I've had Quatre for a few months now and I have to say it's been my daily driver for a large part of the spring and early summer. Does it transport me to some fantastical place due to its evocative scent story? No. Does it wow me with the unique way it's composed and develops on my skin? Also no. But I spray it on in the morning and it smells fucking divine and that is enough for me to love it. Straight off the bat it opens as this fresh, well-blended mix of crisp citruses, sweet fruit and florals. It's not the kind of perfume where I can easily pick apart the notes, instead it's just this radiant and uplifting pop of freshness that puts a little spring in my step. It's worth noting that the citrusy notes remain for quite a while, well over the initial opening, reminding me slightly of Chanel's Gabrielle (which, honestly, is another similar perfume that does not wow me but is simply easy to wear, radiant and fresh). After some 20 minutes it settles on my skin as a fresh, spring-like jasmine with a side of light rose and just a bit of fruity sweetness (peach, if I were hard-pressed to identify it). Base notes are well balanced and just as light, primarily cashmerean and some musk. On a blotter the caramel and vanilla become more apparent and I'm grateful they stay low on my skin as I truly appreciate the lightness and freshness of the scent all throughout the drydown. Overall it stays on my skin for a solid 4 hours with a low to moderate sillage even when I spray it quite heavily. I've had a couple of friends compliment it and I'm always so ridiculously happy to tell them how affordable it is!
This was a blind buy for me, it smells good but it wasn't my style at all. I would describe this as a social fragance, it projects a lot and its a very simple and pleasant scent. Its very feminine and light. Its simple but not cheap, it smells like someone feminine, elegant and clean. I personally dont smell the apple or the strawberry. Its very floral, lots of jasmine and a bit of rose. The citrus is well blended so dont expect a fruity scent. Once its dry it smells a bit soapy, i'm guessing its the musk. I dont really smell the caramel and vanilla though. Overall its a very floral and light perfume, great for spring and summer. If you like soft, elegant, feminine floral scents you'll probably like this one.
This one is a very basic, everyday scent, formal, for office in a very good price. Once I will run out of those I have currently, I might give it a try for everyday office use. (Had a small tester).
Jasmine forward for sure - not a delicate jasmine either. This jasmine reminds me a lot of the jasmine and other white florals of the 80s just big big big! That's not to say this feels "dated" but it definitely feels "classic" as opposed to trendy, and I really like that. The citrus keeps it fresh and not too overly heavy and there is some sweetness in the background.. just a touch! I could easily see this being compared to j'adore or one of the flankers, but it's significantly less heavy than the OG j'adore. Pretty, classy, timeless. Not an "OMG" for me but definitely something I'd recommend to someone looking for something pretty & inoffensive who loves white florals.
I was gifted this on women’s day. This is an okay fragrance very basic , all i can smell is citrus and jasmine, it smells fresh and good for summer . Edit : i like this , it’s very easy to wear and refreshing and mood uplifting
This is truly a ring light of a fragrance that gladly takes the back seat and lets me shine in my best angles without taking the stage or making a statement. It also gets me in a very sparkly, sunny mood. It's one of those gems that seem so generic and forgettable at first sniff.
Boucheron Quatre is a beautiful fragrance. It did not leave an overwhelmingly strong impression on me, mainly because I find it slightly lacking in depth; however, I am not complaining in the slightest. It remains an elegant and well-crafted creation. The opening is very citrusy, bright, and particularly pleasant. The blend of lemon and orange is delightful. It brings a crisp, slightly sharp quality, with a subtle touch of bitterness - perhaps from the green apple. It is undoubtedly the jasmine that stands as the true protagonist of the composition. Peach, strawberry, and rose introduce a romantic, almost youthful dimension. In the drydown, I perceive something slightly woody, supported by musk and cashmere, creating a clean impression. Especially on clothing, the musk and cashmere notes become more prominent. It is a beautiful, gentle, slightly romantic fragrance. It would be perfect for a romantic date, yet it can also work very well in a professional setting, as it conveys a controlled softness. I purchased it at an exceptionally good price, and it fully deserves its place in my collection. PS: After a few weeks, the fragrance has improved significantly; it has gained more roundness and depth.
This is a clean citrusy scent great for day wear during warm weather.it doesn’t smell natural but it is classy and elegant. It has huge projection and silage and for some reason gets me the most compliments. Every single time I wear this someone tells me how good I smell. I stop smelling it on myself after a few hours but others don’t so I assume it’s long lasting. You can get it for a very reasonable price online.
I bought it hoping it would actually remind me of Loewe Solo. I can see the notes, but to me, the scents are completely different. Boucheron is a citrusy (top notes + apple) soap (jasmine) on me.
Do u believe that I don’t get any jasmine Literally no jasmine not even hints all i get is fruits and citruses I wish I could get jasmine it would be one of my signature fragrances
I love this perfume. Constantly complimented
I didn’t expect myself to love this one because I don’t like citrusy scents but my friend made me try it and I had déjà vu .. it’s exactly how my L’Oréal glycolic gloss shampoo smells like! I was looking for a similar scent and I found it by accident (you really attract what you desire) What I love about it is that it open with a soft citrusy smell (not harsh or cologne like) then it leans fruity and settles on vanilla, cashmeran and caramel which makes it so delicate and comforting, it’s perfect for morning and uni (especially if you’re studying a health related major) it’s so easy to wear and sensitive nose friendly I can’t imagine someone getting overwhelmed from a soft scent like this which is a big advantage. Definitely will be my next purchase.
What sticks out is the citrusy smell, I purchased it as a blind buy and its one of the least favorite perfumes I have ever had. Its very meh. Maybe you can wear it for work as it is very weak and neutral. But not recommended.
A floral, fruity, delicate, very elegant and sophisticated fragrance. It has a clean, comfortable orange top note, and you can immediately smell the citrus notes of this non-aggressive orange. Within seconds, you'll notice the presence of jasmine, which is the perfume's main protagonist. The jasmine truly takes over, making this perfume very pleasant. The fragrance has a freshness of fruit juice, mixed with this white florality, and as the perfume dries on the skin, the musk takes over, leaving it very velvety. At this point, the subtle presence of vanilla and caramel emerges, embracing all the other notes in a balanced way, giving the perfume a creamy and sweet touch, all in the right measure. The sensation is like a very refined shampoo. It has excellent longevity and projection on my skin, but it's not at all invasive; it's delicate, yet still a striking scent. A versatile perfume that can be worn for any occasion or season. I'm delighted!
This is my go to for summer. Fresh, tart and light. It reminds me of fresh laundry which is not a bad thing in warm weather. Floral and always pleasant even though it is not a standout fragrance. It's the kind of perfume you put on and forget about on a pleasant summer's day.
Beautiful soft floral. Soft, gentle, refined, cosy. Sophisticated (in a soft way). Unfortunately it contains some sort of fixative that lingers long after the flowers have faded to a gentle whisper. The fixative won’t be scrubbed off, no matter what you do with it. For that reason I probably won’t be buying a full-size bottle.
It was a blind buy because I saw the ingredients and hoped for the best. Well, I sold my bottle on Ebay within a week. That's probably all I have to say... LOL Well, it's a rather sweet and stingy fragrance that gave me headache. Jasmine and apple is huge no-go for me. It only smells good and fresh for the first two seconds, then it turns into something that's not so fresh and pretty sweet and annoying. Since I also dislike Donna Karan's apple-fragrances, it all comes together somehow. It's pretty much the same phenomenon like with Trussardi's Donna EdT. The first notes are so incredibly fresh and soft-fruity, luminous, amazing. And then it quickly turns into something boringly sweet-solar-woody that is just not my taste and doesn't match the headnote.
This smells so much better in hot weather. I thought that my taste had changed because this smelt kinda sharp and annoying to me a couple months ago, but now during 30C+ weather it's become my fave again. The citruses make the scent smell fresh and clean without veering into that cleaning product territory. It's kinda like walking into a florist's cooler room on a hot day, very refreshing and pleasant.
A bright scent suitable for everyday use, fragrant with mixed fruits, and when dry, it's more fragrant than the delicate white flowers, with a beautiful, refreshing sour appearance But for me, after 10 minutes of smell, this is the scent of jasmine in southern Asia that I've been looking for because when I visit a temple in South Asia, I get the fresh, fragrant jasmine scent. This is the true scent of jasmine. 10/10
Boucheron Quatre is a timeless favorite for me — a fragrance I enjoy all year round 🌸☀️🍂❄️. It’s elegant, modern, and very easy and pleasant to wear. Whether it’s a warm summer day or a crisp winter evening, Quatre always feels right. Effortless, versatile, and subtly classy — a scent that never overwhelms, but always impresses 💫💎
This is a lovely perfume - a nice, pleasing fruity floral. It reminds me of a fruitier version of SJP Prive and while it seems like a mostly warmer weather fragrance, I think this could be great year round as a daily or work scent.
It's a very complex perfume. Fruity and floral, having a good energy. However for me it smelled quite artificial and gave me a headache.
It’s alright, don’t get me wrong, but I was not expecting this type of scent from this pyramid. To my nose, this feels a little old-school/vintage/your mom’s perfume type of fragrance. The opening and middle notes are a little synthetic imo, some whips of this perfume smell really beautiful and other whips smell almost headache inducing and very perfumey, so much so that you straight up want to wash it off. I’d wear it outside and would not overspray. I recommend smelling it somewhere before buying. Longevity and sillage are really good though. Really sad it’s not 100% my scent profile. Overall: 7/10
a Crowd pleaser fragrance, it reminds me of some lanvin perfumes (marry me and also girl in capri)
Will this change with time? Would appreciate some feedback from users who have used it a while. I opened a new bottle in spring and found it harsh. Now I tried it for the second time but I still find it harsh. First time I spreyed I though it could be a synthetic citrus but the second time I sprayed I realized that it is the strong jasmin and citrus combo that gives this the harsh opening, so I really hope this gets better with time (had a similar situation with Rumeur 2 rose - now it is lovely) In general opens harshly, then gets more citrusy but after an hour our so goes full fresh white floral. As it is now I don't really like it but the high rating is making me hope it will change. Update: Finally, after 6 months it no longer smells synthetic, it is a nice citrus and floral combo with a slight tint of sweetness. Thank goodness!
What a gorgeous fragrance! This was recommended by a YouTuber and this is exactly how it was described! Absolutely beautiful! This could easily be a signature scent! The citruses in the top aren’t overly sharp, they’re well grounded by the juicy peach, jasmine and rose! Stunning! And the base is warm and sophisticated. The projection is great! Not too big, not too small. I am thrilled with this and I love the Quatre bottles!!
Nice, very citrusy( not detergent smelling or anything like that) and floral. It reminds me of a modern, lighter and def more wearable version of Rare Gold by Avon ( I had that and was unbearable to me, it's too heavy on the jasmine for my taste and too much vintage smelling). I would still say this creation has a vintage touch but it dosen't bother me. I detect very clearly the citruses and the fruits ( apple/strawberry) in the first couple of minutes, abd then a floral accord ( manly jasmine) wich I'm not a huge fan of in this stage, but then after 10/15 min the floral part becomes more distinct and I can finally smell the rose. Great for spring and summer. edit: after 2 months from the first sprays the "vintage" leaning part wich I was not a big fan of, I can no longer detect now. So I'm even more happy now with this beautiful gem
Pleasant fresh citrussy scent, with touch of jasmine, soft musk and dab of vanilla. Gentle doses of all these supporting citrus freshness. Citrus bath shower. Spring like in spirit. Excellent for warmer summer weather. Moderate silage, decent lasting power. It stays even throughout the whole time, it doesn't smell up even with me sprinting thru the city on a hot spring days with summer like temps. Got a great deal price wise during my Euro trip. Boucheron name I don't see much in North America, glad to revisit this excellent brand and great buy in this case.
I got it today and oh my it's beautiful so elegant 😍 long lasting and it gives vintage vibes. Highly recommend it, specially if u love Jasmine
A wonderful clean, fresh fragrance for spring and summer - even into fall. It lasts surprisingly a long time on me - over 12 hours, and on my clothes for a couple of days. It is never cloying, but smells as though I stepped out a shower. I purchased a bottle several weeks ago and have worn it for several days. It opens with a citrusy, fruity opening, but settles into a very smooth floral with light musk. While it seems to lean a bit feminine, a guy could pull this off easily.
