So my husband and I were out, and this woman walked by. He stopped and said, “Wow… I really like her perfume.” So I walked to her and asked her what she was wearing. She smiled and said, Pleasures Intense by Estée Lauder. I have never heard of it . But tummy husband likes it I am going to get it. To me, it’s all green lilies and peonies. But here’s the weird part… It instantly took me to this woman that probably doesn’t even exist. She’s French, her hair is in a perfect French twist, she’s wearing a pencil skirt, kitten heels, a silk scarf, and those little white gloves women used to wear. I don’t know why… but that’s exactly who this perfume is.

This smells exactly like spray on sunscreen.

Floral, feminine, strong and great projection♡ For me it does smell very alike the OG Pleasures, but with a lily and rose hint♡

EL Pleasures original has always been one of my favorites since my 20s along with Ralph Lauren Romance, Polo Sport Women, Organza, Hot Couture a name a few. I don't get why people here have mentioned it as a warning to not over spray this or that it gets cloying or headache inducing. It does not. Not at all. To me it's very similar to the original Pleasures, albeit a lot richer and bolder and heavier. If I wore Pleasures original during the day, I'd switch it up and wear Intense at night. Currently it's summer where I live with temperatures going over 50° & I can still wear Pleasures Intense without any issues. It's probably coz I'm used to heavy oud and bakhoor fragrances, raised in the Middle East so I guess French fragrances that are classified as "beast mode" don't really bother me as much as it does to someone not used to deeply, animalic scents. Pleasures Intense is truly beautiful, like walking into a florist shop early in the morning, when all the fresh, dewy flowers are just delivered and they still have their natural scents of the just-cut green stems, the water drops on their petals....it's literally like being in a garden with hundreds of flowers! The one thing I love the most about Pleasures (original and intense) is that even though it lists rose in the heart notes, the rose does not dominate the overall feel. I do love a fresh rose scent, but there's a time and place for it. And Pleasures Intense isn't it. This one is like burying your nose into a huge bouquet of peonies and lilies and just enough jasmine to give it the depth for lasting. I'll end with telling anyone who's afraid of the other reviews saying this gets cloying to move past the fear and try it, especially if you love Pleasures original or any of the floral heavy Dior scents. This will not disappoint, I promise.

Beautiful unique Lily scent! Didn't know I would like that, but its lovely! I agree with the othes here, this is not like the OG Pleasures.

I honestly can't smell much else, other than the lillies and green lillies in this. It has a greenish snapped sort of smell as well, which is just beautiful. It is a pollen heavy and spicy lily that you find in Pleasures Intense and it is very sweet and aromatic in a floral kind of way. I smell the maple syrup like smell of the maple in the base and the warmth from rhe vanilla as well, but it just accents the lily and brings out the warmth and spiciness found in this flower. I only get the tiniest amounts of peony and I don't really smell the blackberries, jasmine, tiare flowers or rose. This is mostly a photorealistic lily to my nose, which is very rare to come across in fragrances. Pleasures Intense is a a heady grande dame in the best possible way, smelling like a high end hotel lobby with big vases of lillies on a table, the scent wafting into the air on a joyous Easter morning. I personally feel like she could be worn either day or night and basically all seasons, but that she would be best for spring and summer, to really make her sing. It is a highly feminine perfume and it isn't afraid to admit it, which I love. It is a very bridal fragrance and is very pure smelling, but in a good way. This fragrance lasted 7 hours on me and the sillage was very good, reaching reasonably far away from me, without choking anyone out. It is very wearable and I feel like most people wouldn't get overwhelmed from smelling it, unless they really hate lillies, of course. I am giving this a very good 8/10. A great fragrance from Lauder, one of the houses best at white florals, as always!

No no don’t expect it to be similar to the og This is a dense creamy waxy pollen hyper realistic Lily petals and peony Not light not airy not generic Layered complex realistic floral scent With huge projection obv And really unique floral pollen bomb I liked it but its a bit too realistic and dense for me The lily u get in baiser volé but add peony and some other green&creamy notes Its hard to describe this isn’t an easy scent U must appreciate Lily And waxy pollen intense florals to be able to like this scent I find myself having zero issues with it except how waxy it is U can detect the tiniest hints of the og pleasures but otherwise this isn’t similar to the og in any way Realistic garden type of scent lush waxy blooming green lily in a garden along with pink peonies and a bit of indolic thick jasmine and in the middle of the garden there is a maple tree Ngl it has that slight rotten flower smell Suits Summer nights perfectly with its green realistic and complex floral scent When i tell u this is realistic… i mean it it literally smells like the garden in our village up the mountains in saudi arabia { yes saudi has villages farms greenery livestock etc in the southern saudi just like Switzerland not all of it is a desert }

It has the DNA of the original but with more rosy sweetness. Féminin. I just love the Pleasure line. It will always be in my collection. Long lasting. Just 2 to 3 sprays and you are good all day. It's Just keeps coming back to remind you that I am here. Love, love, love it.

This is one of my favorite florals. Pleasures intense smells nothing like Pleasures, it smells like lillies and lilacs covered with pollen and lasts all day.. the mix is so smooth it's hard to detect any one flower just a bouquet of luminous florals with a fresh dewiness ... highly recommended to floral lovers out there

I can't believe I overlooked this for so long. I tried it this afternoon, and had purchased it on the grey market by evening. I've been hunting forever for a green white floral - and this is it. Pleasures OG reads celery to me, and on my skin unfortunately it becomes a rich chicken soup. Pleasures Intense is what I wanted Pleasures OG to be. I love lilies, I love all white flowers. This is photorealistic, and GREEN to boot. It's as good in the opening as Lys de Mediterranee (better, in fact, because the white floral feels less "waxy" in Pleasures Intense). The green is sumptuous, and the flowers are simultaneously crisp and chewy. And the dry down? Oh my gord. It is exactly how they describe Sweetbay Magnolia (which I spied outside the gym window this morning and subsequently cut my workout short so I could trek out for a sniffaroonie.). It is lemon and vanilla, like a fluffy vanilla cake with a touch of soft spices. Summer's hitting hard here, I cranked the aircon and wore Pleasures intense to cuddle my children on the couch while we crunched veggies and watched cartoons and it was pure perfection. Some magnolia-forward scents are so aquatic as to be generic-smelling to my nose at least (such as Halloween), some are cashmere-heavy, a note I do not like (such as 4711 eau de Magnolia). Others are plain screechy and cheap-smelling (Sarah Jessica Parker Lovely Sheer). When to wear it? I will wear it as a transition fragrance. I will pack it in my work bag and spritz prior to the car ride home. It will be a welcome balm on hot evenings. It will layer well with all my favoured work-scents (non-sweet vanillas, soft irises, lactonic gardenias, sandalwoods, gentle greens). And by the time I get home to my kidlets I will smell like freshly baked lemon and vanilla muffins and they will actually want to cuddle me because I will smell so flowery and delicious. Pleasures Intense is a far cry from the usually challenging niche fragrances I prefer for home, and my children always tell me, "Mummy your perfumes smell like rotten farts". Now that I have Pleasures Intense, the only thing about me that will smell like rotten farts is my farts.

So after reading so many reviews I decided to blind purchase this gem 💎 And so glad I did!! Such a unique and gorgeous scent, although reminiscent of early 2000’s perfumes. The dry down is like that of a baby smell, so innocent and full of shampoo. In the best way possible this is how I would describe the smell to someone who never tried it. I don’t get flowers, any, I just get the end result of someone so so feminine & gorgeous. Although it’s more suitable for kids/teens. It just gives childhood innocence wrapped in candy feminine sweetness. Highly recommend. Truly indescribable but very good.

Lo más que me gusta es su duración. Puede durar hasta más de 12 horas.

This is floral done right! A fragrance that smells like real flowers in full bloom, not these generic mess. Lily reigns here; real, lush & captivating. Think of strolling through a spring garden in full bloom. Natural, unforgettable. Absolutely alluring! And it lasts forever!

What a beauty, like a blast of cold, fresh, flower-filled air on a hot day. This really shines when temperatures rise and is the perfect summer scent to feel cool, collected and airy. I can't think of anything to compare it to, I often don't love blackcurrant and I'm not detecting much here which is a plus. It's all fresh lilies and jasmine giving an ice-cold creaminess but there is nothing cloying about this. I will say this is intensive. The first blast is potent and you will have a fantastic bubble around you, trailing wherever you go. It smells like the feel of smoothing cold lotion onto your limbs as a fan cools your skin. Fantastic, floral-lovers only, not at all like original pleasures, icy-fresh, dress up or down.

This scent is for lily/peonies/blackcurrant lovers. It’s more complex than that, but it’s mostly a very sweet, perfumy bouquet of white, pink, yellow and tropical flowers with a base of sugary sweet vanilla and warm resins. Very girly and warm weather appropriate. It doesn’t smell like an expensive perfume unfortunately and has a slightly synthetic smell if sniffed up close to the skin, but in the air, Pleasure Intense is intoxicating!! If you can get past this aspect, it’s a gorgeous perfume that smells rich, deep and strong and doesn’t smell like any other floral dominant scents on the market currently from my experience. The performance is great and the price point is very affordable so all in all, it is a good, interesting, intense floral fragrance with some originality and a basic bottle, plastic cap and plain packaging. Would recommend as an affordable option for a lily dominant perfume!

this is so me. i like florals. this is youthful, clean, happy, bright and just perfect for summer. just 2 sprays enough to go for a whole day. also pleasure intense reminds me of Idylle by Guerlain in some way. both is clean, fresh, exciting florals...

Truly a masterpiece! The perfect scent for summer. It's lush, unique, bright, and fun.

To be fair, my bottle may have expired. I can smell the soapy lillies of the OG Pleasures peeking through every now and again, but I mostly smell like maple syrup... It gets worse over the wear time. I don't think the amber-y sweetness of this fragrance compliments the florals at all.

This is cut wet and dewy peony flowers that have been laying out in the hot sun for an hour. They start to expel their perfume at high octaves. The cassis leaves and berries start to emote their scent in the sun. Better than Jo Malone blush peony and suede.

My husband gave this perfume to me as a present on Valentine's Day. It was a surprise, as it is a perfume I had researched due to the good price, but not something I was truly going to buy. I tried it today for the first time, as I had a full day in the office and knew the weather would be warm, I was fancying a floral and spring-like fragrance. The white flowers were super strong at first, a touch green and indolic (but only a tiny bit) and then they mellowed and became sweeter. It gave me a very nice clean and fresh scent all day—not sharp, not overly sweet, just clean and beautiful. I loved smelling it most of the day; it lasted a decent 6 to 8 hours. Gorgeous, one of the best white flowers perfumes in my opinion, with the perfect balance of green, sweetness and freshness.

So lovely, divine and feminine. Lily is the true queen here and she is gorgeous! I love floral scents, especially if they are so realistic and this one here is pure joy. At first I felt a bit overwhelmed by the queen since she’s quite dominant, but after few more wears I was totally in love. Signature scent worthy for those who like such scent profile. It also has a sweet accent, but it’s not synthetic or gourmand - it’s like sniffing floral bouquet, that kind of sweetness. I love it so much! I like the original Pleasures, but this one is a love. It’s more complex, warmer and… intense ;) in the best possible way. I highly recommend tests if you are looking for real, non synthetic flowers. It’s like walking through the garden in the spring, perfection!

For me, the lily note is most predominant. It does smell just like a lily, but amplified. It was too strong for me and I got a headache.

Анонім

Will be absolutely stunning for summer.

I blind bought Pleasures Intense, On first spray, it was green lily, then every other note just morphed and danced. I am really surprised at just how beautiful this perfume is and it has longevity and sillage that perfumes 3 times the price often don't have. Vanilla, I don't smell straight vanilla at all, it mixes with Lily, Jasmine and Tiare flower, that smells like honey and beautiful florals so well blended. This is one I will always have in my collection. What an intense pleasure!

This is a perfume that people who love white flowers like me will definitely love. Imagine the scent of lilies, jasmine and peonies in a big bouquet. Here is a perfect perfume that combines the harmony of vanilla sweetness that is light enough not to be sugary.

If Seasonal Affective Disorder was a geographic location, that’s where I’m from. Our fall and winters are ennndlessly grey and drizzly, with no blue sky in sight for months. When spring finally arrives, people react like we collectively survived the apocalypse. Wearing this makes me feel like I’m turning up the volume on that feeling for everyone anywhere near me. This is one of the beastiest beast mode perfumes I own, which is saying a LOT. The Patron Saint of Springtime In a bottle. This is my absolute favorite for a cool, rainy, spring day! To me, it’s a bold celebration that the sun is finally back, the buds are blooming, winter is over, and everything is full of promise and celebration. Everything around you is beautiful, juicy, bountiful, and new! This perfume smells like that- gratitude, answered prayers, possibilities - in a hyper realistic floral bomb. This is the PERFECT perfume for getting caught in a flash thunderstorm on your way somewhere, showing up with wet hair, glistening skin, just a little undone, breathlessly shaking off your umbrella whilst EVERYONE in the room INSTANTLY falls in love with you. Yup. Accurate. Enjoy.

I wish I had the experiences most reviewers had. Cassis, lily, jasmine… I know now is a terrible combination on my skin. Went from a musky chemical smell to a smoky slightly maple syrup stink. It’s such a shame because I love the Original Pleasures.

Анонім

So powerful. Smells like the refrigerator in a florist's. Beautiful lilies and white florals and peonies with the vaguely sweet base of vanilla and I guess maple that keeps the florals from being screechy. They are strong, though. Wearing this is like being a kid riding in a car on a hot day holding a potted Easter lily to bring to some older relative. Almost overwhelming, but you stick your nose in the lilies and get orange pollen on your face. Then the lily smells like flowers in church and has that ham note. INTENSE is right. If you want to lock in a memory for some occasion, wear this.

Анонім

In comparison with the original, this is loud, brash and bold. Less elegant. Pungent lilies instead of lily of the valley.

Something very nostalgic comes out, in a good way. Like a perfumed-paper-lined drawer of a very beautiful mom. Or a first date night in a pink sweater and a pair of jeans. While the original Pleasures is too pretentious and recognizable. This is sweet and true, but still complicated. Like the friendship in F.r.i.e.n.d.s...
