Let me be straight to the point . This perfume is highly recommended for making love in bed for first time with your new partner after romantic night ! Your partner will be stick to your neck shoulders and chest after smelling cleanness, milky sweetness and warmth of your body ! and it will never let you down on nights like these. Work great for both male and female but more for male because it will catch her 100% . It's sillage made for close up touch not for anyone else in the room . It's made for skin not clothes !
frutiger aero with an undercurrent of something salacious. for some reason, this smells way more of artificial floral and moss on me than anything skinlike or milky. it dries down a bit more musky and slightly woody (vinyl guaiacol?). was really hoping for milk, as a big fan of the alien movies (particularly the first) which i believe popularized artificial humans having milky latex blood, which i assume was a big inspiration for this. to me (maybe /on/ me?) it's surprisingly close to a lot of the more popular luxury floral fruity fragrances of the aughts, which is kind of a disappointment given the concept. though maybe the alienation of the 2000s shopping mall is just akin to the idea of an unknowable android. hmm
Words aren't enough to describe how much I love this perfume. It smells like an android's metal skin after bathing in a pool of milk, florals, and citrus. Nothing of our modern time, this fragrance came from the year 3030. Someone once described The Ghost In The Shell as smelling like Bjork's All Is Full of Love music video and I could not agree more. I am addicted.
citrusy, usually lactonic scents has a creamy, soapy skin-like feeling. but i don't smell milk. it was a really bright summer fragrance for me that lasts only 30 mins. too normal for this avantgarde marketing!!!!! this bottle is... plastik-like? actually etat libre dorange is too normal for all their marketing. meine empfehlungen for new posers: go with serge lutens
he was whipping up amazing perfumes like actual happiness
a citrusy, milky white floral as expected from the notes, but very wearable, clean and soapy. despite the sci-fi themed marketing, there's not much that is android-like or mechanical in this fragrance at first; if it is a machine, then it would be a cloth mother, its wires disguised with softness, appealing to the comfort signals in the brain. i do like it though, i appreciate a lactonic note that manages to stay fresh on the skin, and balances out the yuzu so it doesn't go full citrus cleaning product. and there's a hint of something unusual underneath, something synthetic and plastic, that betrays the uncanny artificiality of a machine, but only barely so. a close immitation of freshly-washed skin.
When I smelled this one, my first thought was "That's it?". Despite how much the storytelling intrigued me, the scent itsself is quite basic. A calvin klein adjacent dna with a little bit of mugler alien in the drydown. If i blind sampled this, it would not particularly stand out to me. I was very unimpressed by the citrussy opening, which gave me strong air freshener vibes. It does not smell human, lactonic or animalic in any way beyond possibly an abstract allusion but it definetly does deliver on the synthetics. This fragrance was created in a lab and does nothing to hide that fact. It is very cold and articfial. I thought of the white liquid that the major's cybernetic body emerged from in ghost in the shell... perhaps it was supposed to resemble something like that rather than literal milk? The end product unfortunately is quite lackluster. I think this was just not meant for me.
A boring, clean, soapy smell, very conventional and wearable. If you're into that, I assume it would be enjoyable, but if you're looking for uniqueness, it is nothing of the sort. It smells like a Dove beauty bar, a little citrusy in the opening, and after a short while settles into a white musky skin scent. There's nothing electronic, sci-fi or even very milky about it. Sure, it's a refreshing scent that would bode well in warm weather, but the marketing around it couldn't be more off.
to me this smells like peeling an "easy peeler" satsuma and it sprays as you open it. like the white stringy part left on the orange. I think its beautiful and I havent smelt another perfume that can capture this exact moment so well.
I only get something vaguely lactonic after working out in this for a long time. Otherwise it's an opening of yuzu and then nothing but shrill chemical profile, unchanging and slowly tapering. Occasionally, after 5 or so hours, I get a whiff of something almost powdery, then it's gone. Maybe one to revisit when it's 45 C outside instead of 5? Bc rn it's not giving me Major. It's not giving Alita, or 2B, or Chi or even Shinji's mum. Just a test of endurance. Probably down to skin chemistry.
You can get this fragrance for $8 at Target, it’s called “Dove deep moisture body wash”
skin note`are you kidding me? my skin already smells like skin why would i need a skin note? i prefer secretions magnifiques.
Soapy powdery semi floral scent with a clean, semi creamy dry down! If it was a color it truly would be a cream with a tinge of pink. These types of scents on my skin typically make me nauseous after they develop-- but this really works!
A milky soft scent that leans slightly clinical on my skin. It feels cold and uncompromising, like you’re sitting in a waiting room chair made of icy metal while curling into your sweater for warmth. I’m not even sure what kind of environment to wear this for, but i could maybe see myself wearing it to school or on a casual do-nothing day. Definitely expirimental, but still pleasant. Would consider getting a small bottle for shits and giggles, as it is genuinely memorable
Is it Good? Yes Blindbuy? No Worth Collecting? Yes Wow, This stuff is awesome, This stuff can be unisex, although i do think it leans feminine. I'm not going to say this frgrance smells good. It smells unique. I dont think its something that will illicit attraction from any form of the sex spectrum but its oddly a comforting scent. It starts of with a sort of plastically vinyl smell, not in a off putting way but sort of like barbie dolls. You will get a touch of yuzu but no acidity, and then its just becomes a soapy milk smell. This stuff is really relaxing comforting and inoffensive. This isn't really something that will appeal to everyone nor do i think most men could pull this off. All in all a fun scent all around and what it lacks in mass appeal it makes up for in creativity For collectors: Plastic/Vinyl, Soap, Milk. I don't think anything on market comes anywhere close to this scent so for collectors it should be an absolute must. I would say go for a 50ml unless you fall in love with it.
god I love this perfume so much, I made an account just to leave a review. I absolutely get where people are coming from when they say its baby-lotion-like. There is a clean powdery scent that heavily reminds me of baby lotion, but in a more mature and crisp way. I don't get much of that computer air scent at first, more so 6-8 hours in. It still has that powdery scent but with a musk that reads as "clean skin" at its core. Reminds me of living at home with my mom and baby brother; clean house, fresh laundry, and a powdery baby. Had to get her as my first full bottle and make her my signature, I love this one <3
front on its milky soapy to me, smells like a sappy jasmine with like the teeniest bit of citrus occasionally popping up (super wearable) then theres a back of the throat secondary exhale smell that's like hot computer pcb / if you huffed the keyboard duster spray bottle.
Smells exactly like dove soap to me
smells like a clean gas station bathroom (rare)
I can definitely envision Motoko wearing this or smelling like this. The sort of chemically/synthetic smell of the top notes remind me of the air that computer fans blow out, just this chemically blast of citrus detergent laced with metallic-tinged air. Makes sense for a cybernetic human to smell this way, artificial skin bathed in chemical amniotic fluid. Ghost in the Shell lasts long, I especially like the way it smells after a night's sleep rolling around in the linens. However, I don't think this scent works well on me, unfortunately - skin chemistry-wise and looks/style-wise. I would recommend trying it out as a tester or in store to see if it works for you before purchasing. Ultimately though, love the concept and love Ghost in the Shell.
Unfortunately this dries down to a powder citrus scent almost like a cheap baby perfume wished it was more nuanced than that but it’s not
The first smell that hits me is cleaning product. Citrus and cleanliness. Then it turns into what I imagine VHS tapes, tv static and hot lightbulbs smell like. The citrus is very forward and on my skin, I don't get much milk or musk, more chemicals and plastic - but in a way that is weirdly pleasant.
Is it futuristic? I wouldn’t know, I am not a cyborg and don’t know how they smell. I did read the manga and saw the film this fragrance is named after though, and can’t say that yuzu and milk come to mind when thinking of it. Plastic? More like it, but I imagined latex. To me, this is a citrusy/soapy skin scent that is softened by white florals and a milky accord. Performs beautifully in California heat, one of my summer staples this year.
The first spray opens with a powdery, musky, and sweet scent. But after about three or four minutes, it transforms into something completely different. It feels like the scent of a prostitute walking out of a brothel after being attacked by a demon—where the smell of warm skin is mixed with the metallic nuance of blood. There’s a distinctly old-school character running through the fragrance, which makes it even more unusual. Overall, it’s a very confusing, unsettling, and polarizing scent—one that keeps changing and leaves you wondering what you’re actually smelling.
Definitely unique! Starts out smelling like a clean, vaguely floral skin scent, and then the dry down smells like a combination of human intimacy and downtown city air in the middle of the night. I'll have to try this one a couple more times before settling on a rating, because right now my nose remains unsure how to feel about it. It's an odd one for sure.
A scent of skin, milk... soap bubbles and baby wipes. Well crafted, but overwhelmingly feminine, fresh and clean. A woman-child fragrance. A looong way (oh, so very far) from the 1990s Japanese cyberpunk atmosphere of Masamune Shirow. It's a bright, well-balanced fragrance that does nothing to capture the darkness of artificial intelligence, the eerie nature of automatons, or the unsettling world of futuristic android cybercrime. They picked the name for marketing purposes only. Disappointed? Obviously. 4/10
I just got this one in a discovery set from Etat Libre d’Orange, and I gotta say I think it’s one of my faves. I’ve heard the scent is kind of polarizing, but I was really looking forward to trying it. To me it smells very clean, a little bit musky (but like a clean musk, like soap on skin), and a tiny bit chemical. It really lives up to its name in that it feels like a fresh scent with an artificial edge. I love how it smells on me, like fresh out of the shower plus a bit of computer air if that makes sense.
Very clean and inoffensive. Smells like a corporate office.
When I first smelled this perfume, I could smell something I wasn't sure about underneath. It was like a lip gloss that had been left outside in the summer heat for a week. I have no idea what that was about, and haven't noticed it since the first try. I've been wearing it for a while to make sure I know how I feel about it, and I love it more each time I try it. I don't know, but it smells like the most heavenly floral perfume to me now. My mother and boyfriend both said it smelled good, and I'm growing attached to it. I need a big bottle of it, so it's gone straight on my wishlist.
I was anticipating trying this one for a long time and finally made a trip to Perfumology to try it (shoutout Philly!) I was so disappointed. I was really ready to smell something unique or even...interesting? On the testing strip it smelled like plastic and flowers, so I'll give it that. I actually quite enjoyed that smell. On me it smelled live my Dove bar soap and nothing else. Definitely a skin chem thing but I was not a fan of that.
