Burberry Her

When I first dove back into fragrance, I knew nothing about much of anything. My friend knowing I was looking for what I actually like, gave me a lil sample bottle of this. I loved it. Then began a dupe hunt. I got Rave Now & Glossy, both are great, but not the og dna that I craved. Fast forward a year into this rabbit hole & Momma got her a full bottle for Momma’s day. Let me say, upon my first sprays, I almost cried, & kept my mouth shut. It smelled fine, only weak, with very lil staying power. All I could do was use the M E philosophy of perfume, put Her in timeout. Guess what, same philosophy works on designers too. She lives in the cold, dark closet improves each wear. Now, silage is beyond moderate, but not a beast. She just leaves a fresh, fruity, woody lil trail for hours. The fruit combo in Her is divine. The fruits withstand to blend to perfection with the woody base. Yes the dry down smells like a less ambery BR540. They most definitely come from that same suburb nose. I wear when I go out for any occasion. I wore layered over S+F Love Potion on our travel day of vacation. It lasted all damn day, 8+. She was also 1 of 3 that took the travel with me. It is never cloying, doesn’t irritate my sensitive man. He can’t smell anything, but things will irritate him & he gets choked. So very relieved the priciest fragrance he has bought me not only performs its weight, but is tolerable for him. I can’t wait until he can smell again, we will have fun testing all my favs to find his favorite. I had considered this as my signature, but a recent new buy has slapped me & said I been here the whole time, why you just now getting around to me. Her will still be reached for more frequently, because I love her. I crave Her when I am in a bad mood, to uplift. She makes me feel pretty, fresh, and happy. Her is a forever frag, she will remain in my possession. I love Her😍 1000/10

I tried sample it is just so disgusting it doesn’t smell sweet or fruity it makes me sick when i smell it, also it’s radiating negative energy when I was wearing the sample back then

i forget the tv show name but that one scene where anorexics are eating strawb jam soaked cottonballs. yeah this but with some nice musk. good to wear if i wanna feel put together and force-feminised, a very recogniseably clean girly wamin diva scent, not my vibe otherwise.

BurBERRY is right! To me, it's reminiscent of Lip Smackers, the strawberry kind, but not in a bad way. Very jammy.

very fruity with the tiniest bit of sour. slightly musky. I'm very sensitive to musk and I enjoy this so far! very feminine I honestly would have never tried this looking at just the notes. now I keep sniffing my bottle lol

I enjoyed this quite a bit a few years ago when I was in my early twenties, but it's way too sweet for me now. One whiff and I'm almost gagging- it's just way too syrupy and cloying.

I just recently ran out of this one, and I'm saving the travel size for the perfect moment. A definite rebuy and I can truly see myself wearing this until eternity. The elixir is even more heavenly and decadent. I used Her both day and night. The most delicious berries and cream smell, but mature chic and rich. I love the bottle as well.

i’m very very disappointed with burberry her… ugh i don’t even know how to start it’s SO disappointing that this is the first fragrance that comes to mind when searching for a strawberry scent. this DOESN’T smell like strawberries at all. it just smells like strawberry FLAVORED/SCENTED things!!!!!! COME ON that fluoride paste at the dentist’s office, cough syrup when you’re sick, cheap dolls’ heads/clothes, cheap strawberry scented closet beads… everything except natural, juicy, sweet strawberries just… y’all must be noseblind. it’s (sadly) okay if you like smelling like what i wrote above but don’t come at me and tell me this smells like “strawberries, creamy, delicious…” hell no..? i also can’t believe how popular this is and that there are 25+ women who still wear this. i normally don’t associate scents with a specific age group but oh wow.

there is no way you guys are buying a perfume with the top notes of strawberry and raspberry and then complaining it's childish / overly feminine ... its such a pretty scent

i hate this perfume so much bc my old best friend use to spray this all over her body and used to make me sick. A very sweet scent that makes me wanna throw up. Actually..… if you're under 16 this will suit you however i do not understand a grown woman using this. are we going to play on the playground my dear you are not giving strawberry short cake you are giving me migraine ♡

Her is exactly the sort of fragrance I like to criticize for being artificial and cloying, but I must admit this is chemicals done right. It has that airy, molecular quality everyone loves in BR 540, but while I am clueless about what so many people seem to enjoy about the latter, I get it when it comes to this girly, fresh, sweet, berry milkshake scent. I am clearly not alone in believing it smells like a Strawberry Shortcake doll or something from my childhood, and I suppose that partially explains the mass appeal. I never thought I'd wish to smell like a 10 -year-old, but here we are. Update: I should add that in reality I rarely wear this fragrance, not just because I seldom want to smell like a 4th grader who spends too much time playing w/ scented dolls, but due to its lack of cruelty-free status & unsurprisingly high toxicity rating on ewg.org. I'm too health-conscious to bathe myself in toxic chemicals.

Oooofffff GROSS the br540 dna is too much and too metallic Strawberry syrup drizzled over some metal keys in the pocket of a smoker

a pretty crowd pleaser scent, I have a lot of perfumes in my collection but I always wear this one because my boyfriend likes it the most, playful and feminine such a safe blind buy.

This smells totally different on my coworker, than it does on me, on her its bright, girly, and sweet, Her daily wear. On me its musky and dark. The opening is sharp and spicy citrus and sour fruit. It smells salty, kind of like rain rolling in. Then the strawberry comes out on the dry down but it doesn't get to take a front seat ever for me. I saw this for many recommendations for a strawberry scent, if i had bought for that accord in mind i would have been disappointed. I'm having a different experience than most people with this on my skin. Its very musky, jam like, sour fruit. i like this.

for a department store ass perfume, it's decent. it settles very powdery and musky on me, but the opening ~2 hours is fine.

Kind of obsessed with this. Overall I tend to prefer my autumn/winter scents, but of course I don't want to wear them year round. For me, this works like a summer version of the darker, warmer stuff that I prefer during those months. It's like summer sticky jammy berries mixed with all my favorite winter base notes.

This gives pretty girl next door vibes! By no means is this extremely unique, but it is very pleasant. I really don't think you can go wrong with this as a first perfume or even a gift to a young female adult. I am personally a huge fan of anything with berries, so this really pleases my nose. I do think the dry down smells very similar to Baccarat Rouge 540. This is perfect for the spring and summer!

the kind of fragrance where people constantly tell you that you smell good but it’s just because they can smell you and you smell like perfume and they dont know any better. smells like claire's body spray i would purchase as a lil girl #noshade

Inoffensive, mass appealing, pretty scent. Soft floral. You can't go wrong. Makes a great gift.

Absolutely lovely for a teenager. It exudes a cheery and feminine energy. The elixir is an absolute no go on the other hand: coyingly jammy sweet synthetic I can’t get away from fast enough.

It's a yummy, yet overdone strawberry milkshake note hidden in body odor (BO) same I get from the sandalwood. Here it must be the musk. Ew.

Reading the comments, I wonder if some have the 2018 Her, confused with one of the others. Oh well, chemistry and hydration can really change a fragrance.

This smells very similar to YBM to me, it leans a bit more perfumey and a little less creamy, but pretty much the same thing.

I love wearing this fragrance.
