Flora Gorgeous Orchid

The ozonic note is not my favorite-these always turn a little weird on me. However, this is still really pretty and feminine. Reminds me of a comforting hug from a loved one. I think it would be perfect without that ozonc accord on my skin, those always turn a little musty and almost salty. Gives it a vibe like the perfume was hanging out in a thrift store for a while. Honestly, that is kind of a cool vibe lol, but not necessarily what I’m looking for here. Still, it is a really pleasant scent and done really well. Very soft and a bit nostalgic. There is another scent where the ozone accord does this on me, I think it is called Clean Skin, or something like that. That one does it much worse though and just turns extremely salty and sour, very musky. This Gucci scent seems to have that same note, but it is done in a much subtler and less aggressive way. I wish my skin chemistry mixed better with this note, regardless, but so far this fragrance seems to be the most agreeable with me out of the ones I have tried thus far!

It smells like you are sitting on a wooden bench in the middle of a luscious garden with meticulously-trimmed foliage. There is a small pond in the center with some excited geese swimming around. You are enjoying an ice cream cone with a delicious, creamy, banana-vanilla swirl as a light gust of wind blows gently across your face and ruffles your hair. Scent on Me: It stays quite constistent throughout wear. It is the perfect blend of fresh and sweet, perfect for spring and summer. The blends of floral, green, and vanilla notes are smooth and not too overwhelming to the nose. It sparks nostalgic memories of childhood summers, and my vacation to France. It carries an elegant sophistication that balances the sweetness so that it does not lean juvenile.

Late to the game but here I am This makes my lip tingle and ears itch Anyway... I see it as universal for summer or winter, beautiful, vanilla flower. Its like paco rabanne and jean paul gaultier had a baby - this baby is gucci flora georgeous orchid. But by some reason it doesnt stay on me long … 1 hour is all i get.

This is literally a more floral vanilla vice. Don’t waste your time and PLEASE SAVE YOUR MONEY. This is a vanilla for floral fans who are terrified of vanilla, so Gucci decided to just add a weird banana milk vape pod sweetness to one of their previously rejected linear white floral scents and called it a day. You know, because capitalism.

I am not normally a fan ofost Gucci scents I've tried. I find they typically lack depth (which isn't always a deal breaker for me though) or even sometimes I seem to detect an alcohol scent almost. That is not so with this one! I enjoyed it, even got a compliment wearing it out. It's sweet, vanilla, not too much depth but it's very airy, not suffocatingly sweet. Definitely the best Gucci scent I've tried!

Absolutely foul, disgusting suncreeny monstrosity. I seriously don't understand the desire to willingly smell like sunscreen. It's horrible.

a saleswoman at macy’s doused my arm in this and i loved it (and it didn’t give me a headache) so i went back to get it. the opening is very sunscreeny, but it dries down to a nice ozonic floral. intimate sillage when you’re not wearing half a bottle lol

As someone who’s not a fan of vanilla fragrances at all, this is the best vanilla fragrance I’ve ever smelled and the only one I own. It’s just so soft and pretty! Maybe it’s the orchids, which is a note I really love. It truly smells like bright yellow sunshine :)

This is the best fragrance I have ever bought. If I were to restart my collection, it would just be multiples of this bottle. I would literally bathe in this. It is a nice blend of a floral and vanilla. The vanilla with the ozonic accord gives it a nice, whipped, wispy-sweet vibe, and the orchid adds a clean, crisp finish that brings a touch of elegance to the fragrance. It's like the essence of vanilla, not the smell of vanilla; like the vanilla is there, but you need to catch me, so you keep smelling it and get addicted to it.

I had to come on here to rant. The smelling notes are all wrong. If this doesn't have pineapple, passion fruit, sav b in the smelling notes then it is just not correct. I don't want to live in a world where this fragrance is known as a vanilla scent. Mad ITs Good

i'm not a perfume connoisseur and i only sampled this because miley cyrus was promoting it but i was honestly taken aback by how good it smells. i'm a little shocked that people don't adore this perfume because it's one of the best smells i've ever smelled in my life lol. i bought a second hand bottle because it's very expensive but it's one of my favourite perfumes ever. my only critique besides the price is that the scent doesn't last all day.

I blind bought this as part of a bundle and wasn’t expecting much as I haven’t been a huge fan of the other Gucci Flora flankers I have smelled. I saw it had vanilla so was excited but weary. however, this fragrance is BEAUTIFUL. it’s fresh and sweet and inoffensive. while it is a bit linear, it is beautiful and breezy and perfect for school or work! I will definitely reach for it on casual low-fuss days. :)

This smells like the children's bubblegum-flavored amoxicillin... but in the best way.

Nice, suitable for every occasion, reminds me a lot of Burberry Goddess. But that's it, nice, nothing new or amazing or anything.

At first I didn't know if liked it - I'm not a big fan of vanilla. But I kept sniffing the sample strip I got for over a week and really liked the underlying ozonic notes. Found a great deal online and thought i might give it a try. Somehow I came to really like it. It's not a cheap vanilla at all. It's a salty kind of gourmand. I know the branding and yellow color evokes summer, but to me, it reminds me of winter, staying cozy at home and baking cookies while having a cozy meal. Think salty chocolate cookies in the oven and a drift of your mom's fancy floral perfume lingering in the air. The projection and longevity is insane. I sprayed a single spray on my computer chair 2 days ago and if I stay there for a long time I don't smell it, but as soon as I leave and come back I am filled with the lingering smell. It lasts forever and is so strong. I wouldn't want to be stuck in a room with someone who thinks this perfume doesn't last long or that it has to be reapplied often - chances are they have anosmia! I don't have much sense of smell yet I rarely encountered a perfume with such great lasting capability. Overall I'd say this is a a great perfume, but it's a little bit strong for my taste. I will definitely use it on furnitures and linen during winter time to get that cozy vibe tho!

It's pleasant, but I don't like it enough to purchase a full bottle. It's a little too soapy/clean for me. Also, it has poor longevity and projection in my hot & humid climate (Houston.) I give it a 3 out of 5 rating.

Gucci Flora Gorgeous Orchid was not really for me. I get a very light vanilla, and the orchid is noticeable, but it isn’t very strong on my skin. The fragrance feels very ozonic and airy, which makes it smell a little too fresh for my taste. I also pick up a banana note. I don’t mind banana in perfumes when it’s blended well, but here it just doesn’t work for me. The combination of the fresh, airy notes with the soft vanilla feels a bit strange, and on my skin it comes across quite chemical and a little boring. One thing I do like is that it’s very unique. I have never smelled another fragrance quite like this, so it definitely stands out. Unfortunately, the longevity is disappointing, especially for the price. It fades very quickly on me, which makes it hard to justify the cost. Overall, this is my least favorite fragrance from the Gucci Flora collection. If you enjoy light, airy, fresh scents, you might like it, but for me it just wasn’t the right match.

Was gifted this for my birthday and I love it for summer. Fresh and ozonic vanilla. Though I have tried and bought many vanilla forward fragrances I think this doesn't smell like any of the others in my wardrobe so it's definitely got a place.

I feel this is a very average perfume that lacks complexity. There are so many better options for the same price point.

Such a soft and pretty floral vanilla! The initial opening comes off a bit overly sweet and screechy to my nose, although it settles quickly. Performance isn't the greatest at this price point, but I'll enjoy my sample. If you're on a budget, you're better off waiting for a sale or purchasing a travel size vs. purchasing Atheeri instead IMO. Atheeri is far more potent but not nearly as good.

What sunshine flavored ice cream would smell like! It’s such a cheerful, delightfully sweet, powdery, and ozonic vanilla, with delicate vanilla orchid, and swirled with some green banana. The banana is definitely green, and adds just a hint of tartness. That’s why I think I like it so much, especially since I’m not usually super into banana notes in fragrances. The ozonic notes help make this an airy vanilla that reads as slightly fresh It’s very cheerful, uplifting, charming, and whimsical! Overall, it’s a really gorgeous vanilla, and one of my top favorites! This is one of the most beautifully uplifting scents that I own (and I have a collection of a few hundred, so that’s saying something!)! It’s just such a cheerful and happy scent! It really does actually make me smile anytime I smell it! I absolutely adore it, and I can never get enough of it! It’s such an easy reach, and would really make a wonderful signature scent! It’s also one of my most complimented fragrances! I swear everyone really does seem to like this one! My post office lady even instantly loved it so much that she had me go back home right after I left to make her a decant! This feels quite feminine, and can easily suit women of all ages. I think it works best during the spring, summer, and early fall, but can definitely work year round also. I think it’s fitting for any occasion from casual even to fancy, and works for work/school too. I get excellent performance with Flora Gorgeous Orchid. The longevity is excellent, it lasts throughout the whole day without needing reapplication. The projection is strong, it radiates out several feet from me. I also only need a couple sprays for this effect, so I do think it’s a good value. This fragrance smells really good but I would consider this fragrance as a skin scent because it’s very close to smelling clean/fresh. It does have vanilla notes which is so soft. But it’s not really giving Gucci it gives phlur vibes because it’s so close to the skin.

I really liked this perfume. It's airy and light but you can still smell it. It reminds me of a clean vanilla. Ps: I can detect the banana note, but it's not at all bothersome.

This is the perfect spring/summer vanilla. Smells light and airy, subtly sweet. Very clean and pretty! Perfect for hot weather vanilla girlies.

Forgettable scent tbh. I just had to respray it to remember what it smells like. Also I'm disappointed by the sileage and longevity. I mean for the price i paid for it, at least give me something that last 6h... Perfume smells sweet and young, for me it has an yellow melon opening and it dries down into vanilla, and that's about it. I can't feel the orchid at all. They must have forgotten to put it in the bottle i bought 🫠

Super strong orchid scent with a soft vanilla floral dry down. :) imo simple, yet beautiful.

This is the perfume I wear when I want to connect to my Scandi teenage culture and be a bronzed up Stockholm-style girl with a long off white coat and a fresh blowout.
