The best Jasmine scent on the market to my opinion. It is elegant and classy. One of my favorite. I’m at my third bottle. Wearable on all occasions.
I love all the Gucci gorgeous perfumes this one might be at the bottom of the list though. I still like it! But it smells like pink bubblegum. It’s not bad but all I think of is children’s bubblegum when I spray it
Huge jasmine fan here, so I expected to like this. First four mins is great.... and then it's gone. Shame.
Probably my favorite of the Gucci Flora "soliflores". I've consistently by underwhelmed by them, but I like this one. It's a pleasant jasmine and rose combination, and actually smells heavy on the jasmine, more in the style of a vintage perfume instead of a neutered jasmine. It can be a little repetitive if worn daily, as it really is predominantly just straight jasmine, but I might make a note to buy this for my mom. I do like the drydown a lot, it becomes kind of more effervescent, like a fizzy sweet jasmine.
Have they changed the formula recently? Smells nothing like the batch a few years ago. Or do they sell a different formulation in the US? The one I recently bought there has no mandarin nor black pepper as the top notes, goes straight to jasmine. And not a fresh, clean jasmine, but a sweet, cloying jasmine, the one I absolutely dislike. I use it as a room freshener now :( All the previous bottles I owned were bought in the EU. I guess it is time to move forward then...
This is my favorite out of the Gucci Flora collection. The rose in this very jasmine forward scent is perfectly done.
I have this scent for a long time and my impression changed a bit compared to the first time I smelt it. At first it was more of a soapy herbal kind of scent with tart nuances. Over the time I feel this scent become much beautiful, or maybe in the summer it blooms better because now I can get a bit of sweetness and slight bubblegummy vibes. This is type of effortlessly chic, clean girl scent. It is safe for any environment, you won't suffocate people with this one. What I love the most about it is that this scent is not aggressive, it is calming and comforting. It definitely grew on me.
I bought this today after reading reviews that this was a clean floral. I thought it wouldn't be as sweet as the other flora's but no, it's still very sweet even if there isn't any vanilla in it. I don't think I'll be able to wear it unfortunately.
Soft, clean and pretty scent. Good for days where you want to smell clean and put together, but not obviously like you're wearing perfume, good for work or health appointments as someone mentioned. I bought the big bottle because I got a really good deal ($100 off the Sephora price) in an airport duty-free shop, and I'm sad to say this as a white floral girlie who loves anything asmine, it's just not very interesting. I do remember smelling it in a store and loving it, so maybe the formulation changed or my my tastes did, or maybe I just need to let it sit and macerate a bit longer, but there's nothing "wow" about it that justifies the price. I got a $20 Jasmine citrus from an unknown (to me) brand at Winners and it's a near perfect dupe, or tbh you could just mix jasmine essential oil into a citrusy body lotion, and the effect will be the same as the other notes are barely noticeable. Longevity wasn't bad, but there wasn't really a progression of notes that some fragrances have, which I would expect from an established house like Gucci. Im glad I got a deal on the big bottle as it's a good "daily driver" as mentioned, but I wouldn't purchase this one again. The magnolia one is much better, from the sample I have.
Nice smell but strong and gives me a headache
When you smell the cap it smells like actual soap, and very strongly might I add. When you spray it at first it smells like citrus and lemon, then it turns into jasmine. After 30min the scent sits close skin and after an hour it dissapears.I will admit it does have a really beautiful specific smell but it's not worth 75€.
This smells like heaven to me. A bunch of white flowers next to a load of freshly washed bed linen. The best laundry detergent you ever smelled and a whole bush of jasmine in full bloom on a summer day. The apotheosis of clean *_* I love it in all seasons but spring is when it shines the most
listen, i AM newer to the perfume world, but it was just slightly overhyped as far as how luxurious it is. for some reason i did not get any citrus from this, just straight, fresh, bright, strong as hell jasmine for like 3 hours. in a non-offensive way. eventually it did dry down to a kind of sweet powdery scent that did lean towards old lady at times, also non-offensive. it is nice! i just would only wear it to a garden party or something.
I love jasmine but this is much too old lady-ish. It’s harsh as opposed to being fresh or “clean” like soap/laundry. Almost gave me a headache, I can’t imagine wearing this around people.
SUCH a soapy scent, squeaky clean and refreshing. it just makes me so happy
this is just as gorgeous as the name suggests! beautiful, clean, somewhat vintage vibe, but not at all "old". women seem to love this one, i get at least 3 compliments from girls on this every time i wear it out. men never comment on it, however! not sure if that means anything lol. but i feel like you could really wear this anywhere. at least i have. words dont really describe the vibe well to me, because its so versatile. its just so lovely. im a huge jasmine freak though so im definitely biased.
The first time I wore this, my impression was a photorealistic jasmine tea. Now, I'm almost getting a salty ocean breeze carrying the scent of white florals (mostly jasmine). I don't know if this is me being susceptible to the marketing for this fragrance, but there's something warm (in a solar way) and beachy about this!
This is such a beautiful soft jasmine centric fragrance but the other notes round this out and give it a little more character. It’s perfect for spring and summer and really improves in the heat. You’ll get pleasant wafts in the air as your skin warms up. It’s very feminine in my opinion. On my skin it settles in and makes it a very soft, yet detectable scent. I personally would wear this in the daytime as I prefer a bit louder fragrance for evenings. This would be gorgeous for casual wear or work and wouldn’t be overpowering unless you overspray. It does smell a bit like a load of clean laundry but I absolutely love that smell and would be thrilled if I smelled it all day! I’m surprised many pick up the citrus notes strongly, my nose doesn’t pick them up that well. I get a really pleasant white floral , hardly any sandalwood or patchouli, which I like both, but find them subtle in this. Longevity is decent, maybe four hours, so you’ll probably need to freshen it up during a work day. All in all, it’s a pretty fragrance. I don’t find it to be a standout in my white floral arsenal, but it is an easy reach!
Smells good but does not last very long
this was nothing but patchouli to my nose :( maybe some rose and a hint of something citrus, but I feel like I didn’t really get any jasmine and certainly no sandalwood. this would definitely suit cool and cold weather and rainy days
I expected so much more as I love all other Flora fragrances, but this one does have that sharp air freshener resemblance. Jasmine is too sharp and artificial, but the presentation is lovely.
The comment under me is the best description of this fragrance.
Very feminine but not girly or sexy. Not a fragrance that will make heads turn but definitely a beautiful scent
A little too explosive for me at the start, but I do enjoy the dry-down. The scent starts off as really heady with spicy jasmine and pepper, but after a few hours it smells a bit more like a muted jasmine. I wouldn’t repurchase, but I’ll finish my travel size.
I really, really wanted to like Jasmine. I thought I did at first. But, there's not enough Jasmine for my taste, and much too much earthy, darkness. I really tried. My favorite is Orchid, then Magnolia. I love layering the two. They both have the creamy sweetness I crave from white florals, and what I wanted from Jasmine. But, to my nose, Jasmine is more earthy and woodsy than sweet. I really don't understand the citrus at the top of the pyramid, I don't get any citrus at all. To my nose there's a realistic, very soft jasmine in the background, and in the front, sandlewood and patchouli as the main characters. Not my cup of tea.
My least favorite of the flankers, it's nothing special for me, pretty sharp jasmine and that's it. Doesn't stay for long on the skin, maybe like up to an hour max. Sold mine.
i wore this perfume intermittently for about a year at college, and emptied the bottle. a nice layered scent, but the pepper and bergamot notes drown out the jasmine and make it smell more like a detergent than a white floral. i prefer a lighter and mellower scent, and this one was too sharp to be my favorite.
Love the fact that this is the only Gucci Flora that isn't refillable
the gucci flora set tends to be hit or miss. orchid is so beautiful and complex but jasmine is honestly giving nothing. i'm unsure of how to describe it other than a your scent but better; very clean and laundry-like. it just reminds me of laundry detergent tbh. at this price point and from this brand i would expect more. don't think it's worth it.
i don’t know if my nose is broken, but this doesn’t smell like jasmine at all to me, it smells like the qq grape gummies from chinese supermarkets. i tested this with my friends and they shared similar sentiments. overall its not bad, but if you’re looking for a strong jasmine note, i’d skip
