Flora Gorgeous Magnolia

Gucci Flora Gorgeous Magnolia is such a pretty, summery flirty fragrance. You can really smell the magnolia, but there’s also a touch of blackberry and a creamy coconut note that makes it feel sweet and smooth. In the beginning, it can come across slightly soapy, but once it dries down, it becomes much sweeter and more berry-like with a subtle hint of rose. Overall, I would describe it as a sweet floral fragrance that feels especially fitting for someone in their 20s. I can understand how some people might find it a little “old lady-ish,” but I think it really depends on your skin and which notes stand out on you. The patchouli isn’t overwhelming at all, which I like. I’d give it an 8/10 because I really enjoy the scent, but in my opinion it can be a little strong.

So disappointed that this is yet another perfume with that strong, sweet ambrox that overwhelms all of the notes. It could have been a great fragrance.

The berry scent in here doesn't work with the coconut for me. I really wanted to like this, but it's a touch nauseating.

I am completely enamored with this scent. Just what I was searching for, an ultra-modern, light, safe scent that is both delicious and refreshing and innocent. Applied today after my shower, when I wanted something pleasing, inviting and neutral, served as a perfect prolongation of in-shower freshness. It is exactly such a scent, water included, or maybe steam - your body washed with gentle floral gel. Wearing this makes me feel exactly as fresh as if I never left the shower. And it is gentle, pampering and clean. So feminine at that. Sweet but balanced. Warm but fresh. Floral but edible. My shower gel was Tesori d'Oriente Ikigai - cherry blossom and rice water (a perfect fit for Irresistible by Givenchy, but nice with this Flora, too) I was meeting up with a group of people feeling soft and safe. Not a chance anyone was bothered by my perfums, but I feel them on myself all the time. I love my showers. And how a steamy bathroom smells afterwards. How cool to prolong that feeling. Similar effect to Versace Woman. 6 hours and still as strong as after application in 22°C (it is gentle from the start, just stayed on the same intensity till now). But after 6 hours it disappears and needs reapplying imo. I now know all the Floras and this is my clear favourite, while Gorgeous Gardenia is similar and Gorgeous Orchid much stronger and clearly floral with banana facets. The Intense Gardenia version is juicier, but disappears fast on me. The Jasmine very old fashioned and not for me.

I like this one more than Gardenia, more versatile and a little less sweet. I prefer pure florals which this one is more in the range of. Also doesn't give me a headache!

Versatility in a bottle. I imagine it fit for any weather or occassion. Romantic, bridal, workplace, free time. It is clean, warm, gentle, sweet. Radiates gently first the warm and cozy then floral notes. It is a novelty out of the parts. I cannot say I recognize the separate notes. Tulle in scent form. One spray from my sample radiates nicely and reminds me of Kayali-style but better, with better projection and yummier notes. It smells like I wanted Kayali Yum Boujee Marshmallow to smell. Truly fits the advertising campaign. Just ordered a bottle as I will get a gorgeous mirror with it but I must say this is the scent that I imagined for myself recently, one very modern style that I will love. It gives a gorgeous, hot and sweet aura that feels gourmand. It is however majorly gentle. I feel praline, not that different from La Vie Est Belle. I even wonder how it will do in heat but it is subtle, so I have high hopes for it. Stylish, chic, feminine, a bit childish truly fluffy animals and garden flowers. With time the floral notes come to the front, still surrounded by warm embrace. It changes but does not change its delectable character. I did not know this collection, only their older versions that were rather banal florals though pretty. But this is so much more. I thought these are just repackaged but no, they are new scents. In a way one can also say it smells like a good shampoo or conditioner. But not quite. I perceive it as more of a dessert. Coconut mousse eaten in a garden with blooming magnolia. I already liked the banana Gorgeous Orchid and the suble shampoo-like Gorgeous Gardenia that I've met this year. With the Gardenia Intense also making a good impression on me. But this is the best out of the lot. Only Gorgeous Jasmine awaits my evaluation. For such a long time I did not know they are so much fun. Safe, but not boring, a lovely gift as this is hard not to like. Especially young, delicate females will like this one. My new love. At 4 hours mark the floral notes become more present and the overall effect reminds me of shower gel. At 5 hours mark woody notes come to the front. At 6 hours mark it is pretty much gone, it remains a sheer skin scent. On the plus side, when at work after 6 hours you start to be stressed and heated you wont be leaving clouds of your perfums around but rather a creamy-rice-woods aura close to you. And completely gone before your afternoon or evening perfums, which might be a plus. And while it lasts it is adorable. And so unlike classical perfums. Cleaniness and cuteness. Also a closed spaces scent - performs admirably inside. On a walk - I do not feel it around. My bottle sprays a super fine mist - I love it.

Received this as a gift tester with purchase, so no harm done. This is generic very sweet magnolia and some red berries (no woods or other notes to my nose) with very short almost non existent longevity (in ~1h there was no scent left on my clothes and from skin it vanished even earlier). For my taste to sweet and boring, no depth or development. Not for me for sure, but can imagine that some younger girls can enjoy it.

It smells nice but the longevity is really bad. It fades super fast and needs constant reapplication. The atomiser on the people really satisfying to use though

This smells like very thick, creamy, milky, floral-fruity-coconut-scented shampoo. Clean, creamy, and sweet (but not nauseatingly). Suitable for cooler weather, because although this is shampoo-y, it’s got some weight to it. It isn’t zingy or bright like many scents in its category. In a way, I’m reminded of Crystal Noir. Both have that creamy white shampoo smell and texture, in my opinion. Every now and then someone asks on the forum for a scent that smells “like the girl in class with wet, gorgeous-smelling, freshly-shampooed hair” and this is it, if you ask me. This isn’t groundbreaking at all, in fact it’s very safe, likeable, and even a bit boring, but I still like it. My collection's current shampoo scent is Miracle by Lancôme, but I could see myself getting a travel size of this after I've finished that one.

Opens with a beautiful white bouquet that quickly dissipates so the base notes can bloom: amber and vanilla. The florals make it great for warm weather, and the vanilla makes it great for cool weather. Very nice.

This is beautiful. I love the smell of it. It is so pretty. It just does not last on me at all. Maybe i go nose blind because I find no trace of it on skin or clothes after a few hours. It is lovely though. I would love to find something similar that lasts longer.

I don't get any florals here, just spicy, woods, musk. I really wished I could smell magnolias! I am from the SE USA, where magnolia grandiflorum are abundant, and get none of that magnificent smell here. Ok, I see the pyramid says they used saucer magnolia instead, but I don't smell that either. Maybe it's just my nose. 😞

So what a predictable and generic iteration of Gucci Flora, with a very pleasant and creamy coconut opening. A bit too synthetic for my liking as I occasionally get surface cleaner feel from this.

Love the coconut/dewberry opening and mid-phase, but the full dry down skews on the somewhat dated side to my nose. Still a solid floral overall though! :) I don't think there's a bad scent in the Flora line, although I like Gardenia the best.

This is a cute creamy coconut floral. I get ylang ylang, magnolia, berries and tons of musk and coconut. The coconut note smells the slightest bit synthetic, but it’s still good. It kind of gives off air freshener vibes but made wearable. I can see why it’s loved- but for me, it’s just a like. I’ll definitely get through my travel size either way. It’s just not full bottle worthy to me.

One of the best scents I've ever received from a perfume subscription service. It's just so likeable. I'm somewhat surprised people don't talk more about it. It does have that Juicy Couture berry top note, but I also smell some white florals and a very pretty vanilla base that doesn't smell cheap. The woods are subdued, nothing crazy or abrasive. It is musky in nature. I don't smell magnolia particularly, which tends to make a perfume smell dated imo. It is sweet but not necessarily gourmand in the strict sense, it's definitely not a freshie. This is a medium heavy scent, probably not the best for summer but great for every other season. It does have a mass appealing DNA, I can sort of smell elements of Juicy Couture, and maybe Black Opium but I prefer this to those. My bf likes it and I'd bet most men would. I'm super impressed. I haven't smelled such a well blended scent in a long time.

STUNNING, delicious, i love this scent. i havent tried the whole flora collection yet but im beyond happy with this one. the yummy berry opening gives way to a coconut magnolia cream pretty quickly that i sat with for hours. i do with there was more projection and stayed stronger for longer, but honestly im still getting really faint notes on my skin almost a day later so i cant complain. i do think you're paying for a brand in part, but im gonna buy another bottle. its GREAT for layering with a gourmand in my opinion.

Floral, coconut, fruity, musky, white floral, sweet, citrusy, patchouli, lactonic, powdery, luminous, lush, feminine, chic, sensual, romantic, classy, elegant, sophisticated, charming, whimsical, enchanting, captivating, delightful, inviting, cozy, comforting On me this opens with fruity dewberry, creamy coconut, and sweet citrusy orange blossom. The heart blooms with slightly waxy and lemony magnolia, lush jasmine sambac, exotic ylang ylang, and delicate lily-of-the-valley. The dry down intertwines soft musk, comforting blonde woods, and patchouli brings a nice depth that balances out the fruity and floral notes nicely. The notes that are the most prominent on me are the magnolia, dewberry, coconut, and musk followed by the woody base notes. I’ve always really enjoyed the scent of magnolias, so whenever this came out I knew I’d have to try it. Whenever I first got my bottle I was surprised by it, and didn’t like it as much as I’d hoped I would. However, after having it for a couple years it’s grown on me, and I enjoy it a lot more now. I seem to pick up on the magnolia more now as the central note than I originally had, which I’m very happy about. I have samples of Gorgeous Gardenia and Gorgeous Jasmine (I like Gardenia more than Jasmine), but didn’t love them enough to purchase. I do own Gorgeous Magnolia and my favorite, Gorgeous Orchid. The bottles are absolutely beautiful, especially Magnolia and Orchid. creamy, warm, sweet magnolia. absolutely delicious floral

i love the bottle, especially the color tone. and i think it smells exactly like how the bottle looks for some reason i expected it to be heavier, but i absolutely loved it! it’s soft, clean, slightly sweet and such a good everyday perfume choice. the scent might be a little “ordinary” yeah but honestly i’m willing to overlook that because i really enjoy it :] even though i can’t really get the (dew)berry note, the magnolia smells beautiful and the coconut blends in so nicely. it also reminded me of bodycare products that contain lotus..? like dove’s lotus & rice water line i feel like everyone would like this. it sits right in the middle of sweet and floral which makes it a great gift option i think it’d work for every occasion, every season, and every time of day - it’s such a versatile scent. i don’t think it would feel overwhelming even in the heat of summer. it also has a very slight touch of masculinity but it’s subtle enough that even the most feminine girl wouldn’t find it unappealing this reminds me of a brunette girl around the ages of 16–25 (maybe because that’s me :))

the bottle is BEAUTIFUL! i really love the shade of purple. im obessed with the sort of musky scent it has to it. very mysterious and elegant.

Something about this is so good. Not at all nauseating imo. I probably wouldn’t purchase this though because of how slightly harsh it is on me. I smell a (little bit) sweet, yummy (in a non-edible way), flowery coconut. Like it smells very clean, but like I said on me it’s harsh smelling with my skin chemistry. It would be a great spring summer scent! I still prefer the yellow bottle (Gorgeous Orchid).

This is such a nauseating scent. It literally smells SOO perfumey, that I can’t even smell any of the notes. It also leans a little bit masculine, and smells a little “clean”? Hard pass

I finished a bottle of this last year and although I loved it I thought I could live without it because the longevity isn’t very impressive and I have a lot of other spring/summer scents that I love. Well, spring is here and it turns out I absolutely cannot keep living without it.

I love this one....its my second bottle and although it doesnt last long, I love it. I have been disappointed by its longevity and have been trying other perfumes but after a month,today I put it on, and I think I dont like others as much as I love this one. So time for a third bottle soon

Okay, I’m definitely not on the same page as everyone else with this perfume XD I was blind-testing this fragrance, and to me it came across as quite dark, creamy, nutty, and seductive, with a subtle milky coffee nuance in the background. Perfect for winter nights. Creamy vanilla coffee with nuts - that’s what I’m getting, lol. I was almost convinced it belonged in the same universe as Black Opium or something similar. So imagine my surprise when I read the notes and saw the name of the fragrance XD It seems like my mind was playing tricks on me with this one. Pleasant for certain occasions, but not really my cup of tea. It may feel cloying to some. Rating: 6–7/10.

Smells like a thousand wishes by bbw but in a more mature way. It’s okay and I think it would be pleasant to smell on somebody else.

I cannot tell you enough how much I love this!! Perfect spring and summer scent. I definitely need a bottle. It’s beautiful, clean, elegant and put together. Can’t get enough! And the bottle is lovely 💜

Got a sample when I bought another perfume. Turns sickly sweet on my skin. Like put flowers, water and sugar in a pan, reduce to a syrupy consistency, then add coconut milk and more sugar, simmer again until you have an almost solid paste, let it cool down, roll in a pink fireworks wrapper and put a patchouli fuse in it. If that's your thing, get cooking. I had to dispose of it safely.
