I like the fragrance. With that established I feel like it is a more classy version of CK1. There, I said it...go ahead and fight me if ya want.

Idk why, but for some reason it feels like there is a suggestion of oud in this. Maybe it's the cedar. Anyways, it's a nice fragrance. Not sure if full bottle worthy. I'd start with a decant first, honestly. Some sites can get it to you for nearly the same price per mL as the 100 mL from Creed, so just think about it. Also, if you can go to the Creed counter, just do that. Sometimes they will give you free samples with a purchase, granted it's an expensive purchase no matter what you buy from them. I got several free samples when buying a 100 mL of Royal Oud at Dillard's. That is actually how I'm able to review Himalaya now. It may not matter, but I'm a woman, and I just prefer the men's line of Creed for some reason. I like the strong woods, how dry some of the frags are. They are just different from the women's. Better, I'd say. If you like the wood in this Himalaya, try Royal Oud, it's slept on.

Like a mix of Green Irish Tweed and Egoiste Plantinum. And not as good as either of the two. Would much rather layer the two for a similar effect that would be stronger and more interesting.

A simple yet very pleasant citrus fragrance. It has a somewhat old-fashioned vibe. It seems to lean toward orange (which I really like), with a subtle sweetness in the background. Unfortunately, it didn't last on my skin—it completely disappeared after just a few hours.

Creed does some of the best recreation of bringing the scents of the outdoors to it's customers. himalaya to me does smell like i'm near the mountain-side taking in the fresh air. i'm thinking of wearing this for my upcoming trip to asia where there are mountains present.

An underrated gem, especially for high heat. Definitely evokes a cold and ethereal vibe, but in a pleasant, refreshing way.

Himalaya to me has a hint of Green Irish Tweed. Which similarity lessens as it develops but never fully leaves due to the prominent sandalwood and musk. It also shares similarities with Silver Mountain Water. Just like its grey metallic bottle sits somewhere between the black and white bottles of the forementioned fragrances, so the scent itself sits somewhere between the two. I find the three to be close siblings. So close that you can just about arrive at Himalaya through a process of elimination. It isn't as green or floral as GIT, nor as floral, fruity or herbal as SMW. Himalaya is like the base of the two turned into a stand alone fragrance with just enough added notes to give it it's own identity. It's a cool, citrus, creamy (kind of sour) sandalwood and clean musk with hints of soap. The quality ingredients and blending technique takes this traditional and simple style fragrance to Himalayan heights. I thoroughly enjoy it. While all three have high wearability, Himalaya due to its relative simplicity, may be the most versatile of the three.

Everyone calls this metallic and powdery but it's not. Everyone that I asked what this smells like to them they all said like FRUITS. A basket of tropical fruits. There's way more many notes than listed. In the AIR/SILLAGE this leaves an amazing tropical fruit basket scent, fruits that have been sitting in that basket for days and they become much more potent, similar to a basket of fruits you can smell from a distance after they have been sitting there for days. Up close to the nose it smells dense, almost sharp-citrusy-powdery and maybe in a gunpowder way. But in the air, in the scent trail itself it is completely different. The aromas in this fragrance makes someone sit near you and enjoy every whiff. Its mass appealing, alluring and very lovely. A true timeless masculine fragrance.

This thing is beast mode and room filling sillage. The dry down can last on your wool clothing for months, seriously. This perfume is Creed in a nutshell. Divisive, (nauseatingly) synthetic opening...then transforming into a radically different French powdery drydown that is complex and enjoyable. I hate Himalaya's initial metallic gunpowder + citrus blast but the drydown is excellent. I have used it as a wardrobe or clothes bag scent.

Creed #6 - Ice cold classic With a name like Himalaya, in my mind a brief was created. I was expecting a cold, minerallic, invigorating but also meditative and introspective scent. However, the reason why i was scratching my head is another Creed fragrance, Silver Mountain Water. In many ways, that one already checks most some of those boxes. Its cold, minerallic, invigorating and also nature inspired. Admitedly, out of the qualities i’ve mentioned, it falls short on the solitary, meditative and introspective aspects because its a perfectly fitting scent for social scenarios and doesn’t give me any “reclusive” vibes. Infact, i’ve mentioned in its review that Silver Mountain Water became my summer social-event scent when i want to keep it humble and well mannered. Once again i’ve seen myself building context and narrative on a perfume that i’ve yet to smell and that got me thinking what if that was a wrong point to start at in the first place. Sure enough, things aren’t as deep as i thought they would be and Himalaya is less evocative then i hoped for. Simply put, Creed Himalaya is a traditional masculine citrusy fougere and things don’t go much further then that. Atleast to my nose, there is no story told or even hinted at so from this point of view its dissapointing. However, on a technical level and from a strictly perfume’s point of view, things look different. Take a classic masculine, barbershop, green citrusy profile, the one we all know and encountered plenty of times, put it in a freezer and chill it down to sub-zero temperatures. Furthermore, magnify the build quality to far above average levels. If a high enough quality can transcend the limits imposed by a general lack of uniqueness then Creed’s Himalaya achieved that without doubt. I strongly suspected orange blossom being the source of the green nouance of the scent but to my surprise its not mentioned. It might be possible that the natural and high fidelity recreation of the citrusy accords themselves would give off the green tinge. Bergamot is an ellusive note to me but here its dominating the composition and its the best interpretation that i’ve smelt so far. My expectations were right about the effervescent and invigorating, cold qualities of the perfume. This fragrance in the heat of the summer would feel like a cold glass of lime water with ice in it, instant goosebumps. The question remains, is it different then Silver Mountain Water? In terms of where i would use it and how the perfume behaves, no, not drastically different. Scentwise tho they are standalone fragrances. Where Silver Mountain is more inky and relatively more colorful because of the blackcurrant, Himalaya is more traditional because of the green citruses. Altho Silver Mountain Water is also a cold perfume, Himalaya takes the coldness further, into icy territory. Owning both might be unnecessary but if i had to choose between the two i would have a hard time. On one hand i like the relatively more complex and different nature of Silver Mountain Water and its also surprisingly more evocative. On the other hand i greatly enjoy the authentic citruses and icy qualities of Himalaya. This manner of coldness is something that for a while i searched for but given up on, hency why i might prefer it overall to Silver Mountain Water. Both are mature fresh scentprofiles, less suited for a young audience and that is because of the lack of sweetness in both. My overall conclusion on Himalaya is a positive one, even if it lacks the storytelling because i realise that the story i tried to impose upon it was mine, not Creed’s.

Revisiting a decant 5ml I’ve had for over a year. Himalaya is such an easy scent. Office safe, signature scent worthy, effortless day or night scent. Maybe that’s why it’s scored so low. It’s not “groundbreaking”. Has the typical early 2000s DNA Creed base of Ambergris Musk and Sandalwood. Smells undeniably professional. And has this cooling effect that everyone talks about. It’s one of those beautiful captivating scents that grab you on the first spray. Ever since I had the decant. My issues was longevity. So to fix that, I sprayed probably 8–10 sprays from my decant on my neck, hands and shirt. And it lasts all day. Although not a pusher, it’s still there and smells elegant and professional. There’s no doubt about it, creed makes beautiful, high class perfumery. Quality ingredients don’t always last the longest. Just overspray. Solves the issue for me.

so underwhelming to me, smells nice but like some cheap deordorant or something..IF YOU CAN EVEN SMELL IT

Citrus, Musk and the smell of fresh sawn Wood perfectly harmonised. I’d highly recommend if you’re looking for a fresh and clean fragrance that stands out from your typical blues such as BDC/Sauvage. Aventus does exactly this but now being so common, an option such as Himalaya is a fantastic substitute. Clean, Masculine, Professional, Compelling. Very natural smelling scent with no signs of syntheticness as to be expected from a niche house. Fragrance doesn’t change too much throughout its performance apart from the Citrus dying down and being left with Musk, Wood and Amber. My bottle was from ~2016/17, lasted 12 hours with ~6 hours of projection. Would have loved to compare it to XS but now being discontinued and very hard to find I cannot comment.

After 3 Years of wearing this cologne I can say it’s 5-6 hours lasting and projects well for 3 hours,it’s mostly fresh bright musk and ambergris citrus punch with bright wood. It’s salty in drydown where it’s best. Very clean but not in a boring way,good for all year round less winter only,masculine

Get this if you like the bare-naked core of seemingly all light Creeds and even some heavier ones, and you for some reason don't want any heart at all or any of the extra top notes of more complex formulations. That's what this smells like: All it is is, just "that Creed thing" they all do, with no heart notes. It isn't doing anything other Creeds don't do and then some, with two exceptions: On the plus side, it performs better than some others and actually has a dry down and a couple hours' worth of legs before nothing at all is left, even on the skin. Additionally, this is quite "cedar forward" compared to other Creeds which are for the most part extensions of this recipe. But it's a top note and once it dries down, this fragrance doesn't even have that going for it as a differentiating element. They should have called this "Just Creed" or Minimalisme.

This seems like a nice alternative to Green Irish tweed. It doesn't have the green notes, but it would serve the same use cases and to my nose it uses the same musks. It's like GIT with increased citruses and a touch of platinum egoist. Very nice and IMO one of the best in the house. My only criticism is it's longevity, I get around 4 hours before it turns into a faint skin scent.

This is my jam. This is what I reach for when I want to smell clean , fresh and masculine. 5-6 sprays gets me through the day. The dry down is lovely, with a salty-ish ambergris note backed up with white musk pushing softly from the skin. Underrated gem in my opinion.

Iconic crisp, adventurous woody with grapefruit, pepper, sandalwood, and musk that evokes majestic mountain freshness and refined masculinity. Strong performer with excellent longevity and unique clean, airy vibe that's distinctly Creed. Masculine and elegant without heaviness. Best in cooler to mild temperatures, shining in fall and winter for its invigorating yet sophisticated profile.

I’ve left a review for this before but I’ve worn it for an extended period of time now… and my opinion is the exact same Extremely professional, steady, clean, confident masculine smell. You want your doctor or your lawyer to smell like this. Not many frills just a clean citrus musky scent. My favorite creed fragrance. Wear this to a job interview and you’ll get hired on the spot.

Not a big fan. Strong aire of Tide Pods and bounce dryer sheets. Hyper fresh, and similar to Sliver Mountain Water without the ozonic/metallic "zing." I prefer the more "older gentleman" offerings from creed

Love this and I'd wear year round

This is nothing but straight laundry detergent clean laundry smell. Couldn't imagine spending over $200 on this when you can just add an extra tide pod to your wash and then spray fabric freshener on it. That is exactly what this scent is.

I'll cut to the chase and just say that Himalaya is a slightly smoother Rabanne XS. I tested both out side by side on opposite wrists. Practically speaking, they're identical, down to the poor longevity and somewhat unpleasant, underlying sandalwood note. If you like this scent, save yourself a ton of money and buy XS. Seriously.

This one is so underrated. In the morass of the Aventusmania and the hype that surrounds their many freshies, a few fragrances get lost a little bit. I reviewed the wonderful Delphinus recently and Himalaya is an even better example. It is weird because you see the distinctive silver bottle in all the influencer videos in the background with their unfeasibly huge frag collections, but I don't think Ive ever seen a Himalaya review on YouTube. I don't think I've ever even heard it mentioned and this blows my mind. I like Silver Mountain Water (another one I've reviewed recently) and Virgin Island Water but find them both nice. "Nice" as in: they smell pretty nice and that is really all you can say. Himalaya is a much more involved and involving fragrance that has a lot more character and power, even if it is the same kind of wearable as these. Wearable, versatile, go-anywhere-do-anything fragrances are what Creed (rightly or wrongly) are known for and Himalaya is, in my opinion, their best in this DNA. Its closest relative in Creed's lineup is Green Irish Tweed I think, and Himalaya is better than that as well, in my opinion. It feels weird even to be describing what this smells like because it is a Creed and it stretches the bounds of credibility for me that anyone wouldnt know it instinctively by now, in the same way as with VIW, SMW and of course Aventus. That I need to describe this to you is testament to how slept on Himalaya is and I find that incredible. So what do we have here? In this lovely, heavy silver bottle we have a juice that - oddly - evokes silver mountain water much more than SMW. It is a hyper fresh, bracing scent that feels cold and refreshing on the skin even when it isn't. The notes would infer a citrus opening and it isn't that at all, just going to show that the notes on Fragrantica shouldn't be taken as gospel. Clearly there are citrus notes but the bergamot and slightly bitter grapefruit are there to stop the green, aromatic and slightly herbal notes from going like those anti-dandruff shampoos you used to see in the 80s. As it is it does evoke a really super fresh piney shower gel. I do not normally enjoy piney, cedary notes in my fragrances as I grew up in the 80s and I cannot ever fully escape the Magic Tree car air freshener vibe, but here it is nice and doesn't smell cheap or artificial. There is officially no pine oil in this according to the notes but I find that a little difficult to believe as I don't think cedar wood is strong enough to give us what we have here. The way the cedar, piney green notes work with the citrus here is really, really nice. It is so well judged, so well blended. The sandalwood in the bottom just anchors the whole thing and adds a deeper richness underneath that I really enjoy. It is a far better performer than it is given credit for. I get 6+ hours off this before it starts to fade off (it does better for me after I let it mature, initial performance was a little underwhelming but it improved a lot after a couple of months) and the drydown is very linear. It dries always fresh but with what little sweetness there is here moving out to the slightly bitter aromatics that approach fresh celery (not in a nasty way). It projects better than SMW and VIW and gets me more compliments as well. I usually prefer quite big, spicy, full on fragrances with a lot going on and this is so fresh that it feels unusual for those that know me and a couple of people have said this to me. Himalaya is a superb work fragrance but I tend to wear it more casually simply because I have many heavier fragrances I prefer for work. Another question is how unisex it is. I am not honestly sure it is. The notes here should be unisex but the juice itself leans quite heavily masculine to me and my partner said the only way she'd wear it is if she was missing me and wearing one of my sweatshirts while I'm away on business or something. I'd be interested to hear your opinion on this. I think this is less unisex than it seems. There are a lot more freshies in this profile that are much more unisex in my opinion, even from Creed themselves. For my money I really enjoy this, despite the eye-watering price tag for the 100ml - US$490 for the 100ml, although you can sometimes see them on discounters for less. It is probably my favourite Creed and is well worth checking out. And you won't smell like every other Aventus fanboy! Three Word Summary: Cold Mountain Greenery Scent - 7/10 Sillage - 7/10 Drydown - 6/10 Bottle/packaging - 7/10 Performance - 7/10

Don’t see what the point of this one is when you have a timeless masterpiece like GIT. This literally just smells like a more harsh grandpa version & isn’t as bright as the legend GIT.
