Where's the "rose hip' and "jasmine apple" and "red woods"? Listed in description as the notes note marching the notes here?
One of my favourite perfumes of all time. It's dark and mysterious and sexy. I wore this on my wedding day.
I felt the blend of persimmon and pomegranate very intensely; The mixture of these gives me the feeling of eating fresh oranges in winter. along with the underlying woody notes, it's a winter perfume.
this is for hardcore sexy nasty bitches
Really good, universal appeal, I get pomegranate and almost a dark vanilla woods scent.
Calvin Klein´s Euphoria is an uncompromising amalgamation of ice and fire, of yesteryear and eternity. It never goes old, for it never was in the first place... it simply is, and always has been. It is cocaine in a universe of heroin. It is space in a summer of constant daylight. It would have been banned in medieval Christendom for its sheer force of sensual power. It testifies to a world of magnetism and war, death and regeneration. And it speaks of these things in the voice of a joyous woman, who felt such things to be entertaining... It is as if some alien civilisation deposited the chemical arrangement to the American government sometime in the 20th century, as a gift of appeasement, or perhaps just a pure gift in itself... pity from a superior civilisation to a lowly one, after they had sniffed out the comical scents our women cloak themselves in, in all their banal varieties of identical soothing pettiness, of stale sentimentality and blood-curdling sweetness, of remembrance of reposing in gardens, fine lunches and dinners, of rest and relaxation, heaven and vacation... of vanilla and flowers... butterscotch and tea... perfumes for those who lunch... No, Euphoria belongs to a different world, to alien women with fluorescent eyes and rattlesnake souls. These beings find such romantic notions appalling, they speak of a different romance... Their ´peace´ is sought not in delicate things but in sublime ones. The coquette hellscape that is the earthy scent realm they find to be contemptible, concluding it could only arise from a morally, spiritually and intellectually backwards people, a people of yoga, white wine and hot lattes... a people who rise and fall early, traitors to the night and despisers of all that is pure and electrifying, a people incongruent to the task of traversing and conquering the corners of the universe, hence our role as happy receivers.... On a human woman, Euphoria is likely to overpower, unless the wearer possess the requisite character. All government coverups and all propagandising efforts hitherto have been for the sole purpose of obscuring the true extraterrestrial character of Calvin Klein´s Euphoria. How would earthly perfumery survive after such a revelation, what kind of person would be satisfied with the skin and flesh, the sunshine and Tuesdays, so clearly divined within the childish bottles of our race´s creations? What psychopath would be buying the lab-grown seductress BLACK OPIUM, or that boring careerist BACCARAT ROUGE...and certainly not that crude imitator ´Alien´ for that matter, if they were privy to the fact that CALVIN KLEIN´S EUPHORIA IS OF TRUE INTERGALATIC ORIGIN, BORN OF ALIEN SOULS AND ALIEN HEARTS... all perfume competition would be crushed immediately; pathetic lawsuits would be got to remedy for the bankruptcies, but in actuality just for the hit to their tired, floral souls... these poor, human perfumers, who purposefully ignored that which they did not want to name for so long, hoping it would simply drift off into irrelevance, these perfumers will be forced to come face to face with the pure mammoth BEAST that is CALVIN KLEIN EUPHORIA, a competitor to ABSOLUTELY NO ONE, because for true competition to exist there has to be some semblance of equality, and yet these perfumers think Euphoria WANTS this banal domination and is WELL PLEASED at this victory, but she is anything but... she longs for an enemy of requisite strength, for which she finds none, only daisies... Nonetheless, Euphoria is rare, as it always should be. It does not suit the majority and turns its nose up at restaurant dinners, gossip and expensive cosmetics... it pukes upon the touch of casual businesswear... it only feels at ease resting upon denim and white, and sometimes red, if the shade be right... Euphoria is anything but gothic and trite, it understands balance, despises banal exaggeration, understands the beauty of convention, when paired with the correct ratio of rebellion... A faint whiff of it may be detected alongside the ringing of strange, unearthly techno, or amongst unceasing laughter in the winter streets of some fallen European city, or even perhaps in the most startling of places, a summer´s morning, after the wearer has been beset with a fatal and unyielding nostalgia for the night... Euphoria can be heard in that great eerie anthem of strangeness and ode to all horror movies, rollercoasters and fairytales, ´Oblivion´ by Grimes. To some, Euphoria says nothing at all but SEE YOU ON A DARK NIGHT! ...or, Euphoria can be heard in a slowed version of ´Dream Lover´ by Bobby Darin, in that pure joyous piano cascade at the very beginning, so full of power and playfulness... ...or, of course, Euphoria´s quieter aspects can be heard in ´Brooklyn Baby´, in its snickering drama and detached coolness, its earnest longing, its great darkness. Euphoria loathes sentimentality, but it is really for sentimental souls. If America´s reign is only in the past now, its government is certainly aware that the Euphoria formula is their true and only hope for a new world domination, one forged by the divinity of a single scent... Euphoria stands in a desert of true aromatic emptiness, the primitive depravity of gourmand and floral excess surrounds it.. a world awaiting the discovery of electricity, where mud huts and teenage love reign supreme... a terrain dotted with live voodoo grounds, where the gods of vanilla and peace make their appearance, once satisfied by the requisite stomping and dancing... Euphoria stands amongst all this depravity with an aloofness that unsettles even the aliens that wrought her. And perhaps this is the true reason for this intergalatic gift. A brand new, blue and white empire of extraordinary subtlety and self consciousness, in full possession of the knowledge of what it once was and what it ought to become, and all manner of its charms, like a woman who has been given too many compliments, and now finds it difficult to restore the innocence of her modesty... It holds in contempt the evils of the daytime and anyone who finds their reason in such. In Euphoria, if one listens faintly, the superior purity of the darkness can be gleaned. It is a tender perfume in this way, it does not speak to what the world says about things and people, but as that great book says, it looks only at the heart. One can hear many things in Euphoria. Now, I hear an empire of restored Americana, of denim and cream, deers and telephones, alien disclosure and ghost trains, the glory of lost dreams. The only thing needing is perhaps a more suitable name, something cleaner, sharper, carved out of marble... that is Euphoria´s one flaw, a mismatch in name. It is also her charm.
Dark, smoky, sweet, enveloping. Bought my bottle in February 2022. Hope my next bottle smells as amazing.
This perfume is the epitome of sensuality, exuding an irresistible allure that captivates the senses. The exquisite balance of rich floral and warm woody notes creates a deep, enchanting fragrance that lingers beautifully throughout the night. Its longevity is impressive, making it a reliable choice for those uncertain about what to wear for a night out. It makes for a perfect scent for winter evenings. Overall, this scent is a seductive staple that never fails to impress.
I’m so confuseddddd!!! Okay so I loved my initial try-on, just spritzed some on my left wrist and kept giving sniffs throughout the day. Each sniff left me wanting more so I decided to buy! It just has this creamy clean scent, almost edible but not quite. It’s the scent of a woman who’s got her sh*t together but in a sexy fun way. Here’s where my confusion lies though; when I wore it to work the next day, I kept getting strong hints of kitty litter?? Just a strong sense of ammonia for some reason. I had my coworker smell it and she said she didn’t smell kitty litter, only a “grandma smell but in a good way” (which is what I’m actually going for). It died down later in the day and went back to just its natural yumminess, but that strong cat litter smell has honestly scared me from wanting to wear it again. Hopefully it was just a fluke and I’ll get that regular scent back again
It was love at first sniff for me 🥰😍🤩
This is a lovely perfume. I am realizing that I'm into intense sexy fragrances more than I thought. It reminds me of Jimmy Choo EDP in the intensity and femininity of it, and of course the fruity patchouli. A great perfume for a night out at any age in my opinion. The opening is wonderful, very fruity and dark. Then the fruitiness fades slightly, but the notes don't change a lot. The comparison to wine I read in another comment makes sense, this reminds me of drinking dark sangria in a bar with friends. I wouldn't wear this in an open office, but anywhere else it'd work. To me this is a spring and summer perfume, I cannot imagine wearing it in winter. Only the drydown I dislike, I smell neither wood nor cream (unfortunately), only something like bug spray worn in a forest (which is woody I suppose, but not very pleasant). It might be my skin chemistry. I will keep testing the sample I got and see if the drydown persists and keeps me from buying this beautiful perfume.
I do not know what happened this use to be my favorite fragrance, now it just smells like a bad chemical bug spray, or a cheap air freshener. I cannot believe I use to wear this scent. It is very true that scent taste changes over time. Unbelievable. It's so disappointing because I love the lotion. Everywhere I went people were wheezing and sneezing. It is polarizing and unforgiving if you spray generously like I do. This can be a good thing if it is the right fragrance. It is true that you get what you pay for. I love Calvin Klein Obsession and Sheer Beauty. But I will definitely be retiring this one.
I don't know if I have a fake one or something, but this is a spicy, filthy mess.
In 2005 everyone had this and their mama. It was a feral awakening, similar to the first episode of "Sex and the City" in '98
I'd love to love this fragrance but it's too sweet.
I like this perfume but after 2 hours its gone... Longevity is so disappointing for a perfume like that. I bought my first bottle in 2023 but in 2026 april I smelled it again and it was smelling different than the bottle I have. I am sure that both of the bottles are original so Im very confused
Love this one! I feel somehow powerful and feminine when I wear it.
I believe it was six years ago that I started looking for a fragrance for the new me. It was at a time that I was embracing my femininity and leaning in. I had little knowledge of frags back then. I just had a desire to add a feminine touch. I walked into a mall in the Memphis area and passed by a fragrance island stand. They had so many options and I was clueless. I asked the attendant, a young woman still in her 20s to recommend a feminine scent that makes her think of enticing a partner to the bedroom. She nodded slowly and pursed her lips, then reached for the tester bottle. She sprayed a scent strip and handed it to me. She said, "Without fail, every time I have worn this one out on a date, things wound up in the bedroom." I instantly thought... yeah right, good sales line. Yet, I didn't have a lot of time to shop and I had her ring it up. This was my first fragrance. I was excited to wear it and I have to say that there might be some truth to the draw to the bedroom as over the years, the times I have worn this one have had the night end with company in the bedroom. Yet, I have never really been complimented when wearing. I have learned on me to spray in areas away from under my nose as after sitting with it for about 30 minutes around the chest or neck can get slightly cloying. Still not nearly as bad as some other fragrances would cause. I could talk about all the notes and the scent journey but, it sort of speaks for itself and in on point. I just know that when I wear it, I feel like a pretty woman and the fragrance, without trying too hard, can be like a pair of sexy heels that says, come get me!
Where has this been all my life? I didn’t expect to love this as much as I do. I saw it described as a kind of whimsy goth throwback. There’s something about it that feels dark, feminine, and a little nostalgic, but still very wearable. The opening ia a pop of pomegranate, followed by persimmon, and a soft green note, then moves into a floral heart with orchid, lotus, and champaca. The dry down is where it gets deeper with amber, wood, and musk, giving it warmth. It wears more like a feminine, slightly moody scent that works really well during the day. It has depth, but it’s still easy to reach for, especially if you are an everyday Persephone. My only complaint is the longevity and projection. On me, it doesn’t last as long or hit as strong as I’d like. I’ve seen people say the formula may have changed over time, which makes me feel like I missed out on an earlier version. Still, I really enjoy wearing it. It’s one of those scents that just feels easy and addictive.
Very fruity tart pomegranate like scent. The newer bottle is toned down in scent and longevity. So you will be disappointed if you love the depth of the bottle with the metallic sides.
I don’t know if I reviewed this before but I will always have 1oz of this perfume in my collection. It transformed to sth fruity kinda stuff then finally to sth very sultry and deeply sexy.
i got admitted to a psych ward back in 2024. i was making bracelets with one of the student nurses and i remember telling her how good she smelt. this is what she said she was wearing, but the lotion ver that comes with it. a few years later i was going through old diaries and had found the note i made of the fragrance, bought it, and have been wearing it daily ever since. such a sweet, soft, but memorable scent. though i had forgotten the smell, i never forgot the happy feeling that eliminated the hospitals aroma :-)
good perfume my first ever perfume
This is a solid, inexpensive fragrance that’s hard to mess up if you’re blind buying. It’s not my favorite, but it’s undeniably effective. I get asked about it constantly by both men and women—it’s been called seductive more than a few times. If you want something that performs well without costing a fortune, this is worth picking up.
I'm 39 turning 40 in April. On the search for my signature scent. I remember hating this scent when I smelled it on my best friend in my early 20's. I did a "blind buy" from my local Walmart and got this bottle for the hell of it. Now I find this to be a luscious sexy dark alluring witch bitch scent. It captivates the senses with the orchid and amber. As it developed, it's a soft, dark romantic scent. It makes me want to get dressed down to the nines and go for a scenic drive to the water at night. It gives Lisle Von Rhuman from Death Becomes Her, vibes. I may have to wear this, this spring. "We are creatures of the spring, you and I." (From the movie.)
I got it as a gift, so I feel too bad to throw it out. I think I may have got a fake. It smells like bug repellent.
Yeah, I know that I knew it... I just couldn't resist a good price . It smells amazing, like sex in a bottle, for just a couple of minutes and then gone forever. Why CK? Do something?
No way is this for me. I can appreciate its vintage scent and I understand the appeal, but I think this particular fragrance reacts completely differently on each person’s skin. Personally, as soon as I tried it, I got a headache. It has an old-fashioned style, which I don’t object to, but there are old-fashioned scents and then there are old-fashioned scents. It’s far too heavy for my personality and character—I’m just not the kind of person this fragrance suggests. It would probably suit someone else’s skin (and nose) perfectly.
When this fist came out, it was the first time I dipped my toes into woody scents and I adored it. It's a great scent if you want something woody without that heavy patchouli base. Fast forward about 5 years and I started working with someone who doused herself in this to the point you could taste it. It ruined it for me. Which makes me furious because I loved this one.
Euphoria smells very nostalgic. I am not sure why people were so obsessed by this perfume when it came out ,but yeah... the prettiest girls in my senior high school wore it. I still to this day don't understand the magic of it but I somehow started to love it slowly. I think it is because of those nostalgic reasons, it truly takes me back in time. Like literally. I smell this and I am once again 17 years old. It reminds me of early autumn days somehow. It is so reminiscent of those dark September nights back in the day. This scent even takes me back to to my hometown. Very nostalgic on a personal level. Overall, the scent is quite interesting. As I mentioned, I never got the hype, but the same happened with Versace - Crystal Noir - everyone is obsessed with that one, and Euphoria and Crystal Noir to me smell quite... similar??? I know it's crazy as they are totally different, but that is what I get. I don't even know how to explain the scent, you could look into the notes and imagine a totally different smell, to me this is quite a dull scent, but not in a bad way, it feels just so still. I don;t think they do perfumes like this in these days. I would totally say this could come back to the spotlight with its scent profile. Quite fitting for this 'skin scent but better' category as this not smell perfumy at all, not even like a synthetic perfume. Euphoria somehow blends in with the skin scent and natural odor and stays quite neutral.
