Miss Dior Eau de Parfum (2017)

It's elegant in that casual, office way. It's nice, but very simple. I would wear this, but it's a bit too sweet for my taste, and it's just so plain. It's a great signature perfume, though. It's perfect for someone who just wants to smell like something nice, buys it because they heard it's good and just sprays it on every morning.

Omg, this was a dislike based on tester in a Sephora - it had an awful, dusty, chemical smell that I considered an abomination but today I opened my recent purchase, a new virgin bottle that was supposed to be the 2021 formula but is actually this 2017 and it is exactly how my beloved Miss Dior 2013 eau de toilette smells. Just sweeter and more substantial. Radiant, pink, cheerful, light. Pure love. Miss Dior as I wanted it to be. Flowers and candy floss. Nowhere near the honeyed original Miss Dior Cherie but preserving its soul without any sticky, sugary, spilled strawberry lemonade effect of Christine Nagel creation, which was my love upon release but I reluctantly wore it because of this effect on my skin and it is still 80% full. I decided to buy a Demachy version cause I love his creations and wow, it did not disappoint. It is not that far from Blooming Bouquet, too. Indeed perfect for a young person. Iconic. To my sensibilities it is perfect for spring and should do well in summer, if not during a day then surely for an evening. It is perfect for any occassion, perfect for a bride but delicate enough for an office or university, and also for a date. A signature. In ideal world they should re-release Miss Dior Cherie and keep the Demachy Miss Dior 2017 impression. Because why not? Surely they sell, they are so good. The Cherie one was an abundance and passion. It is missed till today and a scent for special occassions. This is subtle and a bottled sweet girliness. I feel mainly roses and jasmine. I dont know the 2012 version or the 2021 version as I had no Miss Dior shortage but now I need to test for differences with the 2021 one and if it is different buy it before Kurkdjain will turn Miss Dior soulless like his Jadore versions. Which are pretty but without distinct character or style. Just an avalanche of flowers. Btw, my bow is metal not plastic. I feel it on myself for 8 hours. I am so happy I have it!

For those looking for a dupe of this discontinued fragrence, I have one for you to try. I purchased it about a year ago and I've been really happy with it. If you would like an oil version, search "OilPerfumery Impressions of Miss Dior (2017)". They offer it in 10 ml roller balls that are pre-filled (never had an issue with leaking while shipping) or 60 ml dropper bottles that come with an empty roller ball vial you can fill and refill yourself. They ship internationally from Canada, but just be aware if you're ordering from the U.S. you will be responsible for tariff charges as well, which will come as a seperate bill in the mail from Fedex weeks after delivery (annoying...). If you would prefer a spray version, or want to avoid tariffs, their sister company Oakcha has "Pure Veil" available. I highly suspect they just mix the oil perfumery blends with perfumer's alcohol, so it's essentially the same thing, but in a 50 ml spray. I apologize in advance for their spammy advertising. OP (and Oakcha to a lesser extent) don't let their blends develop fully before shipping, like the original perfume houses do. I'm testing my Miss Dior almost a year after purchase and while I can't say what it smelled like when it first arrived, I can tell you now it's grown incredibly close to the original.

Elegant spicy orange. Pretty good. Better than other miss diors. I have the rollerball version and it smells yummy on the skin.

Tg someone duped this gem. I like this brand. Most scents really so smell the same but stronger. And the tend to only dupe expensive, DC or too new, and very hard to find originals per se.

I hated this. I bought it thinking, foolishly, that it would smell like the Miss Dior I had in my youth as I wanted to revisit that scent. It was nothing like it. I finished the bottle as quickly as I could so as not to waste it, but I found it sickly sweet and cloying. It’s a good thing that it seems to have been superseded by other versions (why are there so many perfumes called “Miss Dior”?). I also found the plastic silver bow on the bottle rather tacky. It has put me off purchasing other Dior perfumes, though in my youth I remember having Diorella and Diorissimo, enjoying them both and managing to finish the bottles.

I guess a way of describing this version, is kind of a baby oil type of scent. But the batch code is the final boss, especially if this was a gift. The new one is more of a soft fruity floral .

Sure as hell smells floral and citrus, strongly so. Doesn’t smell like a grandma scent to me. Not really a perfume I’d wear but it doesn’t smell bad

I have the 2017 Miss Dior EDP version with silver metal bow. I would describe it as a sweet and very classy rose patch perfume. It has a strong sweet orange lemon citrus opening that is such a positive uplifting note. Alongside is balancing pepper note that sounds a wake up call. These notes hover a bit and are quickly joined with gorgeous roses. I have sweet pink old Persian Damask Rose bushes in my garden called “Banshee” because they were discovered decades ago in a cemetery in Northern Colorado. That is what I smell and it delights me. Dries down to Patchoulli woody base that gradually fades down after 6 hours. I love the 2017 version but have not tried any others. It is very feminine and a bit formal. I would not wear it in a business setting but otherwise travels nicely day into night - best for spring into summer.

Well, this is confusing. So I was gifted the edp - the cardboard box and fabric ribbon clearly making it as the 2021 version, right? The batch code 4M01 seems to stand for 2024-12 (which is significantly after 2021). And the scent opens with an explosion of pink pepper. No fruit, just spice slowly fading into some floral. (Also no over-aggressive patchouli.) But if it was simply old formula in the new bottle I would expect the colour to be different - mine is pale pink (like 2021 should be), while the pictures show 2017 to be more rich orange? I am happy it smells the way it does - I do love the scent of pink pepper (and spices) on a cold day (RIP Zara Ebony Wood original formula). Regardless of what it is I'll probably enjoy it more than I would the true 2021 edp - I just wish it was less confusing. I'll pretend it is the 2017 that I have because the notes listed here actually align with what I smell. (Or did they reformulate again without telling anyone?)

First, I have to say, I’m not certain this is the version I have. My batch code is 3U03 which came back as 2023! It has peachy juice and the silver hard plastic bow, and based on the notes, I’m pretty sure it’s this one. OMG! It is absolutely beautiful! It’s everything a sexy sophisticated woman would want to smell like! I don’t find it overly sweet, I can absolutely detect a fresh patchouli in the base. It’s warm and fresh at the same time, not a typical fruity floral. It has a gorgeous woody note that grounds this and brings in elegance. This version is way better than the current version in my opinion! I wish they did not reformulate it, but I’m happy to have this one in my collection! I’ll have to save it for special occasions! Edit- I checked another batch code checker which said this batch was July 2013, not 2023. So I’m now unclear. I don’t know what version I have, if anyone can help clarify. I love this one! 1/6/26 Ok, the curiosity was killing me, so I purchased another bottle. Batch code 8A02. It came back as 2018 so I figured this was definitely the 2017 formulation! Plus it has that deeper amber juice. It smells different than the one I reviewed here initially. Mind you, I just opened it so it may need to settle from transit. This one is more patchouli forward and more pink pepper in the opening. I like it! But whatever version I have originally is the one I love!! So confusing!

This is my second review of this perfume. I reviewed down below about owning the 2017 batch code and how special that specific years batches are(other years are not the same sweetness). This perfume feels like me. I love the patchouli deep dark undertones that perfumes now a days lack. Some people smell patchouli and think old people lol. I adore that scent profile so much(im 36) 😍 still so sad they discontinued this beauty. Longevity is perfection(how a perfume should be) and the way it floats around you like a beautiful scent bubble should. This is pretty girl, girl next door yet flirty, I got it together girl 🩷 I never leave 2 reviews but I still feel the same way. Oh! And the compliments from others....I feel horrible when I tell others it's discontinued. I never gate keep but I guess this will be my special perfume because I never smell others wearing this. Unique in comparison to what's popular in today's standards. I wear what I like.

I just received in the mail a few days ago and used bottle of this. That was in very good condition. And I must say this is such an absolutely gorgeous scent. It has that classic timeless perfume smell that I love without being mature or dated or too vintage. It’s not like today’s modern perfumes, but it’s not way too old-fashioned. Either. It is just a perfect sophisticated perfume for a woman in her 30s or even 40s that smells sexy, alluring, sweet, clean feminine. I adore this stuff and I’m so sad that the formula has been changed because I also have a very small bottle of the newer version and it is not quite the same at all. Now I’m going to be forever on the hunt for well priced Bottles of this given that it is discontinued.

This is very pretty and girly, while staying elegant. It’s a non-offensive floral and I can’t imagine anyone not liking it. If I had to describe it to someone, I would probably call it a church girl perfume, in a good way.

I can describe it in one word - cute. Longevity is very good, the blend is excellent. In my opinion, its a very professional, princessy fragrance for younger age woman, or even a little lady.

Does anybody know some budget friendly Arab dupe of this fragrance or another dupe house that is selling internationally.

Stunningly flirty and floral. The pink pepper note is certainly the most strong to me, but I still find it cohesive with the citrus and rose. I have only had a small tester, but I think about it often. Just so young and lovely.

Stunning perfume, so sad that it is discontinued. I guess you can’t find it in any stores in Europe, but at smelled it in American sephora and it smells heavenly. First I thought it smelled like kombucha, which is totally fine (I would love to smell so), but now I can pick up citrus and roses 💕 it is perfect!!

Pure citrus and roses. I've had this perfume for ages and although it is rarely ever my first reach, I find it refreshing, breezy and elegant. To my nose it can feel a bit unisex too, there's a certain note I can't discern - maybe the bergamot, jasmine or rosewood? - that can feel a bit screechy and overpowering. I still think it's a lovely clean perfume that can be all occasion and especially comforting in spring, for work, for daytime events, etc.

Did you think this perfume smelled like La Vie Est Belle or Flowerbomb?

This will always be one of my first fragrance loves. I got a little sample back in 2017 with my Dior purchase, which was a few years before I discovered my love for perfumery. I sprayed it on my wrist and smelled it far before it dried down and thought it just smelled like a citrus perfume. After an hour or so, I kept getting whiffs of this beautiful, warm, sweet rosy smell and was shocked it was the same fragrance from earlier. Something in this turns so sugary on my skin. It's like a caramelized brown sugar note on top of the blood orange and rose. Now that my nose is far more trained to pick out notes, I sense more of the patchouli in the dry down as well. This is just such a lovely warm rose perfume and it will always have a special place in my heart.

This fragrance is pure class... and that's coming from someone who's not crazy about any of the leading notes in this blend. I've tried many scents in search of what to me embodies quintessential Western femininity, and no matter how far down the rabbit hole I go, I keep coming back to this one. It's adequately complex and so nicely balanced. This is one of those rare perfumes that suits just about any occasion. Dress her up, dress her down... if you're friends with Miss Dior EDP (2017), she's ready for anything, anywhere, anytime. She's the +1 you're always at ease bringing along, because if she makes an impression, it's going to be a good one. The citrus in the opening is soft and luscious, not sharp or astringent. The rose is ever present, but it's ladylike and very modern; more of a bright orange rose (like the juice) than a heavy red rose. The patchouli is oh so tastefully measured, and it never becomes overpowering. This scent is... was... near perfection. I sorely regret that I didn't begin my fragrance journey until after this was discontinued, because it would've been in my 'Top 10 For Life' hands down. Oh, Dior... Absolutely worth tracking down a bottle online if you can!

I got this perfume at the end of 2018 on a whim and now I have the tiniest bit of juice left and it makes me soooo sad. This was my moms signature scent so I wear this if I'm missing her or if I want to smell something comforting. I can't believe it's been re-formulated again. I decided to spray some on myself today and I can smell the rosy florals and patchouli. I am getting some musk as well. It's kind of sweet on my skin too which I love. This is a 10/10. I will save this for as long as possible since I can't get this anymore.

Spicy roses and citrus with a supporting patchouli. It has some of that effervescence I associate with Miss Dior, but with the citrus factor dialed up much higher with a nice creaminess from the rosewood. Reminds me a bit of Coco Mademoiselle in the opening, very much a Chanel-esque intro. This is best in warm weather, can't be too hot or cold. Lasts all day on my skin, sits slightly above arm level.

The first time I tried this, I held out some hope, for all of five minutes as I sauntered away from the store, it smelled of the most wonderfully fragrant Turkish rose.... Until the scent transformed before my very nose into some crap I've smelled here, there and everywhere a million times before. A real shame. ABHOR.

It's okay but nothing new. Still one of the best dior perfumes due that citrus top note, reminder of Chanel dna.
