Beautiful take on the dna. I've decanted this and already have CDN sillage, this one is much more gentle on the inkyness and metallic feel, and the rose is so beautiful...powdery and airy, not sticky and heavy, nothing grandma style. In the car drydown the rose steps back and the oud (it's clean oud, not medicinal or animalic) blends perfectly with the flowery vibe, adding a slightly pungent feel that makes This very masculine and confident. This is exceptional, I hope for an even better remake with Better oils and a more premium Bottle. This is also dirt cheap, you can't make this up. Just buy it if you like the dna, you won't regret it. Not necessarily ''better'' than the cdn (this One Is Actually closer to the og and has more of a "icy, airy and metallic feel) or the closest dupe, both have their role and personalities, but if you want someything less abrasive in the opening with a nice flowery twist this is the one to buy.
Dupe for Silver Mountain Water by Creed. Incredible copy. It’s got a cold, icy scent and given the name of the OG, I see the perfume being worn more during the snowy winter.
Smells like grandma toes
It is cheap, fresh and wonderful scent fragrance. Long lasting. Recommend
Straight out of the box, I acutally didn't like it and was kinda sad. To me smelled like my grandma's house. I tried it again weeks later and it turned into probably my favourite fragrance in my collection. The rose is really pleasant and the musk/woodiness in the dry down are smooth. At first I thought this didn't project very well, as I couldn't smell it on my body unless my nose was upclose, but I wore it yesterday and my friends actually said I smelt really good and the scent stayed after I had gone away, like I left a trail. One of them said "Stay close to me, you're like an air freshner".
First impressions. I get a fresh rose accord, then some pepper, citruses... and vinegar. The non-vinegar part is actually very pleasant, but the vinegar ruins it for me. And the base notes are very thin, something similar to cardboard there.
I’m not sure if 70, 80 or 90% to the OG and I don’t care because this fragrance is freakin fantastic!!! So smooth and calming. Makes my mood better. I’m an over sprayer so my bubble is bangin and gets compliments. Soft florals and clean sexy musk. The lavender with cedar/sandlewood combo and sexy amber in the base is so sensual!!! A forever chemical that I want sprayed in my casket. When I meet my maker this is how I wanna smell, that turned dark, but this so clean & bright!!! So fresh and so clean
I've had this for a few years and love it! I look forward to it every summer. It's an easy reach for summer days, although you do not need more than 3 sprays on high heat days...4 tops! It projects and sillage is beast. I do not know what the OG smells like and really do not care. This to my nose does have that rose smell but it's not a jammy rose or anything. Get this for your summer rotation.
This is a great scent. I will say that this is obviously not a 1 to 1 for SMW due to the rose. But it is VERY similar. WARNING: If you do not like rose fragrances, do not buy this fragrance. To my nose at least, this is a ROSE fragrance. Rose is the dominant note throughout this. Also if you are quick to get headaches, this may not be a great fragrance. This fragrance is SHARP and clean just like SMW. It has a piercing, and metallic, fresh smelling rose. BE WARNED. I can say that this fragrance has a minimum of 2hrs of projection, likely much more. As soon as i got to work my frag brother (who owns SMW and lots of niche) could smell it and said it smelled good. Had to be 5-6ft away from me. Don't over spray this. I did 5 sprays (3 on neck and 2 on shirt) and that seems enough. All in all it is a great alternative to SMW especially if you like rose. Plus i think it was $30 on Jomashop. I will say that the bottle itself is trash. The white and silver you see are all cheap plastic. I ordered a new bottle that i will be putting it in. A great buy.
I somewhat agree with BelvedereRabbit. It is VERY rose forward, smelling it up close all you smell is an old grandmas purfume. However, in the air you can really see why people compare this with silver mountain water, it smells quite pleasant. Issue is I’m not sure if it’s been reformulated, but this is weak, 8 sprays and I can barely smell it in the air when sprayed on skin and all I smell is rose. This is dated and if you are looking for a silver mountain water clone I do not recommend this, silver mountain waters appeal is a the icey alpine feeling with fresh tea, this removes that completely and leaves a bang average scent
It smells like an old ladie's perfume that has gone off. NOTHING like Silver Mountain Water, nothing in the slightest. It smells cheap, waaaaay too much rose scent. Sort of reminds me of wet cardboard boxes with a rose-scented candle nearby. Hate it.
This is exactly like silver mountain water as I have both of them...not a bad dupe! It lasts longer than silver mountain water!too bad I got 2 bottles of smw! It has a rose/floral touch to it..... I'm gonna end up broke like this! Hahaha Edit: this is going in my top 5 for the summer along with Dior home sport. I prefer this to SMW
Was debating between this and Azha Mountaineer but I bit the bullet and got this. I'd say fragrances with the SMW DNA are fairly linear. This honestly might be a step up from SMW with that added rose. Al Wisam Day, and by extension, SMW clones have that airy, fresh, and addicting musk-citrus-floral combo that I just love. This adds in rose which makes it more elegant than other clones, I can't point it out specifically but it's slightly different in a good way. This, to me, is the cleanest smelling fragrance OAT, not in a soapy way like say Fakhar black but in an airy, classy, well put together way. Aside from the juice, the bottle is really cheap and plasticky and squeaky, the cap also needs some lubrication. When wearing CDN Sillage, I have been told it smells bug spray ish. I guess that would translate over here, but I'm not sure yet! Performance on this for a freshie is monstrous, it projects loud and it has great longevity, honestly it's on par with the gourmands I have. A great buy, definitely worth copping.
Al Wisam Day is an elegant and masculine rose fragrance. The rose is contrasted by a prominent sandalwood, a gentle musk and some faint oakmoss that gives the scent a strong masculine undertone. Oud is listed as a note but it's totally absent. It's very professional and clean cut but still has a welcoming and pleasant aura about it. Perfect for everyday wear if you are a looking for something more mature with a slight barbershop DNA, mixed with a fresh-out-the-shower rose scented shower gel type feel. While I blind bought this and i'm very happy with it, younger users in their teens and 20's might feel like the note construction feels a bit dated and old fashioned -- but that's part of its charm, that it maintains its wearability today while capturing an old school feel. Even in the bottle design it manages to capture the vintage aesthetic.
I get this is a twist on SMW but all that aside this is a fantastic scent for an unbelievable price. Easy blind buy because it’s so wearable and so affordable. Clean, fresh and inexpensive
slightly synthetic bright rose with a very sharp metallic edge to it that I despise, it's a refreshing choice for summer moderate days if you're unsure what to wear longevity gave me about 6-8 hours, not a blind buy worthy sample it before getting. but it's very good given the price. I still prefer wearing Guerlain Rosa Palissandro over this at any given day. Presentation / Atomizer (Good) Scent Quality / Uniqueness 3.5 Longevity / Performance 3.5 (5H+) Versatility / Occasions 3 Price Point 3 Final Verdict: 3.2
Got this on a Black Friday special. Really enjoying the rose twist on the DNA. Armaf Sillage is much sharper with the citrus opening. I enjoy both although Al Wisam probably smells a bit more rounded and classy.
Smells Like a combination of SMW and Silk Musk By Ajmal but more sophisticated and long lasting. Nice Sandalwood base as well, but i didn't got any oud at all, maybe it is listed on the notes pyramid by mistake. 10/10 Scent Would prefer this one on SMW 🥰
It smells like a Bulgarian body lotion with rose oil. Definitely unisex.
I'm not sure why, but after the drydown (on paper), a certain element of it reminds me of Green Irish Tweed / Coty Aspen ...., even though I don't see GIT/clones ..... suggested here; however, this drydown association is lighter and more airy than GIT, and it has much more of a citrus presence, whereas GIT leans more floral herbal. Strange.
as sensationseeker said: this smells like a well-groomed oblivious casanova.. a very nice man with no ill intentions whatsoever and who's biggest worry is whether his project for english class will be done on time.. not knowing that makes him kinda hot.
one of the best fragrans they have
Rating: 3/10 Al Wisam Day by Rasasi smells like a toilet air freshener — the kind I’d use after a bathroom break. It gave me a headache and reminded me of that sharp, artificial “clean” scent from a cheap aerosol spray. The fragrance has a messy blend of notes that don’t really come together. I couldn’t pick out anything distinct — it just smells generic and synthetic, like a very cheap fragrance. Performance was decent, but that’s the only redeeming quality. Not my cup of tea at all.
Smells like girls' Teen Spirit Deodorant to me. I feel like a head shop I would go to in college had a rack of incense, and if you smelled each one you'd eventually get to one that smells like this one. There is a lingering "this smells middle eastern" smell to it- like a powdery rose soapy deodorant incense. I got a variety pack of "wonder wafers" car air fresheners and I feel like there were two or three that smelled like this stuff. And honestly, all three of the things I've compared this to- I'm not sure if I want to smell like. I am not familiar with SMW, but I had always thought it was a very metallic barbershop type of smell to it, like an Egoiste Platinum smell. This doesn't smell like that to me. There's this weird creamy sandalwood note that seems to clash with the rose note to me. And the fragrance memories that this hits for me just make it a bit unpleasant. I feel like this smells like I'm trying to cover up body odor with my sister's deodorant rather than washing myself and applying some men's products.
AROMATIC ROSE WATER In the opening you get molested by a harsh alcoholic blast Afterwards it is pleasant the scent is not half bad But the performance man it's just not great literally no projection Wouldn't recommend honestly Scent 7.5 /10 Performance 4/10
Here we go i bought this perfume more than 10 years ago it was like a bomb , very very long lasting and i got many compliments , it was always in my collection but recently i bought it again to remember the fragrance but it’s just like water it will last for maximum 30 minutes i was shocked , i sent mail to the Rasasi company to complain about the Performance. Everyone knows it’s similar to SMW from creed. I don't recommend until they return it to the old version, it was a very long lasting perfume.
The synthetic rose is very harsh upon opening, becomes more tolerable shortly afterwards HOWEVER something in the dry down (maybe the oakmoss) gives this a salty/earthy sweat-like aroma that has seriously killed any potential this fragrance had
Al Wisam is a radiant, heavily synthetic masculine rose. Basically it smells like a very nice man; the sort of boy-band/anime/counselor/teacher figure teen girls dream of, suave and sophisticated and empathetic and a good listener. Very clean, very smooth, somehow both distinctly masculine and dipped in pastel-pink shimmering rosewater. He’s Not Just A Boy Band Made Up Of Four Joshes, He’s Also A Team Of Licensed Mental Health Professionals. He always flies first class and he sparkles in the sun.
This is a metallic, and somewhat sharp take on rose. I'm a fan of rose in fragrances especially something like Givenchy Accord Particulier or a sweeter take like Lattafa Bade'e Al oud Amethyst. Al Wisam Day is more of a synthetic and piercing take on rose and is absolutely not a safe blind buy! This is my honest and subjective view of this fragrance so I can see that if you enjoy this type of scent profile then you'll probably love it. I personally haven't smelled anything like this in the natural world world so I can only ascertain that it's a synthetic sort of Inky metallic rose that may appeal to certain tastes. I honestly find Moschino Toy Boy more appealing than this and I don't like that one at all.
A really pleasant, masculine, classy, and mature fragrance. It is fresh, clean, soft, light, and bright. This feels transluscent, crystalline, and fluorescent. I consider this as the perfect scent when wearing white clothes in a hot summer day. It is unique enough that it will stand out from the crowd. It has mass-appealing aspects and is inoffensive when sprayed moderately. Longevity is 7+ hours on my skin. Loud projection for the first 3-5 hours; surprisingly, people 6 feet away from can smell me. I love it. This is the 4th fragrance I've smelled with the "SMW scent DNA" and I want to do a brief comparison between them. The performance of Al Wisam Day is way better than both Silver Mountain Water and Mefisto, but Club de Nuit Sillage is the strongest, sharpest, most potent and most abrasive among the four I've mentioned, Sillage is nuclear and has a prominent metallic and inky feel to it (imagine a razorblade dipped in radioactive ink, that is what I imagine Sillage is like) and thus can be unwearable in indoor settings such as the office and school and lasts too long on skin (it lasts 10+ hours on my skin, often lasting until nighttime). Meanwhile, Silver Mountain Water becomes an intimate skin scent in 30 minutes, Mefisto lasts 4-6 hours with average projection. In my opinion, Al Wisam Day is the most perfectly balanced among these four fragrances – it is not too loud and not too weak, and lasts the right amount of time that by nighttime it fades away and I could spray on another perfume better suited for the night. Al Wisam Day, in my opinion, is the best among these 4 fragrances.
