This is how I imagine Barbie would smell like.
There's nothing wrong with his scent. It's just okay. Floral fresh sweet that's 80% gone in two minutes. I've smelled cheap body sprays with more nuance than this. Truly nothing special, and I definitely wouldn't bet on it being designer whatsoever from the smell. I am glad I just have a 5-10 ml travel size, definitely not buying the full size.
I went into Sephora a year ago and tried Gorgeous Gardenia, or so I thought. When I came home my husband was obsessed. He couldn't stop talking about how good I smelled. I just bought the full size and its mid to me now. I think it's not as pretty or addicting. I hope we can reconnect. It is a gorgeous scent. Good gift for mom I think. But can also lean a little younger. I think it is similar to Viva La Juicy, but Gorgeous Gardenia is a bit more floral. Where VLJ is a brighter fruity scent.
Wow! Never smelled this until now, but this is LITERALLY Juicy Couture’s Viva La Juicy. I have both and they are identical. I mean, as a millennial I guess it’s cool they’re bringing back classic 2000 era perfumes, but I’m just shocked they literally copied it. I call it Viva La Gucci.
Floral rosado y blanco, puro, es tan limpio! Huele a persona pulcra, decente, inocente. Posee su lado seductor a la vez. Es algo unisex segun mi percepción. Creo que me proyecta más una idea de alegría, felicidad y paz, que de notas jajaja no me concentro. Lo amo!
It’s pretty but I find this too “mature” for me, I much prefer the Gucci Flora Gorgeous Orchid over this one.
Smells like cold crisp and vibrant gardenia, with an earthy note. Its nearly identical to viva la juicy to my nose, but the drydown is more masculine, like men's cologne, and viva la juicy has a caramel note that this doesnt have.
this was my first big girl perfume. probably the most commercially beloved gardenia scent, and for me, a gateway drug into what is my favorite note of all time. simple and sweet, not green at all.
I really love this scent the more it dries down! It's a pretty simple white floral scent, and it's probably too expensive for what it does, but I'm happy to own it all the same.
Lovely magical flowers in a bottle! Literally smells so nice and clean, this is the perfect floral perfume without smelling too "grandma" or department store. I absolutely need to upgrade to a bigger bottle! it's so feminine, light, and invigorating, but really stands out and gives you such a warm aura when you walk in a room. Such a lovely fragrance for anyone searching for a nice floral perfume!
Love this one!!!
This almost hits mediocre, but there is something bougie lifting it up. It certainly isn't the gardenia because I can't smell it for the life of me. It's a happy little scent, like the nectar of a can of fruit cocktail. I like this after a shower as an added pick me up. My husband gave it 3 out of 5 stars for sensual allure.
This is my current favorite everyday EDT. I wear this around my house because I enjoy the smell that much. It feels comforting, and when I wear it I feel feminine and more complete. It isn't overpowering or overwhelming. For me, it has staying power which seems to make me one of the lucky ones. It's not any one particular note that jumps out to me, it's the mix altogether. I also love the style of bottle for this line, though I would prefer it were glass. That being said, I find it a bit expensive for what it is. I bought it on sale in a set with the Intense version (which is also lovely). I will continue to buy it when I can get a discount on it, or ask for it as a gift.
Juicy and very sweet, doesn't give me a headache which is a huge plus for me!
smells cheap and boring. Not offensive. Just meh. Edit: agree with the other review that this is performing femininity. No personality - just an idea of what an older woman should smell like.
To my nose, this is a mass-appealing generic fruity floral fragrance. I'm generally sensitive to patchouli and am not a fan in most cases but I don't actually detect it here. Unlike Vanilla 28, for example, where the patchouli is dominant and makes the fragrance unwearable for me.
This is extremely citrusy to my nose with just a sprinkle of sweetness
Juicy pear jelly belly candies with a tiny hint of patchouli on the dry down. That's it. I don't smell any other notes. Have owned this for two years and it's exactly the same since day one.
Right away it smells very sweet and fruity. I get pear and maybe a little coconut initially. As it settles, I'm getting more floral notes. Not specifically gardenia or jasmine, frangipani maybe but I feel like there's something else in there that I can't put my finger on. I definitely get a sense of the brown sugar, but it's not too overpowering like I often find it to be. It just adds some warmth and sweetness. Overall I really am enjoying it and would buy a full bottle, which is fairly reasonably priced. Edit: It faded within about 2 hours, so I now probably wouldn't buy a full bottle.
If I had to choose my signature fragrance, this one would be it without a doubt, though there are some close contenders. It is exquisite. It's soft, but it lasts. It's beautiful, elegant, and timeless. I know all fragrances—whether budget or luxury—use synthetics, but nothing smells cheap or plastic about this fragrance. It is beautiful straight out of the gate and long after the drydown. 10/10. I love it.
Garnier fructis shampoo
On the card this dries down to a sweet, pink floral which I love. On me it’s more of a soapy floral smell, which isn’t bad, but not quite what I want to smell like. I have a mini bottle and don’t think I’ll repurchase once it’s gone.it didn’t last too long on me and was pretty light.
Delicious deep berry, fresh citrus opening with a warm floral dry down. The brown sugar sweetens and patchouli grounds the base. Lovely every-day fragrance, I would definitely compliment this on someone else
My nose must be broken cus this does NOT smell like viva la juicy to me , it's EXTREMELY floral and dusty.
I don't know how I have left getting this one for so long. I have the Jasmine. Which is really strong. If you like vanilla definitely go for the Orchid. This is beautiful 🌸 🩷 floral fresh and I get the sweet brown sugar. Not so much the patchouli. I'll wear her over the next few days to get her feel. Buts she's very feminine and think she can be for older or younger women. Glad I purchased.
a prominent reminder of my adolescence. almost performatively feminine to me. I wore this when I had something to prove. I still love it; and intend to repurchase simply for the fond and hectic memories.
Competent, gentle floral, lightly sweet and with a drop of freshness. It is refreshing in a way skin smells after long bath - hydrated with a hint of basic bubble bath scent. Certainly very wearable, everyday, even morning scent. Does not have any special effects but is a lovely companion for a calm, steady, feminine person. It is a quiet loveliness. Gucci female always smells good.
This fragrance holds a special place in my heart. I've had the og EDT in the glass bottle and this version for quite some time. Definitely my signature scent for a while. It starts out with a refreshing citrusy floral pink pepperiness, and fades into a less tart, vibrant but elegant gardenia. The patchouli is also done so nicely in this fragrance. I think the bottle color captures its vibe quite nicely, it's not too juvenile or too sweet, and very refined. I'll combine/layer it with a more vanilla-y fragrance if I want to dress it up at night. However, what has retired this as the main scent I wear is that the longevity has gotten terrible--it barely lasts on skin anymore, which is disappointing for a luxury brand. Side note--I was really disappointed in the bottle when I first got it because it seemed so cheap with the paper label glued on.
This perfume was gifted to me by my partner as he knew that I love fruity and floral perfumes. It smells really good on my skin and is my go-to fragrance when running errands. On me this perfume lasts quite a long time and I typically reach for it more in colder months as during summer I want something lighter.
I don't love it, but it's ok. It's a fresh, clean scent but it fades quickly.
