The original version of this was almost identical to After Sunset. I enjoyed the smell but it just wasn’t complete IMO. It has an original scent profile that I liked but didn’t love. However, the 2026 profile of this….wow. The added a sweetness to it that rounded it out perfectly.
On me, it smells like sickly sweet honey. On my fiance it smells like juicy, syrup peach and a little intoxicating. Makes you notice and then say "oh wow". We have very different skin chemistry. Wish it smelled that good on me! It's heavier than your average fruity perfume: sprayer beware! Lingers in a space it was sprayed in. Very peach forward, then the honey kicks into full gear. I would like it if it was weaker, but I know Kilian already has a more soft sillage peach perfume that I already own which is Flower of Immortality. If you want a very good peach that is softer, go for that one. If you want peach from Kilian that packs a sweet syrupy punch go for Forbidden Games.
This gives Bath & Body Works - Pure Wonder. Meanwhile I love the BBW pure wonder, this scent is not worth the price tag of Kilian
I got a 10 ml of Forbidden Games by Kilian Paris because I was convinced I was going to fall in love with it. And now I’m confused 😭 I don’t dislike it at all… but for some reason, it’s not hitting me the way other Kilian fragrances do. I’m a huge fan of the house, and usually their perfumes feel rich, layered, addictive, and a little magical to me. This one just feels a bit… “meh”? Which hurts me to say because I really wanted this to be a new obsession. The scent itself is pretty. Fruity, feminine, a little peachy, slightly sweet… very easy to wear. But I think I was expecting more depth or complexity from it. On my skin especially, it disappears faster than I’d like. Interestingly though, it lasts much better on clothing, where I actually enjoy it more. Maybe my expectations were just too high because it’s Kilian, or maybe this is one of those perfumes that grows on you slowly. This is only my first impression, so I’ll definitely come back after I finish the bottle. Who knows… maybe Forbidden Games just needs more time with me.
Got 10 ml of this and I adore it. Wish I had saved my coins for it instead of getting Her Majeesty earllier this year. ON THE LIST.
got to smell this today and i was surprised by the way there was a very yummy joghurt-like accord on the initial spray!! opened up deliciously gourmand (even though i think peach doesnt hold well in perfumes) and sets with feminine florals with an almost aquatic note. personally i wouldnt go for a fruity-floral perfume but i think i would like to smell it on a gorgeous woman passing by ;)
I have this fragrance in my collection for about 4 years and i saw it was being rereleased again. This is a beautiful fruity powdery fragrance with a soft floral touch. It tends to stay closer to the skin the more it dries down. To me it almost smells like a vintage body soap but in the best way possible. Out of all the fruits listed i get peach and apple the most but it’s not juicy or tangy but more like a powdered dried fruit. The cinnamon in here is not prominent at all. The rose is really where all that powder scent comes from the jasmine however brings it some much needed warmth. The honey in the base comes out a little more when it dries down with the vanilla to give it a bit more sweetness but overal it’s rose powdered dried fruit. I think it’s beautiful for spring and summer and can definitely be used as someone’s signature scent.
Forbidden Games is a forbidden orchard temptation — ripe peach and plum dripping honeyed nectar with cinnamon spice, like biting into sun-warmed fruit laced with jasmine petals in a secret garden haze. The opening bursts with juicy peach dominance, crisp apple slivers, and a spicy cinnamon kick that feels playful yet seductive, blooming into soft rose and jasmine florals without overpowering the fruity core. It dries to creamy indulgence: vanilla and opoponax wrap everything in warm, resinous sweetness — evoking honey-drizzled peach cobbler with a floral whisper, feminine and luxurious without tipping into cloying territory. Bolder and more sensual than everyday fruit scents, it's a niche gem for those craving compliments and skin-clinging magic. Lasts 8-12+ hours with moderate, intimate sillage — perfect for evenings when you want voluptuous, addictive pleasure.
Fruity, sweet, rosy, floral, fresh, powdery, feminine, sensual, seductive, romantic, sophisticated, classy, elegant, charming, whimsical, enchanting On me this opens with sweet peach, tart apple, juicy plum, just a sprinkle of cinnamon, and rich, velvety Bulgarian rose. As it begins drying down it smooths out as lush jasmine, sweet geranium, and powdery vanilla join the other fruits and florals. Once it’s dried down it becomes sweeter and even more smooth as the rich honey joins the notes, and the powdery vanilla becomes more prominent. The rose stays prominent, but softens, and the geranium also remains prominent. The notes that are most prominent on me are the peach, rose, geranium, vanilla, and honey. I’ve never typically been a big fan of rose perfumes, although there are a few exceptions… JPG Classique (OG lace corset bottle), Chloe Love Story, and Chloe EDP. However, I can still see the beauty of this one. I particularly enjoy the honeyed aspect, like honey drizzled over fruits and petals. Also, the geranium is lovely here. I don’t know too many fragrances that have a prominent geranium note, but it’s such a beautiful, sweet, and delicate floral. I get exceptional performance with Forbidden Games. The longevity is fantastic, it lasts throughout the entire day, and I can still smell it the next morning. The projection is great, it radiates out several feet from me with just 1–2 sprays.
First impression was not good: too peachy, too much honey, strong, sweet, heady and heavy. Tryed to like it, but no, kind of loud, old fashioned in a bad way.
No!! I dabbed a little on my wrist with a tester and now it’s suffocating me. People say this is soft and fruity? Am I going insane?!
There is nothing forbidden about this scent. Boring, way to sweet for no reason mixed of everything. Totally disgusting
Very nice perfume, so sad it's out of production
Fruity, dollhead, potpourri
Such a lovely scent. Smells like shampoo. Super feminine.
better than Liaisons Dangereuses...
It smells very cheap, like grandma's very old lipstick.
Nothing like J’adore. Totally underrated! Please judge this for yourself, I think it’s en vouge to hate on some brands, Kilian is one of them. I didn’t expect to fall in love with this fragrance but I found a 2017 bottle for an amazing price and snatched it. The opening is a delicious, ripe juicy peach, dripping with honey. I also get a lot of vanilla and it’s all balanced with rose and Jasmine which never take over but they are more present in the dry down. I find Forbidden Games creates a wonderful scent bubble for 2-3 hours then becomes more intimate, create a beautiful silage as you move for another 3 hours. It does remind me of a Gourmand version of Chanel Allure, the EDP but still not redundant as allure is more polished and proper whereas I find Forbidden games sexy. Id like a bit more opopanax and cinnamon but that might jump out at me with more wears. I feel this wears beautifully in the heat and humidity.
Forbidden Games strikes me as inspired by J'adore based on its composition. I smell peach and watermelon fruitiness before the white florals. Unfortunately, it did not suit me for wearing.
Smells like very dated hair spray to me. Boring floral - inoffensive but nothing I would ever purchase. Smells like a designer perfume lots of florals
I wanted to love this, the fragrance was unbelievable on my colleague!! It is a very, very pretty floral, REALLY well done!, but on me it was straight hair salon territory within half an hour. Obviously this works differently with skin chemistry, so do sample - it might just be amazing on you.. just, sadly, not on me.
I don't get all the bad reviews. It's the best perfume I've ever smelled in my entire life. It's not candy/sugar sweet, it is juicy. Ripe delicious fruits drizzled with honey. It is feminine, kind, seductive. Some people say it smells like J'adore, it's simply not true. Yes, it has the same softness, but that's where it ends. I've smelled almost every perfume under the sun recommended here to find a dupe for Forbidden Games as it's so expensive and I can't afford a full bottle. Nothing comes close. This scent would be my signature if it was within my budget.
my first kilian perfume and full bottle purchase ever. nothing smells like this at all. it is fruity and fresh and very sweet but not in a way that's sugary or too intense. the floral notes play so well with the peach note to the degree where you can't really discern which it which. i see a lot of other comments saying this is a clean peach, sure, but this is nothing like other clean peach scents you've ever smelled. i think this gets better over time and has amazing longevity. this fragrance has my heart
Very fruity and quite sweet. NOT a gourmand in the sense of Flowerbomb or Scandal.
This is one of the most interesting and unique scents I’ve ever smelled but the dry down was a let down. Upon initial application, the only things I can confidently distinguish are the apple, opoponax, and rose. Besides that, I get a general fruity sweetness. After a little bit of wearing, the peach, cinnamon, and honey start to come through more and the spicy resinous opoponax softens. The apple is definitely more dominant than the peach. It's like a fresh rosy resinous apple pie. The end of the dry down is my least favorite phase: a violent punch in the nose of geranium (pretty sure that was what gave me a headache). I liked the fragrance up until this point but I had to wash what was left of it off. I don't mind geranium in theory but it was just way too strong. I don’t smell mint but I can smell why some people do; probably just an unintended outcome of this particular combination of notes. But it definitely doesn’t have the cooling affect menthol has in the nose. If anything, it’s more of a warm spice. Unlike other reviewers, I don't get any rotting fruit, soap, lychee, vodka, or bug repellant. The Oil Perfumery has a good dupe if you want to save some money.
This is my favorite perfume to go to sleep. I do love it and my whole make up bag smelles like it. Super crisp.
Florals with honey. Smells better in the air than on paper. The projection is great with this. I have a love hate relationship — I love the honey note and how airy, elegant and feminine the scent is, but there something screechy in the background. Maybe it's the mint/menthol feel from one of the notes? I don't pick up cinnamon at all too, which is much more pronounced in Angels Share (my fave). It's also headache inducing up close, a little too sickly sweet even for a gourmand lover like me. Overall, it's a nice scent for everyday and day dates, but it's on the boring side for Kilian. Not worth the price or a full bottle, but I got a 10ml decant of this and I think that's enough. Performance is poor: projection was good in the beginning, but only lasts a few hours before fading into a skin scent.
I did not love this at first but it has grown on me drastically. I love to wear this layered with Van Cleef & Arpels Bois Dore. Together they breathe life. So sexy and femme - I can't believe how good this is! Its the honey for me. It smells sticky and sweet. Love this one
The only fragrance I have returned It is awful Dead rotting fruit in a bottle
The name reminds me of Chris Isaak's Wicked Game and the black & white music video featuring Helena Christensen, directed by Herb Ritts. Forbidden Games is a straightforward fruity-floral that unwisely inhabits a middle ground between older "old money" luxe like Creed's Spring Flower, and downmarket Middle Eastern fare like Al Rehab's Fruit roll-on oil. Spring Flower works because it's a classical green floral with an extra-fruity nuance, while Fruit excels by being a brazenly cheap mashup of powdered punch notes. Forbidden Games attempts the crassness and loudness of stone and pome fruits (peach, apple, plum) while adding a classier touch of rose and vanilla, but ultimately the blaring fruits win out, and the far dry-down is neither here nor there. The sweet fruitiness gets increasingly cloying and unpleasant over time.
