La Tulipe

5/10 Not for me, unfortunately. When I tried it in the perfume store, I fell in love. It was the most realistic fresh-tulip scent I have ever smelt. So naturally floral, just divine. 🌷☀️ However, on me, the perfume turned into a scent more akin to a budget-friendly toilet freshener. 💔 Heartbreaking. I truly wanted to smell like a freshly picked tulip bouquet.

Exactly like the experience of sticking your nose into a tulip in full bloom on a misty sunny spring morning

I really like this fragrance. It makes me feel like I am taking a bubble bath between two pretty ladies. The tulip scent is very realistic and there is a very prominent powdery note.

The most photorealistic tulip I’ve ever smelled. I love it? It’s not doing too much, it smells exactly like going to the arboretum in spring to see a tulip showcase. It’s perfect for work and inoffensive on public transport. I don’t need beast mode on a tulip frag some of y’all are wild. Edit: Oh god. This thing dries down as Fabreze air freshener. Specifically Fabreze Light Air Sea Spray -- blegh. It's super synthetic. What a shame, the opening was beautiful.

This is a very inoffensive light Tulip with a hint of greenery in the back. This quite litterally smells like my grandmothers garden in springtime. Had it not been so expensive, I would have bought it, but unfortunately (as with many light fragrances) this has a poor sillage and projection. I sprayed it on and it disappered within an hour or two. The scent though is amazing.

I was hesitating between La Tulipe, Blanche and Young Rose as I was looking for a light floral summer pefume. At the end, I purchased La Tulipe as it smells like a fresh spring bouquet. It is also a little bit unusual perfume for me as in general I don’t like floral perfumes as they often are too overpowered with tuberose. I am happy this one has no tuberose

This is your Grandmother's flower bed in the garden, nice, clean and inoffensive, but there are more fun scents from Byredo, but it is good.

it s almost too clean... no aldehydes? i smell hints of detergent. elegant, for a more mature audience. not my cup of tea tbh.

I got a decant of this after it was recommended as a realistic spring floral perfume. OMG it is absolutely repulsive. Super cheap, ultra synthetic fabric softener. If you want to smell like detergent crossed with Dollarama "floral" candle, Tulipe's your gal.

Super strong, yet clean floral fragrance. Got a sample because I adored the way Hayden (Ethel Cain) described it in her "collection of smell goods" video: "Both of these smell like beautiful women are gently kissing your neck". It's a spot on desription. It fr smells like a beautiful woman. Can't wait to get my hands on Casablanca lily one day so I'll get to smell the other beautiful woman. ;) It's not for me tho, I love florals but not in this powerful way. It's so clean it's soap-like. Definitely sample it before buying, especially because of the full bottle's pricetag.

This is a sweet green floral scent at first, but then starts to get a bit of a powdered soap fragrance as it evolves. It pretty, feminine and light. In my experience with Byredo, longevity is a bit low, around 3 hours max on my skin, so for the price point, I find it a bit of a disappointment. It is pretty but definitely not a favorite for me. I don’t love a freesia note, mostly due to wearing a freesia BBW body spray in my late teens, so it smells inexpensive to my nose. It comes across as very similar smelling in this. This doesn’t smell expensive or elegant to me. That is not to say it smells bad, it just doesn’t smell like luxury, and for what I paid for it, that’s what I expect(blind buy). The quality I like most about it is when it turns a bit soapy! I enjoy a soapy clean girl scent! So, I will use this up for work, but I won’t repurchase it. It’s pretty and safe but not worth the price point to me.

This is a very inoffensive, clean, beautiful, airy delicate floral scent that carries like wind over the green grassy field. Blue skys and radiant clouds. 8.5/10

Nice floral perfume. I’m allergic to flowers but I can handle this one. My younger sister really liked it so I gave it to her. I guess it’s too simple(?) for me

As other reviewers have correctly observed, this is a very beautiful and realistic fresh floral, with tulip as the dominant note. It smells like a garden in spring, with tulips in full bloom. It is quite feminine and just a little soapy. Unfortunately, I can’t justify a full bottle purchase, due to its high price and very poor longevity.

The most beautiful, dainty, photorealistic tulip scent ever!! Oh my goodness, it's just precious! If tulips are dear to your heart, as they are to many people all over the world, you will absolutely adore this fragrance. Fresh, clean, tidy, straightforward floral. If you don't love a powdery perfume, then you may want to sample this first. Otherwise, I think it's a totally safe blind buy. Moderate performance all around. LOVE!! Rating: 8/10

A super fresh, clean floral that smells better than an actual tulip. To my knowledge, tulips don't actually emit a scent. So this is an unexpected surprise. It smells like a heavily scented, floral soap. You'll want to wear this on a hot day as it smells refreshing, like you just stepped out of a shower.

Feels like I'm really in a tulip garden. A minimalist's Diptyque Ofresia.

It is delicious. So crisp, wet, and dewy it makes you want to bite into it. It is the scent of pure optimism. It sparks an instant wave of joy that cannot be understated. As with other Byredo creations, it showcases incredible longevity when sprayed onto fabrics. It offers a bright, uplifting cloud of freshly cut flower stems. It is a great clean scent, completely devoid of any sharp aldehydes. A joyful bijoux.

Very unique smell. I have smelt a tulip once or twice in the past and it wasn't anything nice, it was kind of indolic. But in this scent the smell is different, some unknown floral. After testing it first time I was unimpressed but somehow I remembered it and many months later took out the tester again and enjoy it now.

Beautiful, but nothing new. From the first spritz I thought of "Flowers" by Kenzo.

For those of us who used to eat vine tendrils in the summertime. Feels like a Ghibli scene, lying in a wide field of grass as the breeze moves through it. Cricket sounds. The cusp of spring to summer. Childish but not immature. Delicate, just like its name. Very interesting scent, nothing extreme, just pleasant subtlety. I can't think of a dupe and I wouldn't want to. It's a very trustworthy scent. Might as well say it would work wonders for those who want something green, without smelling like tea, grass or citrus.

Photorealistic tulip scent. Nice but wearability is questionable. Maybe older women? Not necessarily but leaning that way. Edit: Haha... didn't see previous commentator also used "photorealistic" term. Yeah its definitely spot on on the real smell.
