Ohmygoodnizgracious I love this! Was part of a bundle sale i dont think the person realized it was anything rare or discontinued but boiii am I so glad to have taken a chance and brought and discovered it. Sooo keen to try the first one now

This is the most incredible fragrance. It smells like a feminine Gin & Tonic and is so good for Summer. Guys, if you're looking for a body double of this fragrance, I just smelled Armani Prive Santal Dan Sha, and they are nearly identical! The Gucci is a bit more girly and bright, but they are ultimately the same - so if you, like me, grew up on Gucci Parfum 2.... your grown up version is Santal Dan Sha. Going in for the full bottle. Another option is Versace Eros pour Femme - smelled it on a co worker and thought she had an old stash of this.

The world needs this fragrance back, this was so clean, light and feminine. The perfect solution to what to wear.

I’ll be forever bitter that this has been discontinued. My mom used to wear it and sometimes I’d wear it too when she wasn’t watching. Absolutely lovely fragrance. Forever missed. 🥲

flat ,banal and outdated , very similar to Gucci Envy Me,but lighter

Nice bergamote (both EdT and EdP) from essential parfums - a lot of similarities in how it starts and develops, designed by the same Perfumer

I have a 50ml bottle for sale, UK only. I am downsizing my huge collection, take a look at what other discontinued gems I'm selling (top shelf on my profile).

It opens with a mix of berries and citrus, then shifts into a light floral heart (peony, violet) with a smooth musky-woody base… overall it feels airy and slightly playful rather than deep or intense (￣▽￣)ノ

It’s not loud at all… more like a gentle, pretty vibe that stays close to you (˶˃ ᵕ ˂˶) But… it can feel a bit too soft and simple, like it fades into the background ｡ﾟ(ﾟ´ω`ﾟ)ﾟ｡

My all time favourite fragrance! Why did they ever discontinue?! Thanks to the Hufflepuff gardener I bought the perfume parlours Florence Lady B Wow an exact match! Finally after 10 years I have the smell back!

I love this perfume. It's very feminine and fresh. Lasts for a long time and have had many compliments. Please bring it back. There are no other that smells as this. My favourite perfume ever.

This is such a nostalgic fragrance for me. This was one of the first expensive designer perfumes I owned as a teenager in the 2000s. It was so different from the other scents that were popular at the time, Clinique Happy and Estee Lauder Beyond Paradise come to mind. Perfumes my mom wore. Not bad, but a little heavy on the sweet and fruity notes. Gucci II, however, is clean and crisp. It is the perfect combination of fruity and woody. There truly is nothing else like it. Although it would be an older perfume now, it remains timeless. It is such a classic scent that can be easily worn by today's youth, I believe. Such a shame that Gucci had to discontinue it, because as I said, no other fragrance smells anything like it. Also, thanks to the reviewer below me, tmr88, for recommending the dupe by Palermo! I'm going to have to try it when my current bottle runs out!

A sentimental favorite that truly holds up. This was my first designer purchase at 15, and I still find the composition stunning. The cedar provides a sophisticated woody backbone to the berry notes, while the peppery kick adds a modern, 'cool-girl' edge. It’s feminine without being cloying. Pro-tip: If you’re in Australia, the Palermo Perfumes inspiration is an exact match for a fraction of the price.

This is the perfect slightly sweet, but mostly fresh blackberry perfume. Its sexy without trying too hard. I have a mini, I wish I could get a full bottle.

I recently was lucky enough to acquire 2 x full 50ml bottles of Gucci ii. I never owned or had the chance to try it when it was released and available - probably because I was a mid 20s girl who was only on a Coty 'Exclamtion' budget at the time. So this is my first experience with it. Straight up - This is all about frosted berries in icy woods. Not a 'mature' scent profile - but this screams luxury, on paper and it's notes listed- it could be mistaken for a Bath & BW body mist. It indeed is not. Gucci ii feels like it was (And seems to be echoed by many reviewers) the perfect gateway - yet not an amateur one - scent to have owned to step into the world of designer and luxury fragrances. My gateway scent in this 2000s era was none other than Guccis other discontinued fragrance 'Gucci Premiere' (CURSE YOU GUCCI!) I can see everywhere that alot of people have such a deep connection to this fragrance because it is connected to their teen and early adulthood when they once owned it. We indeed have the flaw and tendency to all think our memories of youth were 'The good days'. So 'this scent reminds me of my youth' is something we all so desperately want to have the opportunity to have in our possession to do so to invoke. This is the magic we all are here for. If you get it, you *GET* it. The thing is, even though this scent is very 'youthful', and to my nose - I guess what could be perceived as a (forgive me) 'generic' floral/sweet fragrance, I cannot for the life of me think of any perfume to this date that comes remotely close to it. It feels like this could have been done easily going by it's scent profile. But this is not me insulting the perfume. On the contrary, I think this is a testament to Gucci and the scent itself. Gucci has managed to create a perfect, extremely good quality fragrance that has been kept perfectly time vaulted to represent it's time and era, yet still holds a candle to the releases of more current times. Although this holds no scent memory or ties me to the vibes of the mid 2000s eras that other scents have for me - I can see how easily this would for those that did own it. I can totally understand the connection for others and their yearn and need to have this back again in their hands. She is *pretty* - if this was released today, it would perhaps fall under the radar because it wouldn't be deemed 'complex' or groundbreaking - but here again - it couldn't be described as something that has been done before. I hope this can be re-released for all those that yearn for this scent to be theirs again because of the connections to those memories and joy. Unfortunately, as we all know, re-releases rarely hold up in comparisons to their OGs. I feel rather guilty that I have 2 of these bottles in my possession because I do not feel truly worthy of the rare luck that this is. I hopefully can pass them on to somebody who deserves them. And give the joy it can provide. On a last and final note. The BOTTLE! Basic concept, yes - but the quality! The weight of the lid and bottle are something you don't see in designs in todays age. Very simple and 'basic' structrually, but so damn aesthetically pleasing to the eye and amongst anbodys fragrance collection display. Effortlessly exudes Gucci class and high end style. *Cough Cough* Gucci Rush - you need to take a seat in the naughty corner 😉.

I am so sad that this fragrance is discontinued. Just sent in a request to Gucci to relaunch it. One of my all time favorite scents. It was so fresh, delicate, feminine and classy. I used to wear this on nights out circa 2007. I would do anything to smell this masterpiece again.

I'll never get over this perfume being discontinued. I think about it daily. Absolutely gorgeous scent.

Éclat 222 RAR smells exactly the same!

I swear this fragrance is Gucci's very best. I wear it all the time, and I get compliments all the time. You can wear this all year round; it's truly heaven on earth🥰🥰🥰

This was the scent I wore in high school. I forgot it existed, and then someone posted a used bottle of Parfum 1. I was right back remembering what it smelled like - this is a masterpiece. I'm trying to get my hands on a bottle off ebay but the prices are insane. It's creamy, while being shampooey, while being fruity. It's SO delicious and bright, and happy, and extremely chic at the same time.

in a word it's love..it has some slight spiciness in the beginning, then it remains clean, fresh..it lasts quite long even on hot summer days..and has sudden bursts of fragrance through out the day..it grows on you and i fond myself looking for thos smell when it's almost gone..glad i could grab a bottle before it was discontinued..that's why i use this on very special days, for myself, when i want to smell put together and elegant

A fresh, woody-fruity scent. There is a lot of cedar there and some berries (for me they are sour berries) and a slight hint of spring flowers. As I do love cedar, this is/was the perfect perfume for me, especially in winter. The icy air combined with the scent of the perfume always made me think of chosing and cutting the Christmass tree. Someone recommended the Eclat perfume. It is 90% there, but not identical; I find it a bit sharper and a bot less well blended. Nevertheless, the best alternative at the moment and for a very good price.

Reminds me of my youth! This is all I wore between the ages of 17-19. Where can you buy this now??? I just remember it being girlie, flirty, fruity and sweet with a tiny hint of spice. Very pretty crowd pleaser with a slight point of difference. I miss this!

Could they just bring it baaaaaaaack!!!!!!!????? I have been looking for it for many years, but not reasonably priced anywhere in this day and age, its insane what this bottle can sell for now.. Its my ultimate teenage perfume, and I want it back.. Update: so Éclat 222 RAR should be a dupe for this, so gonna try that, i hope its the same as I remember it.

Anyone in Europe looking for a dupe: Eclat nr 222. It's been a long time since I smelled the real thing, so I can't really compare it, but you can always give it a try. If you loved Gucci eau de parfum II, chances are you're at least going to like this one.

I have yet to find something that smells like Gucci II. My mom wore it as her night out perfume when I was little, so I'm 100% biased on this review. We still have a tiny bit left and it's just divine. I think it would make a great comeback these days since it's so unique but not too niche.

This is my go-to scent for everyday wear! It's light and fruity, not overpowering at all. I get a lot of compliments on it, especially the blackberry note. It's youthful and feminine without being too sweet.
