on initial spray it smells like a beautiful white chocolaty -vanilla but dries down to the most disgusting citrus orange.

I dont know where do people get a "lemon cake/pie" scent from this, i believe you guys are all under spells, i was so hyped for this as a lemon gourmand lover but it just smells like an orange/honey soaked cake? Which is nice but its a heavy scent and not a "lemon pie" at all, smells like a cake soaked in a syrup.. like a cake my family would make on jewish holidays? Very "oriental" I guess? And mature not what I was expecting but I get why people like it, its just not for me

I loved this for the longest time but lately I find it too sweet. To me it's the filling of a lemon pie, with lots of merengue on top, and a looot of orange blossom. Sadly it's become a bit headache inducing.

You know how the Italians invented opera, this is opera in a bottle, invented by an Italian house. When I first tested this, the opening was like a soprano singing at me full force, that is the visual and sensation that was evoked. Jarring, I was pleasantly shocked. Once this settles it stays as a linear (don’t mind linear) dense, slightly bitter candied lemon and baked lemon fruit cake, not fresh lemon and not fresh out of the oven. It’s a bit of a chameleon, mostly I get lemon panettone (I happened to have it in the house when testing this and they smelled the same as each other.) At other times it sheers out a little and gives the drink Lemon, Lime and Bitters, sparkly and bitter but still very sweet. I’ve never gotten the pana cotta as listed. This is Sylvia from La Dolce Vita. Blonde, full bodied but wearing a gold Sacred Heart medallion staying true to her Italian roots. This is ideal to warm up Spring while it’s still cool but is also a rare gourmand that works in Summer too. Brava Bella! 💛🧡🍋🍰🥮🥂✨💃✝️

Whoever said this smells like Kilian's Love Don't Be Shy but more citrusy was spot on. It's quite long lasting like LDBS as well. I didn't think I would love this as much as I do (because I don't particularly like lemon as a note in fragrance) but it is gorgeous! The citrus accord is more of a dessert citrus than a zesty one. This is probably why I like it tbh.

I'm sorry but this one is so sweet it's nauseating. I'm not getting any of the notes at all and it's just pure SUGAR. Had to scrub it off

How disappointing! I was eager to get this and I love the smell- in the beginning very lemony, sweet citrusy later sweet and cozy, thoe a bit too simple and subtle. I wish sweet citrusy notes stayed a bit longer. But longevity is HORRIBLE! I can VERY faintly feel it after 5-6 hours maximum. But to say I feel it normally (not having to sniff and think “hm, does it still smell or not”)- I only feel that for like 2-3 hours! I am not sure about sillage, but I wouldn’t say it’s too great neither! Very disappointing.

I have love-hate relationship with this one. The first spray is absolutely atrocious to me, to the point it's almost unbearable to apply it again. I sprayed it on my clothes and it took way too long to air out but that's when the sweet side kicked in. I was constantly feeling it and was surprised it could be the one. I'm still debating if I should return it or no...

All I smell is a burned, bitter, sharp, sugared lemon. It is too overwhelmingly and sickeningly sweet. Wearing this feels like a walking, sickeningly sweet lemon pie.

Aah this scent is complicated in my mind. The candied lemon is so prominent! But everything else about it is right up my alley- that lemon though, it does NOT go away. An absolutely incredibly positive note for all lovers of sweet citrus, but lemon notes have Never called to me. Good to have tried it, reminds me of flan beneath the lemon

The first spray is an absolute LEMON drizzled with sugar and salt. Then after five minutes the lemon calms down slowly and the vanilla emerges more and blends with lemon slowly. The vanilla in here is the kind of vanilla i usually love—creamy, fuzzy, powdery and comforting. Overall, it’s very lemony, salty, tangy, vanill-y, powdery and a bit warm. Very suitable for summer! Not too cloying. After more than an hour at least i like the left over vanilla. It smells nice, however i don’t think I wanna smell too tangy like sweet & sour candies. I need time to work with it.

I wear this to bed! I spray it when I’m getting ready for bed and by the time I am heading off to sleep I’m enveloped in a creamy panacotta cloud. It’s becoming a nice sleep queue for my senses. One thing I do want to say though is the first five minutes of this spray is not so enjoyable to me as the lemon comes out a bit strong and boozy but the dry down is actual heaven and very vanilla and fluffy! I also get a hint of something warm and spicy toward the start which could be the rum?

I LOVE LOVE LOVE the scent of this, was everything i hoped it would be it has a good balance of vanilla and lemon neither note overpowers one or the other and that's what i love to see, i wanted a lemon fragrance not a plain vanilla scent, i get so many compliments with this and its just such a uplifting and easy reach for me i also do see the gourmand quality everyones talking about but its such a wearable gourmand i dont think you will smell like straight up food when you wear this it has a slight perfumy element to it that makes it not lean too photorealistic, it wouldnt be as gourmand as bianco latte or molten caramel or other perfumes alike which i think works for this scent profile

Love at first sniff. This was basically MY signature scent. I have always had an emotional attachment to Devotion. It’s a complex scent, with lemons that slowly mellow out and become creamier, like a candied lemon pie, but in a posh way. Super long lasting and enters the room before you do. It also gets me lots of compliments, especially from the male audience.

Had a bit of a headache. Settles really like a lemon tart. Its Nice. Reminds me a lot of Lira. I think I prefer Lira. They both don't last.

First ever scent I bought and I still love her. It’s definitely a scent you want to eat which I’ve kind of grown out of.

Like in tests to love when worn. Today is 28°C and I was worried it will be too sweet and cloying but it is delightful when worn. Both zesty and gourmand, but very well balanced, simply delicious. Exactly what I was searching for. A gourmand fit even for summer. It is an amazing candied lemon, but perfectly balanced with orange blossom, the rum gives the panacotta note an edge, with vanilla softening the lactons of the dessert. It is a lot of fun. The citrus note stays for long and is so very Italian my mind immediately switches to Italian summer vacations. It is carefree and flamboyant. Super feminine and voluptuous. Possibly the best release of recent years that is already iconic. In love. I also bought the heart edition, too pretty to pass over.

Why are ppl buying Victoria, other dupes, when you can spend $5-10 more and get the real D&G? Just save up $5 more dollars and get the actually Dolce & Gabbana! Devotion is very pretty too. And olderish, so its alll over the perfume discounters. Always check your discounters BBB rating btw and an A+, A minimum only. The eBay for these perfume stores have like 1M sold and 99.3% ratings. You think theyre selling counterfeits. And no one in 20 years has caught on. No. When Ive bought a counterfeit (never from those places but Ive bought 2) its became very obvious very quickly if you care to know the basics of authenticity and you should because ppl have been slipped a counterfeit thats been returned to Macy's and sold back to you maybe. Its easy to glue the plastic on top back on with nail glue and keep the real one for the fake so your review ("came brand new sealed in box" and "It lasts 5 hours! Smells amazing! Just like the real one but I know it cant be real at this price" no fake is lasting 5 hours, imo. Dupes wont even. And no the discount means nothing except when its a brand new perfume selling off the shelves that means jack to someone who has made their side hobby investigating the multi BILLION dollar counterfeit perfume black market, and busting a counterfeit. Even the batch number matching dont impress me much. You think they cant match a sticker to a box with an authentic # they got off a few real bottles?! Lol, but its a sign youre on you're on the way... the weights and investigating every single thing on the box for a mistake (takes 15 mins tops) DOES. That and the batch codes passing the checkers, but ESP the weights. Ever buy a kitchen scale for $5 off amazon? You know the ones ppl weigh.... sugar on? That will save your perfume collecting hobby a fortune. Google the weights. I bet google AI knows what the authentic weight of your discounted but niche tomato leaf, amazon rain forest endangered mud droplets, and the blood of an iridescent ("naural") unicorn perfume is. So when youre out here buying the "dupe" that Ive smelled for the kicks while wanting to ask, why not just buy the real one unless you like this one better. But when its not as good as the OG, and Victoria is not its gone about 30 mins after I sprayed it and who wants to wait 6 months to use their perfume? No one, so go buy the designer thats for some reason always ready to go outta the box, no rubber/burnt tires in smell sight, and now the same price (if you know how to shop) and not go ahead and just get the real perfume?! Ive seen Victoria by Lattafa priced maybe $5 less than at least 3 20 year old A+ rated BBB perfume discounter stores online and didnt even check Jomashop yet OR FragranceNet. Several discounters. Not just Jomashop. I do check everything from the box vs the OG box, the batch codes matching and whether its a sticker and embossed or one or the other (on several different sites), how many #s are in the batch code, ask the google AI, then I weigh the bottle and box together, with and without cap, the cap alone, the box alone, if anything is more than a 0.1 gram off? Gets returned. And even if they return my $ without making me return their bottle, which they have lol. Still. Theyre getting a scathing rating and reported with photo and written evidence to the platform thry sold on. Its very difficult for a counterfeiter to get all those correct. In fact IF they can get all those correct they deserve to go ahead and take my $45. Because they never can. If these perfume brands wanted to fix this they could account for every bottle like Lattafa is doing right now with the QR code check that accounts gor every bottle. Ive seen batch code checks that mark them as sold but what about if someone puts in the wrong #or letter? Now your # is fake and you bought it at the counter. Also, Ive seen batch code checkers say a bottle was authentic when I knew it wasnt, and AI said its just the code checker isnt good enough to know how many #s should be on the back(!) So use more than one. The only reason you should be buying a dupe of the real thing is because the real thing's not as good as the dupe or the real thing is priced too ridiculously. No batch of 3 different perfume oil houses is worth over $100. Thats pushing it too. Then again, Ive seen discounters Ive been told are legit, even by the internet and reviews an d i believe them, but today? I cant trust that scratch the batch number off to avoid "supply chain issues" due to how huge the counterfeit industry is. If they do that, then they have a, supply of my money chain issue. I want that batch code before they scratch it off then because its getting checked or ill go right around the web to the next discounter. I dont care your supply chain should expect a receipt (with the batch code check on the box and bottle!) if someone tries to return it back to Macys for OG prices. But Ive seen a dupe for this the same price. Seen a dupe for Versace Crystal Noir the same price as the real one. And what are you doing buying a Pink Sugar dupe?! Drop that $13 and get the real one! Lol Id buy a dupe for something ridiculous like $350+, $700 (vanilla planifollia Im looking at your 2 hour on clothes(!) lasting ahhh. I will Lattafa/fragrance world/Alhambra your ass so fast but watching ppl buy a dupe for this one, I thought wow how much was it?! $18? No... this Lattafa dupe is about $38. WHAT?! Get the real one then not the "dupe"! They do NOT last longer. Oh and btw NEVER keep and wear a known counterfeit! Someone in a basement warehouse in China mixed that up in a rusty barrel for a total of $5 tops with industrial chemicals and piss literally ask AI what the FDA has found in counterfeits. You'll never wear a "replica" again if you did, and always make sure you can return before you buy. Dont buy on Amazon unless the shipping IS via Amazon and still an Amazon warehouse? You know how long it couldve been sitting on a hot shelf when those top notes degrade fast in heat... Or pay 3 times as much. But watching ppl buy a $39 dupe for VCN when thats how much VCN is? That is so frustrating. Just buy the Versace! its like 20 years old! That IS how much the OG costs now! This perfume? Same. Its better than its dupes too. A citrus with JUST a vanilla base? I had NO expectation it would have the longevity and sillage it does. I was shocked. As all perfumes do, designers also get better or worse with "masceration". But theyre usually good to go outta the box. I had to let Paris Corner Minya sit an entire year before the rubber and burnt tires blended away. Why is that a constant UAE brand problem?! I got it with my 2nd fav Infini Rose too (fk Initio's price tags and the same ass perfume to anyone not obsessed with that certain perfume. BUT. Had to sit around and wait after already waiting to buy it for the plastic and not the good "this is a makeup scent" plastic. Its a... "this smells like a toxic binder (its not really its a synthetic I am sensitive to)" perfume smell in that one and all the others to blend away. But I only have about... 6 UAE dupes and I like about 2 and one is in jail until next summer and tbf I dont really like the OG I just thought Id get it just in case I might like it or my husband might. After it blends down to wearable. And by no means is this beast mode. So why is the rating sooo far off?! On here esp... the comments tell the truth but the ratings are off for Lattafas/Paris Corner/Armafs - Al Haramain is actually beast mode tho depending which one. If you have to respray within 8 hours its not beast mode! Ive seen perfume from lattafa you cant smell in 30 mins rated "eternal". Is that real ppl fooling themselves for the price or bots?! Cant be real customers. Something Victoria does not do, no offense to Lattafa they make some really good originals (after a year of blending and oxidizing) perfumes in their own right, and so does Paris Corner and all the UAE brands (Al Haramain is the S tier imo of the cheap UA

This fragrance is so special, it is a feminine, sparkling lemon and orange blossom panacotta cake. I’m not really big into gourmands but this one is amazing and so photorealistic. I love the orange blossom note as it is my favourite scent ever. It is a gourmand that you can wear in summer because it has the perfect balance of very gourmand cakeyness but balanced out by airy lemony notes like light blue as if a cake was some how turned into a summer refreshing drink. It also really remindes me a lot of lush super milk, almost identical in the air on my skin. It has that same very zingy candied lemon and creamy laconic vanilla.

This is a love for me! I've tried so many lemon perfumes, and they almost always smell screechy or like cleaning products on my skin. Hello, Light Blue... I'm talking about you! This is the first lemon fragrance that didn't make me want to run for the hills. The opening is a truly realistic candied lemon. It's crystalline, sugary, sweet, and just slightly tart. It smells like lemon candy rather than fresh lemon, which I absolutely love. As it dries down... oh my gosh. The caramel vanilla comes through and it's gorgeous. It really does start to smell like panna cotta, adding a soft, slightly milky sweetness that slowly melds with the candied lemon. It's not a heavy, sticky caramel though. It stays light, airy and reminds me of hard caramel sweets more than gooey caramel sauce. The rum isn't boozy on my skin. It just adds warmth and gives the base a little more depth. I also don't get much orange blossom, which I'm grateful for! It seems to be there just to balance the sweetness rather than take over the fragrance. This is the benchmark for lemon gourmands, mark my words!

If a woman wore this perfume, I’d have to make quite an effort not to eat her. Normally, there are very few women’s perfumes that would make me turn my head when someone walks past me. This is one of them)

I personally find this scent too sour, if you find this too i recommend creme de clementine by nest, it has the same sweet citrus vanilla profile but is far less sour

To me this smells a lot like kitchen cleaner. I wish I understood the hype! I don’t really have much to say about it other than it is very underwhelming - the sponge cake notes on the dry down are nice but the orange and white floral notes are completely overwhelming. Very cloying in the warmer weather.

When I first tried this fragrance last year, I didn't really enjoy it. It felt overly sweet and a bit too much for my taste. However, this year—and especially recently—I've been wearing it a lot and enjoying it far more. This perfume gives me pure happines. What I find interesting is how it evolves after about 3–4 hours. The somewhat cloying sugary notes melt away, leaving behind a creamy panna cotta-like scent. To me, it also smells like a warm cinnamon roll covered in vanilla frosting. It's incredibly cute, cozy, and genuinely gourmand and comforting 🥮 And honestly, I think Boo from Monsters, Inc. would smell exactly like this.

I'm not really a gourmand fan yet, I have this though and it's quite nice. I smell citrus, toffee and caramel. Like it more than my Sol de Janeiro Cheriosa 62.

Smells like a lemon perfume with a stale pee scent I can’t get over. Apparently it’s the indolic orange blossom that can cause that. I don’t know how people are describing it as delicious pound cake type of scent.

Might and sweet lemon. I like it but I might like Lataffa Victoria just as well for the money. Also, something about this, maybe it is better layered with my devotion intense?
