It is a dark, elegant, and addictive floral gourmand that transforms the original’s white floral signature into something deeper and more mysterious. Tuberose and orange blossom create a rich, creamy floral heart, while vanilla, black pepper, patchouli, and sesame add warmth, spice, and a slightly smoky sweetness. The fragrance feels sophisticated and sensual, balancing femininity with a darker edge. It has a beautiful contrast between luminous white flowers and a warm, addictive base, making it especially appealing for evenings, cooler weather, and moments when you want something more dramatic. Its only weakness is that the intensity and sweetness may feel heavy in warmer conditions or for those who prefer lighter, fresher scents. However, its depth, elegance, and strong character make it a memorable modern floral gourmand.

I absolutely love this. Its like a darker version of Rough Ultimate. Its beautiful

For the past 30 years, when I’m asked what my favorite perfume is, I answer, ‘Givenchy Discontinued.’

Анонім

I sprayed this on my skin and clothes… but I think I am nose blind to this scent.

My favorite from the L’Interdit lineage. I’m glad that I have a back up bottle.

The worst composition I smelled in a long time It's messy dirty spicy vomity you name it Had 2 samples I gave it a 10 chances it's a big NO for me

I’ve completed my collection of all the flankers, and this is my second favorite. I love layering it with Burberry Goddess; it makes the opening less sharp. You can really sense the sesame note. It also doesn’t have the “old” scent that the original L’Interdit has. The drydown is very feminine, which is not the case with the original L’Interdit. Overall, I like this scent, but I won’t be purchasing a second bottle. And I know this 80 ml bottle is going to last me a very long time.

Oh this is nice! I smelled this a few years ago and remember smelling like a leather note I can’t find now. Maybe my nose was not trained enough. Now I instantly get L’Interdit but less cheerful, more quiet and grown up, with the roasted and creamy sesame note. Surprisingly, I am pretty quickly noseblind to this one, I must try other applications methods, I really want to enjoy it longer. I am usually not a fan of L’Interdit DNA on me but this one won my heart. It’s a shame that’s it’s be discontinued…

It's the darker sexier wh0rier version of libre intense, it's that vanilla that gets me hooked. First minutes, the nutty sesame is present, quite spice, toasted, but then the vanilla comes in, smoky, sultry, it's like when libre starts of floral then dries down to beautiful vanilla. this is one of them but more complex and unique.

Imagine there is field of white flowers, weather is slightly cold and ur walking down that field. Personally I really love it and wear it occasionally though iam guy. Its very nice floral fragrance with good sillage and longevity. Solid fragrance! If anyone wants buy it, you can find it in Europe marketplace KAUFLAND.

I don't understand how they decided to stop producing this masterpiece. One of my favorite perfumes of all time 😭💔

Анонім

I can’t believe they discontinued this perfume. Is the best one of the line. Is gothic and sexy with that delicious sesame god I would love this with some cardamom It would smell soo good.

Tuberose either makes or breaks a fragrance for me, and I love its usage in L'Interdit Intense! I'm smelling some DNA similarities to both Nishane's Hundred Silent Ways and Dolce & Gabbana's The Only One (the original, not Intense). L'Interdit Intense is smoother than both though. There's nothing sharply animalic or overly sweet to be found here. My only complaint is that the vanilla pulls somewhat Play-Doh-like on my skin, but it's sporadic and not for the entire duration of wear. Overall, this is a gorgeous white floral, and I'm happy to have a decant in my collection. :)

I just can not get enough of this fragrance🤤 it's so rich and feminin and perfectly blended. I wish that they would bring it back. The new intense absolu is much more masculine smelling to my nose.

Update: After wearing Rouge Ultime for a couple of days, I went back to this and I could really smell the difference!! The sesame is very noticeable now after the RU. While it's a bit weird, it's...oddly hypnotic. The vanilla is now barely perceptible. Interesting how perception can change!! Original review: I don't understand. This one was beloved by almost all L'Interdit fans. But on me, it all but disappears. After a few minutes, it fades, and I can smell the barest hint of vanilla. Nothing. Bum bottle? Bad body chemistry reaction? Between this and OG, I gotta go OG. I can't even smell enough to make a legit review. 😫

I dislike heavy tuberose but I find myself loving on this fragrance. Maybe it’s because of the brightness. The vanilla and vetiver is noticeably present. I got a full bottle. I also blind bought rouge flanker but I don’t like it as much and willing to sell if I see a buyer. It’s been 2 years having both and they’re both 100% full. It’s time to bring out the intense and rock it like a boss chick. Lol

Discontinued - glad I had a back up bottle.

Анонім

As a tuberose lover, I was ashamed not to have L’interdit or any flankers so I blind bought this and Rouge. I am blown away. Absolutely stunning and I agree with the review that the notes are not individually overpowering, but smoothly blended. However, it’s strong! Spray with caution. Rivals any in my mostly niche collection. Sad that it is discontinued. I got my tester from a discounter and looks like it’s still available on many discount sites (in the US).

Bring her back! 🖤💔

I'm sure people are reviewing this instead of the new version black bottle Absolu. The new one is masculine and strong. This one is sadly discontinued and was the best flanker they ever made. A rich vanilla mixed with the original edp DNA. They need to bring it back

This starts out super feminine but ends up smelling more masculine hour on hour…

Анонім

i really liked it when i first bought it and my boyfriend loves it too, but the sesame note gets to me, whenever i wear this i kind of feel dirty at the end of the day. my friend says that it is more masculine version of rouge. rouge is better. kinda sad that it is discontinued. i'll try combining it with the rouge.

I discovered this perfume and instantly fell in love. Its floral and vanilla without being overly sweet. The patchouli is not overpowering and the turberose isn't cloying. The pepper is just a nice kick in the opening that dries into this beautiful and complex smell. A very well balanced fragrance, and one I keep coming back to time and time again. I would consider this my signature scent and I'm absolutely heartbroken that it has been discontinued. I always wear this when I want to feel more myself.

I want to be perfectly clear: Speaking only for myself, no, i am not confusing the absolu for the intense. I own the intense (sent to me by mistake, and the seller let me keep it) and it dries down VERY masculine. Vetiver and patchouli are the culprits. Both can be traditionally masculine notes (especially veitiver) and in this perfume they are blended in a very masculine way. Dont get me wrong, Intense starts off glorious… powerful, sweet, womanly, and beautiful … but the dry-down a a big turn off for me. Makes me feel like a sweaty, horny, dude with too much cologne on. No joke.

Анонім

Guys do not confuse this with l'interdit absolu which also comes in a black bottle that is the masculine smelling one. This one is called l'interdit intense and is discontinued sadly. I personally think they should've kept this one as it's much better and released the absolu one as a men's fragrance.

So initially I get a strong Grape not at first spray. The bottle is stunning, as always- but I am not as impressed as I was with rouge. I will let this sit and macerate a bit, then will update. I will also see how I feel after it has been on for a few hours. Update: This does not work on me. On my skin this grape note is way too strong

I like the opening smell, but my ultimate tip to people who consider buying this: Be careful with letting this stuff get on your clothes!! I noticed that it starts to smell very masculine ( in an overpowering, unpleasant way ) as soon as the opening and middle phases of the scent are over, and it might be difficult to get the smell entirely off, even after washing D: I tried this on, sprayed it on my neck once ( it also touched my jacket a little bit ), and my jacket's hood smelled HORRENDOUS the next day! I washed it, and it helped, but I could still smell it through after. Hopefully with more time / second wash it'll go away entirely. But on the skin, it smells quite nice! ^ ^ Sweet & spicy, kind of mysterious vibe. I would just make sure to take a shower after like, 6-8 hours of wearing it, unless you actually end up liking the closing smell. I for sure didn't :D <3

Quick review: Beautiful at first but quickly dries down to a very masculine scent. Longer review: I ordered the Rouge but the seller sent this on accident. He felt bad and is letting me keep it, while also sending me Rouge. I was so excited to get a free perfume. I have owned the original for several years, though i don't wear it much. It smells too much like carpet cleaner to me. Sometimes, though, its perfect to wear… when the weather and the mood is just right. (Interestingly, my boyfriend said EXACTLY the same thing about it reminding him of carpet cleaner without me ever suggesting it. So strangely specific!) Anyway, Intense does NOT smell like carpet cleaner, thankfully. Here, theyve amped up the patchouli, and creamy tuberose. In fact, all notes are amped up and richer… deeper. Intense is the right description, in this case. Almost TOO intense. I like it. I dont love it. The vetiver is interesting in this, however, the far dry-down becomes extremely masculine. Too masculine. Stinky, even. This entire fragrance line isnt my favorite, while its not bad, either. I do appreciate how powerful and long lasting these perfumes are. But so far, they are not for me. Starting to doubt i will love Rouge, but we shall see. Update: Rouge is rather pretty, and interesting. I might like it best.

After a re-ignited interest in tuberose perfumes AND blowing through a 100ml bottle of Amouage "Love Tuberose" (and purchasing a second bottle, which sadly seems reformulated and weaker than the first), I sought to locate an affordable tuberose perfume I can liberally wear in lieu of Love Tuberose. I purchased sizable decants of five Givenchy L'Interdit fragrances. I am an over-sprayer, so large decants it is. I purchased: L'Interdit Eau de Parfum, L'Interdit Ead de Parfum Intense, L'Interdit Eau de Parfum Rouge, L'Interdit Eau de Parfum Rouge Ultime, L'Interdit Absolu. L'Interdit Eau de Parfum Intense was my second favorite perfume from the five samples I purchased. I actually like the Absolu version best. But Intense is a very close second. So, I can honestly say that to my nose, L'Interdit EdP Intense is the only perfume from the L'Interdit line that actually offers a BUBBLE-GUM like, sweet tuberose opening. Also, the addition of pepper in the opening lends a welcome blast of spiciness. I can actually feel and taste the pepper in the back of my throat. Furthermore, the emergence of a sesame note adds some interest, warmth & depth to the fragrance giving it more of a "niche" style. L'Interdit Eau de Parfum Intense is an easy, nondescript, inoffensive, white floral fragrance with more depth and warmth than the OG. And again to my nose, the tuberose is most discernible in this iteration of L'Interdit fragrances. And when all is said-and-done, I DO wish this fragrance performed better. For my tastes, performance and silage are extremely weak.

I smelled this in a store a nice spicy, woody, sexy perfume with a beautiful dry down i saved up for it and finally got it last week. It is terrible..it is not the scent that i tried in the store its just straight forward alot of tuberose in my face and no woody spicy notes in the dry down. Im disappointed ;-; does anyone have anything to share..should i let it macerate or return it or did i just got a bad batch ;-;-;
