Very Y2K! In my mind, this is the perfume that Aquamarine would wear in the 2006 movie. Aquatic, white floral, and sweet. It’s a scent that never overwhelms me and it is so affordable! I can't imagine my collection without it🧜🏻♀️

It was my favorite when I was 15 and it’s still my favorite at 36. I can’t get enough!

Back when Curious was first released, I was a senior in high school and treasured this perfume. While the newer formula is good, it honestly doesn’t have the same magical quality that I remember about the original. Still very wearable though and easy to enjoy if you like shampoo scents. Specifically, it reminds me of the way hair smells after it’s been washed with Pantene shampoo and conditioner. (Disclaimer, sometimes I like to use this brand. I’m low-maintenance about my hair products.) Sometimes it’s comforting to just spray on something that feels so familiar.

Reminds me of my best friend, who used to have a bottle of this as a kid. The magnolia really stands out in this Curious, though it is also quite fruity, and slightly powdery. It also smells slightly synthetic, but in a good way. Almost feeds into the fact that this fragrance was one made for a popstar.

I love this scent! I had a bottle as a kid, and while I liked it, it wasn't my favorite. Ad an adult I recently bought a bottle again for the nostalgia. It's very clean and fresh smelling, appropriate for a hot summer day.

She is THAT clean girl scent. Clean, but not boring at all. The pear, magnolia and jasmine notes pop on me the most.

This is a really underrated perfume! It smells fresh and clean like a shampoo with the light scent of white flowers and a hint of pear. It is sweet and girly and is perfect in spring. Or anytime you want to smell fresh, sweet and clean.

This one will forever be iconic. It stands out of other celebrity perfumes as it's not too sweet and smells like an actual perfume and not some fruity mists for teenagers. The bottle is really pretty too, I wish they relaunched it with the original spray pump though.

This is a Britney frag I do not care for. I think it has a sharp musk note to it that lessens after drydown but still carries through. A shame because I like most of her others

Got several bottles of this. This is iconic and first perfume I got myself, a signature at the start of my journey. When launched it came in spray format, but the biggest had the fancy atomiser. It was bad because it broke halfway on me and also allowed the scent to evaporate and spoil faster. Since it was my only perfume I’d use it up before it would turn, but the juice did get more thick at the end. I’d screw the top cap back as it was sold and used it as splash bottle. I would then seek the 100 ml tester with a spray. No wonder it was a hit with me since I got that chemistry that makes these white florals smell divine on me. This also packed freshness and aqua fantasy paradise vibe with it. A gentle sillage, never too overpowering. Also I had two different versions: made in France (more floral fresh, smoother profile), made in USA (more punchy fruity note in it). The oldest 15 ml one has clear liquid, but the scent is broken. Another 30 ml looks like early 2010 still intact and very potent and dense scent. Mid 201x bottle has still decent formulation and metal like sprayer. 2020 bottle with blue plastic sprayer is a diluted mess worse than body spray. 6 years macerating and still not stronger than a body spray. Charms: first formula had charms with crystal chain, then there were charms with just ball chain and then nothing. I hope (dreams) Give back beauty will restore this beauty to its former formula and charms with crystals be back please. I don’t care about bargain I’d pay more for better quality, hellooo? This and original Fantasy, Believe are amazing scent profiles! It’s been 18 years since I came upon this site when searching where to get this perfume online btw.

My bottle is a few years old by now, still smells so pretty! Pairs well with Avon’s Odessy, both are like a clean classic white soap.

Calming, slightly aquatic white floral. Great value for the price point and not overly sweet - especially compared to other celebrity frags that I've tried! Sophisticated but still playful. Ideal for hot weather due to its refreshing scent profile and weak longevity + sillage. Might last longer on clothes, but disappears pretty quickly on my skin, unfortunately!

A lovely Britney scent that gets lost in the shuffle, and which often lives in the shadow of the dozens of Fantasy flankers. Curious is Britney Spears's first steps into the fragrance world. Beautiful white floral meets soapy clean y2k vibes. It's half Elizabeth Arden, half early Britney Spears. On my skin, this is beautiful. Lasts about six hours, during which the blend of white florals is quite lovely & airy. A scent no one will complain about, but which Fantasy clearly outdoes, both in performance & projection.

Lowkey Valaya dupe? or am I crazy. Definetely very fresh scent, surprisingly unisex dare I say. Doesn't last on me too long I think but very affordable I don't mind carrying it in my purse and respray throughout the day. Very different to rest of the celebrity fragrances in my opinion

Anyone else smells mostly the tuberose? For me it's in this order: tuberose, magnolia, lotus, jasmine and the rest. I have a very sensitive nose to tuberose so that might explain it. The tuberose here is so beautiful, not cloying at all. Thankfully!

Such an amazing sweet but fresh & aquatic scent. So so perfect for summer beach days...tuberose perfumes never disappoint. Bought the body mist a few years ago and loved it sm that I actually finished it. Ofc got the perfume sometime last year. Don't think I could ever get sick of this scent. Love love loveee!!!

I'm surprised gardenia isn't listed because after the initial magnolia blast, it smells exactly like Elizabeth Taylor's gardenia. One of my best purchases

Curious has a nice aquatic opening, but the drydown is a dated (to me) white floral that almost reminds me of JLo Glow. I liked both of these fragrances but now the white florals and synthetics give me a headache. Sadly decluttering but honestly not a bad purchase for the right person!

i found this at ross for $12 and immediately grabbed it since i had it in my want list. i'd been looking for something similar to water lily springs from b&bw but stronger and i'm pleased to say i've found it, plus it's much sweeter. this scent gives me a strange nostalgia that i can't quite put my finger on, as if every sniff merges all my beach memories together. it reminds me of watching h2o just add water as a kid learning english. i live somewhere with a tropical climate so i can't wait to wear this at the beach whenever i get the chance. to me it's definitely the fragrance of a mermaid yearning to be on land 𐔌*ˊᵕˋ*𐦯

I almost decluttered this and am so happy I didn't. It's SO good in spring time! Dainty light, sweet, clean, musky floral. Doesn't last long, but it's what - $10? I've been reapplying it all day! Edit: Ugh, it broke me out bad on my arms and chest. Gotta apply to clothes only. Only perfume that's irritated my skin.

This is one I have had in my collection since the early 2000s and I still love it. It has such a fresh and aquatic smell to it. It's perfect for spring and summer. It has decent longevity on me, but not great. I would say maybe 4 hours. People often compliment me when I wear it! You really can't go wrong at this price point for something fresh and clean for summertime.

I love how it smells in the air if it makes sense. The bottle is gorgeous even without the charm and it looks beautiful in my bathroom where I can use it as an air freshener and then I can't get enough of it. If I spray it on myself I again love feeling the initial burst of it but I don't like how it smells on my skin after just spraying it at all (I've just tried it after the shower before bed). A bit later it is less plasticy floral and more like aquatic pear on my skin and I don't hate it. I feel like it doesn't really stay on clothes. I will try to wear it out on a hot day during summer.

This scent is a fresh, aquatic, floral dream. It’s a perfect spring or summer scent, I love the lotus and jasmine notes. Very girly with the light floral focus, not too sweet, and definitely not cloying. I personally wish it lasted longer but it’s definitely a must buy for the price.

I was extremely impressed with this scent; it was super aquatic and fresh and smelled very summery; I would almost want it even stronger and deeper.

If only this had better longevity and sillage!! I love this scent but I feel like it disappears after the second spray. But god, it smells so good! I didn't think I was floral was for me but the lotus and jasmine mix so well that I think I've got to switch sides. The only reason it's not a love is the longevity. I wish it was a little stronger, but I find that feminine scents somehow don't smell as strong as masculine.

This is wayyy more fruity than people make it out to be. Smells like sweet, musky pear and florals, but not as aquatic as I expected. I do like it, wish it did smell like a pool like people said, though!

This is a gorgeous everyday feminine yet not over the top or overpowering fragrance. When I smell it, I imagine a woman in her early 20s wearing this, wearing a floral miniskirt, a white lace crop-top and white wedges with a juicy couture y2k bag. It’s a beautiful easy-going fresh, aquatic, floral scent that, in my opinion, is most suitable to wear in spring. When I smell this, I envision walking in a luscious park with a lake and you hear the birds chirping at each other and then you go on a gondola and smell the beautiful, subtle, yet distinctive lotus flowers and freshness of the light breeze against your skin combined with the sun delicately hitting your skin. At first spray, you get the juicy, fresh, fruity aroma of the pear combined with the white florals like lotus flower and magnolia which give it a sweet floral touch. Then you get those middle floral notes that give it a more clean white floral scent but isn’t done in a way that’s old lady like or screechy. This includes jasmine, tuberose and cyclamen. Moving on to the base notes, I do smell a hint of sandalwood and I do smell the whitewoods adding an additional complexity to the fragrance without being considered woody, it’s very subtle and hides in the fragrance by blending in with the other floral notes, but I personally do not smell much vanilla. I would definitely not describe this scent as a vanilla scent. The musk is also very subtle and is hardly noticeable. I love this fragrance. It doesn’t smell generic or juvenile and is very affordable. The only disappointment that I have with this fragrance is that it’s very subtle. I have to reapply often and I find it doesn’t last nor can I smell it lingering on my skin or clothes for more than 10 minutes.
