One of the better and interesting scents in the fruity floral genre. Such an attractive bottle and price to boot - I got mine in cute 30ml under $20. Amor Amor is not very strong but is a commanding presence with its pleasant aroma. I mostly smell citrus, white flowers(clean jasmine), vanilla and amber. The touch of floriental element is what keeps the scent from being too simple and juvenile. I have never expected I would enjoy this so much.
If you like the smell of Amika's hair products, specifically their dry shampoo, this is the closest thing I can think of that smells like that. I love the Amika scent and I wish they would make a perfume from their signature hair line but alas, this will be the closest perfume that will do until then. Also, Aerin's Amber Musk smells like Amika's signature scent.
This perfume is giving 2000s tuscan baddie vibes to me!! I do not have it but my friend has it. I cannot smell vanilla nor tonka bean. At the beginning you can smell the citrusy top notes clearly. Then all i can smell is woody vanilla and little bit of musky rose. I really like this one but it is not my type of thing.
I don't smell the notes I see in the pyramid. I smell all the things that remind of cold dark Christmas days. I smell boozy rum and brandy hard sauce. Orange peels, cinnamon sticks, vanilla beans and pine needles. Everything smells great, high quality, well blended and rich. Definitely not juvenile. Sadly, this is just not my vibe. I can see the appeal but it doesn't suit me. Definitely a yuletide vibe to me.
Very nice bright perfume! Got it as a gift and wasn’t the biggest fan at first but it definitely grew on me. I love to put it on in the morning and feel the bright fruit smell wake me up!
Cacharel continues to impress me. I am a collector but somehow have only just experienced my first 2 of the house. Yes I Am really took me by surprise. A blind scent would have had me guessing along the lines of Carolina Herrera. So, I finally dove into another oldie, Amor Amor. Wow! It is not extravagant, or groundbreaking, but man am I glad to have it in my collection. It is such a pretty and flirty scent. I do not love a rose scent, but I do enjoy it in this. For me, this is the only rose perfume I would reach for. It is there, but somehow it is not the main character. Kinda like Angelina Jolie in Girl, Interrupted.
Foi meu primeiro perfume da vida, ganhei quando tinha uns 8 anos. Então tem um apego emocional gigante K Mas tirando isso é absurdamente doce e provavelmente muito enjoativo, mas não me importo. Amo muitão.
Oh my god, how does a fragrance have the power to instantly evoke images and scenes? This one is so beautiful. I just sniffed it at the duty free and it evoked champagne in a beautiful home celebration. Like sharing a glass with your partner in a house party with your friends and family. It's citrussy, but not as usual: it is very bubbly, champagne-like. Gorgeous, sweet, boozy in the best bubbly way possible, happy and flirty. I need to get my hands on it.
This actually smells like quite similar to Yves Rocher's Cuir de Nuit The difference between them seems small, maybe this one smells more fruity.
Pure 2000s nostalgia in a bottle! A playful burst of citrus and blackcurrant that melts into a sweet vanilla-rose blend. It feels like a warm embrace from the past, from old days…. Very nostalgic and a bit melancholic even.
my absolute favorite. I started using it when I was around 11 and it's been my signature perfume ever since. It's such a cozy delicious perfume ♥‿♥
This is a great scent and incredibly versatile for any season or occasion. It’s bright and fresh with a fruity top and mid, but then turns into a woody vanilla in the base. It smells very much like something else I own, though I can’t place it. I only have the Guess fragrance mentioned in the comparables, so I’ll have to compare those. It’s definitely a scent profile I enjoy! The only negative for me is the longevity is pretty low on my skin. I probably get three to four hours, but it is very affordable so you can always reapply!
Timeless perfume. Wore this in middle school.
It is very floral with a slight fruity touch and a hint of vanilla in the background. It’s more different than I expected. There is something ordinary and slightly unpleasant about it.
My first real perfume… I will always love her and she can do no wrong. Still as intoxicating to me as the first day.
I have BEEN SEARCHING for anything that smells like Amika (hair products) but specifically the Amika room spray that no longer exists ANYWHERE. THIS IS IT! When comparing my nearly empty bottle of Amika room spray to Amor Amor... This perfume smells even better. It's Amika DNA but a little more spicy and sexy.
Pretty basic, safe, and versatile perfume. It's just ok.
My "night out with the girls" perfume. I really like it, it smells cheap in the best way possible; like it makes me feel approachable and fun. I tested many Cacharel perfumes (I really like this brand) and Amor Amor was the only one I wanted to sniff all the time on my skin.
I can take strong perfumes, but I CANNOT wear this one. It gives me the biggest headache, even though I never have headaches. It’s VERY strong and I can’t figure out what it smells like because of its overwhelming scent. Also, I feel like it smells kind of like an old lady perfume. Not ugly though, but definitely not for me.
Number one 2000's baddie. Fresh, delicious red fruit. She radiates if you overspray, and you kind of have to given this is a citrus fragrance, but she's super cheap so it doesn't hurt. I first smelled this in a Kaufmann's when I was a wee baby bat and she captivated me. now as a grown ass woman I won't ever be caught without this delicious love potion.
Eh. I bought this at an airport without smelling it first. Smells like something my cool aunt would have worn in the early 2000s. It's nice but in moderation. Gave me a headache :/
Es rico si me di cuenta que en cierto tipo de tema trabaja distinto pero no sé que nota será que percibo un cierto olor a cucaracha 🪳 así bien al fondo será mi nariz 🥸 quiza
I blind bough this and gave it away. I've heard how popular it was in the early 2000s and really wanted to have this is in my collection, but it's just incredibly sour and plasticky and not in a cool y2k way. It smells like sweat mixed with generic body mist. Wasn't a fan but it could be blackcurrant as it tends to lean ammonia like on my skin at times
Smells exactly like citrus bathroom cleaner or wc air freshener. Not like a perfume. Very sour and sharp orange and grapefruit. That’s all i can smell. Boring and makes me feel very unsexy, you don’t really feel good smelling like a cleaning product. Unsuccessful blind buy.
my signature scent of my teenage years. brings me so much joy and good memories. i will never get tired of this
I guess maybe I am biased given that I grew up in the 90’s but this is a lovely fragrance. The citrus’s are so greatly blended, it’s sweet and playful. This could definitely be an everyday signature fragrance.
Kendini genç hisseden 7’den 70’e her kadına gönül rahatlığıyla öneririm. Parfümün verdiği çekicilik hissi yalnızca meyvelerden gelmiyor; muhtemelen hayvansı dokunuşlar barındıran ama son derece temiz kullanılmış bir misk notasından kaynaklanıyor. . . . From the very beginning of my fragrance journey, this was the first perfume I discovered. It is a fragrance that captivated me with its name and truly made me fall in love with it. However, one should not focus only on its name. Now let me describe this perfume to you. It is extremely fruity and rich in citrus notes, almost like a vibrant fruit platter. It definitely has a clear gender identity and is unmistakably a women’s fragrance. I would confidently recommend it to every woman who feels young at heart, from ages 7 to 70. The sense of attraction it creates does not come solely from the fruits; it is likely due to a musky note that may carry a slightly animalic character, yet is used in a very clean and refined way. 10/7.9
I got this perfume in middle school from my mom (she tried it after a blind buy and wasn't a fan). I loved it so much at the time. I will say now though that this scent does not really fit the audience of a tween girl, because it's a more mature fragrance. Still really beautiful though! It mostly just smells like a giant bouquet of red roses, with a hint of citrus and a little bit of baby power? Scent lasted very long on me and stayed a long time on clothes too. A very classic-sexy vibe type of fragrance. The bottle also showed a pretty good visual of what the perfume's vibe would be (With the white thorned rose illustration and the shade of red for the bottle felt very fitting too. Not really sure what the ring thingy was for? Still pretty cool though :) I remember pairing this with a rose scented Vaseline (which I used as a lotion) to have the scent last longer on me.
I immediately bought this after I smelled it in a magazine in 2003! 😂🥰 I drained the bottle because I loved it and I recently bought it again for nostalgic reasons. It smells like I remember and it's strong and long-lasting for me. I'm not sure how people say this doesn't last?! To my nose, Amor Amor is a more sexy/sensual perfume and the fruity aspects like the black currant, orange, and pink grapefruit are deepened by the vanilla, tonka, amber, and touch of cedar. I definitely smell the amber in this and that's why this isn't really a bright citrus scent. It's a "winter" citrus if you wear things by season (I don't, but it makes me think of cooler weather). The amber makes everything have more depth, so it's the opposite of a freshie. The rose is playing nicely and more quiet/not as dominant... It's more in the background. If I look for it, I can tell it's there, but it's not what I pick up on first at all. This is a sweet perfume, but not overly sweet at all. It's very balanced and would be great for women of any age. It does not smell juvenile or too mature, but I can't see a very young girl wearing this just because it is more sensual. To each their own though. This is a date night perfume to me!
