it’s giving avon perfumes somehow… so cute and fresh. definitely suitable for summer and also fall. a nostalgic scent
I am kinda loving this, it smells purple to me. The iris smells like my Granny’s irises that grow in my yard, they smell like powdery grapes. I smell the peach blossom, it sneaks in & out giving some warmth The opening is a kicked up sweet citrus, that sage takes it to a different place. The fragrance is doing a dance, the notes keep rotating to the top spinning around one another. This is making me smile. It does that until the deep dry down, which smells like shampoo. I like that, so. It projects moderately off skin a couple hours, clothing about 6. It filled my room & lingered a couple hours, but it didn’t trail through the house as I worked. I really do think this is good for a night out. Its name fits, especially the way those notes dance around, interesting. I have reviewed all my Burberry. This would tie with London behind Her, next Touch, ending with BWoman(only bc of performance, love the scent hard). Will definitely continue to explore the house. 10/10
I first smelled this years ago and it's weird cos I immediately thought of my mum and picked her up a bottle as a birthday gift. She was delighted upon spraying it around her. Whilst I wouldn't call this scent "complex" or "challenging", it is pure happiness. It's like the bubbles in champagne, it's like that stream of sunshine that comes through the window at a particular time everyday. It's sparkly, fresh and so alive whilst being very wearable. It reminds me so much of my mum's personality and I'm so glad I added it to her perfume collection.
Imagine! This was a successful, nearly 30 year-old blind buy. I grabbed this during my [NEVER-ENDING] hunt for a realistic laundry sheet scent, & while it smells more like a detergent, I'm so glad I did! It's a gentle, dusty, fruity floral. It's pretty damn powdery, but my allergy-prone eyes & nose are somehow fine. It's fresher, so when I say "fruity floral," there's more emphasis on the floral aspect. Lastly, It's sweet, but not too sugary, unlike a lot of today's more popular scents...Which just reinforces my idea that in the late 90's/early 2000s, fresh florals were rightfully dominating the market & times were far better.
This is one of my favorite winter perfumes for January and February. There was a time when I had to grow into the scent because it was too much for me. Too much of everything - floral, sweet. But then came the turning point :-) The scent is too heavy for me in the spring and summer months. I enjoy it even more in the freezing cold. I call perfumes "frozen flowers" and that is just beautiful. I smell freshly cut grass in it. I can not help but think of that juiciness as the first thing that comes to mind. The longevity of the scent is really excellent. It is true that I was already over-saturated with it last winter, so I only used half of the bottle, but at least I have some stock for next winter. I am a little sad that the design has changed, the new bottle is minimalist, but too ordinary. The original, flat one was unconventional and simply beautiful in its otherness. I also appreciate the low price. I pay a lot of attention to perfumes and scents in my environment :-) and this is a perfume I have never smelled on anyone.
DO NOT BLIND BUY! I purchased this from a discount website based on the fruity note descriptions - and was shocked. All I can smell is screechy white florals. no powder, no fruit. other descriptions of disinfectant soap and piss are more accurate to my nose than the reviews of sweetness or powder. Maybe the huge difference among review has to do with the reformulation that some reviewers mentioned. I will try to save this by layering with some vanilla lotion, etc but I suspect I'll be decluttering this one soon. I trusted this on a blind buy given prior good experiences with Burberry. Even at a discount on a smaller bottle, I regret this one.
summer road trip honeymoon, silk scarf around the neck, heeled sandals, wide-brim hat, wine tastings in vineyards, sunset behind the cypresses, White Lotus Season 2 Place: Tuscany Song: Quando Quando Quando, Engelbert Humperdinck
Sweet fresh floral. Love it. Very nostalgic. Reminds me of my first job on customer services. We used to keep the testers under the counter and we would all spray this. Everyone wore it early 00s.
Its a century-old spring flower bouquet presented in full sun, occasionally kept safe in a sandalwood/musk case. The only perfume I can still smell on my cardigans from 1+ year ago. Vintage, expansive, lighthearted, makes you smile.
Love this one! Not your average "clean girl" scent, but more like a bougie "clean girl" scent. A unique citrus; creamy and slightly powdery. Smells like an upscale patio lunch date in the sun after a brief rain shower.
One of my absolute favorites! It’s foral without being too sweet and it wears beautifully during the day!
If you like Elizabeth Arden Beauty or Estee by Estée Lauder, Pleasures, White Linen etc you may like this.
Love this 🌞not how u would imagine it would smell from the bottle fruity wear anytime
I’ve used many perfumes so far, and this is probably one of the worst. It smells genuinely old, outdated, intensely nostalgic, and disturbing—so dusty and artificial that it actually strains my nose. Strangely, it smells as if it had been sitting on a shelf for years and gone off.
One of the "nostalgia in a bottle" fragrances I can stand. Recently, I had come across some Ralph Lauren Romance. This had been my signature scent from age 14-19. As soft and lovely and classy as it smells, it triggered some hardcore trauma...the response was frightening in its intensity. As a young adult, I found Oscar de la Renta's Rosamor and that became my scent for a while, but I haven't smelled it in years. I've been buying up the clearance and flash sales with Microperfumes, and this is another I got from one of those sales. I was excited; this is something my mother and aunt wore when it first came out around the millenium. My aunt passed away in 2004 and my mother in 2012. I wasn't sure if this was going to be a trauma-trigger, too. But it hasn't been. It's actually been a comforting romp through the nostalgia. Some people have described it as "classy, middle-aged teacher" and that really sums up its vibe. Let's be 100% honest here: there's something about it that smells a little dated. The dry down is very powdery soft; definitely can smell the musky notes. But one of those florals is the dated smell...if I could say the 90s in my life had a smell, this would be it. I can't quite put my finger on it. I can't believe they still make this. It literally smells like I found an old perfume hidden away in my mom's closet, but it somehow hasn't gone bad after nearly 30 years.
smells like a mall, maybe a fancy mall, but still. a little old, a little basic. i could see it being an office scent, but i wouldnt wear it to make a statement. it does blend with the skin
this reminds me of the woman i came across in the breakfast buffet in this 4-star hotel my family and i were staying in. i didn't like prawns, fish, and the biryani but i followed her at every station just staring and mindlessly walking. 16 year old me went back to the blueberry waffles. lovestruck. never the same.
Nice for a bit but then it becomes overpowering to the point I get a headache; great longevity in my opinion, a couple of spritz goes a long way. If you’re into florals you will like this.
Burberry Weekend is the perfume that my childhood best friend’s mother wore for years. For me, that fragrance evokes the image of a mature, composed woman — someone serious, who gets things done, dresses “sexy” (as I used to call it back then), and always makes sure she’s well put-together. I came across it again this year at an airport shop, and the moment I smelled it, I was instantly transported back to my teenage years — when, at 14 or 15, I’d secretly spray it in my friend’s bathroom. Later, her mother would chuckle when she met me in the hallway and ask, “Did you spray my perfume again?” I bought it this time because I felt ready to embrace that sense of being a “mature, grounded” woman myself, as I near thirty. But on me, it simply feels flat — a little dull, lacking personality. I realize now that I probably bought it more to reconnect with a memory, to be transported back to my childhood, rather than to feel like a fully formed adult.
I can't think of a nice way to describe this scent on my skin - it literally smells like the air freshener they use in public restrooms. Smelled nice when I purchased it 2 years ago but now it makes me feel nauseous and its projection is very weak.
As a floral breather this is dated if u are a modern floral lover u wouldn’t like this & i keep getting something like morning breath in this one it does smell outdated I don’t recommend blind buying it 3/10
too mature & floral. reminds me of one of my nona's old perfumes. maybe elizabeth arden red door?--not sure
Weekend for Women by Burberry holds a special place in my collection. It’s not something I wear all the time, but when the temperature is just right, it becomes absolutely magical. The floral notes bloom beautifully, wrapping me in a soft, comforting warmth that feels like a gentle hug. There’s a calm, effortless elegance in this scent — casual but refined. It’s especially lovely in mild to slightly cool weather, when the florals really come alive and seem to radiate warmth from within. It may not be my all-year signature, but when I wear it at the right moment, it reminds me why I love it so much.
My mom’s signature perfume, it reminds me of a bookstore & floral teas, which sounds weird but I don’t know how else to describe it, it’s very familiar. A good mature floral mandarin scent for anyone who’s finally taking a step into adult life and layers well with EOS fresh and cozy🫶
my mother has it. a pleasent smell but too basic in my opinion
Disappears in minutes. I was quite disappointed by the receint purchase
maybe the sample was off but this smells strongly, overwhelmingly of airport bathroom hand soap to me. with a touch of stale piss to really sell it.
Vintage frosted bottle. Feel-good fragrance that lives up to its name. Light, fresh, sunny and a perfect pick me up for spring and summer. The rose hip and sage notes keep it from being a typical fruity floral. Smells like ice cream.
I have the old bottle, and I adore this scent. It is sweet and floral, but at the same time, fresh and uplifting. It is still a current perfume, in spite of the formula beeing guite old.
