anlam veremediğim bir cool kadın kokusu. bi anda saçlarım simsiyah belime kadar dümdüz indi kollarımda arkadaşlarımın çizdiği kusurlu minimal dövmeler belirdi ve parmaklarımda yeşim taşlı gümüş yüzükler vardı. o mu olmak istiyorum onun mu bilemedim.
Tried this at the airport and genuinely could not get rid of the rugged leather smell. It also melts into something spicy, like black pepper. The grapefruit holds on to this saddle seat. Liked by many and popular in the wlw community. Unfortunately, could not make myself a fan due to its dusty nature.
the purse of an alt woman outside of the club smoking a cigarette. raspberry bourbon spilled on a motorcycle seat. polly pockets. that’s what i get…. i like it
mmm, the raspberry projects while the leather and saffron cling to the skin, so cool. the raspberry jams up as time passes, and the juniper drifts to the front. ps: yes smokyiris, hell yeah
ultimate dom fem scent
Saffron and Juniper is what I get, It is so well blended nothing really stands out, one of the better ones from Byredo.
Raspberry cashmere ... Bubble-gum like note with cashmere, juniper, grapefruit, and bits of leather. The version i am testing is the limited edition one is pre-2015 version, and it is quite understandable that it is limited cause mostly it's like experimenting! i believe this is not a complete blend as it is quite much like a shampoo or shower gel vibe kinda blend! After all it is ok, as they are re-releasing it again on their website but i don't think it worth the pricetag of 170 Euros for 50ml! no thank you.
leather seats, raspberry syrup, the last drag of a cigarette
date NOYT scent. absolutely love this scent. it feels very femme-learning. It's definitely a dark, kind of jammy rose and leathery smell. longevity isn't great at all (2 hours maybe) but I always get complements on it.
My favorite and most femme perfume I own . Fruity and leather
A very interesting femme leather fragrance. The saffron is very muted on both mine and my GF’s skin. A bit simple for the price point. 7/10.
Guys, come on. See it for what it is. This is a true replica of a cheap toilet air freshener. It isn't unbearable, but it isn't good either. Could also be compared to a dank locker room. 2.5/10, only because I have smelled much worse. I hope byredo will phase this one out, because it's quite unlikable once you think about what it actually smells like.
Quite interesting thing! I feel that it has a similar complexity, although generally weaker by performance, than TF's Black Orchid. Leather? I didn't even think about it before looking up the list of notes here. But that's right, leather is the most prominent but still mild, rounded and weak. Raspberries -- yes, there is something sweetish-red in it too so that's probably that. But no vetiver whatsoever so if it's really there it has completely merged into everything else. Saffron I can only imagine and that seems to have a similar fate with vetiver. Even though I find the scent a bit weak, I still love it as a smell experience. One of the mildest leather scents I've smelt.
I really like this. Black Saffron is the first leather-forward scent that I found addictive. It smells like cigarette ashes one moment and the other, it smells like raspberry tea to me. When you smell this in the air, it's over. My mind mentally checked out, and I bought that thing. I just might place it in my lifetime rotation and I love how inoffensive it is just like most of Byredo's offerings. Edit: I sprayed this in the morning and WOW OH MY GOD IT SMELLS REALLY GOOD HOHOHHOHHOHOHHH
I like this layered with baccarat rouge 540. It makes the saffron pop and the leather takes it to a drier more inky dry down. That said; I prefer the extract version which I sampled recently. I used to be much less adventurous and did not like leather at all - so it goes to show how your tastes can absolutely change!
On me, this smells like lockeroom sweat and body odor someone tried to mask with a raspberry body spray from Bath and Body Works.
Holy moly, leather galore. You'd have to stick your nose on my skin and sniff hard to find even the slightest semblance of sweetness. I definitely get the raspberry and saffron, though not as much as I'd like. The leather simply takes over. I should've known this would be intense by the notes alone, but I was curious. I think you have to be super confident and have a presence to pull this off. Alas, I am a wallflower.
If you’ve tried one Byredo, you’ve tried them all. I sound facetious, but I’m not kidding: I have Mojave Ghost, Black Saffron, Bibliothéque, and Mumbai Noise — all from before the company’s purchase by megaconglomerate Puig. Up until that point, they’re the pop music of niche perfume. The chords are all the same, even if the notes are different. Even if you’ve never smelled (heard) it before, you have. Wispy ionones waft in with plastic sweetness. Inoffensive florals obscure leather or amber. I hate to say it, but Alto Astral (coincidentally my first Byredo) would never do me like that. It’s like nothing I’ve ever smelled: burning buttery sandalwood and incense mesh with coconut water and aldehydes. This isn’t to say the other four don’t smell good — this includes Black Saffron — they undoubtedly do! Who, in their most desperate hour, could deny the pleasure of singing along to “That’s that me espresso?” Black Saffron hits in this exact regard: it too lasts two minutes and fifty-five seconds and all you can really remember as far as the words go is that one weird line (that, if we’re talking about the perfume here, kind of smells like Fruit by the Foot cellophane).
As a Man that tried this as a tester; I'll give my thoughts about this scent. And I'll write is as simply as I can without any ai slop too, so forgive me for my poor English. I sprayed it only once my wrist, and that's because I safe to say didn't like this scent very much. For what I smelled as a man, was that the first second was a very nice raspberry smell with added spice to, with deep leather note - but as literally a second have passed, the next sniff I got, was a complete and utter cigarette ash smell as the main note, with a little hint of fruit, kind of hiding away in the background. I like to imagine this scnet of, that Uncle at a family gathering just coming back inside after a smoke break outside with his leatherjacket, in which you can smell a slight note behind all the cigarette ash a sweet raspberry perfume as cheap ploy to hide away the ash smell. I can say the least that this perfume at least for me doesn't mix very well with my skin 😃
I first came across this gorgeous scent in the Byredo sampler, and it was one of the first to get used up, along with equally fantastic Biblioteque. I had to have a full size, but I was lucky enough to find one on eBay for half the price. I smell the leather, which I adore, but I don't get the raspberries. I just know that I love it, and it reminds me a lot of Etui Noir by Miller Harris, another full bottle scent for me. It lasts 8-10+ hrs. on my skin. I will wear this at any season, any time of the day, and with shorts, jeans, or dresses.
Byredo knows how to do leather well. Adding this to my wish list. Already own Animalique and Bibliotheque. This will be a great addition to my library. The leather and fruit notes are beautifully balanced. Can’t comment on the longevity just yet.
Like this, though unisex leans more toward feminine. A dark, jammy rose leather fragrance with some ash and metallic notes. Really like it.
A very elegant and mysterious scent, defs for a cool girl. Leather with some floral jamminess and a hint of something dark that I can’t put my finger on
Smells like a Chinese iced green bean dessert (lightly sweet, powdery, with a smooth, nutty leather), if you get what I mean.. it’s a full gourmand for me
Smells like salad
smells identical to Mirsaal of Trust Afnan for men
I love the scent, it is fantastic! Only problem is that it doesnt last, and the projection is poor. If the scent projected and lasted more, this would be my all time favorite fragrance.
This is such a cool girl scent. Black leather jacket, shag cut, cigarette smoke clinging to your hair. Stained lips, fruit you eat on the road. Feels like a 70s rocker’s girlfriend, or maybe she’s a rocker herself. Not my cup of tea but surely cool
What an intoxicating, beautiful, daring, and addictive scent! And this is coming from a gourmand girlie! This scent is so sophisticated and chic. You're definitely a badass if you can pull this off. I'm wearing this scent in the office today and I feel so untouchable. I fell in love with this fragrance in fall, but it's been sitting on my shelf since exploring other fragrances. I've been avoiding it because she tends to have a sour and metallic thing going on. I decided to reconnect with her today, so I just went for it and sprayed her on the skin. Ugh, it's amazing the way she unfolds. The sour and metallic notes last only 2 secs and begin to unfold into a warm and fuzzy cashmeran. As I move around through out the day the fruity notes pop in out so sensual and refreshing. On Byredo's website there is a note of "cristal rose", and that is my FAVORITE part of the Black Saffron experience. There's a nostalgia to this fragrance as well. It's giving your childless diva auntie who had black leather couches in her living room in the 2000's with the zebra print & black panther motifs, who likes to end her night with a nice glass of champagne or rose'. She doesn't smoke, but she likes to hang out with her boyfriend at the cigar lounge, that's where that smokey smell comes from! LOL
Smells strongly of pickles.
