omg, I'm still on a hunt for this. my mom used to wear it and it was the most warm, fantastic scent. I miss it
i got this perfume on my 15th birthday ,, this was a huge part of my life it defined my teens !! its so lactonic almost nauseating but its very cosy and chocolaty it takes me back to those days ! i am so sad its discontinued i remember buying it again a couple of years later. The scent is not that verstaile and has that plastic note buts god its so special tome .
I get the base notes and the top note and a sweet floral feeling. It's mostly cacao coffee clementine blended in custard sweets. Quite unique not proper feminine. Certainly slightly warm spicy somehow lactonic.
Such an elegant, womanly sweet perfume! Soft custard and florals, touch of clementine. I don't get any patchouli/chocolate. Quite romantic, very perfumey. Finally! Something pretty, feminine and sweet but not based on vanilla. Incredible Me remains freshened by pink peony it is an overall such a pretty perfume. Sweet, grown up, elegant, ticks all the boxes.
Escada please you need to re-release this one! This is amazing! So beautiful!
I have a full 50ml bottle in a box with moisturiser and shower gel, pm me if interested, shipping from Athens, Greece
I was always indifferent to this fragrance, it had a nice unique gourmand scent, but I found it faded quickly and the silage was weak. It sat unused on my shelf for years, until I was looking for a scent to layer with my OGX coffee coconut body cream (ifykyk) and I remembered my neglected bottle of incredible me and it's coffee and chocolate notes. And Oh My Goodness! It is a rich, creamy, delicious combination that is so invigorating and warm. Layering it with the lotion also improved the lasting power and silage. So glad I didn't part ways with this.
I've learned that it's best to give a new fragrance a few sprays before spraying on the skin. Often if a fragrance has been sitting the notes have settled and isn't quite right until it has been used a few times and it has had a chance to breath. lol Sounds like wine. Anyway, this fragrance did smell metallic at first spray, so I did wait and gave it a few tries. It is definitely prominent clementine in the opening. The zest and the bitterness come fourth straight away. It's also sweet but I found the fruitiness of this fragrance didn't really mellow away and let the rest of the notes come forward. I did not smell chocolate, but I got an amber and floral scent by the dry down stage with the zest of the clementine hanging strong. I was hoping for a unique and lovely fragrance, but it just wasn't there. Nice enough but being a 2008 fragrance, it is of that era of fruit strong fragrances that hit you with a punch. In today's market it would have been more mellow and creamier perhaps. 5/10
Incredible Me somehow smells simultaneously of delicious baked goods and of chemicals.
Ok... firstly, this perfumes was released in 2008 and what I'm reading in the reviews can only be explained if their perfume has turned. none of these reviews give justice to this precious bottle and I honestly don't know why it's so underrated because it's a bomb. this is a modern gourmand take on a very familiar smell; it's very sweet but not sickening (just the right amount) and lasts forever both on skin and on clothes with an enormous projection. it really does smell like a floral toffee/sugar cookie. just to prepare your mind, the only thing i get a SIMILAR VIBE from (not to say they smell similar at all) is Libre YSL which is also a super sweet modern take on a very familiar smell. Incredible me is just as cozy as it gets and I have been repurchasing it since 2010 (actually no that's not true; I had desire me first which is sweeter then I found this). If you can secure yourself a true healthy bottle and if you're a gourmand lover, I really don't see how you. an't fall in love with this. Please, just try it and thank me later.
Hmmm... It's not common for me to be repulsed by a fragrance on my skin, but I was completely blindsided by Escada's 'Incredible Me'. I usually write reviews on fragrantica when I vibe with a perfume. And I thought I would with this one, especially looking at the notes. So I blind-bought a brand-new, sealed, authentic bottle that had healthy-colour juice. The opening is a super sour, citrusy clementine. This is the best part of the perfume on my skin. It's actually DELICIOUS, lightweight and fresh...Honestly wish it lasted longer! Within half an hour 'Incredible Me' starts to become heavy, buttery-sweet but in an incredibly sickly kind of way, like spoiled vanilla cream with artificial sweetener. As it develops... the dry-down becomes heavier and heavier... To the point where I have to scrub it off. There is no chocolate. There is no coffee. Only oily-thick vanilla custard that's WAY past its expiration date. I'm not going to sugar coat it: This is nauseating. But on the other hand it has great silage and rather ok longevity (5 hours). Proceed with caution.
I looooove this. It just hugs me. It is so soft and mellow. I don't think it smells a lot like custard but I like it just the same. The first hour with this is where its at, after that it wisps away and leaves a pleasant skin scent.
This is a realistic custard donut smell. You can totally smell the fatty, cold custard filling and sweet sugared, fried shell. It could be a gourmand fan's dream. The chocolate is nicely done as well. On me though, there's a note present in Escada perfumes that makes an entrance at the dry down and screeches. So, not a total win. If Escada works for you, and smelling like a doughnut once in a while sounds fun, snap this up before it is hard to find!
So I don’t know if mine was a little .. expired but I think it may have been discontinued because the liquid in my bottle was more of a yellow than pink. Nevertheless, the scent is very nice and floral! I didn’t get a ton of creamy custard but I really only tried it for a short while. I will definitely be wearing this in spring and summer. The opening is very clementine (not in a bad orangey way, very sweet citrus) then it mellows to a BEAUTIFUL orchid. I’m happy! I love orchids. :)
It used to be my fav scent but now i hate it. I wonder...
The moment i put this one on, my first thought was “ wow this smells incredible! “ its a beautiful fragrance, sweet and very comforting. Im in love. Very safe blind buy. Go for it guys.
This is my all time favorite sweet fragrance. It is very, very sensual and smooth. There is definitely something special about it.
I didn't like wearing this in the cooler weather but now that it is almost summer, this is a VERY nice perfume in balmy weather. The clementine is very prominent and tropical like.
Recommended to me as similar feel to Jil Sander Sensations, and it is indeed similar, cool, smooth and sweet. But this is more gourmand, in fact it is predominantly confectioner's custard, like you get in Spanish pastries. It's certainly my favourite Escada so far.
Oh my, this is such a pretty perfume. This opens with sweet, juicy clementines that are then followed by a vanilla orchid accord, but don't let this mistake you. Incredible Me is not a simple fruity floral, and unfurls itself as a beautifully comforting gourmand scent with luscious bourbon vanilla cream custard and smooth milk chocolate. It smells so delectable and completely envelopes you in this heavenly cloud of creamy warmth, and is never too sweet. Some will call it generic, but I have yet to witness such delicious creamy, lactonic, and realistic milk chocolate notes in a perfume of this price and genre before, besides its sister Desire Me. Run, don't walk, to get your hands on this if you're a gourmand lover who has been looking for that perfect girly chocolate fragrance. :)
I like the opening and I LOOVE the dry down. It starts off with some combo between clementine and peony and I was ready to give it away, but in 15 minutes I kept sniffin my wrist and I couldn't be more satisfied. The orchid and the custard are so soft smelling, I can't even. It's worthy only because of the orchid development and I vote YES.
This one is not the "love at first sniff"type. I put it aside for some time and one day i started to like it. It is sweet but not shallow. Not very girly. Especially when you get the drydown. Longevity is not bad. I sprayed in the morning before going out and shocked to detected the scent the next early morning. The quality is trustworthy. Orchid and chocalate is good company. Oh, chocalate is doing very well in this. There's sophisticated mysterious and care-free mysterious. This Incredible Me is the latter. The bottle is also a thump up!
I am a fan of the now discontinued Tempore Donna by Laura Biagiotti, which indeed smells like an upscale 90s prequel of Incredible Me by Escada. I thought of testing the now widely available Escada in case it could serve as a lower price alternative to the discontinued Tempore Donna. It might feel as an alternative to some extend, but of course it's not an exact copy at all. Incredible me is sweet, fruity and subtly floral, without being loud or strong. Balmy is the word that comes to mind. I have yet to detect the chocolate or coffee in this. Maybe an imaginary interpretation of chocolate is there; but nothing too gourmand or a true to chocolate note to my nose. Sillage and longevity are low, but it currently sells on UK eBay for pennies so if you terribly miss Tempore Donna it's a quite safe blind buy- bearing in mind though that nothing truly compares to that beautiful lost treasure:)
It is delicious! Sweet and floral without being overwhelming. It is guloso, but not cloying mode... Is also a magnet for compliments!
This was a completely blind buy online. I usually don't purchase perfumes without smelling them first but after reading reviews I decided to buy it. I love this fragrance even if it is a bit sweet but there is so much to this scent. At first it smells like a pineapple upside down cake but with clementines not pineapples, I don't know any other cake to compare this to Then it turns into cake and custard then chocolately cakey vanilla then ends with just vanilla and something else I cannot describe, just pure dessert joy for me. I cannot smell coffee however I love the fact that it changes so often but some might consider it too sweet. It lasted a reasonable amount of time, at least 4 hours. When compared to Desire me and Absolutely me this one wins. I haven't smelt Desire Me but I have smelt Absolutely Me which is reminiscent of baby powder to me and I do not like it This I like to wear all the time with the exception of hot days in summer as its just a bit too sweet. I have no idea if it would be considered alluring but I know bees like it, they follow me around when I'm wearing this.
Ahhh... another gem I blind bought based on the notes and packaging alone. After reading the description of this fragrance, I decided to give it a go. (I adore tiramisu, being one of my favorite Italian deserts!) But.. I definitely get a strong synthetic opening of what I think is the orchid coming through. Not my favorite, to be completely honest. The opening nearly makes me sneeze every time... but that wouldn't be fair to judge the perfume as a whole based on the first initial spray, now would it? After about 30 minutes to an hour of wearing Incredible Me, a smooth creamy note takes center stage. A-ha! Now that's more like it! It stays this delightful creamy, sweet, gourmand for the rest of the day. It literally lasts so long on me, so I don't mind the initial spray so much! the mouth watering dry down is so worth it in my opinion if you can get past that first impression. It really is a lovely fragrance for anyone of any age. The custard, chocolate, and coffee notes make this one forgettable treat. I must say, as underrated as it is compared to La vie est Belle, Black Opium, or Si by Giorgio Armani, I adore this hidden Escada secret of mine. I don't know many people who own or have even heard of this scent!! Very very underrated in my opinion. Incredible, isn't it? Edit: I think my bottle may be starting to turn! Longevity: 8-10 hours! Wowza! Sillage: Moderate
UPDATE the INCREDIBLE staying power I is extraordinary, and more taking into account that belongs to a medio-economico segment. The aroma is noticeable the next day even in the car seat! To the extent that today I slept in a friend's House, and has called me this afternoon to ask me the name of since perfume today I had food family at home and 5 guests have perceived it on the couch where I spent the night. Fascinated! There is no time that you use this perfume and at least three or four people ask me for the.
Incredible Me stands out for its spark, it is spontaneous, atypical and cheerful. It is a gourmand (with clear facets of coffee with cocoa) that derives in flowers towards the end. The aroma is feel dynamic to a use of daily and me is timeless, brilliant in summer and with a density more notorious in winter. As night is when highlight, supplanting the aromas more commercial... Attractive and different.
Custard, fruit candy. Incredible me is pretty for young girls. To be honest this is not my type. But it has nice quality. Sillage and longevity are good enough. Escada is a well known brand and worth trying. Before buying, need to refer to comments on Fragrantica. Bottle is cute. Black frame line with soft pink liquid, pretty!
Well I decided to try this one simply because I was bored and I was rather surprised by the outcome. My mom received a FB from my sister; she didn't like it so she wanted my mom to have it. My mom used it for some time - it was a cloud of candy cheesecake orchid with a tiny bit of freshness of the clementine. The fragrance verged on the cloying part so I guess that's why she got sick of it. The fragrance opens up really sweet - the clementine isn't that noticeable but the orchid steals the show right away. It's a full, sweet one, supported by rather dominant and intense notes of extremely sweet candy and creamy cheesecake. It becomes tooth-achingly sweet, almost verging on becoming a headache inducing gourmand nightmare. It stays like this for about 30 minutes. However, after these 30 minutes something remarkable happened: it turned into a blend of smoky coffee and bitter chocolate, underlined with the sweetness of the cheesecake/candy/orchid and a slight fresh sparkle of the clementine. It's almost as if I can smell some patch which is really weird. Recommended for gourmand lovers with a sweet tooth; it's not really for me, even though I think the drydown is quite interesting, it's overall still too sickly candy sweet for me.
