I smell like a lovely piece of jam toast

I smelt either this or the original Burberry Her in the store and it was like a strawberry milkshake. I'm sorry if I reviewed the wrong one, I will go and confirm next time I'm in the store and change my review if I'm wrong.

I liked this at first, but I've let it sit for a while now and came back to it and it smells exactly like this perfume I had in high school called Pink Ice by Rue 21.

This perfume smells beautiful on other people if sprayed measurably. However I sprayed it once on me and it gave me a headache. As much as I wanted to love it I just couldn’t. No other perfume has given me this symptom.

More lush, sweet, & romantic than the original, but similar🍓🎀 I prefer this !

It really smells like strawberries picked from the vine, definitely better than the classic one but it still doesn't appeal to me. Hours later I smelled it again and it definitely doesn't smell bad at all, not the classic, suffocating, nauseating scent, just simple, creamy, slightly sweet and strawberry-scented. Still, I'm undecided whether I like it or not.

For now i have the 10ml travel size , I think this is how Lotsu from Toy Story should smells like ! I get syrupy strawberry scent and it smells so addictive ! will defiantly purchase a 50/100 ml size once i finish my travel size.

Mağazada kokladığımda çilekli danone gibi gelmişti. Tester alıp evde sıktığımda ise daha derinlikli bir koku olduğunu fark ettim. Bahsedildiği kadar sütsü kremamsı değil bence ama kesinlikle yenilesi bir tarafı var. Çilek ve vanilyayla birlikte alttan alttan çiçeksi notaları da hissediyorsunuz. Genç kızlara hitap eden, yumuşak, pofuduk ve tatlı bir koku. Bunu sıktığımda çok mutlu hissediyorum. Muscent muadilini de denedim ama o çok sentetik bir kokuydu maalesef benzetemedim ikisini. Aç karnına sıkmamak lazım yoksa mide bulantısı yapabilir.

I feel like im the only person ever to hate this smell - ok maybe not hate but its definitely not what everyone says it is. I was expecting a creamy sweet smell but this just smells like baby powder and synthetic strawberry. I dunno kinda reminds me of a claire's perfume 8yr olds overspray I really wanted to like this aswell :(

strawberry milk, but not in the best way, if you’re looking for a strawberry milk scent that’s more lactonic and better overall get kayali’s yum boujee marshmallow

It smells like straight up strawberry candy to me, it might be a bit too juvenile for some people? but personally I don't care one bit about that, I'll love smelling like candy even 30 years from now haha has been my signature for a while now, I find that people generally like when I wear it.

its basically a more edible version of the original burberry her. i dont think it feels lactonic enough but other than that you can smell most of the notes pretty clearly. its definitely creamier and softer than the original tho

super sweet marshmallow like strawberry milkshake. I love this perfume but i do think there are probably cheaper alternatives because it's not a complex perfume. cute bottle also.

I like this one because of the berries but it's not my favorite. I think Burberry has other perfumes that better suit my personal taste although this one isn't bad.

a feminine berry and vanilla scent - very approachable! a bit too sweet for my liking and it also doesn't feel like my personality, but nice. reminds me of a spring princess.

If this came out in the 2000’s, teenage me would have made this made this my signature scent because my goal then was to smell as fruity and edible as possible! To me, this is a creamier, more powdery take on the original and the strawberry note comes across a little too artificial on my skin. I actually prefer the original for the muskiness, but again, I don’t dislike this perfume. It’s very feminine and girly and reminds of falling in love for the first time. It’s a delightful fragrance for those who enjoy a sweet and feminine scent.

LOVE IT! I tested this on skin again (summer 2026 - day time - warm weather) and I loved it all over again!! Even though I hate sandalwood (smells like BO to me) I can't detect it here and I'm over the moon about it! I only smell a yummy creamy smooth romantic feminine girlie strawberry-vanilla-blackberry (in that order) milkshake. Perfect for a romantic date imo! When the Magic Cloud Becomes a Heavy Milkshake While Burberry Her EdP and the Elixir open similarly, the Elixir quickly dries down into a heavy, milky (lactonic) strawberry milkshake. In doing so, it loses that magical weightlessness of the original EdP and becomes traditionally heavy. For me, the beauty of the original lay in its "light gravity"—that rare ability to be warm and sweet without suffocating you. The Elixir fills those airy gaps with dense, powdery cream. It trades the unique, modern molecular mist for a thick, literal gourmand. If you want a cozy, traditional strawberry cream, you will love it. But if you fell in love with the original for its effortless, weightless warmth, the Elixir might just feel like an unnecessary weight

This might be an unpopular opinion but this is the best out of the Burberry Her lineup to me. It smells like the original but thicker and creamier to me. The oak moss in the original is still there but dialed back a lot. This one does actually smell laconic to me while the OG is far more airy.

This perfume and the trouble its given me 😭 I’ve smelled it in the store countless times, never was I impressed until I went to a smaller perfume shop and ended up with a paper sample of it and hands down it was one of the best I had smelled out of all the tests even though literally every other time I've tried it I was very underwhelmed.. Then it began, I wanted it. But of course, I hate designer perfume prices I hate buying them for myself decided I’d wait til Christmas right? Well, I get it, same underwhelming experience. 😭😭😭 Let me actually give a more proper description of what this is like to me too, because I never see it said but holy this thing is SCREECHY. It is so loud and harsh and fake scented from smelling the bottle it’s ridiculous, even simply from not right at my nose it’s so horrible and headache inducing and loud. I took this as, Oh, it needs to sit a while, so I’ve wasted lord knows how much waiting for the screechiness of the florals to go away, still hasn’t… BUT it doesn’t consume the entire scent anymore. Up close (and only up close unfortunately) along with the first soray I can smell this far more beautiful, soft sweet strawberry and vanilla scent, but really it’s just so overwhelming in the florals still it’s horrible 🤕 On my skin its so much less floral heavy and absolutely what I love but of course IT DOESN'T LAST ON SKIN. Safe to say I won’t ever buy a bottle on my own of this, although I will say I’m super tempted to find a dupe that doesn’t have those florals because ohh I’d use that perfume constantly.

Very nice. Like a thicker, heavier version of the original. I dont smell much difference between the two and like them both a lot.

This is delicious and it wowed me when I smelled it, which is a miracle because I usually dislike sweet feminine fragrances and I dislike or am indifferent to literally every other feminine designer fragrance ever, including the other flankers of Burberry Her. Nonetheless, the elixir somehow has this rich, rounded, jammy and sensual fragrance that is sweet nd appealing without being cloying, overwhelming or generic. EDIT: above are the original impressions from first test on paper, tested this on skin and the lovely scent from the opening immediately faded and turned into a synthetic plasticky fake strawberry smell and I will be scrubbing this off. Instant dislike now

My dad's review of this when I tried it in store was: "that's definitely a feminine smell. Stereotypically and strongly. It's the kind of smell that men get accused of cheating for smelling like." That being said, I love it. I love the OG too. It's super sweet, dainty, feminine, sensual, without being cloying. It's fluffy strawberry sugar melting in a way that is also summer appropriate. I think I still like the OG better though because I'm a big musk fan.
