beautiful, fresh scent. reminds me of baby shampoo in the best way possible. i think this might be my new signature scent! just wish the longevity was a bit better

smells like sipping warm & sweet blackcurrant tea in the flower garden of your house. while the projection is moderate, it lasts so long on both my clothes + skin. pretty girl fragrance.

Meliora is my favorite fragrance from PDM’s women’s line so far and yet it's not full bottle worthy for me. I haven’t had much luck with their offerings. This is a pleasant fruity floral with white musk. It smells fresh while also smelling sweet and feminine. It’s similar to a fruity shampoo or old school Bath & Body Works scent. Only slightly more elevated if I'm being honest. It smells clean but still has plenty of sweetness. I have to be in the mood for this one. It can be a little bit headachey. I’m not sure which note is causing that for me. It’s not unique or original by any means, but I typically don’t mind that if it’s done well and Meliora is. It's suitable for any weather. I think this could be a good signature scent for someone. This is a very youthful fragrance that I somehow think any age can pull off if you're a fan of this scent profile. I would even say this could be worn for both day or night. I'm a fan of women wearing fresher, lighter, or just more surprising scents out at night rather than always just the usual heavy, smoky, or overly sweet vanilla scents at night. Overall, Meliora is a pretty scent in a pretty bottle with moderate projection and longevity. It's nice, but wildly overpriced.

i really loved this and felt that i had found my signature scent, but i eventually stopped wearing it after i had 3 separate students tell me i smelled like the hand soap in our elementary school restrooms. honestly they were right unfortunately this pulls the wrong kind of soapy on me lol

I got a Set of 4 travel sizes from this house for Xmas and out of the 4 this one is by far my favourite in fact it could be my favourite from the house. It just smells magical to me what a spring or summer day should smell like. It’s grown up yet playful and I could wear this all the time. On warm days it’s perfect especially if you want a summery scent that isn’t sun screeny. The berries are sweet and balanced well by the bottom notes of musk and woods. If you can get your nose on this I recommend you try it

I don't know if others go noseblind because this stuff is beast mode imo. It penetrates the air and lasts forever. I'm yet to discover how long it can last on clothes because it's always stuck around so long that I've had to give up because the clothes needed a wash.

The most different in all the PDM's I've smelled but also the least favorite of mine as I personally don't like green notes in my perfumes. It's like a fresh, green floral perfume that almost borders soapy. Not unpleasant and it gives me clean girl aesthetic but just not my vibe.

I've never thought that orange bossom note could overpower all these berries, THIS MUCH. I was hoping it's nicely blended without being noticeable, but all I can smell is orange blossom. To me, D&G My Devotion is inspired by Meliora definitely, they're 90% similar.

It's a nice spring summer daytime fragrance.

its a Delicious pretty fragrance, truth to the notes, but for the younger crowd. the dry down is bit soppy I will keep it for the more cheerful days

became too soapy to me - I think because of lily of the valley

It's a pretty fragrance, like a wistful princess from a far away land. However it's just not worth the price. You could find something similar in dior blooming bouqet. There is little sillage and the longevity is poor. For something costing hundreds i'd expect it to go 'beast mode' in all aspects. I feel that way about almost all parfum de marlys i've tried, beautiful but the scent is fleeting and too simple.

meliora is beautiful. it is, it really is. the tart raspberries and red fruits in the top notes pair so excellently with the soft florals and vanilla in the middle and base notes. it pisses me off that it's *so* beautiful, because for the price, it's longevity is absolute ass. i swear to god within ten minutes it's shitted and farted off, never to be whiffed again. it's light, feminine, and airy — it's reminiscent of fancy european shampoo. for those who don't dream of smelling like Sexy Herbal Essences, maybe this isn't for you. but for those who DO... god don't buy it, go pick up something else, this is like $400 or something because there's nothing PdM loves more than pink taxing the everloving shit out of you. you could probably use bath and body works' eucalyptus and cranberry bathroom spray, close your eyes, and cope. as at least the bathroom spray would last longer than this 😭😭😭 overall rating: 7/10 — gorgeous. lasts for the exact amount of time it takes for champagne fizz to die down (2 minutes) 🐦👎🕒

I am such a sucker for Parfums de Marly! As a lifelong equestrian, the horse theme is appealing. I love that Meliora was a prized mare who was the mother of the famous racehorse Herod (also a PdM fragrance). All the PdM perfumes I have are well balanced, beautiful, and so very wearable. Meliora is sweet, light, and fruity, perfect for spring and summer. Picture raspberries in champagne - sipping on a Kir Royale cocktail on a late spring evening in a flower garden. Yes, it's expensive. Sometimes I like to feel expensive, and this is the smell of a romantic summer date night in a bottle.

My absolute favorite perfume at the moment. Reminds me of a lychee jelly cup with a soapy dry down in the best way possible. I just wish it projected more.

A pretty garden fairy scent. Very feminine and pretty. I wouldn’t buy this for myself (I had a sample), but if someone gifted this to me, I would be happy. The bottle is gorgeous and the scent is perfect for spring.

Although I have appreciation for Valaya and Delina, to me Meliora smells like straight up soap. I starting to realize that Nathalie Lorson and I have very different scent appreciation. I have yet to like anything done by her -Pass

Meliora opens with bright berries, soft citrus and rose but slightly mature. As it settles, the rose comes more prominent to me and the initial brightness fades and the scent feels more rounded and richer. It is very pretty but personally it prefer the other PDM fragrances.

Very nice, elegant handsoap scent, which is strong and still vibrant. I don't like handsoaps, but if this fragrance would have a friendlier price, I would wear it instead of Valaya.

LOVE THIS. I haven't smelled anything liked this and it is definitely signature scent worthy. It is feminine, fun, fruity, young, but elegant. Could be dressed up or down. Ugh it's so good

Generic feminine fruity floral, but there’s something (I think in the musk) that makes this fragrance less like a shampoo and more like a dryer sheet. There’s a sharpness there that I am not a fan of. Luckily for me, it doesn’t last long. But if you are looking for a powerful feminine fruity floral, I would suggest elsewhere unless you have money to burn.

Sadly, it smells like a hair product to me, when I smelled it on the shopkeeper it smelled like an amazingly realisctic jasmine tea but whatever magic was happening there just doesn't happen for me and my nose with this

Sometimes I'm baffled by AI-generated lists of 'pros' and 'cons' for each scent featured here on Fragrantica. However, in the case of Meliora, the lists are 99% accurate. So, the 'pros' are: Perfect for spring and early summer; Classy and feminine scent; Uplifting, bright, and cheerful character; Realistic, sophisticated green vegetal notes; etc. but the 'cons' are: Not worth the high niche price tag; Poor longevity and weak projection; Can feel generic or shampoo-like; Lacks the depth expected for niche pricing; etc. Quite! So, not much to add, except for this: if you love light fruity scents and have €300 to waste, then buy Meliora; if not, then sleep peacefully knowing that this fragrance is easily forgettable.

Honestly beautiful upon spraying and you do get the berries in the opening .However this perfume dissipates rather quickly (30 min max on my skin ). I can't justify buying it for the price. I owned Amethyst by Lalique ,which is made by the same perfumer and considered an alternative but I found it a bit basic smelling as well.

Light and fresh, slightly sour and leans toward smelling like a cheap bathroom spray on my skin. I don’t dislike it, but not worth the price for me.

i loved this and was really feeling myself wearing this - to me it smells like an adult version of some of the grape shampoos i would use as a child. i had multiple students tell me it smelled like the bathroom hand soap. i couldn't unsmell it after that. good projection though.
