It doesn't matter how different each Burberry scent is in composition, there is this one note that all of them seem to have...a commonality that links them all together. They smell quintessentially British. From Her to Weekend to Touch, all have this rain type scent that is so evocative of the ubiquitous rainy day on the gray streets of London. I definitely don't smell fruit first...maybe a waft of organish cranberry. Definitely wet, earthy plant vibes with this one that I don't hate once it's on my skin.

This is not my usual go to. Definitely soapy, fresh.

My friend got this off TT shop, I smelled hers and thought it was nice. Then they started flooding the discount stores. I decided why not. Since I have got a full size Her, smaller sized Burberry Woman, London, & Weekend. I like this house, next I want My Burberry. I have Angham, so no need for Goddess. I like this a lot, but sometimes I am just not in the mood for this type scent. I have a couple other scents that this hints to, I am the same about them. I love the notes of this. The berry combo up top is lead by the black currant, with a splash of freshness from the cranberry peaking in enough to keep it from being syrupy. The pepper actually tickles my nose the first couple minutes, it too keeps it grounded and provides a great opening for the florals. The mid brings the soapy white florals and a sweet peony. The mid is owned by the peach, peach with black currant is a strong combo bc they don’t go away. They mix with the vanilla and cedar, taking it down to meet the white soapy florals. The dry down is nice, very intimate, hence Touch. This is not a slap you in your face fragrance. You will have a lil bubble, but not trailing through rooms. It is a strong dna done softly, if that makes sense. Longevity is good, solid, you will get a work day out of it. You will smell nice, warm, & clean when ya person leans in welcoming you home. 9/10

Smells like citrus soap. Do not like at all.

This smelled like sour zesty baby powder... I'm sorry. I am a Burberry girl through and through. The notes seemed like my clean girl style so i bought it blind. I really tried to get behind this. I purchased this in summer and waited for cooler weather to be sure but yeah.. this was not it.. maybe it's my chemistry but this was just awful on me. It had to go.. It was giving diapers.

The opening is a big fat yikes. Johnson's Baby Shampoo with a huge breath full of red chilli flakes. The dry down is really nice though - just a lightly sweet, soft wood. If this were a bit more linear, and projected a bit better it would be a huge hit for me.

This was a gift - not my usual scent because I’m *not* a floral girl. However, unlike many fragrances, the first spray of this is really rich instead of alcholy. It starts garden fresh, yet, simultaneously, warm (not my cup of tea). It is the dry down that I loved: less floral and more creamy. Not sure why “fruity” is listed as the most prominent note?! Anyway, will be using as an air freshener and/or to layer with some of my more cosier scents :)

Анонім★★★★★

when i first sprayed it, the red pepper note was very sharp and i was met with a strong spicy scent- i was expecting something softer i sprayed it on both my skin and clothes to test its longevity and how it would dry down. i wore it to a family dinner but while we were leaving the house with other family members, my perfume was overpowered by theirs which is not something i like :( it’s not a very noticeable scent. it’s more of a “i don’t want to smell like anything but i’ll still wear perfume” kind of scent. the longevity and sillage are weak. normally i would choose dislike but the way the spicy notes kinda faded and became slightly sweeter as it settled gave some extra points

Анонім★★★★★

I find this very boring and not good. Like if you mixed a bunch of perfumes together and this would be the creation - no specific smell other than alchol-y perfume.

probably the cleanest smelling perfume ever. its pretty strong, but it gets compliments. smells like soap and lotion.

I'm a Gen X'er who came of age in the era of the first unisex frags (CKOne) and gourmands (Angel) so, for me, there's nothing like a 90s perfume. I'm only just discovering Burberry Touch and find it manages to bridge the chasm between then and now by sporting aspects of 90s perfumes that I loved so much while still feeling modern, even in 2026. Touch manages to remain feminine without succumbing to the archetypal Maid, Mother, or Crone profiles with soft jasmine, mild fruit, sedated tuberose, and a backbone of arguably masculine notes (pepper, cassia, oakmoss, tonka) swaddled tightly in vanilla and soft cedar. It's soapy (in the best way), greenly floral, and just powdery enough to feel rounded but, make no mistake, Touch is steadfast. I find it well-blended, comforting, and rather unique in my collection. I feel confident, wise, and capable when I wear it. There's nostalgia here, but also modernity in a classic way. Sillage is moderate but longevity is amazing...9 hours so far and still breathing in vanilla, cedar, and faint tobacco, with some fading tuberose and LOTV. Touch is the 6th Burberry perfume I've added to my collection over the years (I also have Weekend, Brit, London, The Beat, and Her) so they must be up to something there that I really vibe with. Touch pre-dates all those, except for Weekend, and while I am really enjoying it from the start, I think with more wear, it might become my favorite. If you're knee-deep in the cotton candy, sugar floss, whipped berry, make-your-teeth-ache trend that is so ubiquitous these days, this might not appeal to you. But if you were thinking about sporting a 90's beast, this is a great entry point.

Burberry Touch smells like adulthood. She’s responsible. Sexy, in a Scandinavian office drone kind of way. The pepper and berry notes above the restrained cedar give hints of her inner freedom -- she is in the world, but not of the world. High heels clacking on black marble floors. She comes home exhausted from her shift and reads architecture journals. Form and function. I’m not seeing love here, at least not in the opening. Masculinity also shows up. A disciplined, almost severe woman. This is not an individualist. She belongs to a collective, nearly swallowed by it. As time passes, the scent gets sweeter. The mask softens. Perhaps it is lunch break. I associate it with the smell of sunscreen, for some reason. This is due to the fact that -- for some incomprehensible reason -- I wore this scent all summer in my 19th year. On my skin the base notes also overpower the other notes and its hard to detect anything other than pine in the opening, although I do catch heavy wafts of berries. Still mostly pine. Anyways, I washed it off. It is unbearably mature. I'm still 21. What am I doing wearing Burberry Touch? For now, this is the smell of a life that feels so distant that it could be centuries away, yet is simultaneously right at my front porch.

This is such a lovely fragrance. Something zesty and peppery at the beginning but the pepper stays into a lovely cashmere floral. It’s become my go to at work - I work in a clinical setting. I find these sorts of ‘background’ scents - very difficult to find, let alone like. I’m very pleased with this - definitely hoping to get the full bottle ! now please don’t discontinue it!

Анонім★★★★★

A stand alone, stand out. Love it. A different type of scent from the get go

Анонім★★★★★

I’m shocked at the reviews. I thought for sure it would get a more positive reaction. To me it smells very clean (freshly showered smell) and polished, almost like Johnson’s baby shampoo. It smells professional like a crisp, freshly ironed white button down shirt. It’s inoffensive and nice. I always reach for this to wear to the office. I have a sample that I enjoy so much that I invested in a full bottle.

Very mudane scent, I use it for work in healthcare settings. Will not buy again.

I have never really seen this in stores and I like Burberry, but this one is 3/10. Not that great to me. It's very dull, smells like a dusty attic with old floral perfumes left in it. The combination of the lily, rose, peony, jasmine etc is a bit overkill. All the flowers are competing with each other and then the oakmoss is giving the attic smell I think. I can't smell orange or the peach - which usually adds more brightness. I think its a bit aged as well - not a bright floral. This could be the signature scent of a lady in her 60's who collects dusty books and the year is 2001. It is not exciting. Skip this Burberry one.

You'll never read me saying - 'You're wrong, I'm right.' regarding any fragrance, ever. But...there are times when I'll say something akin to - 'I truly cannot understand what you guys are experiencing, and disagree with your perception entirely.' This is one of those times. I don't relate to any of the unsavory remarks about this perfume whatsoever. But, I was admittedly, more intrigued *because* of them (and not in spite of them). I went out to my car to check perfume sites and get a feel for what this might have in store for me before returning to Ross to purchase it. And FWIW, all of the perfume sites/resources I checked have conflicting notes (this is not an uncommon occurrence, but it's annoying...I have my suspicions as to which is more correct or incorrect, but I'm gonna stay quiet about that). All of this to say, reviews are all over about this, references disagree as to the notes, and it's seemingly a polarizing fiasco. Naturally, I was completely compelled and purchased it, hah! I love this. It's a seemingly incongruent batch of notes, but it works. It's not nearly as cedar-y or sharply woody as I anticipated, nor as fruity. In fact, I get barely any fruits whatsoever in the opening, and it goes STRAIGHT into a plushy, almondy, powdery sandalwood blend. I get NO pepper. No pink pepper. Nothing spicy and/or red. The entire composition feels 100% beige to me. People have claimed this is masculine. And...I vehemently disagree. I'm actually struck by how sensually femme it is. "Touch" is a FANTASTIC title. It's clean, feminine, dry (I'd love to wear this when it's rainy) and reminiscent of cleaned and lotioned skin. However, it's not a modern "your skin, but better" (I'm so sick of that phrase, gag me...), it smells dated (which isn't criticism, it's refreshing). Like lotion or body oils from the Y2K era. Weirdly, I don't find any references to orris, but it's what I would've bet money on it containing. This is the kind of scent I admired as a kid. I was either 8, 9 or 10 when this was launched (again, the sources on this are a mess and disagree). As a child though, I was exposed to this sort of thing, but never wore it. To to have this bottle now is a fabulous and nostalgic gift to myself (this was my bday present to myself). I'm very happy with this, had a great gut feeling about it, and I'm thrilled that I listened.

This scent has polarizing reviews and mine is going to be as well. I agree with others that this is a safe scent. It’s inoffensive and is good for work and any season. On my skin, it really is a soft scent that sits close to the skin, I can’t really smell much of anything except a slight woody note. I sprayed several sprays on my wrist and really can’t smell much at all. Personally, I definitely prefer a more intense fragrance so for that reason, it’s not for me. If I were to wear this, it would be around the house, or running to the grocery store. However, I have way too many other scents that are way more appealing to me that I’d rather wear. I definitely don’t get anything sweet, nor do I get a lot of florals. Honestly, I don’t smell much at all. It’s one of the most undetectable scents in my collection, I can even smell Burberry body more than this and that is also a very light scent on me. I absolutely love some Burberry scents, but this one is disappointing. Ironically, I somehow ended up with two bottles🤷♀️, I must’ve forgotten that I purchased it previously. So I gave one away. I’ll probably end up giving the other away at some point as well.

It smells clean, and by that I mean, it smells like soap. So if you like the scent of soap, you'll like this. I can see myself wearing it on lazy days around the house. Not something I'll reach for often. It's interesting how hit or miss the Burberry line is.

Анонім★★★★★

Nothing to write home about. Disappointing. So many notes, yet I can barely smell it.

Анонім★★★★★

The pepper ruins the entire fragrance. This perfume is my least favorite in my entire collection. Bad blind buy

Анонім★★★★★

I love this, it smells so clean and chic! The perfect office scent, it's fresh and flowery, all in the most perfect balance. Such a sophisticated blend, love it love it!!

Анонім★★★★★

I have a hard time reviewing this perfume because I only wore it once. It's just ok. I am more of a sweets lover and this one is just too floral and citrusy woodsy all at once. It is very strong on me. Everyone in the room can definitely smell you even if you only use 3 sprays. Definitely lasts longer than 6 hours even if you're sweating. It's just very mature? I feel like other Burberry fragrances are much better than this one. I will most likely regift this. Btw you can find a full size (3.3oz) bottle at Burlington for 39.99!

What a great find! This was actually a blind buy for me, and I'd say it's a safe blind buy for anybody who likes "clean", musky scents, skin-like scents (for example, Armani Lei). This is such a comforting, cozy scent for me. It smells a bit like BO, but in the best way; the body odeur of someone who's very very clean. It doesn't have a musk note per se, but the effect that is created is very musky, in the true sense of the word. Because of that, I imagine it can work for anyone, women and men of all ages. Day & night. It's peppery fresh, but very grounded in woods. In the first hour it's like a sandwich that you can smell all at once: zing of a pepper mixed with slight acidity of berries - soft slightly flowery, powdery, Nivea-like lotion smell - woods and moss. After that it smells like powdery clean woods and vanilla, in the coziest way. It's sophisticated, unexpected, and gives the perfect dose of freshness for a cold winter. I love it. It has the same type of comforting mellow mossy-woody note that is in Burberry's older perfumes (Woman, Brit and even London). I wish Burberry kept making fragrances like that, instead of the horrible vanilla monster that is Goddess. In three words, I would describe this fragrance as: Clean; Comforting; Peppery

Анонім★★★★★

This is a very confusing DNA. First 2 years after I was gifted this I didn’t vibe with it whatsoever. It was dusty tree pollen and old 90s ladies fragrance from a department store for me- vintage and too powdery. Although some people really liked it on me, and even asked what was it. Last summer I accidentally applied it in the very high heat going outdoors. WOW. First of all it opened up into honey -like wildflower field mixed with mossy notes that are both sour and sweet. A very natural sillage.

Анонім★★★★★

I’ve delayed reviewing Burberry Touch for so long because I find the notes pyramid very confusing. However, I will describe what I smell. Burberry Touch opens with aromatic green herbal accords that have a slight bitterness. There is also a sense of a clean shampooey white musk, present all through. It is clean, unisex or even slightly masculine. You can also sense a synthetic wood note that lends some spiciness to the scent. As the sharp opening eases you start detecting some tangy juiciness , it could be the cranberry, but I can sense no other fruit from the listed ones. There are some green florals; lily of the valley is very possible, but the other flowers to my nose could be carnations or geranium, again quite a far interpretation from the listed notes. There is minimal sweetness to the scent, I can’t detect at vanilla. The base is quite woody. You can still sense the clean musk till the end. It lasts for 3 to 4 hours on my skin. It’s quite safe for office use and in closed or crowded laces as it is a fresh skin scent. I like the woody cap and the simplistic elegant bottle design.

Анонім★★★★★

This smells like one of my first perfumes, "yellow" in an older fashioned way, yellow in the way baby shampoo is, but this is powdery with some bitterness that's not present in more modern scents. It's actually very bitter. I'm not a huge fan, but it is nice to smell something familiar but different from most of today's perfumes.

Анонім★★★★★

I don’t understand how people say it’s “ red pepper “! Completely spoiled the experience, there is no where mentioned in Burberry website, not even pink pepper, I don’t like this about Fragrantica that anyone can vote for a note, meaning that “Notes are not what your nose is smelling, rather the ingredients that are used in a fragrance” So when u vote for an ingredient before being sure that one is in the fragrance or not, it’s unfair; for the users and for the producers, so I request you guys not to post or vote for “notes” just because it smells like that to you!
