Wanted by Night

This fragrance smells sort of like a more citrus & cinnamon take on apple pie, not super gourmand though. The opening is a bit synthetic/harsh, but after 20-45 minutes it becomes better. A few more hours in it gets less sweet and more sophisticated, sort of like a fruity & woody tasting cigarette, in a good way. It’s a perfect date night fall fragrance, it also works in the winter too, but I think the cinnamon makes it more fall leaning Final rating: 9.7/10, an Apple note would make it perfect Side note: may require a few months for the opening to get less harsh at first

A solid designer for cooler weather. Probably the most “mature” and gritty in the Wanted line. In my opinion, the most underrated and only one worth owning.

Can anyone who still has the old version give their two cents on how the new version compares?

I got a tester bottle because it was it was cheaper. All i got is fresh cinnamon. I don't find any sweetness or anything. Dry down is a oudy tabacco or something but it is very weak. No idea if it because of it is a tester bottle that wasn't stored properly or what but this is what i get. I think it is a good for the day even night during the summer eventho i have no idea if someone would want to wear it. Maybe bottle will change but for now this is my opinion. It is ok P.s. bottle is hideous. Design is ok but that cheap plastic is a big no no for me. I don't think I will be getting another azzaro frag

After reading all the reviews, I thought I must have gotten a bad sample. All I really get is this overpowering, non-descriptive red fruit candy smell, maybe a little bit of spiciness as it dries down. It’s fine, but very meh. it’s very youthful, like the first fragrance you’d get as a teenager. Smells very reminiscent of the things kids sprayed on in the locker room back in 9th grade. Glad people like it, but it’s not for me.

Tester strip review: I can't help but keep on wanting to smell it. On the strip it is lovely, very grown up, mature, woody with some spices, combined with an assortment of citrus. Smells complex, sophisticated and fairly elegant. Reminds me of older parfums that were popular in your mothers or grandmothers day. I can't really speak to that exact notes that dominate the scent, as my nose knowledge is quite limited, but I wish I knew the main notes or accords that dominated this without looking, because it's a smell style I would like to know more about. Definitely recommend it for anyone developing a more complex pallet, for me this is a journey towards more divisive and complex fragrances.

Phenomenal warm spicy scent, great for fall and winter wear, and potentially early spring, as well. Longevity and sillage are both solid, not too overpowering. Will be buying another bottle once mine runs out.

Wow, this one caught me by surprise. It was on sale for $50 at Macys so I figured it would be mid, but it’s amazing. It has this spicy, slightly soapy scent that is totally different from the other wanted flankers. Performance is really solid too. I’ve since bought a backup bottle because this needs to be a permanent part of my collection.

I love the Most Wanted Parfum, and wanted to give this a test. I'll be honest, on the first test strip from my local shop, I really didn't like it. I found it a bit too harsh. After a couple of weeks of seeing all the great reviews of it, I gave it another chance, both on a strip and on my skin. Again, at first I wasn't a fan, yet found myself being pulled back to it to smell again and again throughout the afternoon. By the evening, I had started to really enjoy the scent and found it quite intriguing. Got myself a bottle and now I love it. I still find that it opens a bit harsh, but after about 10-15 minutes, that harshness fades away to reveal a beautifully complex, deep, and mature masculine dry down. Once the smooth woodyness comes through, with that hint of smoke from the tobacco and an occasional kick of citrus, it becomes almost addictive, and a fragrance I have really started to appreciate. Was definitely a grower for me, and I would encourage anyone who isn't sure about it to give it another couple of tests and let it mature a bit.

young-ish guy mass appealing, opening fruity note felt synthetic but once it dries down and mixes its sweet spircy fruity cinammon kind of reminds me of burberry hero in the dry down/base

I wanted to love this. I really do like the scent dna: warm, resinous, slightly sweet and boozy tobacco. But performance after reformulation is disappointing. Not bad at all, I actually do like it, but you and I can do better at this price.

The first note that hit me when I first sprayed this was the cypress - and that’s not a negative, but I found with the cinnamon and citrus it gives the opening a tangy metallic accord. However I find what really makes this is the vanilla. It’s not overdone and brings out the “fruity notes”, but I definitely wouldn’t call this a sweet fragrance. Leather is there too but nowhere near as strong and unpleasant as in Forever Wanted. Good mature and masculine scent, nice blend and surprisingly works in cooler weather. Moderate sillage but pretty good longevity. Suggested deodorant: Lynx Leather & Cookies

If you want to smell nice this is the one for you just don't wear in summer

Very good for a date night or even just going out with friends But i dont get the crazy performance i see people suggesting On my skin maybe 6-7 hours It does project very well though 9/10

Hated this for a while when i first got it due to the polarity combination of incense, lavender, and spice. Now my brain just tunes it out or the perfume matured for the better, but either way i really enjoy the entirety of the wear. Love the wanted dna.

Super sweet but more fresh than most wanted and intense. 100% unisex . Bought 3 or 4 from this line for my man and for myself. Great date night Fragrances fellas!

God I hate this so much it is way too sweet makes me feel sick. I have over 200 bottles fragrances collection and would reach for anyone of them over this.I tried to like it I really did.I know there are fans of this but it's a huge NO for me.

Wanted by Night is a gorgeous fragrance. The combination of warm spices and vanilla with undertones of fruit and a hint of citrus all combine beautifully together. It makes for a very pleasant extremely easy wearing fragrance that while it isn’t the most complex or original, is amazing. It is in that perfect area of simple but interesting, easy wearing but not plain or boreing. Performance wise Wanted by Night unfortunately suffers a little on the longevity side of things. I got 5 hours of wear time on my skin and about 6 on my clothes. A solid 5/10 here. Projection wise Wanted by Night was quite amazing for the first 2 hours, raising nicely off my skin and projecting just outside my arms length. Unfortunately after the first 2 hours projection absolutely tanked, dropping to a very close skin scent. A 7/10 here. Overall I really enjoyed Wanted by Night, it’s a very pleasent take on the sweet spice and vanilla side of the fragrance world. The fruit notes with the hint of citrus are a lovely addition to this type of fragrance. It’s a solid 7/10 for me. It’s an easy wearing less complex sweet spicy fragrance that feels like an easy daily grab.

Date night/Winter night out, and don't want to smell like every other guy. Get this. Smells fantastic, Masculine and mature. A little goes a long way with this stuff. I don't know why it's slept on compared to the lineup, but glad it is.

Way,way to sweet for me so over powering

Es el nuevo integrante de mi colección, cuando lo probé en tienda simplemente supe que tenía que comprarlo, es un aroma varonil con personalidad que no fatiga el olfato, muy buen balance entre personalidad y limpieza, recomendaría usarlo en salidas a bares o cenas con alguien que quieras volver a ver, ya que si bien cuenta con una composición de varios elementos logra completarlos de manera perfecta. Simplemente un complemento perfecto para alguien que busca oler varonil sin dejar denso el aire, limpio con personalidad.

This is a solid mature fragrance that’s suited for cold weather, mainly fall/winter nights imo. It’s smoky, spicy, and resinous with a touch of sweetness. It can come off as being too strong, so go light on the sprays. Great longevity (I get around 9-10 hours on my skin), good sillage (as long as you spray in moderation), and a good value for the price.
