It is a photorealistic garden scent if it wasn't for all the powder. For someone who doesn't like powder-forward perfumes, I still quite like this one. Nothing screechy or cloying about it. The sillage also seemed decent. I would appreciate smelling it on other people.

Smells very clean and powdery. It reminds me of soap, or my grandma's toiletry bag. Delicate flowers mixed with soft powder and a clean, soapy scent. I actually like it, but is it worth $200? I'm not so sure.

Irish spring soap as perfume..........good but Just trust me on this 🧼🫧🧽🧼🫧🫧🫧🫧

First impression is Glossier You babywipes. I do like You and I’m a sucker for aldehydes but I’m not sure if this is the right combination for me personally. Can see why it’s a crowdpleaser though, easy to wear and non offensive to the max.

This is a chic fragrance that feels beautifully rigid, sophisticated, and melancholic. Its rigidity stems from a dry, chalky iris and crisp aldehydes, creating a starched-collar effect. The lack of sweetness makes it so chic and sophisticated. The feeling of this perfume is also very melancholic. The cool iris paired with the earthiness of the ambrette makes me envision a rainy day. This is clean, crisp and cool like a perfect chilly day!

Such a lovely, pepper musk smell. Glossier You's older sister.

I love this one! My signature scent. Funny reading the comments some people said it has grandma vibe. To me it smells like my 10 months old son. You know the baby scent that makes you fall in love with them.

Modern, clean, cool, airy, safe for office, austere. Another banger from Diptyque. People seem to be evenly divided on if this is similar to Glossier You and as someone who owns the original formula, I do think it has some similarities. This one is more evolved but also pretty faint on my skin. Soft and almost undetectable musk plus some fancy lab molecules. A touch of powder iris and do I smell the carrot? I don't get a majority of the notes but it is working some magic.

Classy professional somewhat melancholic and cold yet familiar and comforting powdery musky scent, smells like a classy mature figure in your life who seems somewhat serious and strict and unapproachable at first glance, until you find out they're very warm and kind and loving underneath it all

Absolutely stunning skin scent. It reminds me of Retrospect by Merit or You by Glossier. It is a plush, creamy, faintly cosmetic like scent skin scent. It smells like waxy vintage lipstick it the most beautiful way. I find it truly additive.

I really didn’t want to love this but to my nose it’s unfathomably divine. Aldehydes and Iris are my addiction. Wish my sweat smelt like this. To anyone who’s says vintage/grandma I’m sorry but you’re boring.

This is another fragrance that's a mystery to me. I love most Diptyque scents. Based on the notes, Fleur de Peau should totally be my jam. But LORDY it smells like overpowering grandma to me. I bought a decant and I haven't even sprayed it yet, but just sitting in my office, it made the room smell like you are entering an assisted living home with a bunch of residents who try to use too much perfume to coverup the distinctive adult diaper scent. I'm clearly in the minority on this fragrance, and I hope to one day figure out what in particular ruins this for me.

my love my baby i will never part from this. i’m on my fourth bottle, cheers to many more. i have gotten compliments wearing this, this perfume to me is a hug, it’s my protective shield before i step out the house, it works in every environment and season. it reminds me of cold white blankets after a warm shower

I don't know what happened but after wearing my sample of this for a few days I fell in love and ended up ordering a full bottle. I tried the EDT and the EDP and enjoyed both, but the EDT only lasted about an hour on my skin. Funny enough it does actually smell a little like carrots until it fully dries down. After the dry down, this fragrance started to smell magical on me. This really is the perfect skin scent. It's musky yet clean in a way that isn't screechy. I could imagine my sheets smelling like this or even wearing it to bed. This is a classic fragrance done in a modern way. I think I'm becoming a big Diptyque fan.

Overpriced Glossier You with added aldehydes. I definitely get the "mom" and "comfort" associations, but in a very modern & unsophisticated sort of way. The aldehydes vaguely remind me of my maternal grandmother's perfume. However, whereas Grandma Bunny always looked & smelled extremely elegant, FDP is far too sweet and warm to be refined. I've read many comments claiming it's on the colder side, but I think that's a blind assumption based upon the fact that it contains iris, carrot and a bit of bergamot. With all the ambrette and aldehydes, I find it to be closer to Chanel #5. If you want a truly cool iris skin scent, try Prada Infusion d' Iris. Update: I do give Fleau de Peau credit for longevity. Glossier You disappears almost immediately on me, but this smells better on my skin the longer I wear it & left my clothing smelling sweet & cottony, as though I'd dried them with an excess of Downy April Fresh.

Initially I liked it but it has something really odd in the undertone :/ I was really appalled by it

soapy iris! i think this is lovely and it was a big hit with other people -- i got a lot of compliments wearing this :) gorgeous and gentle iris that begins in quite a clean way and then slowly blends with the skin to form a beautiful aldehydic musk. like a very luxurious hand cream.

Анонім★★★★★

This confirmed my hatred for aldehydes - they completely overwhelm and ruin this fragrance for me. Hopefully I'll have better luck with the edt because I do enjoy the dry down

Анонім★★★★★

It's clean and a bit soapy smelling. Very fresh, but not in a citrusy way, more like fresh laundry. It's not really my kind of scent (I'm more into citrus and florals) but it's pleasant, and I think it would be difficult to find someone who hates it. It would be good for someone that works closely with other people and doesn't want to offend anyone.

I used to adore this perfume - to me, the carrot note was so strong that I had fun little imaginings of being a bunny and playing around in dirt. But one day something broke in my brain, and now all I can smell is Sweet Tarts. It's possible my decant just went bad, but regardless, it definitely lost its charm for me. I never understood the comparison to Glossier You... I found the carrot note gives Fleur de Peau a real earthiness whereas Glossier You feels a bit more sharp and airy, so to speak.

Анонім★★★★★

Glossier You but with aldehydes. I love it. Smells like you just got out of the shower after using a super expensive bar of soap at an upscale resort.

Анонім★★★★★

Has anyone tried the lotion?

When I first tried this, it reminded me of spring breaks spent at a fancy hotel in Southern California. I described it as good but not great, finding some note or ingredient I couldn't name but that I knew wasn't working for me. After it dried down, it smelled distinctly like when you're dating a boy and you smell his hair and scalp and he hasn't yet showered today. With wear, it grew more powdery, but I also started to pick up a damp mossy note. I picked it back up today, and was able to identify the note that doesn't work for me― something that feels grape-y, something I've also noticed in not one but two Juliette Has a Gun fragrances― Sunny Side Up and Ode to Dullness. My sense of smell is more refined this year than last, so what I first thought was powdery I would now describe as soapy. It's pretty and feminine and there's nothing wrong with it, it just isn't exciting or fun to me.

Анонім★★★★★

If you like smelling clean with a hint of musk, this is for you, I honestly love the cleanness of this perfume!

Анонім★★★★★

The first scent association i got from this was a hug from my mom during my childhood years. This is exactly what it smelled like. To me, it’s a dry powdery musk iris perfume, i do get the “carrot” note, especially when i first got it. Now a year later my nose doesn’t register it as much. The ambrette, carrot and pink pepper notes give it that dry effect, but it’s never sharp or unpleasant. Fleur de Peau Is simply exquisite. It’s tidiness in a bottle. I love it so much.

I have the 200 ml limited edition bottle if anyone in Europe is interested. Never used

Анонім★★★★★

the cool girl in class who you pine over for ages just to realize she's not attracted to whatever gender you are. rip. and then you can never smell iris again without thinking about her hair

If there's anyone based in Belgium and willing to commute to Antwerp... I'm selling a barely used (and well-stored) 75ml bottle :) dm me!

Анонім★★★★★

It's my night time scent. It's like spraying a hug on yourself. Comforting like a mom's embrace.

This is a very beautiful aldahydic Iris/root carrot that turns clean and soapy. Think modern version of aldahydes. Gets a little creamy like a silky lathererd expensive soap. This is such a beauty. If this scent were a woman she would be beautiful, chic, and effortless without trying.(I'm also in my 30's, no old lady in sight)
