Smells like pickles😭

awww this was one of my first perfumes ♡ tun—both the perfume and the album— has such a special place in my heart. this fragrance is beachy, its flirty, it’s exactly what ariana described it as upon release. i will never understand why people say it smells like pickles. i still have my first bottle and she smells lovely! i’m nearly 21 now, so it does smell a bit more “childish” to my nose now, but i occasionally layer her with another perfume

Coconut with berries and pear yummy.. but the alcohol scent and the perfume pump were the worst. the macarons are almost nonexistent? honestly, I don't know, I've never smelled macarons. roses and musk stand out after settling down. but overall it's a good fragrance.

On me this seems to smell like a piña colada that has curdled. It’s got a harsh buttery-coconutty smell that I hate to love, but love to hate. It’s not my favourite but I have been told it smells really nice on me so I will wear until I finish the bottle!

Smells like only pickle on the opening and then it becomes less pickle-y and the other notes come out but it's definitely still pickle-forward. Maybe it's just my skin chemistry but my bf immediately smelled pickles. It's not a bad smell, I love pickles, I just don't want to smell like them.

Smells nice like the body mist and lasts longer. The lid is a little difficult to take on and off.

I do not like the opening Once the alcohol disperses you are left with an overpowering French macaroon smell. Then it turns into a rose, coconut, musk that is pleasant.

Drys down with a coconut smell but not a good one. Smells very cheap. Wouldn't buy again

I blind bought this years ago, it's the only perfume I sprayed once then never used again. It just smelled like pickles to me:(

I like all Ariana Grande perfumes, but this is leaning on my not-so-fave side. Wouldn't repurchase, but was still fun to wear when I had it.

I fell in love with this perfume in a drugstore aisle on a cold fall evening of 2019 and smelling it always brings me back to that time. It was my first Ariana Grande perfume and I have to say that her fragrances are right up my alley. To me this is a raspberry and pear scent, with a hint of floral. It is creamy, but I don't really smell coconut in it. It is quite sharp and chemical, with a relatively strong projection, not so much the scent itself but the sharpness of it, but delicious and girly nonetheless. It reminds me of Meow by Katy Perry, with more pink fruit. I do find it quite expensive for what it is, however, and although I love the bottle, I think it looks a little cheap.

This is her worst fragrance. It’s disgusting. How people can like this??? Is atrocious. It’s smells exactly like dill… with cheap watery coconut and cheap rose and fart smell.. that dill smell it’s so strong ewwww. Even the layering it doesn’t help

thank u next & ari will always be my fav ari fragrances, i always smelled ari growing up bc when it released my sister had it and she would overspray the heck out of it so it's super nostalgic for me :') anyway foward to 2023 we went on a mall trip i rmr smelling it and i couldn't pinpoint which fragrance it smelled like of hers but i just know it had exact dna from another fragrance and i saw some old posts of ariana comparing it to her of fragrance ari if it went to the beach, and that's literally what this is, just like ari it's super sweet, fruity, and gourmandish, just with an additional coconut + macaron note. this was my first fragrance that got me into perfumes so i may have some bias towards it but this has been such a staple for me and it's gotten me sooo many compliments, it's the sweetest fruitiest coconutty perfume ever. ik since it has a coconut note this perfume seems more fitted for summer but it shines so much in the cold , it turns super airy and sugary and musky. i wish people gave this perfume a chance and let it play out on their skin, i think ppl read reviews saying it smells like pickles that's the first thing they think of when they spray it, i will admit it's a little sour but it's that tart raspberry mixing with the coconut. i think you have to like super sugary sweet perfumes to like this. forever will be my fav tied with ari :')!!!! 🥥🍐

I think every nose is different; some people love it, while others feel their stomach turn when they smell it. I fall into the latter camp. I tried hard to like both this one and the 2.0 version, but honestly, it just didn't work out; the fragrance itself is extremely sweet, and both versions have a terrible plastic like smell in the dry down. It’s really not a good idea to wear this in the heat I find it unbearable on myself. I might smell it on someone else and think it’s nice, but on me? No. For some reason, it’s simply repulsive.

So sad because I wanna like this one but all I smell is dill. Other than that it smells good. Definitely don't wanna walk around smelling like a pickle all day (no matter how much I love them) D:

My little sister used to looooooove this perfume. Whenever her bedroom door was open, the whole hallway smelled like marshmallows and fruit. Personally, I've never had a pickle association with this perfume.

unfortunately I wore this like twice before all i could smell was pickles. I love pickles but I do not want it as a perfume. spraying this on myself feels equivalent to spraying pickle juice.

On me, this smells like a hybrid of different fragrances by Jérôme Epinette, which isn't a bad thing for me. I get: sandalwood and vanilla from Poets of Berlin (which smells a lot like Wild Vanilla Orchid), raspberry blossom and vanilla from Wonderland Peony and musk from Sundazed. I also get some pear (inspired by Quentin Bisch and Sonia Constant's La Belle) and a bit of macaron and musk from (Beyoncé's Heat) and Lollipop Splash Vision of Love. I like this, but.... it smells very familiar to others....

Literal Pinacolada. Coconut and fruity pineapple🥥🍍🌺. Smells exactly like Sol de janero 48. I remember it right away because i used to obsessed with Sdj48, used it everyday for months. Love it but could be overpowering if used to much.

@Maetel I've seen reviews of this from all over the world stating they smell pickles with this. It's not a USA thing. I'm from the US and have had this scent for a few years now & I've never gotten the pickle smell with it. But everyone's experience with a fragrance is valid. I'm just glad I can enjoy this scent. ;)

Idk where y'all find this pickles juice note, i'm not picking up any. Maybe pickles are sweeter in the usa, but over here they smell very salty, herbal and vinegary which is the opposite of this frag. My bf said thay it smells rather like the juice from a fruit salade from a middle school lunch meal and i think he's onto something.

Beautiful in the bottle, but evaporated into a faint baked good scent on my skin. Was really hoping the coconut and raspberry would shine through.

Top sweet and cloying. Not for me.

I get raspberry, coconut sugar, and slight musk. It's definitely reminiscent of pink raspberry or strawberry refrigerated almondy macarons in the base.there's a lactonic vibe here. I dont get any pickles or any green-ness from this. It's an easy reach every day scent. The dry down is an addictive buttery and toasted coconut.

A little generic smelling to me. Not horrible but for the money I would spend it elsewhere. Sweet, coconut, a little floral undertone. All those things sound good but it's not well executed here. You're paying for the name

juicy and sweet. maybe a little immature, but still iconic

I got a sample of this and loved it, so I bought a full bottle. But when I started wearing the full bottle I absolutely hated it, there was a prominent plastic note that I kept getting, which I think might be from the coconut. I am letting it settle for now because I still want to make it work, but it's really a let down to have such a different experience with a full bottle.

My expectations were low, but this is even more mediocre than anticipated. There was a hint of something interesting in the first few seconds, but it almost immediately disappeared and left behind a highly synthetic and bland smell of generic sweetness. Luckily the longevity is almost as poor as the scent itself, so it was soon all gone. No thank you. Next!

Beautiful soft bedtime after shower fragrance. I get absolutely no pickle notes lol. I’m getting the most out of the middle notes. I’d liken this more to coconut milk, soft vanilla, rose, and a smooth sugar. So warm on my skin. Let the initial spray settle and it’s such a nice feminine musk. Kinda sexy-cute. Soft girl aesthetic. I really like it. I love this and qissa delicious for a cozy fragrant sweet skin smell.

i dont smell the pickles or gasoline personally. i use this one at night as like a pillow perfume. it is very calming and very nice to smell in my opinion. i like the sweetness to it. it feels like youre in a candy world.. in a good way.
