Miss Dior Essence

Very basic sadly. flat and lacking nuances, syrup in the face that's all. I enjoyed blackberry in petit robe noir but this is nowhere near it. Maybe for teenagers.

Rosey gorgeous fruits, dense thick BARBIE PINK syrup, long longevity even on skip and works for all reasons except the heatwave summers; anything 30 Celsius onwards is a nono. Floral bright uplifting, addictive and soothing. It smells like it looks, PINK yummy, mouth salivating goodness. LOVE and would recommend it

Tried it in the store a couple weeks ago and I have not been able to stop thinking about it. I loved the jammy, fruity smell. The bottle is adorable but unfortunately the price is an issue for me :')

I loooooooooooooooove LOVE Dior fragrances. My love affair with perfume start with Dior. Forgive me, but this one is a miss for me. I blind bought it and returned it. It’s an overload of notes and harsh. I gave it my best shot and it did not grow on me.

Damn shes goregeous. The projection & longevity on this is litteraly insane, i had a Testing Strip on the side of my bed and it projected for 3 straight, and on skin i couldnt take it off, i think its a high quality perfume that deserves so much more love.

Simple and a bit unique. Sweet but not too much, decadent, realistic blackberry, with woody and white floral in the background. Lovely :)

What I would generally categorize as a “traditional” perfume: it’s strong, feminine, floral. What’s unique is the very prominent fruity/jammy note overtop the florals, like a fresh jar of raspberry jam. The perfume is so strong, however, that I can’t think of many situations where it wouldn’t bowl people over.

Love Love Love Got a tester from Sephora 🩷 she is beautiful. Sweet and fruity. I'd say she's overpriced but I will perchase. Glad she doesn't smell like the OG I really don't like it.

Tried it on paper. It reminds me of guerlain petite robe noire blue bottle. Didn;t look up the notes and it seemed that I could smell sweet rose and patchouli, but very well balanced. Was surprised to see the notes, that it doesn;t have any of these.

sweet and fruity. almost bougie. like a nice cocktail on a hot summer day. you can immediately tell the berries scent. however, i can see this some people a headache cause like it said, sweet and fruity. nothing else, lol. it starts with a bang but fades rather quickly. (it’s reminding me a little of the lady gaga fame perfume)

I really love this one! It smells like blackberry jam with white florals and woods. It was love at first sniff!

This smells similar to Penhaligon’s Daphne Bouquet, but with added complexity (shocker, that one is a niche). Daphne Bouquet begins pretty much the same to Miss Dior Essence, but sadly it doesn’t seem to have middle notes or base notes, and doesn’t last a long time. This one’s middle note is jasmine, which is where it starts to smell different to Daphne Bouquet, but the jasmine is so realistic and elegant which offsets the immaturity of the top notes. It’s amazing, and it smells like a niche.

Let me preface this my saying this is not my usual kind of thing. I'm usually a Rosie by Rosie Jane/Chloe/Penhaligons Luna sort of girl but I received a sample free with an order and thought I would test it. I applied it at 9am and the projection and longevity is unbelievably outstanding. My 7 year old son adores this one too. I have nothing like this in my collection so I will definitely be getting a full bottle. It's juicy, fruity and sweet.

What can I say? I am a fan! I walked past the Dior counter at the department store the other day and thought, ah, what does Miss Dior smell like these days, and then I came across MD Essence. I sprayed and couldn’t stop smelling the card, so I sprayed my wrist. Next day I went to the mall and sprayed my arm at another store, decided to let it sit for the day. A woman chased me down, begging to know what I was wearing. I let her smell my arm and she’s is like, I have to have this. I’m thinking, me too! We laughed and then she chased me again, so she could write down the name, didn’t want to forget. Next I stopped at a niche fragrance counter. Man at the counter helping smelled me & couldn’t believe it was Dior. Later that day I bought a full bottle. It’s not very Miss Dior, but it is certainly MFK. Lasts an eternity. Layers great with woody scents!

I feel i must write something in this perfume's defense as i've seen so many dislike it. I've just bought a full size after a few freebie samples of it. It was a bit pricey especially as it seems to be aimed at a younger audience. I find it to be a very unique take on a girly smell. Its rare that something can smell so feminine and so distinctive at the same time. When I first smelt it, i was convinced there was a note of violets in there but after wearing for a while its creamy fruity and woody with a splash of jasmine. my skin naturally has a milky smell to it which interracts with perfumes sometimes but i think it takes the hashness out of this one. I've had so much joy layering this one - it always outlasts whatever I layer it with and adds a unique element to more basic musky perfumes. Ive loved it most with kayali boujie marshmallow and elizabeth arden green tea xxx

I love the bottle design! I was expecting an elegant and classy scent. However, it's very sweet and fruity. I don't like it. I don't like the way Miss Dior has been changed... a very wrong direction! I loved Miss Dior before, I had the EDP (2017 and 2012 plus Cherie). But since then it's just sweetness, fruits and meh... Please bring Francois Demachy back to Dior...

I got this as a sample off Sephora and even before spraying it, I was so excited to have a new favourite fragrance as I could smell it around the nozzle. It smelled like raspberry syrup and raspberry pieces you sprinkle on white chocolate so of course I wanted to have a spray on my arm! So I did — and it's unfortunately not for me due to the note of jasmine which I've never been a fan of in perfumery

Smelled amazing in the store. Blackberry and woods. Really, really good. I tested it on a paper strip. Then the dry down happened, and the scent changed completely. What remained on the paper strip was a cheap fruitchuli, - like a cheap Barbie perfume for little girls from Zara. SO disappointed! Not blind buy safe. Very glad I didn’t buy this based on the initial spray..

It smells really sweet and girly, lovley good, just a little to thick and heavy I think It’s the wood, a little dizzyfying. I think I just overall don’t like wood in perfumes, so it might be that, so I wouldn’t wear it but if it didn’t have that thick wood dizzy thing in the back I might have just made it my one of my favorites! It’s for real that good

Elegant classy berry beautiful fragrance but it’s only a special Occasion fragrance for me .

this smells soooo amazing omfg like eating black raspberry jam on toast that god himself made in the garden of eden. it has a similar jammy/pastry note as the miss dior parfum which i love, but instead of strawberry jam it’s blackberry jam and you can actually smell a difference in the fruits which is surprising. just smells addicting

it's like a weird synthetic elderberry. i put this one before work and im trying to scrub it off rn, thank goodness this was a free sample

On me it is such a mess. Dry dust and other chemicals. Nothing from the notes listed. Something vaguely floral, just awful. Close to a hard candy. I remember I had such dust effect with Miss Dior 2017 upon its release but now I love it and it no longer feels dusty. Here is hope this will get better with time in the bottle. So far a dislike. And after the good J'adore Intense and L'Or that smell all natural I am disappointed with Miss Dior Essence by Kurkdjain. It is also very close to my skin in 25°C weather but gently projects at 4 hours mark, when I thought it might be gone. Gets better with wear, less dusty and chemical. I must say that Kurkdjain somewhat captured Miss Dior's soul that is missing from the green and irisy Miss Dior 2021 edp. This does not fall far from Miss Dior Parfum soul-wise but seems redundant to me.

i adore this perfume, its a tart jammy blackberry marmalade with incredible longevity and sillage! has an earthy woodiness in the dry down as well that helps it from being too juvenile. you have to be a big fan of deep fruity scents to enjoy this one. i love layering it with berry styles from snif <33

I sprayed this to test at a department store and it’s very…odd. There’s a note here that smells like some chemical spill with berries thrown on top. Maybe something was wrong with the bottle I sprayed, or I’m picking up on something that no one else is. With the right branding and copy it’d be interesting, though I don’t know why anyone would want to smell like this.

This is so faint and watered down. To me it feels like the creator of this was bored and was so light with the berry notes that nothing really happens when the scent is unleashed. Its generic and indecipherable from other light florals, no projection....no longevity. Very Meh. Its so beyond expensive also so not sure what they are going for. Honestly if you are craving dark berries theres so many cheaper stronger fragrances out there that will keep you from wasting money on a super expensive fragrance.

I just can't with all MD flankers... I really just think of all of them like "old lady product", I cannot understand all the fuzz they make of it. In this particular case, MD Essence, I can give it a decent rate: "Ok". It lasts a looooot, and it gives more a fruity scent rather than floral, so... Meh, ok.

Smell like a strong marmelade. Very fruity i don’t delecte any floral notes. Very strong and long lasting

I love blackberry! I've tested it 3x now. Very strong for a short time, sweet berries with heavy woods. All of the notes are great, It just seems really out of balance to me, like it's trying to be a strong men's fragrance but, with extra sweet berries. I wanted to like this.

I was feeling depressed and sprayed this on. Fruity candy dopamine! I really like this, and while I love classic scents like Chanel Coco, frankly I think we need more of these kinds of well done candy scents (real ones - as in, Ariana's Sweet Like Candy was still not candylike enough for me).
