Envy Me

This was one of my all time favorite perfumes back in the early 2000s. Gucci, please bring this back 😭😭

I can totally see why people say this reminds them of the early 2000s. It is definitely another bright fruity floral like so many of the time! However, I wouldn’t call it dated. It more universally appealing! It takes all the girly things we love and rolls them into an amazing fragrance. It smells like a fruity and fresh shampoo yet isn’t super soapy. I have to say, there’s something about Gucci scents that I love. Most of them last and last and I really appreciate that! Sadly, it’s tough to find since it’s discontinued. My bottle probably will go off by the end of summer. So, I’ll use it up but I’ll miss it when it’s gone. It’s so fun and flirty for the warmer weather!

I have been eyeing this one for years. Finally, I found a mini bottle second hand. Wow. So 2000s. It smells like lipgloss, hairspray and shampoo. Its so pretty. I wish I could have a full bottle.

Very early 2000s... sooo much peony. Someone gifted it to my sister's friend, who didn't like it and gave it to her, and eventually she passed it onto me. It's a very nostalgic scent. It smells great - fruity, juicy and floral. The only problem is I had to get rid of it because I couldn't stop sneezing from all the peony. Very sad! I wish I still had this/didn't seem to have some kind of weird allergy to it.

I FEEL LIKE I'M A 2000s GIRLY POP updating my blogs while having posters of Britney Spears and Kesha on my bedroom wall. So you might have already noticed that I'm trying to say this fragrance is old-fashioned and it's such a cliche one from those years. But do I like it? Sure. Would I recommend it for everyone? HELL NO. This fragrance is not for everyone, but it's mostly for people who adore nostalgia and have a thing for it, so if you prefer modern and minimalist perfumes like Gucci Flora series this might not be yours. This perfume takes you on a journey of different fragrances; now some might love this, and others hate it. That's why I recommend you try a sample before buying a full bottle. In the end, the fragrance is fruity and so juicy with a delightful touch of floral scent, but IMO mostly fruity. It's not modest at all, and it's not going there either, especially first notes, so if you've got a sensitive nose, this one might give you a great headache. Even though it's a strong fragrance, yet it's suitable for both daily and occasional usage, and it's not bothering for people around you and it's a good one for almost every season.

I love this! Rose and peony/freesia with a bit of tea and musk. Smells like a fancy fabric softener. This reminds me very much of Adidas Adrenaline for women, and a Victoria Secret perfume called Bombshells in Bloom. And maybe even Clinique Happy in Bloom 2014.

Smells like a combo of hairspray,deodorant,lip gloss and body lotion.Very floral and powdery with a hint of sweetness. I dont like it but its nostalgic.

Gosh I miss this and the original Gucci guilty women’s perfume! Why do they discontinue their best perfumes !

I remember loving this in the 00s. Today I got a whiff of Super Moon by Carner Barcelona and the scent was sooo familiar but I could not place it initially. However I suddenly recalled Envy Me and I am fairly certain that it was the reason for the familiarity. If you love Envy Me I highly recommend you to check out Super Moon!

I bought this bottle in my 20’s when it first released. I’m now 41 and I found it!! It’s 20 years old and it still smells absolutely stunning!!

This is one of my Favorite fragrance EVER! Finding a replacement seems to be impossible! I’m so 💔 Please if anyone sees this and can recommend a dupe or something extremely close it would be immensely appreciated!! Still crying everyday that this is gone *sniff*

I used to love this when I was a teen. Lovely, fresh, juicy, good-vibe, and youthful scent for the spring and summer. It's definitely a day aroma, but I could also imagine it on a nice summer evening, for example, for a walk on the beach. Imo it's more of a sweet light floral than fruity. I don't detect any tobacco or musk. The big surprise is how durable it is - solid 8+ hours on my skin and hair, and even more on clothes, which is very unusual for a floral fresh scent. It brings back memories, so I like it, but even if it were still available, I wouldn't wear it regularly - I'm turning 36 soon, and this perfume just feels inappropriate and unserious for a mature lady. Luckily, I have found a very cheap dupe (7 euros!) that is stunningly similar and just as durable as the original. It's a Turkish brand called Sansiro. This dupe, of course, I keep in my collection and use it whenever I am in a girly, nostalgic mood.

I used to love the original Gucci Envy. My mum brought me a bottle of Envy Me in error and I didn't really like it but i kept it anyway because it was from my mum. I wasnt even aware back then that Gucci was a designer scent. I'm so glad I kept hold of it as I recently re tried it and I love it! So weird how our tastes change over the years isnt it! I've had that 50ml bottle since around 2005 and it's still as good as the day I got it, although I try to use it sparingly as it's not available anymore. Such a shame Gucci Envy and Envy Me got discontinued

Fruity teas and fresh cut floral bouquets. This scent definitely gives me nostalgia for the early 2000s. It's bright and fresh, but not super light, it's more heady, rich, syrupy fruits and punchy flowers. A happy go lucky, confident, and beautiful woman well dressed in hot pink is who I picture wearing this scent. It'd work as a flirty date scent, and I think it would work in the daytime or evening and year round.

So sad that it discontinued… It had been my all time favorite since when I was early 20s. Ran out the last bottle I had and had to find something new. Settled with YSL Mon Paris for some reason. It’s way sweeter but I kinda like it. But I really wish they bring it back someday. And like the other review said, Divain 154 is very very similar like almost 95% I would say. Top to middle is exactly the same but it dries down on my skin a little differently. It doesn’t last that long like Envy Me did, but it was like $25, so overall I’m very happy with that and it was a great purchase!

It's one of my all-time favorite old-school vibe perfume. I so much love the rose-mixed floral vibe of this. I did a review about this for my Zest Girls YT channel. I highly recommend this for a sensual romantic date night.

It is fresh and clean, on me it lasts an hour, pleasant and easy reach, had to respray throughout the day. I’m not a fan of peony at all😐Unfortunately I couldn’t smell any of the drydown notes except a light musk. There are better freshies out there, just get Ocean di Gioia

Hey perfume lovers! I finally find a dupe for this beauty.. it was really hard :D divainparfums.com has got the No. 154 which is more than 90% similar to Envy me. I recieved it yesterday and since than i'm just floating on nostalgia's cloud. It was my early 20s favourite scent.... the performance is good about 4-5 hours maybe more but i think is enough :) i'm really grateful for the experience <3

I wish they will bring this back.. my 1st designer perfume. So many memories with this scent. It smells really good in summer. Nothing ever smells like this perfume.

Definitely not getting most of the notes, but it is a fresh (not green) smelling beauty. I don’t love the scent of roses, but in this one I really like it. Do not overspray because this might be too much. Soft, girly, fresh, flirty.

To me this is an early 2000's version of a designer equivalent to Delina perfume without the middle eastern notes.

Pleasant but not groundbreaking. I was actually surprised when I looked at the notes... I definitely don't detect the tobacco in this, nor would I expect it to be part of the composition of a fragrance like this. Envy Me is a bright, buoyant, feminine fragrance for spring. It is a happy and uplifting scent that is uncomplicated and projects a youthful, carefree essence. The opening is fresh, fruity and floral. "Juicy" is how I would describe it. On me, the drydown leans heavily into the rose notes. This is not a fragrance with much projection, unfortunately. If you really want to project that happy, carefree, girly energy throughout your day, you may need to keep spraying this!

honestly it smells like a mix of sky di gioia and versace bright crystal it has a strong peony note and is fresh, not my cup of tea but it is nice and clean fragrance

This perfume smells exactly like Lehcaresor Rose Papier Poudre (powdered blotting paper) that my grandma used. This is more floral than fruity. I can barely smell the other fruity notes which is quite disappointing. It gives a linear scent because the rose and base notes are prominent all throughout. No matter how many times I smell it on my skin, clothes or bottle, I am hit with a dried roses bouquet or potpourri smell. It is heavier on the floral and also has a sharp, citrus scent probably from the pineapple. If you're a fan of rose scents then you might enjoy this.

i got one many years ago for my wife when we happens to see this on a fragrance roadshow. it was quite a new fragrance then. being an asian, i find it familiar and different to other fragrance at the roadshow. recently i stumble on this webby and i realise why we choose this.
