Never-ending Summer

A bitter orange peel with aperol i mean photorealistic. It’s good but needs to be worn on peak summer days. Reminds me of turkey. 5.1/6

The photorealistic aspect of Replica Maison Margiela perfumes baffles me every time. As soon as I smelled this, I thought, hmm, wait… this almost smells like an Aperol Spritz. I always like to guess what I’m smelling before checking the notes on Fragrantica or on the little tester paper. It’s something I genuinely enjoy doing to train my nose. So I was so ncredibly surprised when I saw Aperol listed in the notes!!! This is such a nice, easy, summery perfume. I can absolutely see myself buying a bottle once I finish some of the summer perfumes I already own. Although it would be hard to choose between this and Under the Lemon Trees because both are so good. Anyway, I’ve always been, always will be a Replica perfume fan. I adore the little trips they take me on!

smells like orange tic tacs

Compared to Capri, NES is rounder and sweeter. You can almost feel the stickiness of the peel and juice. Capri is more bitter and aggressive (which I like but not everyone does) and has a lower longevity on my skin.

Lovely citrus scent. However it didn't last long and I had to reapply, even in the heatwave. Was still enjoyable as something new for summer, though!

Litterally Aperol! I only had this drink once in my life, I had no idea what Never Ending Summer was about, sprayed it on my skin and bam! I could see myself have this drink on a terrasse in a late summer evening. Excellent realism. However. This lasted about 5 minutes. Then it became more bitter orange (also super nicely done though if you're into that). Then I had a _tiny bit_ of tea/cardamom thing for like maybe 30 minutes (while orange was still 50% of the scent). And then it pretty much all disappeared to my nose, less than 2 hours after putting it on.

This is one of the best, if not the best, release over the last year: fresh, uplifting, cooling, relaxing, easygoing. Can be worn anywhere anytime. Compares to citrus-based fragrances like Capri by 19-69 or Taormina Orange by Tom Ford, but the critical difference is the vetiver, the tea, and the amazing Apérol spritz, which are all remarkable and distinctive. Just wow. PS: It is a freshie and EDT, so don't expect more than it can deliver...

As far as smell goes, I think it is amazing, definitely one of my favorites. I just wish it projected a bit more and lasted longer.

I was not impressed at first but I fell in love over time. Genius for very hot summer days. Smells like delicious orange with some airy quality to it. Would not say its super original or lasting, but it's an uplifting, elegant fragrance.

Bought this one suddenly at a Sephora a few days back. Tried it out yesterday and so far, it's as it says on the tin. Very fresh orange citrusy scent, easy to like and much easier to wear and does well in hot weather, I enjoy it! Longevity to be determined as I'm not sure if my nose is either acting against me or if REPLICA's blundered it again. But aside from that, it's a decent buy

I adore this scent on paper, but on me? It's so strange! The orange dissipates almost immediately and the herbal tones smell almost like body odor! Then it calms down and fades to just kind of a neutral, clean smell. It's no joke that it fades fast -- my partner had to search for scent after only an hour. I'm going to try some things with it to see if I can get any practical wear from it at all, but I've never had this experience with a scent before. Truly odd.

This release belongs somewhere in the 2014–2018 fragrance landscape, not in the present timeline. Why you ask? Because while it smells pleasant, safe and inoffensive, the concept has already been thoroughly explored and often executed better. There are plenty of more photorealistic citrus fragrances available, many of them at a considerably lower price. And that's not even factoring that many people get reminded of cleaning products/window glass sprays when they smell polished citrus scents (thankfully I'm not of them, I do enjoy citrus-based perfumery) Even so, this still feels a bit played out, overly familiar and difficult to justify purchasing, as I'm sure most of us already have something similar,if not better.

Once I got past the initial blast of Pledge furniture wax, it dried down to a charming lemon pepper that was brisk and zesty and idyllic for summer days roaming the cobblestone streets in Rome (or your favorite fabulous outdoor place). It is a sophisticated mood lifter and will make everyone around you feel like they are on holiday.

MM is absolutely amazing at capturing and delivering scent profiles. However, longevity is something that is always left to be desired. If you like citrus scents, this is a great pickup. Otherwise I’d rather wear Chasing Sunsets by the same house for the summer.

A beautiful, photorealistic orange aperol spritz scent that’s perfect for the summer time. Makes me feel like im on a balcony in Italy in the early morning having an orange summer cocktail before going to the beach. I’ve gotten compliments from coworkers that normally don’t even talk to me lol. Would be my favorite summer scent of all time if the projection and longevity wasn’t so bad. I usually spray 6-8 times in the morning and another 5 times at lunch just to get it to last the whole day.

The opening is a mix of bitter orange and Aperol, but it quickly becomes greener and spicier with black pepper, grey tea, and cardamom. I think it would be more fun and refreshing if it were less spicy.

I love this perfume but it doesn't even last 30 full minutes on me. It smells like the juice from an orange and the top notes are lovely but I haven't ever had a fragrance that fades so fast. Absolutely not worth the price for the poor longevity.

Gorgeous fragrance but longevity is very weak off my skin. This needs to reapplied every 2-3 hours as it wears off quickly. I will try layering it with Molton Brown Sunlit Clementine and Vetiver EDP.

Very nice perfume. Opens with some orange and fizz, and settles into smooth and sweet spice and tea. The base notes are complex and well done for a summery vibe. Projection and longevity fine but slightly on the weaker side. I mean of course you can look at the notes breakdown and other reviews but the smell is very difficult to explain unless if you actually smell it. But I can tell you that it is a safe buy if you like orange and smooth base and heart notes that blend well and create a calming scent. It's one you can't stop smelling.

This opens with a blast of boozy orange. It’s not a sparkling Aperol Spritz, to my nose, it’s a big bowl of freshly cut orange and mandarin segments that are soaking in Aperol. No fizz, just juicy freshness. It’s bitter, zesty, fresh and ORANGE - delicious. After 10 mins the fresh spicy facets pull through with the vetiver and pepper with little black tea nuances. As it moves into the dry down it becomes a lot more smoother, softer and a little bit sweeter. The orange, spices, woods, vanilla and patch are well blended here though my nose picks out the cardamom. It’s relaxed into a gorgeous calming fresh and spicy Orange & Aperol iced tea that dressed with an aromatic garnish. It’s good stuff, and I’ve very much enjoyed this, but it leans too masculine for my summer preference of (mostly) femine fruity florals, so I’ll leave the sample out for the other half to try. An aside to MM Replica’s nod to the Amalfi Coast, this does nothing to evoke a memory of one of my fav places to holiday. To me, the Amalfi is all about LEMONS and neroli. Lemon trees everywhere, sipping on limoncello, lemon scented toiletries, lemon, bergamot and neroli oil aromas dancing out of the Maiolica craft shops in the sunshine. This scent is more like Seville for me.

It's like an orange spritz. Similar to some of the ffern perfumes. Specifically 2023 summer.

I have both Sun Kissed and Never Ending Summer, and I can officially state that these two are not the same, save the extra 50-60 dollars and get the NES; smells amazing, inoffensive, like a nice fruity cocktail in the Florida Keys. Only downside is you need to reapply 2-3 hours. bring a decant

Maison Margiela Never-ending Summer is exactly what the name suggests a summer moment that feels nice while it lasts. It opens with bitter orange, Aperol and pepper, followed by Earl Grey tea, cardamom and nutmeg, with vetiver, cedarwood, patchouli, cashmeran, Peru balsam and vanilla in the base which in my opinion is bit an overkill. The opening is fresh, citrusy and slightly bitter, with that Aperol-style sparkle that makes it feel very summery and easy to wear. It has a warm-weather charm, but also a slightly soft, almost auntie-like side that keeps it from feeling even a bit masculine. This is definitely unisex, but I do not think any man will smell this and say, “This is the best thing ever.” Because it is not. To me, it smells like a short summer romance by the sea. It arrives, shines for a moment, feels pleasant and carefree and then slowly disappears from both your skin and your memory. Projection is solid while it lasts, but longevity is honestly terrible. For the price, that is a problem. I would not call this a safe blind buy. Not because it smells bad, but because it simply does not offer anything you cannot get significantly better for the same money. Nice summer scent, weak staying power, and ultimately quite forgettable.

i love this scent. it's simple, delicious, bright, and joyful. i wore it during a recent heat wave and any time i got a whiff it left me feeling refreshed. it's the cool breeze blowing through a beachfront patio while you're sipping on an aperol spritz

Spritz accord is aptly named, it really does smell sparkling and a little boozy, with a fresh orange twist. There's also an herbal note I can't quite place—maybe sage?—that plays shockingly well with everything else. Like all citrus scents, this doesn't last long, but I'm pleased by the longevity of the greener notes. The base lasts at least 4 hours.

To me this smells like 100 different Lush bath bombs.
