Don't know if some people are more susceptible to nose blindness from Ambroxan than others or if its a matter of skin chemistry, but this is one of the most projecting niche fragrances I've smelled recently.

Lafayette Street is a very easy to wear scent. I definitely see this being a dumb reach winter fragrance. If you’re a person who cares about compliments this is definitely the one. I would say it falls in the same space with ysl myself and Xerjoff Uden but it’s slightly different and better than the two.

Really nice! I can't speak on the performance yet, as I haven't thoroughly tried and tested it, but I wanted to leave a note on one of the "this perfume reminds me of" comparisons - Parle Moi de Parfum's "Wake Up World". They do indeed smell similar. The same ballpark. Maybe even playing for the same team, but they aren't one for one. WUW isn't a direct copy or clone of this. Redundant to own both, for sure, but there are subtle enough differences to where I'd recommend testing/sampling both and then seeing which you prefer. Lafayette St. probably smells just a *tiny* bit better, to my nose. Just a *little* bit sweeter, with a more noticeable vanilla touch that makes it more approachable and instantly likeable right off the first spray. WUW is definitely less playful in its opening. But as a proud owner of a WUW bottle, I'm content with having a full bottle of that and a 10ml travel spray of Lafayette. I don't see the need to own both or swap out my bottle of WUW for a bottle of Lafayette. But overall, a very good, unique, sweet but somehow "clean" and casual/versatile everyday fragrance.

When I saw some influencers say that this one is a clone of Sculpture Homme from Nikos (which I own) I thaught meh , this must be like a more refined and niche version of that one (that costs like 25 bucks), then I got a decant of this one and when I sprayed it OMG, ITS LITERALLY THE SAME SMELL , WTF. No better performance, no better refinement, just the same

Анонім★★★★★

This is a nice fragrance but the performance ain’t justifying the price tag at £330, this is Guerlain territory, Amouage etc. Ill probably buy 10 ml decants from time to time as its not too pricey. I’ll enjoy my 10 ml decants as of now.

I lost my pw to the forum. I only retrieved it so l could write this review. This is straight up cleaning detergent. I couldn’t put my finger on it but someone mentioned AJAX spray. This is vile! A pure chemical mess. I was hoping it would calm down and change but still household cleaning chemicals. Just spray AJAX and save yourself money.

Easy to wear, mediocre performance, fresh&sweet, drydown is similar to Althair in my opinion. Not sure why the hate, it smells really good. Tonka , Vanilla, Citruses are the most prominant notes to me, the opening is extremely sexy, the pricetag isn't.

Ambergris is heavy not a f

Too synthetic. Not good enough. There are alot better fragrances that do its purpose.

Versatile, although I don't enjoy wearing it in the high heat. It has a woody aroma that, while smells great, makes it more fitting for the other three seasons. One of those frags that I get a whiff of something different every time I smell it. Sometimes I catch the florals, other times it's amber/woody. 8.5/10

To me, it's like you took reflection man, gave it a little sweetness and then put it on top of a clean barbershop-y fougere base. Don't think of the fougere element as being dominant though, it very much sits in the background. It's pretty good. My first encounter with this DNA was Montale Woods & Spices which is a fragrance I dislike quite a bit. So why do I enjoy this one? Probably the added brightness, airyness and sweetness. Unfortunately it does still evoke memories of the Montale, and that's probably the one thing keeping it as a like and not a love for me. This gets zero points for originality though. At the end of the day, it's a dupe of a dupe for a ridiculously inflated price. Bond no. 9 should be ashamed. If you want to save some money, just go for GoS Wildcard or Nikos Sculpture (the OG).

Stuff smells so elite and it works so well with my skin. Absolute confidence booster, every time I smell this I feel like I could finally have the confidence to talk to a woman and escape my chud-like outer layer and flourish into a confident truecel. 10/10

My second favorite Bond No. 9 (first is Bleecker Street). This one is a safe, clean, almost soapy woods and amber and works for most occasions, male or female.

Анонім★★★★★

Smells absolutely incredible, however at least on my skin I swear it's gone within 1-2 hours. Such a shame.

i live near nyc, and i go into nyc a few times a year. i needed a scent that says nyc for when i travel into it. i own bond no. 9's greenwich village, which might be the most popular fragrance from the house, but i'm really not a fan of that, it is overly sweet imo and cloying to my nose. i was looking at lafayette street, which many people say is reminiscent of a luxury shower gel, very similar to a ysl creation. i will be purchasing a full bottle of this soon, and hoping it will be a blind-buy win.

Анонім★★★★★

for around 150$ its alright but getting something like ysl y would probably be better

Анонім★★★★★

Smells tooo generic to be this expensive.Like a mix of ysl y and something with lots of ambroxan.Smells like some expensive shower gel but remove the expensive atp.Super basic safe blind buy but its not worth the price.

I was pretty wowed after trying it at Dillards. Gorgeous. Absolutely gorgeous. The sales associate kept pushing for me to spend $475 for it, and I kept telling him that I needed to walk around to get the full experience. The experience lasted two hours tops. The retail price is obviously ridiculous. No way....

Анонім★★★★★

This would be a huge hit if it was like 100 150 euros. Indeed smells like YSL myslf, AdG or whatever designer hyped similar profile fragrance but better. I would actually wear this a lot if I had one but no way this deserves 400+ euros imo ( in my country at least). I would consider if it was half the price or I would be happy to get as a gift though. There is no way that main accords section is true though. There was no vanilla at all lol ? I am confused. Did I try another fragrance or something

Анонім★★★★★

I am obsessed with Lafayette Street. Such a beautiful scent profile. Reminds me a little bit of YSL Myslf but 10x better. Price is not it though. But great scent nonetheless

I was very kindly gifted this for my birthday yesterday, and this may be a bit extreme to say after only one wear and a day of smelling it, although I think this is my favourite fragrance of all time, already . This is just my opinion - my nose - to me, this is like JPG Le Male Le Parfum but just much more easily wearable . Now for a long time Le Parfum has been probably my favourite, and definitely my most complimented fragrance, but this just takes that vibe and makes it sweeter yet less cloying, more accessible to suit any age range and more striking . Maybe it's too early for me to declare all of this, and maybe in future I'll regret it, but this is just a 10/10 all timer fragrance, and only after a day, I cant see myself being without it .

This is a really nice fresh floral scent in its opening. But its surprisingly strong prolly due to the vanilla and ambroxan, its genuinely addictive 😭. I would honestly wear this in spring and summer nights and anytime in winter or fall

Анонім★★★★★

On the open - you get floral, a very strong floral scent with a touch of lime and a moderate amount of musk....Very strong even after 20 minutes... On the dry down - apple and vanilla. The overall feel: it's a good fragrance if worn (sprayed) conservatively because it will project in the first hours and could be overpowering. Definitely suggest not blind buying it, but trying a decant first. This may be too strong in my opinion as a daily wear especially in the spring and summer seasons, but definitely more fitting for colder seasons and evening wear.

SKRaight UP smells like some heavenly laundry blessed with a angels kiss of sweetness and grape, then turns into a soft vanilliac amber scent that rests close to the skin. It is truly a beautiful and complex scent that makes you feel elevated, I cannot stop aggressively sniffing myself when wearing. 9.8/10

You wash your laundry in Jesus’s washing machine. This is his detergent

I’m extremely tough on reviews but this one here I don’t care, this juice is incredible. I’ve had Allure Homme way back in 2009 but that had spotty longevity this hits hard. First spray is strong but this mellows out. Who cares about the comparisons if you like this wear in and with confidence. You’ll feel confident, ladies love it, grown modern sexy scent. Think a way less powdery less musky Fleur Du Male that more masculine. Similar to Reflection Man too which is an alternative because that fragrance is incredible too along with Uden but Uden only comes in a 1.7oz bottle. And RM sometimes comes off as too floral but those do start out smoother than Lafayette Street but LS has the ammunition and the appeal, smoothens out after 15 minutes. Not masterful but a damn great scent. 9/10

Анонім★★★★★

Smells nauseating to me, would never buy again.

Анонім★★★★★

only judging by the luxe dupe, its nice but its apple citrus tonka bean dna is reminiscent of deodorant or toiletries. as it settles down a slight sweet musk and woodiness create a creamy smoothness, it gets fuller and after about an hour it smells like something i would actually consider wearing., but until then its just overly masculine for me. it would be cute on someone else

I bought a bottle of this a year ago. I liked it (my first Bond No. 9), but just rarely wear it. If someone would like it and has a trade they'd like to make, let me know. I live in the U.S.
