This is the fragrance that starting my obsession with fragrance as a child. It is so unique to me and has beautiful memories.

Meh. This is not my thing. It smells like citrus when you peel an orange. It doesn’t last more than half an hour on me.

I was late to the party and just got it. Missed the hype of its day, I guess. It is pleasant but not very sophisticated. A great sporty and clean scent. Don’t feel the Big Apple or hi-tech vibes in it, it has no metallic or industrial aspects. Opens with green citrus and tomato leaf. Oddly enough, together these notes almost smell like basil, then shift into something like gin and tonic. A slight flowery note is very faint but prevents sourness. DKNY is fairly linear. Wouldn’t call it a cold scent, it just gives a cooling sensation. Does not last at all, so spray liberally. I was pleasantly surprised by how versatile it turned out to be. Excellent for gym and casual summer occasions. Easily unisex, my husband loved it and asked what smelled so nice, although most men would prefer gourmands on ladies (my partner loves both, but is particularly partial to herbal scents). Bottle is pretty but falls down easily, being tall and narrow. Other sporty favorites of mine is Atlantis Winter Cruise by Outremer and Jo Malone Lime Basil & Mandarin. Atlantis leans a bit more aquatic but not much (I’m not a fan of marine scents), very refreshing and appropriate for close quarters and physical activities. Jo’s smells exactly like notes listed, no surprises there, and I actually prefer DKNY Women — it is more pleasant as it lacks the sharper lime in its pyramid.

This is a great hot weather perfume. It evokes memories of a tomato garden and also vodka on ice. Restrained, cooling and fresh without blasting citrus or sterile office

Successful blind buy This is nice - really fresh. Smells like a Mediterranean botanical garden. Longevity is good too If you like Tommy Girl or CK2 you would like this. Im going to buy a big bottle

I had no clue this perfume has been around for so many years!!! I happened to just see the fragrance mist on a shelf in the Ulta at Target and it was only $18 I think so I tried it and was shocked! It's SO GOOD! It was like an immediate mood boost which is weird because it does say it's "Energizing", LOL. I guess it does what it says! I love how fresh, green and slightly sweet it is. It also layers with basically anything!!! If the actual perfume smells the same, I'm getting it and making my signature spring scent! I love the tomato note and for those who smell cilantro... I DO NOT get it... I HATE cilantro. I despise cilantro - like gag inducing hate so if this was in here, I'd know it!

This is so different any other perfume I didn’t love it at the time thought it had corriander smell but grew on me now I’d like get it again after testing a copy 😊

This has been my sumner go-to fragrance since I was 19 years old..and I’m 42 now 😁 If you like citrus and clean-sheet perfumes, this is a banger! And unlike many from ‘back in the day’, it can still be worn today and smell lovely and modern. Theres no tomato leaf smell in this- just a sharp, sweet lemon and champaigne like opening, followed by clean and strong, slightly floral qualities. And one more thing- these old perfumes laaaaaaast, they outperform all the new designer releases that they serve us these days.

I wear this every single summer and it turns heads every time. Smells like a freshly washed and pressed white shirt. So clean and fresh. Lasts a long time. First sprays are harsh and screechy but the dry down is lovely. Less is more.

This was the worst opening in any perfume I have ever tasted, ever. It is unbearable sharp and sour like a cold knife. But after a 20min it starts in other direction, fresh and floral, i don't get the tomato note at all, why? I don't understand. It feels emotionless and cold, like a cold winter that bites you in the night on a snowy boulevard, like an iron statue in cold freezing winter, ice and sharp, the smell of winter cold night , ice and iron and wet streets, wet sheets. Like walking into unknown. Strange experience but I like this one. And if it is too much of a fresh cold citrus, add vanilla, layer this with any kind of vanilla for little warmer feeling.

It is 100% cilantro, once the plant went up to seeds. And I like cilantro, but not in seeds and not in a perfume. Disappointed.

This reminds me of a silver iPod mini. The cool blue light, the clicking sound when you scroll round.. the wired headphones. The reason why is because me and my friends wore this in the 2000s around the same time I got my iPod for Christmas. It’s so nostalgic to me. I wore it to a party one year and a guy couldn’t stop sniffing me and said I smelt amazing.. like fresh clean clothes. It’s like ice… vodka… fresh.. clean…and I actually find it really comforting. It can cool you down in the summer, make you frosty and glowing in the winter, make you feel green and light in the spring.. make you feel cosy and clean in bed during a bitter autumn night…to be honest you can wear it all year round, just in different doses. It’s so unique. A masterpiece!

I've worn this perfume during my first university year. Every time I smell it, I feel like I am more mature and professional. Some men do not like it, but I think this perfume shows character and authenticity, so I don't care. I have always smelled some... like... vodka? In it. I personally like it when it is hot outside and you are in the mood for a drink.

This is a fruity, floral, aquatic perfume. If you like fresh scents but don’t necessarily want to smell like coconut, sunscreen, or a typical citrusy summer perfume, this is something completely different. The tomato leaf note is noticeable, but don’t worry – you won’t smell like pasta sauce at all. The tomato leaf adds a green, fresh touch that subtly reminds you of tomato in an elegant and unique way. Definitely, this is not a perfume for everyone, and I wouldn’t recommend it as a blind buy. It has great longevity, lasting a good 8 hours on clothes without any issues.

cilantro in a bottle

I don’t know if I’d call it my signature scent……but it’s pretty darn close. I’ve been wearing this since it was first released in Australia around 2000 -2001, rotating it in and out of my collection over the years. I was living in Darwin when I first got it, tropical climate hot and humid and you don’t need winter clothes. So because of this weather you’re always clammy as you go about your day, wearing this made me feel confident, fresh and clean. I also received compliments while wearing it, so I feel the fragrance was perfect for the climate and certainly done its job. My other go to fragrances that have a similar effect on me are Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue and Versace Dillon Blue.

I read that Sophia Grojsman had worked on this. I don’t think so. It does have a very strange under tone to it. Some thing in the base just clashes with the fresh, confusing at first. I wouldn’t blind buy.

I don’t know if this differs from the Energizing version… Anyway, this is a clean, cool, citrusy perfume which, every time I smell it, transports me back to Christmas 2003 when I was gifted it. It settles down into a fresh and floral woody scent. It’s pure early 2000s - the rise of the tomboy aesthetic, girl power, ladette culture, etc. It’s perfect for hot weather and it’s pretty inoffensive. Not comforting in the slightest, but sometimes that’s a good thing. The performance is decent for a fresh citrus - about 4 hours on me, albeit very quiet at the end. A great perfume.

This perfume is very unique. I get headaches from sweet or heavy smells, and while this perfume is punchy and bold, it lacks sweet notes completely. It smells like ice and pepper. Like a frosty December morning. Sharp and confident. I only wear it in winter and in a certain mood. It opens up in a very fresh, slightly citrusy smell. It feels very overpowering during warmer seasons, but the scent is truely special and classy.

This was a present from my mother in law and it's my Summer go to when the days are really hot and I can't stand the florals in my collection. It's very fresh but earthy at the same time (probably the tomate leaf) This smells like a hot summer day with a casual but put together outfit. Highly recommend it!

I hate this with a passion. To me this smells of bodies in a public swimming pool

At first, I get pure tangerine, the exact same scent you get when you peel it and it is all over your hands! It is very sharp, citrusy, cold, clean and super refreshing (I'd venture to guess that this is due to javanol), reminds me of a cool drink on a hot summer day. Over time, it softens a little, and I can smell the herby leaves that make it unique, with hints orange, cloves, and flowers. The drydown has a soapy undertone. It is probably not something I would wear often, but it is very nice!

I love the freshness of the opening and if continued all the entire performance like that it would be one of my favorites, the problem to me is the base notes that smell more masculine because it has suede or leather so I use a dupe that doesn't have such a strong base notes. However it holds up well.

It's a 90s fragrance which can be modern even today since it's different (a personality fragrance), kinda futuristic and has something sexy innit. Could be related with One, by Calvin Klein. However, it may be too strict for some due to some notes (tomato leaf, birch, suede, heliotrope, apricot) that express something bitter and too strong compined with patchouli. Vibes while smelling it: I fantasize about NY sky scrapers and color grey everywhere even in he suits of people who work and are constantly on the move. Well, I guess it's DK-NY babe.

Since 1999, I’ve pretty much always had a bottle of this perfume on the go. I have lost count of the times people have swooned and told me I smell gorgeous, fresh, just so many compliments. I get the greenness of tomato vines with ice cold gin and lime. I definitely get juniper. And the dry down stays fresh but less sharp, almost a little spicy in the basenote. Just a beautiful and classic perfume.

it's definitely a skin scent for me (two sprays on each wrist, and then two sprays on my neck). at the beginning it smells too much like a cleaning spray and is horribly sharp, but after an hour or so it dries down into something more pleasant. to be honest it's pretty boring. i wore it and went for a walk in the summer heat and it smelt alright, but i think the citrus ruins it slightly. it's safe and i do like it, but i won't be re-buying a bottle.

NOTICE: did you guys notice, that the bottle of EDT & EDP look now the same - they’re transparent…? Formerly EDP bottle was „frozen”… BEWARE: bought EDT & it’s veeeeeerrrry weak - the smell stays for ca. 15 mins :(. I’m DISAPPOINTED , while EDP is ok - stays much longer. Smell: For so many years, still UNIQUE and different from all the scents on the shelves. It’s definitely sharp and fresh, but not in the usual citrusy way. I can smell the CLOVE - but can’t see it on the list…. can anyone else smell it? 😂 Me, the lover of Chanel’s Coco Noir, YSL Opium and vanillas, have been growing up to this for a few years. I have known the scent for years, but always considered it too sharp. Finally bought it for summer and I’m wearing it with pleasure.

I decluttered a hand full of Perfumes and a friend wanted a trade. This was one I picked out of her declutter stash immediately. Very fresh, clean uplifting citrus scent! Reminds me of a lemoncilo cocktail. I love this! It's a hot weather freshie. I will be layering this with strawberry soda(bbw) lemon pound cake(bbw)etc. This was just what I needed in my collection; will work beautifully with my warmer gourmonds for summer.

I love green fragrances, typically, but this one has an artificiality to it that to me smells like hairspray or shampoo, floor cleaner, or some other harsh chemicals. I love my green notes accompanied by an earthy/mossy/patchouli note, a la Replica From the Garden or Chanel No. 19, or alongside woody florals like in Salvatore Ferragamo pour Femme.
