Cherry Smoothie Eau de Parfum

so fizzy and playful- revisited this after a year and forgot how much I love it for summer! Thought my tastes would’ve evolved and I’d hate it but actually it’s syrupy and fun and flirty, slightly powdery from heliotrope/almond and performs incredibly for the price

it's a lovely scent. that's all there is to it. it does surprisingly last for a few hours on the skin and it will smell very sweet, vanilla-y, even powdery after you let it stay

It does indeed smell of stale cherries and plums mixed with ink or a nasty metallic smell, it’s not entirely bad, but it could be much better. Once it settles down, it becomes quite pleasant and sweet as the ink smell fades and the almond and floral notes come through but it’s still a bit nauseating. A few years ago I used to wear it and thought the juicy cherry was lovely and perfect but now I find it smells a bit musty. I don’t think it’s awful, so I won’t condemn it to death and I think a lot of people might like it. longevity : a really long time like 7 hours ? and i feel like most perfumes don't last on my skin so it's really good Sillage : I remember people telling me they knew exactly where I’d been, just from the scent of cherries I left behind everywhere.

I like it but due to it’s boldness and simplicity, I layer this parfume with more floral, less sweet parfumes to achieve complexity that I miss in this parfume.

Please, trust the bad comments. I know, i know it's only 10€ but please...don't be silly like me. I LOVE cherry perfumes, but this is so basic and very artificial. I woud recommend you Gulf Orchid Sweet Heaven Cherry (not expensive) or Kayaly Lovefest Burning Cherry.

Ok, so I used to wear lost cherry a lot, and there is something in there that made me get absolutely terrible scent exhaustion. This is a more powdery, synthetic take on a similar DNA, it has the vibe of an old doll, almost! I might start wearing this again...

I know it's either love it or hate it situation, but I love this so much. It's slightly medicinal at first, but after a while, it's sweet (a little synthetic) cherry which I adore. Dries down to vanilla-y almond. Doesn't last on my skin tho :'(

Despite all the negative reviews surrounding this perfume, I for one adore it. If you love artificial almost sickly sweet cherry scents then this is your go too, it smells exactly like the mix between a cherry moam sweet and those maraschino cherries you get in cocktails. It's affordable and lasts for quite a long time for me, after spraying it on my clothes I'll find that days later I can still smell it, it's super strong!!

It smells very synthetic; there’s something sickening about it that makes me feel nauseous and heavy. I've noticed that most Zara perfumes have a certain quality that triggers nausea for me. In my opinion, it’s nothing like Lost Cherry, which has a much more realistic cherry scent. I bought it to keep in my car since cherry is one of my favorite notes, but I ended up giving it away. That stuffy, plastic smell makes it impossible for me to use.

As a cherry fragrance lover, I’ve had this one on my Zara wish list, not because I really desperately wanted it, but I figured I might like to have it, and these small 30 ml bottles can come in handy for when you want to get over the free shopping threshold. The day has finally come. I have been tempted to get my hands on Tom Ford’s Lost Cherry. At this point, I’m only familiar with the Maison Alhambra clone which smells great but it just doesn’t last on me. I figured that, if Cherry Smoothie was kind of like that, then it would still be worth the money, and it would serve its point. When I received it, I sprayed it on my skin. The very opening was nothing like that scent profile. It was sooo sickly sweet, sticky sweet and very disappointingly plasticky and synthetic. It was disappointing because I’m used to much better from Zara, especially from those types of bottles. I feared it was going to be a fail, but hey, something to wear around the house or something, then. But luckily it quickly turned around in a matter of minutes as it settled down. The synthetic feeling disappeared, it went closer to the skin and it became a deeper, more pleasant fragrance. Like some have said, it definitely has a quality that is reminiscent of incense, which probably is the thing about it that I like the best.

I loved the original formulation of this from 2022 (https://www.fragrantica.com/perfume/Zara/Cherry-Smoothie-2022-72492.html) but this seems like a poor imitation. Comparing the notes, almond is more of a middle note here than it is in the 2022 version and you can tell - the loss of the almond in the top notes is a blow to the overall scent, removing any real complexity that the original maintained and leaving behind a fragrance that smells merely of playdoh.

i don’t typically give out reviews this short as i tend to develop complex feelings about each fragrance i try but this is just downright atrocious. this smells cheap, plasticky and made me wash my hand off instantly upon applying. i am not joking one single bit. do. not. wear. this. (unless you wanna give your friends/date a diabetic coma, if so then indulge yourself)

This was the perfume that started my fragrance journey back in 2023. On paper this is a slam-dunk for me, as I love strong and juicy cherry-almond scents, but it always left me feeling a bit disappointed. There's a very harsh initial note upon spraying that's quite off-putting, and the cherry comes across as bitter and artificial. It does dry down nicely though, as the cherry and plum take a backseat while the almond comes forward. In the years since, I've found other perfumes that do what Cherry Smoothie claims to do, but in a way I prefer. Shaghaf Oud Tonka in particular is basically what I hoped Cherry Smoothie would be. Nowadays my 80ml bottle has been relegated to being an air freshener for my car. I was gifted a newer 30ml bottle which comes off as slightly better-blended to my nose, but I'm still left feeling somewhat cold towards it.

There's absolutely no TF cherry quality here. This perfume smells sugary and lacks depth. I regret buying it. There is all cherry cherry and cherry but in a cheap way.(ı love cherry) As time passes, the incredible sweetness of the scent fades, but the opening was so bad that I don't know if I can use it.

I sprayed this on, just a few pffpff's here and there, BUT OMG!!! my boyfriend got nauseous and told me to change my clothes and take a shower. The smell was HORRENDOUS!!! like toilet spray mixed with some cherry juice and a little sprankle of pee for the finishing touch! Definitely recommend for people going through a rocky divorce!!

what do i have to do to not smell bandaids in every cherry fragrance that i smell??? lol help

Every time I review a Zara fragrance I feel compelled to preface my thoughts by stating that I'm very anti fast fashion,. Even since my last review of a Zara fragrance my Zara fashion purchases are still limited to a dress, a hat, and pair of earrings. The best Zara fragrances are the ones that were created by Jo Malone, which are excellent. I also really love Linen Musk. I was intrigued by their Applejuice fragrance, which they have been selling since 2012, but found it disappointing. I actually quite enjoy this cheap and slightly trashy fragrance, but at 39 I need to go a little more upscale when I want a fun fragrance. This has a many notes that I absolutely love (plum, almond, heliotrope) and is in the woody amber family which is fragrance family I particularly love, but is so boozy and sweet that it's practically syrupy. It has a slightly trashy, part girl vibe that would be perfect for someone in her early 20s. Woody amber fragrances that have a similar vibe include Dior Hypnotic Poison and Glossier You Rêve, but without the heavy, syrupy sweetness, so I'll stick with those. I feel a little silly wearing Cherry Smoothie so I'll be giving my bottle away.

How is there no incense listed... This is a cherry incense frag, and i actually really like it. I'm a guy btw, and i feel like men can where this for sure.

I am not a fan of the alcoholic opening, but after a five minutes or so it becomes a very nice sweetish cherry scent, pleasant and fun.

Hmm. Idk what to say. This one is a love/hate. It is indeed delicious but also sticky and heavy. I'm not a fan of cherry fragrances but I do like this combination of almonds and heliotrope and what I find unnecessary is so much sweetness. It would be better if it was just tonka, it would be enough sweet, it would be lighter, vanilla is too much and brings heaviness. I guess earlier 2022 version with peru balsam was better.

very very unique. exactly like zottis jogobell cherry yoghurt! a feeling never felt before cherry perfumes mainly smell to me nothing of cherry, and more like old lipstick... but this one is greatly represented by its name currently dont have it, but plan on getting it. the tester stayed on my hand for a lot, and i assume its very long lasting as most zara products are this could be your potential signature scent, or at least a great one to mark a certain time in your life

sprayed this fucking beast at 8am and my mom said she could still smell it by 9pm 😭😭 great not too juvenile not too grown-up scent!! i love the cherry here, very fruity and delicious 😋 also worth mentioning - no idea how but it smells kind of incense-ish on the drydown for me, might not be everyone's cup of tea but i love it

cannot tell if i love or hate this fragrance. i think i am just not a big fan of cherry to be honest. its very aggressive and punches you in the face, it last for ages. sometimes i even smell it the next day.

Cherry Smoothie by Zara kicks off with a loud burst of sweet cherry syrup — fun at first, but a bit artificial and candy-like. After a while, it softens and turns slightly powdery, with a hint of almond peeking through. The drydown is a mellow mix of cherry, almond, and tonka vanilla, pleasant but nothing exciting. It stays pretty linear, and after the first half hour, there’s not much development. Feels more like a body spray than a full perfume. A bit girly and playful, sure, but also kind of forgettable. If you really like sweet cherry scents, it’s fine for the price — otherwise, nothing special.

this is love in first puff... I wish it could stay at this phase forever but unfortunately it doesn't... every time I try it on, I fall in love, and decide to use the upcoming days after first puff, the next day the magic is gone...something happens in between but every time I try this on, I forget what happens. Maybe it is about my memory maybe it is about the scent I donno. I can say, it is way better than Tom Ford Lost Cherry which happens to be the inspiring original; ironically, Zara has done a better cherry scent imho. Long story short, this is a good cherry scent which loses its magic in a few hours. But those few hours are the ones you may daydream... it is delicious

omg i rlly like it !!!yes it’s kinda chemical but not too much for me and i personally rlly like the syrupy scent :))))maybe it’s bc im 19 and its just adds to my style but i liiiike it. longevity is not very strong but could be worse. for its price its overall veri nice

I realized with this perfume that I’m not a cherry fan. very loud cherry, very long lasting. stronger than TF lost cherry imo.

Why is this called Cherry Smoothie? Who in the entire existence of the known universe has made a smoothie out of cherries?? Cherry Syrup would be a more fitting (and better-sounding) name. Very cherry cough drop to start, but the sticky sweetness and especially the fruit-crumble drydown make this a really fun and nostalgic scent to wear. It's uncomplicated, artificial and as juvenile as a body spray, but at least has the guts to actually smell like something. A damn fine cherry pie.

Cherry is definitely the highlight, not too bitter, not too sweet, smells extremely natural, no rubbing alcohol aftersmell or residue, stays on clothes, radiates, loving the perfume and will be getting the big size for sure. (P.S if Tom Ford cherry perfumes are too expensive, this is definitely the move:))
