Perfectly soapy. This fragrance smells sudsy, like walking through the aisle of the supermarket where they keep cleaning products and getting a mix of detergents and dish soaps. It's nice! But I'd wear this on a day I want to feel clean and not on a day when I want to feel special.

Absolute aldehyde BOMB!!! It’s potent and I love it, but I also own most of the aldehyde forward perfumes out there, and this is somewhat redundant to what is already in my collection. It’s amazing, though! Edit: Ok, it’s an hour later and the aldehydic opening has mellowed out to give way to a lovely warm and slightly sweet white floral musk that sits closer to the skin. It’s beautiful, but I still don’t think I’ll get a full bottle.

The first perfume reminded me of my childhood. For a moment I almost burst into tears because I remembered my carefree childhood before the terrible war, when my mother hung up the laundry on a beautiful sunny summer day and I smelled the freshly washed laundry and the scent of carefree summer and my childhood. You can actually smell that carefreeness and cheerfulness here.

My first impression was effortlessly pretty. It opens with a soft, powdery freshness that feels modern rather than vintage. Instead of reading as cosmetic or overly floral, the powder has a clean, refined quality with a gentle warmth underneath that keeps it from feeling cold. It's understated and elegant, creating a beautiful halo rather than demanding attention. The balance between freshness, softness, and warmth gives it an intimate, skin-like presence that feels easy to wear. I'll need a full day's wear to evaluate its evolution, but the opening is polished, comforting, and quietly addictive. It's the kind of fragrance that invites people closer rather than announcing itself.

I bought this as a blind buy as I was so confident id love it. Sadly, while the notes sound dreamy, it was a fail with my skin chemistry. First spray i could smell the freshness of the aldehyde and bergamot which I love this bright opening. Sadly in 10 seconds it settled into an old lady powdery smell- makes me vividly feel like a very old 1960 lady waiting to get her hair styled in a suberburn beauty salon . The clean musk never arrived and I was stuck with skin that smells like old school rose perfume 😫

You' re waiting for your laundry machine to finish the "synthetic fabric" cycle and decide to grab and chew a gum. You choose a peach flavoured one. During the first five minutes, when that concentrated artificial addictive peach flavour floods your mouth, you hear the characteristic jingle alerting that the machine has finished the washing cycle. You open the front door and inhale that lovely freshly washed clothes smell while the peach flavour is still strong in your mouth. They blend and you get hooked. For good. This is Acne Studios to my nose.

frederic malle version of a clean scent not bad but like all of the FM fragrances there is a similar background note and base - whether you try the famous rose one, the ouds, carnal flower, musc r., IT IS THERE AS A BACKGROUND NOTE AND BASE if you smelled them and have a few years of perfume experience you know what im talking about here i smell the cleanness and sterility of aldehydes combined with light flowers and a very dry ripe peach. yes blended well, yes complex like all FM but not for me

Pleasant and fun to wear, feels like being thrown into a room full of sweet candies. The fragrance lasts long but doesn't stick around forever. Smells and lasts great on clothing.

Smells nothing like Blanche Absolu. Smells like lemon Pez candy

It’s too sweet for me, I can’t smell the aldehydes. If you can only smell half a pound of sugar granules, this is it. The longevity is good, though, like 5-6 hours.

A sweet aldehydic detergent scent floating in the air. I never would have believed I'd love this, but it happened. The clean feel in this perfume is connected in my head to a serious, carefully-done act of hanging up laundry. This time the one hanging it isn't me, it's my mom doing it, because she loves using tons of detergent with wild abandon. She's washed the sheets and shakes them out while wet and pins them up. The child's voice inside me says "we're going to suffocate from the smell of the sheets while sleeping again!" and that's exactly what happens. Even though they've dried, when I first lie down at night I'm dealing with loads of this aldehydic scent and trying to focus on sleeping. There are people who don't like stories, but this was the best way I could describe this scent. Even though I don't enjoy sweet scents at all, I found myself wanting to love this one. It has an interesting charm. Even though the sweetness here is soft and fruity, the aldehydes are so striking that the two are fighting with each other, but it's a sweet fight. Besides these two, clean flowers (like muguet) also dominate the scent. And even though it's not listed, there's something in the base giving a slightly dark vibe. I'd say patchouli (very very little) but I can't be sure. Something is definitely there though. The projection and longevity are at very advanced levels. I like the beginning opening notes of fruit. But the jasmine comes out soon. I dislike jasmine on my body. I should have known to stick to my guns. I just don’t like the camphor vibes jasmine gives despite this one being softer than other jasmine dominant perfumes. Pear inc and English fresia by Jo Malone is similar vibes to this with zero jasmine

I love this, gutted I only bought 50ml as I would like to be wearing this everyday of the summer instead of saving it for more special days. Its longevity and performance are off the charts.

Acne Studios' collaboration with Frederic Malle on this fragrance is divisive. The reviews are filled with people who aren't keen on aldehydes and the fresh laundry vibe blind buying this for big money and then complaining that it is quite aldehyde-y and a bit too heavy on the fresh laundry vibe. It is all about that fresh laundry feel. It is airy, light, super clean and fresh and the sweetness in the top and heart are there to evoke fabric softener and those peach flavour sheets you put in your dryer. The thing I like about this is that it is genderless in the way washing drying on a line is. It is the first fragrance I've come across where the intention is not to evoke fresh drying laundry amongst other things, it is to faithfully recreate it from top to heart to base. It isn't a note, it is THE note. And yet, somehow, this is quite wearable. This is a more feminine, much less complex and far more linear, cleaner imagining of the same DNA as Naked Laundry by BTSO, which is one I've always loved. Whereas there's this gloriously sexy, filthy dirty side to all that hotel room sheet cleanliness in Naked Laundry, Acne Studios by Frederic Malle is the day to its night; the light to its dark. It almost feels assexual to me. It is a casual wearer that won't work for anything formal. A woman could get away with more but for guys this is a one or two spray max thing. Would I wear this? Possibly, if I didn't already own Naked Laundry. If I want clean aldehydes then that is the reach. I just love it too much: that horny-but-clean, sweat-on-laundered-sheets sort of feel. Acne Studios doesn't have that same character and is something I think you need to be a lot cooler than me, dare I say younger as well, to get away with. I think it requires you to bring the look and the sexual energy yourself that this quite sweet and innocent fragrance very deliberately, slightly pretentiously lacks. I admire the creativity and its undoubted, non-binary cool, I just think I'm too fat, ugly and old to carry it off. Three Word Summary: Sweet, Innocent Laundry Layering combination: Blessed Baraka by Initio to add depth and woody richness, knock back the peach a bit, without killing the aldehydes. A total change of vibe. Outfit suggestion: properly fitted Levis, white cotton t-shirt, Maharishi G-Shock, Axel Arigato plain sneakers and white Oakley HSTN Meta sunglasses. Scent - 7/10 Sillage - 7/10 Drydown - 7/10 Bottle/packaging - 6/10 Performance - 7/10 34/50

Finally tried on skin . I like it, as I have a aoft spot for aldheydes, but not sure I'd stand smelling like this all day. If you like the vibe, I'd recommend smelling Love-o-matic from room 1015. Bubblegummish laundry , but less sharp to my nose. More sophisticated!

I mean I have this and cloud gazer and although this is better blended and maybe a touch sweeter they are pretty much the same thing except one is $18 and this is in the $200 -$300 range at department stores for the small bottle. I actually prefer that cloud gazer is just a touch harsher and has better projection. This is a great fragrance though. Dryer sheet perfection.

Too much frankincense at the dry down, I loved the fresh opening of this but it dries to smell like a fabric hanged in a room where they Smokey frankincense everyday. Problem is I bought a backup still wrapped because of how much I love the opening of this.. contact me if you’re interested

WOW!! So clean, so fresh, I want to bathe in this! Always loved the smell of newly washed clothes and this is exactly that. Going on my want list. Love it!!

acne studios smells like someone took a pack of sour gummy worms, dumped sugar on it, boiled it down into a liquid, and then had it bottled into a sprayer. it's very concentrated with citruses and fruits and also very sweet. i hate to use the s-word on here, but this a slutty fragrance. i can definitely see why women adore this, but for a man it's just too much imo. if you want something more tame i can recommend kilian's love, don't be shy. similar dna but much more wearable.

I wore this out for the first time today and people treated me like a premium human being.

I had high hopes for this one so I made the mistake of blind buying. Sadly, it is too detergant-y for my liking. This is not clean, this not fresh, this is STRAIGHT UP laundary detergant; go ahead and smell the box of detergant in your bathroom right now, and it is the exact scent of Acne Studios by Frederic Malle, you don't even need a decant to test it. Performance is excellent, as a highly concentrated detergant, it even comes off as "harsh". And EDT or EDC version might be more usable. VERY expensive for what it is, but both Frederic Malle and Acne Studios are expensive brands so it is probalby normal for their target audience. 7/10

This dries down into something beautiful, longevity is insaane. I have coats from months ago that still have this scent lingering. It smells like fresh laundry and as it dries down it becomes this addictive scent that is an instant compliment getter. Very versatile as who wouldn’t want to smell like fresh laundry all year round? It’s definitely blind buy safe, however I would agree the price is almost outrageous for what it actually is. If you want something that will last you all day this is definitely one to pick up. 9/10

Another blind buy FAIL and me falling for the hype. This is sooooo overpriced it is ridiculous. So many better options in this category such as Zarko The Muse, Clean Reserve Warm Cotton, Mosschino Toy 2 to name a few. This smells like musty old powder detergent from the store brand. It isn't fresh or clean smelling and the peach is so synthetic that it smells like chewed up peach gum that's lost all of it's flavour. Selling my decant. If you want a fruity detergent, get Toy 2. It's detergent with a tart and juicy green apple. So much better.

@Lauren387 agree. It reminds me even more of a restroom in a mall where they diffuse those semi-pleasant synthetic fragrant compositions, or a liquid soap you wash your hands with. This fragrance smells equally of clean white floral soap — lily-of-the-valley, to be precise — and fruity bubblegum. I think it would benefit from being toned down a little, as to my nose it feels overly intense, much like Amouage Guidance. Too sweet and musky for my taste, although I do enjoy the soapy aspect.

this is miles better than blanche. i wear this. i used blanche as air freshener in my bathroom.

It's too overhyped. Every influencer says it's the best thing ever and you don't need anything else. Also there is me smelling this yesterday on paper and then on my skin and i'm like do we smell the same thing cause this is just another laundry/bubblegum scent and I cannot justify the price of €350 for this. Like guys calm down.
