For women who prefer mild, light and clean floral. There's an astringent characteristic that would make this pretty nice to smell on a man. Mass appealing without being immediately recognizable. This is a safe blind buy for an everyday work or school fragrance for when you want to feel put together without announcing yourself to the room. Great price point.

Pleasant dusty white floral with a fresh citrus opening. Generic but well blended and non-offensive. This would be pleasant for work or events.

Pretty is a simply pretty fragrance. My mum introduced me to it many years ago and it's a scent I've never gotten tired of. It's delicate, feminine, understated and very floral but not overpowering. It's a scent that reminds me of wearing an edwardian summer lingerie dress and walking through a garden in spring or autumn when the flowers are in full bloom. It's a nostalgic one for me that hasn't gotten lost in time.

Way too sharp. Smells cheap :(

could be me but I don’t like it, to me it just smells like the skin of an orange which I don’t really like, I don’t smell any floral, clean scents you know? The packaging is really gorgeous though however it isn’t something I would willingly wear.

Simple, nice and long lasting. A very clean floral.

Анонім★★★★★

Pretty indeed but not very special. Definitely a spring/summer kind of scent.

Анонім★★★★★

A very easy going light floral scent, bright and happy, nothing loud, nothing harsh, nothing screams attention. The name suits the scent perfectly.

i work somewhere that sells perfumes and once a bunch of ladies came in and bought like four boxes of this after testing it and i couldn't remember the name for the life of me but it was so.. pretty that i just had to find it. me and my sister saw it in a version of my retail chain and so we decided to buy it! ahh it was so worth it it really truly is a scent that lives up to it's name :-) it's really feminine and nice and it has a simple kind of feeling to it! worth it for the $24 i spent lol

At first I was underwhelmed, it’s your average run of the mill, fresh and floral scent. I did single one spray on the back of my hand before returning to my shopping, when I tell you I kept smelling something beautiful as I walked through the mall!!! It was so beautiful and so noticeable that I thought it couldn’t possibly be the one spray of “pretty” but it was. For some reason this unassuming little perfume created the prettiest scent bubble and scent trail around me, even walking past the Lush store (iykyk) the scent didn’t dampen. Maybe it’s skin chemistry but Elizabeth Arden fragrances are amazing quality imo, they’re so long lasting and beautifully made. This is no exception, perfect scent for spring or summer days when you don’t care to smell overly interesting or stand out but you still want to smell pretty, and you want a perfume that other people can notice too. It does remind me a little of Clinique happy so I’m sure if you appreciate that fragrance you might like this too. All together this is a lovely, suprisingly strong but still light and fresh perfume:)

For me it’s floral but still light and clean feeling. Love it!! 🌸🫧

This, pretty hot and 5th Ave are the only perfumes in history that make me sick to my stomach when I wear them. It’s very strange, headache, nausea…. I wonder what is in those 3 that causes this? No other fragrances have ever done this and I like my perfumes strong and I’m an oversprayer bit wit those 3 fragrances just one squirt and I get sick 🤢 I do admit that all 3 do smell amazing if only they didn’t cause the horrific sickness.

Анонім★★★★★

This fragrance is my worst enemy. It's the worst headache floral anyone can imagine. I hate this perfume and I can only smell the middle notes. Can't even layer it.

Анонім★★★★★

Just what the name says, a very pretty scent. Literally when I first smelled it all I could think was "oh how pretty" haha. This is a inoffensive fragrance perfect for the workplace or school. Smells like you just got out of the shower. Lasts a good amount of time when I spray on my clothes. It is nothing complex or mind-blowing, but for the price you can't go wrong if you like clean fragrances! I like this one a lot :)

Анонім★★★★★

Really like this scent! It's a long lasting fresh clean sweet floral scent that I would say is great for spring and summer. Pretty one dimensional in term of the scent profile but I think it's a good base for layering if you want

Анонім★★★★★

Like hairspray. Very synthetic.

Анонім★★★★★

Like the names says this is definetly a pretty scene but very simple almost has that synthetic vibe to it and it’s not that noticeable, it’s like a skin scent , sits to the skin ,it’s not horrible but not too special a pretty scent for teenagers who want a non offensive light scent and good for school and college

"Pink" Peony Scent... 2009 Floral by Claude Dir, opens with a fruity-floral burst that quickly gives way to a peony centred floral heart. Jasmine, lily & iris round out the floral bouquet. The floral-support base has musky woods & amber. There's a nice sweetness in the base that gives a hint of vanilla/cotton-candy in a similar way to Reaction Kenneth Cole, or Special Moments Catherine Malandrino. Alongside all of this, there's a faint silvery perfume-y quality similar to Romance Ralph Lauren, that's echoed in the silver graphic floral details on the pink box. The overall effect is of a "pink" peony scent accented by a hint of citrus in the top notes, and a hint of cotton candy in the base, and a faint silvery perfume-y quality. This isn't an exact dupe of anything, but I catch reminders of other Elizabeth Arden scents (5th Avenue), and other scents by Claude Dir (Curious Britney Spears). Performance for me is above average for a floral scent, and could be worn year round, but I would be most likely to wear this in warmer daytime weather in spring through fall. It's a love for me. Enjoy! Update 07/25/24: Sprayed this on my wrist after a shower. The peony is dominant, but it does need 5-10 minutes to settle as up close on the skin the jasmine & woods are a touch sour at first although they improve the projection. In the air it's a lovely plush pink peony. Once the spray is fully dry and it starts to dry down, all the notes are discernible. After awhile I can notice that the base reminds me of Light Blue Dolce&Gabbana, so an oversimplified description would be a layer of peony over Light Blue. Very classic feminine floral & spring-summer daytime vibe. It does shine in warmer weather which improves the performance. Still a love.

this kind of has a similar profile to light blue? it reminds me of it alot! it’s a bit sweeter and more floral. it’s a very simple and crowd pleasing perfume, really nothing special but not particularly boring. i don’t get any peach, just lots of jasmine and vague white florals with some citrus. it’s girly without smelling like a sickeningly sweet cupcake

Анонім★★★★★

I’m really liking this! Tried it today for the first time and a couple hours later bought a bottle online. Love the flowers! I’m sensitive to soap and amber scents but they’re both mild here. Wish it lasted longer. A sweet clean floral.

Анонім★★★★★

This is a fresh, fruit and floral fragrance that is considered to be inoffensive and made as a signature scent. It is long lasting and I do get the peach and florals. I enjoyed getting whiffs of this in the wind as I did my errands.

This perfume is a flowery peony potpourri fest. Think of it as a 90s vintage young teen version of the original 5th Avenue. It is a perfect gift for a young, teenage girl who probably likes vintage clothes and wants to feel bubbly and cute without smelling like a cupcake. Good and innocent scent for school. Too strong for hospitals.

I tested this on myself at Shopper's Drug Mart as it was on for $21.99 and it was a scrubber for me. It screamed loud old lady florals. When I got home I washed it off.

Анонім★★★★★

Got this dirt cheap because I wanted a cheap fragrance for when running for errands. And I wanted the kind of scent that no one would compliment on, and this serves that purpose. It's a pretty yet forgettable scent, soapy white floral from top notes to base notes, no layer whatsoever. Very mild fruitiness. Has the DNA of MJ Daisy Eau So Fresh but more soapy. Longevity is around an hour, moderate sillage, and mix well with sweet citrus or vanilla fragrance. It's a very VERY clean scent as in you can only use this when you just come out of the shower and you're 100% fresh and clean. You'll smell so amazing and you'll feel great about yourself. Otherwise, as soon as you have any kind of humanly odour, this will refuse to mix with you natural body scent. So like spray in the morning when you just finish showering, not in the afternoon when you already develop some sort of sweat. Also because longevity is terrible with strong sillage at first then quickly turn to moderate sillage with in 5 mins, it's not actually the most practical scent to reapply. It serves my purpose which is just to be out for 1-2 hours and no one will care what scent I wear. Otherwise, not even worth the dirt cheap price. Happy with the purchase anyway cuz it's so cheap. It smells like good body wash. Overall 5/10.

If you like clinique happy you will like this. It is a tiny bit floral, which I think is why some people have said it's like Estee lauder pleasures. Overall, its fresh and feminine, settles nicely into your skin (a little sharp on first spray). I also have green tea cucumber and it is more aquatic. I might just buy everything in this range!

Delicious and light. No screeching, just perfect.

Wow, it often seems like ( after reading frequently on here for a year, yikes! ) so many people turn up their noses in disdain at scents that might be ‘merely’ pretty, as if pretty is a mediocre compliment; we aspire to more! We want stunning signature scents! 😂 Pretty actually has overall popular reviews on the FragranceNet site. Based on those, it sounds more than tolerable, actually desirable, and likely to be worth it for what it is. That site must be where all the Cougars from earlier eras hang out, ha ha, trolling for their glory days. I sure do respect scents that fulfill their intended purpose, possibly more, are versatile for many everyday situations and ages (being softer, for office/ public / sensitive nose friendly ) at generous price points. I doubt femme fatale glamour that trails works for most jobs or daily life. So, hats 🎩 off to those who are way too advanced and complex for such not yet retro or never to be trendy scents, ones like Pretty, that look back nostalgically to the previous century’s florals with a softer perspective, that is) lol. Yup, we don’t all want or need the latest Tom Ford, or whatever La Belle flanker, Juicy Bod or Flower Bomb style, hot for the present. Variety makes the world go round; how boring it would be if we were all on the same mass bandwagon, however expensive, ‘elevated’, or designer it might be. I think more scents should be weighed on the basis of how well they perform for what they claim or aim to be, achieve, their target audience image and era, plus potential to adapt beyond it. No doubt Pretty is an older, different ideal; it has last century style floral vibes, and is a more linear, mainstream, middle-class oriented frag. It doesn’t have any aspirations or pretentiousness to be otherwise. And, I like it, like it, yes I do.

Amo este perfume para la primavera, el durazno es delicioso y dulce al principio y en mi piel seca muy cálidamente las notas florales. Es de mis favoritos. Me encanta que no es pasoso, es discreto e intimo, para el disfrute personal solamente.

This on me is straight up fresh laundry. Throughout the day I kept wondering who was running the dryer so often, and I realized it was my perfume! It's very pretty, soft, fresh floral. Also predictable and no surprises for a blind buy. Good option as a gift for a teen.

SOOOO pleasant and *pretty*, a bit powdery- one of my bedtime fragrances:) 😊
