Burberry Brit

Have had the same bottle in my collection since 2014 and after moving my collection into a proper cabinet I decided to give it a go. Gorgeous! So much of what we’re after these days are versions of this — well crafted scent profiles that offer balance and wearability. I’ve got tons of “oddball” profiles and can’t tell you how nice it is to revisit this beauty. Bought myself a backup bottle tonight so I’m all set for fall. Perfect to layer with Vanilla Haze, Bianco Latte and pretty much any other straightforward vanilla. Can see this with Rouge Smoking EDP too!

I love this perfume, although the Eau De Toilette version reigns queen. Such a versatile scent that can be worn any season for any time of day. It's an oldie, but they certainly understood how to shift away from a vintage perfume profile. Not to say 2003 is vintage...but it's closer to that era than we are now. I would categorize this as somewhat of a light gourmand. You don't get cookie and you don't get a tart fruity fruit, but a seamlessly blended floral, almond and pear trail. The EDT is perfect to me, and this version has more of a green opening, but it's still wonderful.

It's nice and comforting, at a good price for what it offers, somewhat similar to Goddess, spicy citrusy vanilla. I would say it's redundant to buy this one if you have Goddess and vice-versa, they both evoke the same warm citrusy vanilla vibe.

It's nice, and unique, but still somehow very boring. To me this says corporate safe, or maybe, like... a preschool teacher? If you want to smell nice and clean without much depth or noticeability, this is a good scent for you.

I fell out of love with this fragrance, sadly. I just feel it's not too strong. Even fragrances that are advertised as being more subdued and intimate perform better than this. Once you spray this, you're hit in the face with citrus, which then dries down to vaguely sweet almond and woody notes. It's an ok fragrance, but there are better Burberry fragrances out there. I bought this at a discount and I'm now seeing it was for a reason.

This is within the same realm of Jimmy Choo Illicit, Rare, Burberry Goddess but a bit sharper. The mix of something in here smells like a spicy ginger and pepper to me which gives it a slight sharpness (perhaps it's lime, yet it doesn't smell like citrus). It's just ok. Dries down a bit more sweeter and clean like almond milk

I got a sample of the Sheer, and I did like it but it was too... sheer. Im thinking about this one, and since its the first of only 6 perfumes in the database to have the note of dragée, Im intrigued. I dont necessarily want all the latest hits I want a classic from all the eras. Brit was not unheard of back when it was released. If you had that kinda money at my age then, and my peer group certainly didnt have Burberry perfume money at that age, so it's new to me.

I love it and I always receive compliments when I'm wearing it. The only con - and it's a big one - is that it's not long lasting it all. It lasts an hour, maybe two, if you're lucky.

It’s ok. If it was the only perfume left on earth I would probably skip it altogether. It’s just boring to me. Also I can’t smell it on myself after a few minutes and I wear perfume for me, not anyone else so if I can’t smell it, I don’t see the point.

As of 2026 this fragrance is completely unisex.

One of my autumn/winter favorites and a true cool-weather classic. I’ve noticed the performance is noticeably better in colder conditions. It has a warm, crisp, and slightly spicy profile that feels very fitting for the season. There are some slight fruity undertones that are more crisp and tart than tropical, and are not obnoxious or overpowering at all. Overall, it offers solid performance for the price and is definitely worth a buy. I do believe this is a beautifully made fragrance that is somewhat underrated. If this perfume were to be released nowadays, it would be considered great. All these notes are popular right now. I still wear it when I am in an almond/sugar mood

I’ve bought this twice. The first time, all I could smell was a sharp lime note and it didn’t match what I was expecting based on reviews, so I let it go. A few years later I repurchased it and appreciated it much more, especially the almond note, which I was really enjoying at the time. Even then, I wasn’t reaching for it much, having a large collection doesn’t help. Now my preferences have shifted towards softer, more natural-smelling fragrances, and this doesn’t quite fit anymore. It does feel like a good entry-level fragrance, but as your collection grows, it’s one that can easily get forgotten. That said, if you enjoy a mix of almond and citrus, it’s still worth checking out.

I was absolutely repulsed by this cologne for some reason. The barbershop smell was just too much, I went to go wash it off immediately after sampling it.

Smells like soap

The top notes are bright and citrusy. I mostly smell lime, which is more than fine because I love lime. The pear and peony creep in after the opening citrus burst, but the lime stubbornly sticks around. I get some amber, with a touch of vanilla, in the base. I cannot detect any almond, which is usually an easy scent to pick out. Brit is a fresh, crisp fragrance. She's the woman strolling through Stratford-upon-Avon wearing a Burberry trench and carrying a Mulberry Bayswater tote: elegant, poised, never in a rush.

Have had this for years as a staple in my fragrance wardrobe. Nothing else smells like this in my collection. Sophisticated and unique- think lime and almond with a little spice. Maybe a touch of vanilla for some creaminess but I can't really pick out that note alone. Something about just feels very British and love it!

There is very little vanilla. It isn’t sweet at all. Smells like cologne.

Got to smell this and it's really nice :-) the tiny bit of remaining perfume on my fingers smelled like a really concentrated almond oil lol, it was strangely nice, even in the perfume itself. The pear and lime are a nice combo too! Very sophisticated yet kinda cute, but i personally think i like the 2015 sheer a lot more, it's a lot fresher, but I'm a sucker for sweet accords anyways so I think this might be nice to have somewhere in the long run. Seems like a nice autumn-y scent

I have to say, I don’t get any sweetness or powdery almond from this perfume. The first thing I smell is lemon 🍐🍋— its tartness and bitterness are crafted very well. Then a bit of pear sweetness is added, balancing the overall scent. For me, it’s tart, bitter, slightly sweet, and even a little reminiscent of tea, even though there’s no tea note listed. And I have to mention — the dry down is heavenly on the skin. I wore it often long ago. As I bought more scents, Brit was forgotten in the cycle of curating and purging my collection, but I never let go 'til the other day. I wore it a last time then traded it. Yet I couldn't help but feel sad as Brit lingered on my coat then left. We all know that remorse. 🎶🎻 You don't know what you got 'til it's gone. The composition of notes have been, then and now, perfectly suitable for someone like me whose style and personality tread between lines; Where comfort, wilful and intense vulnerability, power, intrigue, confidence, control and wholesomeness all meet in the middle to create an inviting sense of ease and balance between feminine and masculine energy. 👀 Now, Brit's back in rotation, bought again for $48 CAD. So much for 'letting go.' She shines when nothing else suits the mood; When you're one-size-fits-most yet still remarkably unlike anyone else. Get it while you can, folks.

Este perfume es una verdadera obra de arte tenemos aquí un limoncito azucarado con una nota de caoba que mezclada junto con la almendra te dan ese olor característico a pay de limón a panquecito de limón literal un postrecito de limón encima de una mesa fina de las mejores maderas de caoba, este perfume es una delicia está a un precio súper bajo para el perfumón que es se los juro creo que este de los pocos perfumes que la gente olvida o del que no se habla demasiado o que no le prestan mucha atencion, burberry brit se saca un 10, este perfume solo lo he olido en algo similar que es Devotion solo que Devotion es un poco más cremosito y Brit es más citrico gourmand y amaderado, sin problema se puede usar día con día es más me atrevo a decir que es tan versátil que lo pudieras utilizar a cualquier hora del día te queda bien para una cita para estar como en tu casa para ir al gym es precioso es un perfume que vale la pena que la gente lo empiece a conocer ya que veo que es un perfume que al menos donde yo vivo nadie lo tiene y cuando les hablo de él hacen carita de no me interesa nunca juzguen a un perfume por su botella! Amamos en este perfil las notitas del limón Gourmand y brit es todo esto, más un toque de elegancia ambarado, amaderado es perfecto 💯 😍

At the opening, fresh lime and sweet pear hits you and before you know it candied almond kicks in, and the dry down is just so beautiful, sweet almond with comforting vanilla! It doesn't have crazy sillage but it lasts long. It's truly a versatile perfume, you can literally wear it every season, in any weather, at all circumstances, even at work it would be inoffensive but leaving you smelling amazing. I don't agree with the review below, it's not a perfume you smell and then forget, I have many perfumes but I catch myself crave the dry down of this one quite a lot. And to think it's 20+ years old, it doesn't smell old fashioned at all. It's a love for me 🩷

burberry brit didn’t really stand out to me or leave much of an impression. what i mostly remember is a citrusy freshness, but even that felt pretty flat and unremarkable. it’s not offensive and not unpleasant, but it also didn’t feel like something i’d reach for naturally or think of as a go-to. the whole scent comes across as very ordinary, almost generic, in a way that makes it hard to analyze deeply. it’s one of those fragrances that you smell, acknowledge, and then forget about without any strong emotional or sensory response.

The dry down i this cold weather is soft cozy powdery sweet relaxing uplifts me. Reminds me of Lemond gourmand 000, Kylie cosmic, and glossier you. It’s the perfect scent for getting cozy and relaxing. I want to smell like this when I’m cuddling to be remembered like this. It’s divine. Beautiful. Perfect for year around, any situation. Sits close to skin, lasts longer in clothes. 10/10.

I sprayed this on my wrist at Ulta and immediately fell in love. It was gentle yet lasted on my wrist all day. This perfume reminds me of Tease from Victoria Secret except with an initial citrus note as to not make it as sweet as the VS fragrance. Highly recommend!

Can confirm it’s feeling cloying in 40 degree Celsius heat. I don’t usually like sweeter fragrances but this one smells a bit lighter and fresher. I wouldn’t purchase it but it’s nicer than others in this style. Pleasantly surprised!

Starts off with a strong citrus that makes me think of salted limes, like a margarita or tequila shots, it's very crisp verging on sharp. It does begin to develop some sweetness and lose some of the sharpness after a few minutes but the lime sticks around for about 1-2 hours. It then turns into a very pretty sugared almond that retains some of the crispness like a subtle hint of lemon meringue. I really love the dry down but the strong citrus opening isn't my favorite thing. It feels like two different scents.
