Spiced-up baby powder - I usually adore powdery scents, but this one is a definite miss for me. It veers into something unpleasant, almost reminiscent of sweaty armpits.

This might just be the perfume I've been looking for my whole life. It's so ethereal yet opulent, perfectly powdery and leathery, clean yet dirty at the same time. Very unique, very interesting scent, for me it's a masterpiece that I reserve for special occasions.

Slightly spicy powdery floral, well blended but the notes are distinct enough to pick apart. Leather makes this powdery floral unique. Major projection upon initial spray, but becomes more intimate. People compliment when they move in towards me. I like this because it feels more personal. My nose adjusted to it quickly, so I don’t have any info on the longevity.

baby powder, cumin, b.o…. smells kind of musty and off putting, like rubbing baby powder over sweaty armpits and coating the concoction in floral body mist. it doesn’t mesh well with my chemistry but i like it much more on a test strip

So many negative reviews or ppl who call it a "granny scent" i dont particularly agree with this. This opens up like a real powdery voilet bomb. Babypowder and almost lipstick like to me, and yes it feels really vintage for sure. But i really dont get the BO notes everyone is talking about. I must say, at first i wasnt sure about this one, especially smelling it on paper first. And the opening is quite spicy in a way i dont really enjoy but that settles after a couple of minutes. But after wearing it a couple of times this smells actually really cosy and sexy to me. It dries down to this musky, sweet; still powdery voilet and rose and i think its just beautifull. Also i dont get any of the animalic notes listed which i found to be a bit dissapointing. (Big fan of animalic notes in perfumes) At first i thought it was too fem leaning for me but as a man i really enjoy wearing it. I wore it today and got complimented 2 times. If i would have smelled this on a woman i would absolutely adore it.

Extremely powdery and vintage smelling, coming from someone who adores powdery feminine scents, this is a no for me. if only there was added vanilla in the base just to give it a touch of sweetness it would be better, way too fresh clean and spicy smelling to me and unfortunately a blind buy I regret, I'll be selling my bottle on eBay message me if interested

Powdery with a little floral. Vintage. Too powdery for me to wear on its own, but a little dab adds a bit of pleasant powder to brighter florals.

Powdery, soapy, musky floral with a hint of violet leaf. Photorealistic J&J baby powder. The rest of the notes are ignored and it has a weak longevity/ sillage. Not bad but not good either. Edit: Citizen queen by JHAG is a better alternative to this.

I wanted a sexy scent, but I got weird granny vibes, def not sexy🥲

On me it’s smells like an expensive, very strong car freshener used to mask cigarette odor, definitely bought by a man. After a while I was able to noticed saliva and ashtray notes. Type 3 fun, wouldn’t do it again.

Smells like a baby wipe that has been rubbed in a sweaty lady's armpit a few times.

I have a tester of this, and at first it smelled really off to me. But after wearing it for a few days, it completely grew on me. Now it feels so beautiful, feminine, powdery, and totally different from what I usually wear on a daily basis.

Powdery violet bomb. Smells like mature baby powder, has a talcum accord. Vintage vibes for sure. Completely feminine.

sweaty violet candies. smells just like a very sweaty man eating temenushki candies. if not for the terribly overwhelming BO smell, i would have loved this fragrance purely for the nostalgia but it is just stinky.

Сразу слышу пудру, помадность, розу, фиалку, что-то винтажное, телесное и очень уютное. Аромат не кричащий, а будто мягко окутывает и постепенно разливается по коже. Со временем он становится еще нежнее и мягче, появляется ощущение жирной помады, теплой кожи и чего-то очень интимного. В базе у меня возникает образ кожаного дивана или корсета, который лежит в шкафу среди духов, масел и красивых женских вещей. Есть явное ретро-звучание, но оно не старит, а делает аромат более артистичным и необычным. Больше всего этот парфюм ассоциируется у меня с театральной гримеркой: жирная помада, пудра, кожа после сцены, воздух, пропитанный косметикой и чем-то волнующим. Для меня это аромат не про любовь, а именно про романтику, соблазн, поцелуй, телесную близость. Он женственный, сексуальный, интимный, томный, плотский и элегантный. На моей горячей коже держится примерно полдня, затихает медленно, очень томно, красиво переливаясь разными оттенками. Носить его хочется не каждый день, а на особые случаи, чтобы он не приедался и оставался чем-то особенным. Мне кажется, лучше всего он подойдет на весну и лето, на свидание, вечер или моменты, когда хочется почувствовать себя особенно нежной и соблазнительной. Отдаленно напомнил мне Trussardi Donna Rosa и хлопковую мягкость некоторых ароматов Solinotes, но Putain des Palaces звучит намного более телесно, пудрово и театрально. Для меня это аромат нежности, розовости, первой влюбленности и девственности, которая кажется чуть запретной и от этого еще более манящей.

It's not discontinued, both sizes are available on their website. I highly doubt they would do that, it's a staple in their collection since its launch in 2006, just like Secretions Magnifiques.

I do think the name of this fragrance is apt. Essentially, it DOES smell like a lady of the night. One who has had many clients that night and has cleaned with baby wiped in between visits. I love powdery scents, but this one is just weird (i guess what else should I have expected from ELDO?) It's a little BO, a little pissy, a little sexual body fluids, and a lot of baby powder. It gave me an instant migraine (aura and all) which is something that has never happened to me before when smelling a fragrance. I had to scrub it off because it was just horrible. My husband said it smelled like 'bathroom products' and my first thought was those scented menstrual products- but they've been lightly used... Idk, be really careful with this. NOT blind buy safe even if you enjoy powdery scents. I couldn't bare to keep it on so I have no idea how the scent develops over time. It was legitimately intolerable. definitely not a popular scent profile for the masses, so if you enjoy being different and want a slutty vibe, you should try this.. I bought this because I saw many people comparing it to a makeup scent profile, which is something I do very much enjoy, if you look at the other fragrances I own. I personally did not get that vibe at all from this fragrance, it's way too dirty and skanky for me personally!

I pictured a Queen of Hearts (yes, the one from Alice, ruthless and short-tempered) who's layered powdered sugar over her makeup powder on her face and put on a glossy red lipstick. This queen has zero patience for anything, and unfortunately since deodorants haven't been invented yet in her era, she keeps ending up in stinky situations and tries to fix it by scrubbing her arms with rose soap. One moment stinky, next moment soapy, then stinky-soapy again, it changes with the wind direction... When the queen gets angry she starts chewing on her lips first, and that sweet, gloopy, glossy lipstick made of jelly must taste amazing! Then she licks her finger and sneaks a little bit of the powdered sugar off her face. But none of this calms her down either! Rage fits, tantrums... Hehehe, that's the kind of scent this is. Very refined scent that starts off innocent basically like foamy baby soap, only to develop within fifteen minutes into a light sweet powdery seduction that corrupts more and more every half an hour - flowers first, violet slows down too fast a progression, but leather and animal undertones rather civet-like evoke clean and pleasantly sweaty bodies during the "performance", everything naturally covered only by a translucent screen for the curious, vulgar but not dark,... who knows what to look for, can smell it...lives up to its name...only pity for the final dry down in the form of bitingness and sticky amber
