Is it amber or something but it reminds me of cat's piss. Have felt it on others' skin and while wearing it myself. Awful.
I ordered a small 10 mL bottle of this from a reputable site, and was thoroughly disappointed, especially considering how incredible I find Love in Black by Creed to be. This smells cheap, terrible, and overpowering--the smell didn't fade for hours, which seems to often be the case with perfumes I hate the most. There was no complexity whatsoever. I suppose it does smell fruity, but in a truly horrible and confused way. I couldn't possibly recommend this.
Best feminine perfume ever
Absolutely beautiful opening. Crisp, fresh, and musky. I wouldn't call this close to Aventus, but it's got that same pineapple brightness to it. I would definitely buy a full bottle if it stayed like the first 20 minutes. The drydown isn't awesome. I can see why people say it's an old lady perfume. There's too much of a specific heavy note that just weighs down an otherwise fresh, light fragrance. All the best notes evaporate and you're left with a musky floral muddled citrus mess.
this morning I smelled my wrist and it was then, that I smelled a soft, ambery scent.... from distant meadows. but otherwise I have to finetune my first review. it appears the revieweuses before me were right. there gradually builds a wall of indistinct sharp fruItiness. a hesperidic hell. yet it is an enigma, this perfume. it keeps up appearances. if you make the misstake to keep smelling closeby you get the astringent, acidic, acridic monolithic wall of the apple and citruses. I am waiting for FLOWERS. rarely intermittedly some hushes of flowers appear: roses, a violet, and yet further away the ylang and lilac. these aren't demure flowers to begin with. but here they are totally subordinated to the harsh, 'blending', of the fruits and patchouli. but even the patchouli isn't discernable. and then it dawned upon me. Miss Aventus stands in the shadow of President Aventus. if you google 'Creed' you have to work through a junglist density of Aventus ads, images, reviews, contests etc. THEY HAVE TRIED, perhaps unwittingly, TO MASCULINIZE MISS AVENTUS or better: AVENTUS FOR HER. and perhaps then refeminize it again. now I am a homosexual man who never wears gents scents (samples of which I give to my heterosexual twinbrother). I am used to ULTRASTRONG PERFUMES, for instance Editions de Parfums Frederic Malle, Dominique Ropions 'al Waad', 'Promise'. they call it the rose from hell. cypriol keeps forcing itself forward for 8 hours, yet roses peer easily through cypriol, through oud, with a little help from civet or beaverisms. what it is here that is building such masculin wall, perhaps the combination of the green apple-black currant-patchouli. Creed is perfectly capable to make heavenly feminine perfumes. I bought Windflowers, very very sophisticated and flowery. the former Fleur de Bulgarie, Irisia, Tubereuse Indiana, Vanisia, Jasmin Impératrice Eugénie, all legendary feminine scents. yet I am stubborn and I smell in Aventus for her what Creed takes as a fresh, English, Ultracologne, feminine perfume. and I WILL WORK THIS.
I repeatedly keep reading people calling certain fragrances, old lady and grandma smelling. WTF is that even supposed to mean? My grandmother was a pot smoking beer drinking hippie and she always smelled like a floral Orchard so if that’s what an old lady/grandma smells like pick me. This is a beautiful Fragrance. Long lasting. So what does an old lady/grandma even smell like? enlighten me. 🤔 the old lady grandma comments do not decipher what notes your nose is picking up. If you can decider exactly what you perceived to be a old lady grandma scent, then you know how to talk about the notes that are in a Perfume .You’re just saying rude comments with absolutely no input on the scent, which is of zero help to anybody curious of the performance and actual scent. I don’t believe there is a note that is called old lady or grandma.
This smells like a man in the Caribbean. There is no apple, rose or peach. Just man scent. Dry down smells like wet alley cat.
I can’t understand why this was Aventus Woman, should have been Aventus Man II. Too masculine for my taste.
I've had several testers of this, and I love it. I got my testers from Creed...I always wonder if some people are getting perfume that's old and not well preserved. I don't get a metallic note from this, and I also don't find it unisex...it's all out womanly, sophisticated, fresh, and lovely. I pick up on the floral notes primarily, so it's a flower store scent for me, with some wood or amber at the bottom. The perfume is not for the girls that are used to the sweet fruity florals...they'd be disappointed in this. This is much more complex and refined, and I'd love to have a full bottle...I just can't afford it. I bought it! Better even than the samples now that it's sprayed. Just lovely. Love the amber drydown.
A very lemon forward floral. This is very sweet to my nose. It’s a beautiful fragrance, the lilac sent is outstanding, but it’s not groundbreaking. There are 100 if not thousand perfumes that smell just like this but much cheaper. Yes I like it a lot but you can get the same scent in cheaper brands. I’m probably a bit of a niche snob. Hence why I spent the money but you don’t have to. My nose find this very feminine leaning, but a confident man could rock this.
Like a man's cologne, sharp, metallicy and screechy. Should have been called "Not For Her" -Pass
This literally smells like a green apple slice dipped in peanut butter in all the wrong ways. Screechy and headache inducing nightmare. My boyfriends head flew back in disgust when he smelled this one 😭
One of my favorite OGs!
My signature perfume. Didn't like it at first sniff: felt too 'metallic'-y like a men's deodorant, but for some reason it kept calling my name. After finishing the 10ml sample from a giftset, I was in love. When I went to Sicily it felt like the pefume-equivalent of a puzzle falling into place. It's the most long-lasting freshie I've ever encountered, but the freshness is not cold. It's warm and cosy and nostalgic, like a spring morning in Sicily. The 30ml bottle I got was so good that I could make nausea/motion sickness go away just by sniffing my arm. My 75ml doesn't seem to have the same healing effect, but still smells the same. Hope it never changes.
Too matronly of a scent for my skin. I gave it to my Mama. She LOVES it!
found this too overpowering and patchouli was too strong for me
I adore this scent. It opens with a bright, citrusy wave (I get lemon and tart apple), flows into a green note with something spicy, almost metallic, then settles into a sexy amber with deep florals and elegant patchouli. The pineapple accord peeks through, adding a tangy sweetness. There is something powerful about this fragrance that screams, "bad bitch in the boardroom." I get a solid 6 + hours out of this one. It's expensive but worth it. I actually bought it blind because the notes sang to me, and thankfully I wasn't wrong.
Beautiful scent, i opened it a few hours ago and its already in my top 10 (im not an expert just a fan) If youre looking for a very wearable spring/summer perfume that makes you feel clean and pampered this is it. It reminds me of drinking a lemony gin tonic on a sunny balcony after a bath with expensive soap. I get lemon and bergamot and a touch of white peach and pink pepper in the opening, the drydown is very skin like and a little bit creamy/musky with the pink pepper peeking through. I will definitely wear this all spring. I have to say though be wary of over applying because it is quite strong. It makes me feel put together and feminine.
I don't have the OG nor have smelled it, but I do have the Dossier version (from years ago when they 1st started) and just got it out again from the depths. Fragrantica doesn't have it listed on here yet so I am wondering if anyone on here has been able to compare the two? I am not a fan of the Dossier version, Fruity Oakmoss. It's heavy, confusingly sweet, very musky, spicy & woody. It actually hurts my throat and eyes sniffing it. It really is not pleasant even though there's something there that makes you want to like it after it's out of your nose, you just can't after getting another whiff. It's elderly almost... maybe even medicinal? Is the OG this bad? Does it have the same kind of scent profile like this?
My skin doesn’t like it. All I get is woody notes. Old lady. I don’t smell flower notes , citrus notes etc. just old lady vibes. I wanted to like this so much.
Smells like heaven
I have always loved the aventus for men the king 😍 I am happy that I can use it now with notch of femininty ❤️ Simply love it and its different than most of the perfumes I have and I have ALOT.
This is spring sunlight in a bottle...Fresh, uplifting, cheerful. Sillage is just right, longevity is 6-8 hours. It has presence and is different.
Apple, Peach,Rose, Musk. I actually enjoy this one a lot along with the other aventus's's's's's (-Absolu :[ )
The best smelling of the female Creeds I tried. Retains the freshness associated with Aventus, whilst softening it with some light feminine notes, i.e. musk, sandalwood, and rose. It's versatile, without being flat. Despite what most people seem to say, I find this scent surprisingly complex, whilst being very palatable, without trying too hard. A perfect balance for a niche enjoyer who wants to go for a pleaser.
Crisp, fresh apple/lemon gives way to a lingering powdery woody musk- good but not amazing
Where's the pineapple? Where's the birch? Why no jasmine? :( Don't understand the ylang. Aventus seemed so easy to push to feminine. The men's fragrance is such a stunner. I honestly don't know about this one.. Does anyone have a suggestion for a better female version of Aventus? I want a non sugary pineapple scent for women.
its got that generic old woman perfume thing going on. professional ylang ylang.. i prefer horny ylang ylang but it definitely has a place. it would definitely work on a man too
Whenever I see patchouli in the description, i instantly know, this note will take the first violin and owerpower pretty much everything. This is no exception. Unfortunately, no matter how much I like the cozy smell of patchouli, it gives too much of an old lady vibes. I wish it was more subtle, just a hint in the background, but no - here it is "in your face" and makes this perfume as generic as any other patchouli perfume out there. Pass.
This fragrance combines fruity and floral notes. In the background, you can sense woody and musky tones that add elegance and longevity. It lasts quite a long time on the skin — around 6 to 8 hours, and even longer on clothes. The projection is moderate: noticeable to others but never overwhelming. It’s one of those elegant, lasting fragrances that leave a gentle trail.
