I am a big fan of tuberose and jasmine in perfumes, but I did not like this very much. From the bottle and on the paper it smells good, a solid tuberose/jasmine scent, but on my skin it really lacks the creaminess of those notes and comes across as sharp and too soapy. If anyone is looking for a tuberose scent, I would recommend trying Do Son eau de Toilette by Dyptique instead, it is cheaper too.

I am a huge fan of strong white florals that kinda punch you in the face so I was so excited to finally have a sample of Narcotic V. Upon my first wearing... I can't lie, I was disappointed. After a while it became extremely soapy smellingon me... like old lady hand soap... that was not my goal haha. It smells so strong and SEXY on sample paper but ig it just hates my skin... Ill try again soon and maybe it will grow on me but idk...

Yes yes and yes. She got me 3 compliments within an hour with just 2 sprays alone. Powerhouse and I love her.

I really like this fragrance, but to me it is not super "sensual" or "sexual". To me this smells like a hot, rich, older woman who lives in Marin County, California. She has a manicured life on her massive estate, but she identifies as a "nature-lover", and she likes to proudly walk house guests through her blooming and fruiting garden (that the hired gardeners meticulously maintain). She considers herself an intelligent career-woman, but she has mysterious amounts of wealth so she doesn't actually work much. To me this smells regal, refined, proud, and polished.

Absolute beauty! Highly-potent, sweet, and creamy tuberose note. Leaning slightly feminine, but I don't mind it at all, since I am a big fan of tuberose/ white florals Wearing it on its own in spring and summer, will try to layer it with oud/ woody notes in the fall/winter.

Fantastic opening and good drydown. Leans too feminine for me in the drydown. Unique and cute.

This is what I imagine Aphrodite must have smelled like as she emerged from the sea foam radiant, magnetic, and utterly captivating. Reading reviews, I noticed many people had a rather unusual experience with Narcotic Venus on their skin. For me, it was the complete opposite. On my skin , It’s sensual and romantic in the most enchanting way There’s an incredible depth to it, with subtle facets that continue to reveal themselves the longer it lingers on the skin. This is exactly what I’d wear on a romantic evening. It embodies feminine energy in its most alluring form, soft, hypnotic, and unforgettable. it’s the scent of Aphrodite’s first breath as she rose from the sea. Also wanted to add… I’ve found that Narcotic Venus performs best when sprayed from a slight distance. Because it’s an extrait, a fine mist allows the composition to bloom naturally. When applied too closely in one concentrated spot, some people may perceive indolic facets more strongly. A softer application lets the sweetness and sensuality shine through beautifully. Not all fragrances are meant to be applied the same .

I loved this fragrance, but I’m told I smell of warm urine when I wear it 💔

The best form of Tuberose, Alessandro did what no one else could do with Tuberose, forget about other designers and I mean it! They are nothing when it comes to how Alessandro dealt with this note! I find it Unisex and wishing it had higher sillage

Pure powerhouse of Tuberose. A flower bomb that will never leave you. For better or for worse. Wears mature and classy. Ode to tuberose! Loudly and proudly. My mom would love this.

This smells like a humid tropical garden at dusk... Nocturnal flowers with a hint of damp earth and decay.

Narcotic Venus is a BEAUTIFUL, very pure tuberose scent, super close to Nishane's Tuberoza as well as Tuberoza X. I don't find this bubble-gummy at all, on me it's more of a musky, clean, straightforward tuberose, making it very easy to wear on a daily basis. I'm down to my last few drops and am VERY sad about that, but thankfully have half a bottle left of Tuberoza X to soothe me once this beauty is finished! This is one I could easily imagine re-purchasing, but it is darn expensive for 30 mls! Nasomatto has got me with those incredible bottles though - they are w-o-w. If you love tuberose, you can't go wrong with this one - she's a stunner!!

I really want to love this fragrance. I adore floral scents, figured I'd love this one too. I was wrong. I tried it twice, and I just can't handle it. It makes my skin crawl for some reason. The florals are there, but it has an animalic, sharp accord in it that I can't wrap my head around. I love tuberose, and that's why I'm so surprised by disliking this perfume so much. It smells so sinister and wild.

I, a real schmuck, dropped 15 beans on a microscopic vial of this stuff. What the hell was I thinking? I suppose the name got me. What lady can resist a perfume that promises such power? I mean, I was expecting to produce some looney tunes a-WOOGA foot thumping reactions in the men around me. Alas, this is nothing more than a blase, synthetic bubblegum tuberose a la Gucci Bloom. Plus, it has an irritatingly juvenile peach candy undercurrent. Lolita breath, and not in the rosy Humbert POV way, but in the real life stinky teenager way. My fiance literally shrugged after sniffing this, and said “sure, it’s nice?" At this point, Diptyque’s Do Son is the only tuberose I can take seriously!

this is so sexy. doesn't matter if im on my period, when i smell this i start ovulating violently. like yes we see u , playing innocent and shy but ure freakyasf as fuck sweating from the function but mixed with tuberose, no one can tell ure wearing a black lace thong under your dress except u and that makes u wet

I’ve had this in my collection for several years now and my feelings about it have definitely evolved. When I first bought it, I thought it was beautiful—but not particularly distinctive or interesting. Just… very pretty, in a straightforward way. Over time, it’s completely won me over. It’s become one of those fragrances I keep coming back to and repurchasing without hesitation. On my skin, it’s primarily a sweet, slightly heady tuberose, with jasmine and a soft clean musk rounding it out. There’s an interesting nuance to this. Sometimes the jasmine leans slightly indolic, in the realm of the original lush lust, adding an intoxicating edge and depth, while other times it stays more clean and luminous. Sometimes the tuberose feels more sweet bubblegummy, where other times it feels more thick, sometimes I feel I can smell something like gardenia, sometimes ai don’t. Those shifts keeps it from ever feeling flat or predictable to me. What really stands out to me is how consistently it draws compliments—mostly from other women, which I always find more telling. It has a massive lingering scent trail and that balance of being noticeable without feeling overwhelming or suffocating, it feels sensual without trying too hard. What I once dismissed as ‘just pretty’ has turned out to be quite addictive.

This is so sexy. It does smell like Tuberoza but this is better. Narcotic Venus- extremely aptly named, btw- is not a dainty floral but it has a more delicate and refined touch than Tuberoza. It’s a great replacement for the original Michael Kors perfume.

this is a really gorgeous scent. starts soapy, a bit after a little dirtiness shows up but does not stay long and continues pretty normal. afterwards it sits close to the skin. i don’t think this is animalic at all but it is really intoxicating and beautiful

I enjoy layering this with ouds, Its weaponised white floral, loud and powerful Staying power even through some of my strongest oud fragrances this is always notibly there at the end of the day. Fantastic fragrance.

Its so good even men can’t resist buying it for themselves

I loved the look of the notes , tried it and it smells like someone sprayed pink sure deodorant on sweaty puss. The lilly is sort of piss like and the spices must have some cumin in there there resemblance to female sweat is actually too much .

femme from the 80s and 90s tuberosa and creamy floral. Nothing special, good blend, and it smells good, but dated. It reminds me of a Trussardi in a pink bottle.

Анонім★★★★★

dude idk what is wrong with my skin but on me this smelled like straight up wet fish that you just grabbed out of the sea. gross on my skin, but i loved how it was on paper 3

unisex, huele a flores blancas ligeramente frutales, huele quizas como la evolucion unisex de un perfume de señora

Nothing like a condescending, unsexy, boring person who induces headaches projecting his/ her inadequacies on others via a class fragrance that happens to not appeal to them. Lack of imagination + some bitterness is a dynamite combination lol.

Gorgeous tuberose, and it’s a soliflore for me. I meann maybe there is some jasmine, quiet in the background.. Natural beauty, thic petals, beautifully feminine. association: polished, luxurious, clean white flower bonanza

Something I really like about this. Too feminine for me but it smells great. Might be one of my favorite fem fragrances along with Nudiflorum (unisex but great on a woman)

I'm not really sure what is going on with me. I have not been writing anything. Not one thought, not one emotion. I have been trying countless new fragrances. Some of them have been fantastic, while others have not. Either way, I have not been motivated enough to write anything down. So here I am. Yesterday in the mail, I received Narcotic V. I purchased this for myself with my Christmas money lol. I laughed because when I said that out loud it reminded me of being back in junior high school. Anyway, it took about two months to get here because it was backordered. I find it interesting that it was indeed backed because it's been around for over 18 years! Wow, 18 years. I decided to wear it as my fragrance of the day today. As I sit here, I'm starting to realize Alessandro truly does have a gift. This fragrance, at first glance, doesn't appear special, especially to the untrained nose. It is a white upon white fragrance. Tuberose, Jasmine, Lily, you name it, it has it. So what makes it so special? These types of fragrances are a dime a dozen. In my opinion, it's the intention behind it that makes it a masterpiece. Alessandro wanted to create, or replicate, the emotion or feeling of the desire of hunting down the female. The narcotic urge that keeps man going. Instinctual. Carnal and animalistic. It's not just about the white floral here. He created something that triggers. A sum greater than its parts. If you are still in the prime of your life, wearing this will greatly enhance that deep rooted feeling of raw, nasty, borderline shameful sex. Different from sadanaso however! Narcotic v is much more about the Chase. The desire. The female allure. Sad puts you right in the middle of the sex already in progress. All of this simply from one spray. That's why Alessandro is an artist. I have found a new inspiration from a fragrance buried deep in the archives. This is a lesson to always follow your own instincts and never stick to just the new releases. Always look beyond the marketing campaigns and the trends. They are slowly killing this beautiful artistry. I look forward to purchasing as much as I can from this great artist.

As a fan of tuberose but being a male and not wanting to smell like flowers all the time, Narcotic V solved the problem by coming in 30 ml and being the perfect tuberose floral blend
