It smells clean, masculine and relaxing, but because of the terrible performance I cannot recommend this fragrance.. It disappears in minutes , so what's the point..

This is a record-breaking fragrance for me. Record-breaking in two regards. One; it's gonna be my shortest ever review (and I thought that record was gonna be held by Jimmy Choo Man for a while yet), and two; it's got the shortest longevity of any fragrance I've ever smelt. This is just super generic, soapy green shower gel-esque, not unpleasant, totally inoffensive, but fuck me...it lasts about 5 minutes before it becomes a skin scent. I'm probably being kind by saying "5 minutes". I was genuinely shocked at how this just seemed to disappear with each second that passed. And it's just got no personality whatsoever. And that really disappoints me because it's literally my namesake (not the D Squared part), but for a while now I've looked at that bottle and seen my surname on it, and ultimately been quite curious to smell it because of its psychological recognition factor. But it's just meh. I'd forgive it if it was meh and had some longevity, but it doesn't. And at £25 for the 100ml bottle, I'm sure it looks like a bargain to many, but for me, if I'd paid £2.50 for this at Lidl or Primark, I'd still feel like I'd been scammed.

Super safe clean freshie for those who dislike blue fragrances but still want something that fits the same purpose. I wouldn't actually call this woody per-say but there is a nice almost powdery green vibe to it. A great transitional fragrance for daytime, running errands and active use. Highly inoffensive but smells clean in a shower gel sort of way, a little creamy and musky with a fizzy citrus opening. Very well balanced if not a bit basic. It does have a designer feel and I certainly wouldn't wear this for anything other than zipping around or post work out, if you wore this to the office I think it would come across as a bit immature or naive.

great for the office, lasts all day on my skin and clothes with average projection easy year round cheap designer however there are better options out there

In some cases less is more they say...This one is the most linear fragrance i had and smelled let me tell you something...i LOVED the simplicity of it...Sometimes all you want is putting on something to just freshen up and not having to think about drydown or who will smell it who will like it or not etc. This fragrance is the epitomy of dumb reach.If you want to smell fresh for couple hours (no longer bc its a freshie after all) like lemon and wood w fresh peppers this is your scent to go...im a little dissapointed that they inflated the prices (used to be 22-24 eur now its over 30 sometimes over 35) its not that value for money cheapie anymore but still a good soldier for everywhere casual (and formal i mean whatever you like). Sillage and projection usually medium to low depends on the skin for me u can reapply or spray a little more without much thought bc the smell itself is very inoffensive Sometimes you just want to smell one thing and one thing only lol it scores an easy 7.3/10 simple yet effective

i definitely wear this more often than anything else, but mostly because I'm saving anything nicer for special occasions opens with a very sharp lemon scent that goes away in 5 minutes, but it settles to a very nice quiet woody dry down people say it doesn't last very long (which isn't untrue) but i much prefer the dry down to the opening, which can last quietly for a pretty long time Truly nothing special, but i don't need to draw attention to my scent at the grocery store lol

Had this a few years ago and enjoyed it. Can't remember anything specific about it, just pleasant.

It smells like lemon and a bit woody and it's not really special, the bottle is of a nice quality with a magnetic cap that's fun to fidget with. I'm glad I got mine on a hell of a deal, I got 2 perfumes (essence of success and this one) for 30€, it was a Ryanair duty free deal . Considering this costs 40€ on notino, I got mine for really low price Unfortunately it's so weak on my skin, after an hour it barely smells anything. Also the name is funny cause you can make thousands of "my wood" jokes with it, I would know I did them all

Owned this, my dad owns this in the present, smells so nice.Lemony but develops a creamy sweetness with a green, wet oakmoss like scent.6-7 hours of performance too.Spring&summer gem for people who like darker scents

Love the freshness, the sweet woodiness and it does smells like a pine forest after the rain. Great for the office as well. Hits all the right notes for me, the citrus, vetiver, amber towards the base notes, just great. A safe blind buy for most. Just wished it lasted longer than a couple of hours.

Dollar for dollar, this one's hard to beat. If you like a distinct rugged outdoor conifer scent, then you'll absolutely love this. This bad boy is a compliment-getter all day long. Grab you a nice shower and spray this one before work and I guarantee you'll still be smelling it when you get home. Has excellent longevity and projects nicely, but is never cloyingly sweet or overpowering. It smells...extremely pleasant, for lack of a better description.

Encre Noire made more mainstream. Great for the price. Easy wear anytime anyplace

The citrucy opening is fantastic. The drydown is a realistic pine tree. It's more niche-leaning but too simple and casual. I don't understand the Canadian pine tree vibe maybe because I am not a Canadian.

really strong citrus lemon smell when first applied, i don't really smell the woody accord to it though? not sure, i'd have to try it on again. but its really good, fresh, moderate sillage, and could be considered a daily carry for me as it's a safe pick.

Used several bottles of it. If you are young in your early 20s you should definitely try it. No hype around it but smells great.

This is a good fragrance i got my hands on it for under 40 pounds and i am glad because this fragrance is one of the best summer fragrances ive yet to have

I've had this a while, but haven't worn it in forever.... Wore it today and thought, "I should wear this more often." It's kind of like Encre Noir mixed with Versache Man Eau Fraiche. Performance is moderate. Price is right.

Quite easy to wear, but still dynamic enough compared to other budget designer fragrances. Both the opening and drydown are solid. The opening has a fresh lemon and pine smell to it. The drydown has this sweet musk feel and that's where it really shines. Performance is mediocre, but still a nice quick and everyday scent.

This has been my dumb reach for over three years, it smells good, gets compliments, masculine and citrusy, has a strong "barbershop" feel, I wish it lasted longer because it doesnt seem to last more than 2 hours. However, when you spray don't let it concentrate in a small diameter on your clothes or skin, I have noticed that this way produces a strong "Curry" or BO smell, especially on skin, I've confirmed it when recieving comments from others. Edit: I just read the review below me, he's absolutely right, that's what I was talking about, I don't know if this is a problem with recent batches

On paper it's fine maybe a bit less than good however I have no idea why it smells so bad on my skin. My skin ph (I assume) adds a strange sweetness and animalic vibe that reminds me of a chicken coop or chicken feathers... so that's a no from me Subpar performance, kind of generic in terms of scent maybe it's the batch I purchased but meh

Fresh, crisp green-woody masculine with unique natural wood and herbal vibes that's clean and modern. Moderate performance. Shines in mild to warm weather where its brightness thrives.

A clean, fresh woody scent with strong citrus and vetiver. It smells nice and fresh, but the performance is poor and it fades quickly. Pleasant, but the weak longevity really holds it back. 6.5/10

Not strong and doesn’t really get noticed. Just a pleasant, safe scent with a mainstream office vibe. The best part is the price and I grabbed it for €19.99 at a European airport, which feels fair. Wouldn’t repeat though; nothing memorable here after several uses. At the end pleasant with a short performance.

I definitely get a bit of incense in the dry-down. A bit of Cacharel pour home and Loewe 7 in it. Not so powerfull as the last one. Normally I hate ambroxan, cedar combinations (Sauvage for example) but in this one it’s more balanced, acceptable and certainly not a in-your-face, brutal scent.

My good old friend has worked at the Appolonia Politia, Thessaloniki, Greece, for years and years, and she proposed the scent to me (she knows my taste in perfumes). Overall, yes, this EDT is a lovely man's scent. If you spray 4-5 times for about 3 hours, it will be OK. The notes are more or less the ones described here as well. Yet, the performance is not excellent. It gives a sense of top perfume but without the performance.
