Too many conflicting notes making it a Mixed up mess. Fruity gourmand, leather amber floral, woodsy patchouli? They’ve covered all bases in this one. A dated flop for an old fashioned lady.

La reformulacion afecto longevidad y le quito esa predominancia de madera y cuero en 1 fondo dulce de praline que no podía dejar de oler!!!! Fue 1 perfume adictivo para mi... lastima el q venden hoy no es más que una sombra de lo q fue...

Immediately when you spray it you know that it is a perfume that you have smelled many times. It starts with a grapefruit smell that soon gives way to the floral, very slightly powdery heart. Unfortunately on my skin the perfume is quite fleeting and I feel that it does not fully develop so I do not clearly perceive its base notes. It turns out an elegant and feminine scent and I suppose it has been reformulated for the worse because I have the idea that it must have been quite strong. Or maybe it just doesn't work on my skin. On my skin it has a moderate sillage and lasts for about 3-4 hours. I really wanted to try it because it has great reviews but unfortunately it's not for me. Smell 6/10 Duration 3.5/10 Sillage 6/10 Quality/price 4/10 Versatility 3/10 Packaging 8/10 Would I buy again? I did not buy it

I remember that I used to get tons of compliments with this CH version, and when I say tons are tons. Just dont get why they reformulated

Oh my long lost love from 2012, was it or 2010? I refused to buy the 2015 golden cap one. I didn't want to be disappointed with reformulation. I've waited and waited and voila got a silver cap vintage. Starts off citrusy and really bad. I though oh no.... reformulated. But then! Only a minute later I smelled the old good tropical praline patchouli. CH is a unique, well blended and contrasting perfume. It starts with lemons and grapefruits and I hate it. But forget about it because here comes chocolate and roses, praline and flowers, a gourmand blend of deliciousness. All melts into a patchouli (praline and patchouli.... the Angel DNA) and soft suede leather. CH is floral, gourmand, a but leathery, a tad woody. So much of the best of these categories. Love it

Smells very weak and unoriginal. Maybe I'm mistaken but I swear Jeremy Fragrance mentioned this fragrance years ago, claiming that this smells great. Since then, I wanted to try and buy it at some point and I finally added this into my collection. I would say this is NOT great.

A male magnet! I received this as a gift from a man in my life, and every single time that I’ve worn this, I’ve gotten compliments from other men around my age (20s-30s). People always say I smell intoxicatingly delicious when I wear this, and I kid you not, a stranger once threatened to eat my arm because of it. (I don’t know if this has something to do with how it mixes with my body’s chemistry). It’s a polished gourmand type of scent, and it’s absolutely beautiful. I just wish it’s initial moderate-heavy sillage lasted longer, however, you can continue smell it on your skin for around 4-6 hours.

Quite surprising. At first sniff i thought it was your typical fruitchouli as it started off very fruity sweet, but with fresh blast of citrus that lasted a minute or less. It morphs then into a more rounded, gourmandish territory, i can smell a caramel- chocolate-like note, but with feminine flowers glowing. Here you have the fruitchouli stage, unfortunately. The base is an amber musk with some nuanced woods. After some hours it becomes softer, but still it's a very sweet fragence. It's a very feminine fragrance, not anything groundbreaking but ok. Not exactly my style, but the bottle is utterly beautiful.

I love this smell. CH 2015 version is a bit similar but I think 2007 version is more sexy while 2015 is more mysterious. Of course both of them is perfect, feminen and suitable for using in cool weather or special night in summer days 😍 also, sweetness of smells is very moderate, in the right consistency, I can not say so sweet for these perfumes because I feel woody notes more. Actually wonderfully blended. Those who love very fresh perfumes may be done not like both smell in own body. But who loves estee lauder modern muse nuit style perfumes also loves these.

An interesting fragrance, that isn't linear at all. I'm glad that it is an EDT and not an EDP because that would make it somewhat overwhelming. It starts off fresh and critic, clean and good for everyday usage and work (even in the colder months). However, it gradually transitions into a sweeter, woodier, and "dirtier" (though never as "dirty" as Angel EDP) scent that I can see working for nighttime during warm nights. In the drydown it is somewhat bitter (maybe sour?), while still somewhat sweet and sits very close to skin, so the sillage seems to only be present during the first hour or so. What's most captivating about this fragrance is how versatile it is. I can see it being used for all seasons, both day and night, different occasions, though of course all depending on the amount of sprays, and it is even both fresh and sweet, which is an unusual combination.

Today I feel that I miss some deliciously sweet perfumes, I'm tired of light, fresh and clean fragrances, so I sprayed this delicate sweetness and I can tell it's so perfectly balanced! If it hadn't a citrus accord, it would be too sweet and overpowering, a guaranteed headache, but it's sweet and citrus at the same time. Not in a very playful way, woody notes make it sophisticated, very appropriate for bussiness meetings on a cold winter day. Very feminine, never annoying, it swings from woody sweetness to citrus freshness and because of that you can never get bored of it. I sniff my wrists constantly- here comes the praline notes, oh, now it's warm cinnamon, what a nice smell of fruits and what's that? Oh right, that's cashmere wood... The notes are swapping every few seconds until it dries down to a delicious praline woody scent with a hint of patchouli. I love it so much!

I like this one very much. it has a perfect mixture of fresh, earthy, sweet and woody vibes that I enjoy very much. I notice the fruity notes, the patchuli (that I find soft enough for my taste) and in the dry down the suede and the woody notes. It has a very pleasant development from fresh and crisp to deep sweety and earthy in the dry down. It's very feminine and chic. And it lasts at least 8 hours with a very good sillage on me. I find it suitable for all seasons (except maybe the hotter summer days), for day or night. It makes me feel dressed up, so I don't use it in lazy days, but I love to use it to go to my office, for dates, for family gatherings, etc

The Bottle:It's okay it's pretty simple but I do like the red "leather", but I feel that the bottle doesn't really show what the perfume might be like. I assumed it was going to be a dark heavy scent. Inside the bottle: Sensual & Winter time are the words that come to mind when I smell this perfume. When you first spray it you get the suede,chocolate and hint of fruit. When it dries you get a light patchouli scent If you are not a big patchouli fan this one is tolerable because of the other elements helping it not be too much. Then follows the citrus and woody scent. Longevity is pretty good it's moderate and the sillage is also moderate. Overall: This perfume is a great for someone who loves perfume on the darker side but wants something light enough for the daytime.If your sensitive to perfume this one might be a little too much for the few minutes you put it on , but I think you should be fine once it's dries.

Was gifted a mini of this with just a tiny bit in it, but that was enough to test. This is a very nice, likable, and really quite unremarkable scent. I like it enough that I would wear it, but not so much that I would seek it out to own a full bottle. It definitely has a nice leathery quality which is its primary pro in my opinion. If you like leathery sweet scents, this might be just the thing for you!

I really, really like this one. It has a warm, sweet start, with the oriental notes underneath, and it slowly transforms into a masculine scent, and you can easily feel leather, cedar, and patchouli. I guess some people may not like that, but I've always liked masculine perfumes, so it's great for me.

The scent is too sweet, forgettable and not very long lasting. Don't think is anything special because the are a lot of fragrances out there that smell very alike. Even though is versatile, after a while it gets cloying.

This perfume was my first true love. It was love at first spray and we started a passionate and exclusive love affair that lasted through my teenage years. But then it comes that time of our lives when we want to explore other things and I dumped it unceremoniously. But no matter what scents I discovered after it, nothing ever came close to representing my inner me as much as this perfume. Slightly masculine, very assertive. Different but Dependable. Now, I have many affairs especially in the evenings (oh my deadly Poison and sensual Hypnotic Poison!), but I'm proudly and happily married to this darling. I will always love it, no matter what.

This perfume is bit "dark". I get association with heavy dark wood furniture, but also there are very lovely and feminine floral. Didn't get much citrus, fruits or sweetness, but I smelled rose, suede and bit spice note. Overall this isn't "mainstream" perfume. It is feminine, interesting and bit on heavy side. This actually reminded me Blvgari Jasmin Noir. They are different, but in same time they have something similar. Bvlgari scream "rich" and have "cleaner" notes, while CH is more for everyday, it is more settled, but it's still sexy and feminine.

WOW! My skin chemistry turns this into the manliest smell ever. All I get is suede water notes, cedar, and something spicy, maybe the cinnamon. Either way I am happy it was only a mini. I got it through a lovely swap but I think I will have to pass this on.

My brother bought this for me & each time I wear it, I always get many compliments about it from guys. So I guess this is really poplular with men. I love it too. It's gorgeous. CH is the only perfume I know that smells really sweet without smelling over bearing or tacky. It's the perfect blend between girly and womanly. Smells like a crisp, classy version of chocolate. I just wish it lasted longer because to me, it loses its power after 2 hours. Sadly. But still worth it.

I got a one today. Such a sweet and warm perfume. the most dominant note are citrus/lime and patchouli which make this perfume fresh and powdery.

This original CH for women (silver capped) is a flowery sweet seductive fragrance. I feel confident as a woman when I wear this. I don't know exactly why. It may be the sillage that surrounds me. Not a choking flowery scent. Jasmine, citrus and a fruity cinnamon dominates at the opening. The fresh watery rose and sugar I pick up in the middle. Also, I smell a little patchouli that is not overwhelming because I dislike patchouli scented fragrances. But, I love this. This is a keeper! I pick up woodsy musk and the continuation of the sweet flowers in the dry down. Lovely!

CH eau de toilette is a Señorita, with her sweet smile, teases you...invites you into her world. She loves the thrill of a chase but leads you on with her floral trail and sinful pralines. It starts with a fresh blast of Bergamot and Lemon introducing a revitalizing twist to a sweet composition. The heart is COLOURFUL with The Bulgarian Rose and Jasmine's rule grounded by the Cinnamon's earthy spice. The aromatic woods leave an impression of masculine edge that heavily contrasts with its feminine character at the base. Very CHIC with an aristocratic taste... Elegant...FUN-spirited...An absolute keeper!!!

fresh, sweet, soury, flowery, light woody and fresh spicy. what i get the most are lemon, bergamot, jasmine, patchouli, amber and praline. it is a very simple and very wearable perfume. absolutely for daily perfume.

Demasiado fuerte para mi nariz

I have a bottle to give away, I have bought many, many perfume bottles over the years, and this one is the worse, smells like a chip cigar, a very, very masculine perfume, just horrible, expensive and horrible.

Wow! CH Carolina Herrera took me by surprise! I expected it to be insipid, but I really fell for it! Citrus at the top and some fruitiness, paired with patcouli. Then, as it evolves, I get woods, some smokiness, suede and musk. I also get something like unsweetened chocolate and coffee. Lightly sweet, veers on the side of unisex. This strikes me as a potion. Mysterious, politely oriental (like Prada l' eau ambree or Bvlgari omnia), refined and bold at the same time. Stays close to the skin, so could even be office appropriate if you spray a good half hour before getting there. I will get myself a bottle when my Prada l' eau ambree runs out.
