note as it settles. UPDATE: after +6 hours as it fades on my skin this became such a comforting, soothing smell. I kept going back in to smell my wrists.

Imagine walking through a fully bloomed rose garden on a cool misty morning. Dark ethereal bliss.

A truly "unisex" fragrance, I think anyone can pull this off! The patchouli and rose are blended masterfully and almost intentionally melancholically, more of a dark rose with a slight "makeup" smell. I would reccomend you wear this scent in the rain or when the skies are grey to really get the most of it (hence the name "Gris"). My only issue initially with this fragrance was the lack of performance. I put on 7 sprays and it was gone after an hour (even my friend couldn't smell it on me anymore). Over time however, the performance did get slightly better but not by much. I still get maybe 3-4 hours max on this fragrance before it becomes a skin scent. I would say any batch post 2024 are underperformers. Even still, it is a well-blended fragrance and a must have in any collection. Final rating: 8.5/10

Gris Dior is stunning. The rose, patchouli and moss notes are blended together seamlessly. If you are sensitive to dirty, earthy patchouli and oakmoss, or have difficulty with prominent rose notes- not to worry- this perfume smells clean, tranquil and expensive. Quiet luxury, indeed. This smells like a woman who wears silk pantsuits and heels to work, who commands respect and attention using her femininity rather than fear. I don't do anything in my daily life which would necessitate a full bottle and even in my early 30s I don't feel established enough to pull this off...but the scent of Gris Dior wafting of my skin is so lovely, it's still going on my wishlist.

A dry rose with a very clean mossy base. Like the kind of rose you'd find hung to dry on the stone wall of a cottage. Only slight hints of sweetness keeps it fairly fresh and decidedly unisex. Surprisingly versatile, grounded with classy, yet subtle, woody notes. Smells like the colour grey in a bottle.

Gris Dior is a masterpiece I simply can't live without. I constantly find myself opening my wardrobe just to smell the cap. It’s a complete obsession. From the very first spray, its clarity is stunning. But what truly fascinates me is how it breathes on the skin. It quietly fades into a whisper just to make room for the next note, handing over the stage with incredible grace and tenderness. Then, once the new phase settles, it surges back with immense power, as vivid as if you’ve just applied it. It feels alive, constantly drawing your nose back to your wrist. A true compliment magnet that pulls people in effortlessly. With its effortless 12-hour longevity and magnetic trail, this is quiet luxury at its absolute peak: captivating, refined, and completely irresistible.

My favourite rose-patchouli scent. Sophisticated and timeless. Smells like old money.

A very tough wear for me. So soapy and floral. Extremely linear too and I detect too much ambroxan. Amberwoods Galore. Yeah not a fan. This house continues to disappoint for me
