Nice scent, quickly becomes skin scent, shampooy drydown and somehow has the same thickness or dna that follows through L'Art & La Matière line.
This was a blind buy after watching an Instagram review. I'd been looking for a peach fragrance for a very long time and couldn't pass this one. I immediately fell in love. I'm finishing my second bottle (200 ml, the first one was 100ml) and the third one is coming in the mail (another 200ml - I love it THAT much). I'm constantly getting compliments on it, to the point where people literally write down the name or Google it right in front of me to make sure they get it right. It's insane! I've never had a perfume get me so many compliments! It's expensive as hell, but I'll keep buying for as long as I can. It's a gem.
Youthful perfume, sweet, shampoo - like or hairspray - like. Too sweet for me, lacks any depth to make it fresh. I can see a young girl wearing it and enjoying it. For more mature and elegance woman it lacks the „it” factor. I gave it a try many times using it globally but it was never a wow for me so I am giving up on my bottle. It is „peach meh”. It does not remind Fleur du Mal either as it lacks any leather note.
I absolutely LOVE this perfume. I ordered a 5ml sample and have been using it slowly, as I'm torn about buying a full bottle with the exorbitant price tag! BUT. It's delicious. White peach, light and lovely, mixed with soft florals... and the leather note grounds it, keeping it from being too simple or juvenile. Peach is such a great note in perfume, but it can lean into a heavy, sweet, syrupy mess, or slide into fruity shampoo territory. This is an adult version of peach perfume, and it's quite sophisticated. Afraid my expensive taste might win out, and I'll end up going for it. Darn. My wallet may not love it, but my nose certainly does!
Yuck! They it smells like peach initially but unfortunately my skin chemistry and brain hate leather notes and everything gets overpowered by it. I only smell peach on the first minutes and then straight up car seat.
This won my heart… I chose it as a birthday gift for myself last month. Earlier, whenever I tested it, I loved it but felt the osmanthus was taking over and dimming down the peach… But on a recent trip to Australia, while browsing the Dries Van Noten collection at Mecca, I came across a scent called Fleur du Mal, which actually smelled like a lighter, fainter version of Pêche Mirage… I was instantly confused. I knew I was loving the peach energy, but I only wanted to pick the one that would last longer… So I did a full day wear test with generous sprays, thanks to the super sweet staff at Mecca who helped me with samples. I did buy a lipstick from DVN , so I guess they were a little extra generous …. Anyways, although the scent was magical, it didn’t win the test of time… It faded faster than a mist, which was so strange to me. When I came back to my country, I knew I had to pick up Pêche Mirage… and I simply love it and appreciate it so much more now…. Guerlain’s L’Art & La Matière editions have a special place in my heart… and this is my third fragrance from their exquisite collection. - Bhavna Darira
The peach in this comes off as more of a cosmetic peach, maybe a white underripe peach. Not your typical juicy type of peach note which is a bit more restraining than i would have expected. The leather is not really there in a conventional sense, but more of a suede. Suede (particularly suederal) has a bit of a watery quality to it and that is what this brings to the fragrance in my opinion. Just imagine a watery peach and thats what this smells like.
I agree with the comments saying this smells like peach iced tea. Not a specific branded one, more like a generic bottled tea. Luckily for me, there are no green tea notes. Overall, it is a pleasant, positive, prominent, not too sweet but not bitter either, peach iced tea unisex. Somewhat a more relaxed version of Bitter Peach I suppose.
Pêche Mirage is a beautiful blend of peach, osmanthus, saffron, and suede. It opens with a fresh spicy burst of peach, cassis, and saffron before settling into a softer peach-apricot-osmanthus heart. The suede remains noticeable throughout the wear, giving the fragrance a more textured and slightly edgy character. Unlike many fruity fragrances, it never becomes particularly sweet and stays comfortably unisex. Having worn both, I would choose Fleur du Mal over Pêche Mirage. They share a very similar peach, osmanthus, and suede DNA, but Fleur du Mal feels softer, smoother, more feminine, and more elegant. Pêche Mirage is more suede-forward, slightly spicier, and more unisex, with the leathery character remaining more noticeable throughout the wear.
It’s a very light airy peach with a very clean airy leather- how Gurlain manages to create clean airy leather in their fragrances is beyond me- ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL AND REGAL! I heard Volare makes a good dupe for this, vanilla plantifolia, and cuir beluga. Will definitely be trying them out because the prices on these are ridiculous
Smells like a peach ice tea. The peach note is pleasant and not overwhelmingly sweet. However, the leather is not that prominent to my nose.
To the person who said this reminded them of a peach iced tea, YES. With leather and florals mixed in. No sugary sweetness here. Just a pleasant fruity leather. Very well done.
I never looked to the notes so imagine my surprise when this turned out to be a not quite ripe peach- not at all sugary and suede. Lots of suede. It’s interesting, would have to try again but doubt I’d buy it.
Guerlain. I have no words. All their stuff is phenomenally perfumed, and this is no exception. The perfect light and airy peach scent, perfectly balanced with the leather accords. The leather is not too strong to the point where it gets obnoxious, however perfectly adds depth to the scent without overcomplicating it. I rarely get the opportunity to try peach forward scents, this one perfectly fills the gap. It projects nicely, and lasts 5-7 hours. This fragrance has been living rent free in my mind for the last month, if anyone has any more peach forward fragrance recommendations, please help me out!! 9.2/10
I got a sample of this when shopping at Neiman Marcus and decided to give it a wear. This is a very light and refreshing fragrance. It reminds me of peach iced tea. The peachiness isn't thick or imposing, it is the first thing you smell, but it is not cloying. I was concerned that this would be too feminine and it does lean that way, but I found it to be something that I can wear as a man. Perfect for spring and summer! In my opinion, this works great on the cooler or high heat days.
such a strong and captivating scent for me. usually peach perfumes are more on a juicy, fresh, fruity side but this one def gives maturity the opening is spicy, it's truly powerful in a way of the strength of the scent (might get headache lol) there's a distinct leathery undertone and not everyone might like it, so it's not a blind buy
A lot of leather and fresh juicy peach.Lovely for daily wear.
Beautiful string peach . I wish leather & woods could be stronger to make it less flat . Dries van notten’s fleur du mal is way prettier .
I tried this one and was amazed of how it reminded me of Tresor le parfum. No leather, nothing harsh but somehow very strong almost to give you a headache. Good stuff, anyway, like Tresor without bitter notes.
Class and sophistication is not always the loudest. This is quite luxury interpretation of a peach. It’s nuanced. Peach, flowers, white leather. Grown up peach. It’s not for everybody and it shouldn’t be.
Ahhh, jadoreeeee! The cleanest, safest, and most elegant interpretation of peach. It also has a slight bubble gum feeling—like a soft skin scent that’s hard to describe. It’s definitely not very long-lasting, but the vibe is both sexy and elegant, like a passionate woman. And plus u can costume bottle 💟
One of my favorite Guerlains—top three, for sure. Despite the uneducated content creators and reviewers, this has the house of Guerlain DNA all over it. Many mistakenly believe the Guerlain signature is strictly about vanilla, but the true DNA lies in their "refinement" and the ability to blend notes with peerless craftsmanship, like with Rose and Cherry and Jasmine. With Pêche Mirage, they’ve applied that mastery to a peach accord. The opening smells exactly like freshly pressed peach juice—it's incredible. As it develops, the Guerlain heritage really shines; the dry down reminds me significantly of Cuir Beluga. While the scent profiles differ, they both settle into a powdery, musky "bubble." Where Cuir Beluga uses suede, Pêche Mirage utilizes a soft, refined leather. When I wear it, I picture myself in an expensive brown leather jacket at a peach orchard on a crisp fall day (when peaches are out of season, yes). It’s an elegant, sophisticated scent. It seems some expected a juvenile, sugary peach, but Guerlain has instead delivered something for a more developed, discerning palate.
Initially I liked this but the more I wore it the more I disliked it. I find the peach a bit artificial. I much prefer Miyako by Auphorie for the peach/leather combo.
This reminds me of the 1990’s Victoria’s Secre, Peach Hyacinth body lotion. I wore it often when I was in High School and can’t unsmell it.
ANOTHER fruit-centered perfume that smell like BO Covered with deodorant to me :/
This one has the same unmistakable Guerlain vibe to it not really unisex despite the smooth leather base lasts a couple hours it's subtle and sweet like most of Guerlain
Slightly juicy, natural, bright, clean peach floats above soft, soft musky leather. Feminine. Effervescent. Soft. Elegant. The peach is not sugary like a Victoria Secret Body Spray, the leather isn't rubbery like a tire - you might not notice it's peach and leather at all. A perfect every day scent but this will get you a lot of compliments in the evening too - it doesn't scream for attention. One of my most complimented and most asked for perfumes. Nobody expects to like something so light and clean this much, but they're simply enthralled. It's not a skin scent, but you also don't smell like you put on a gourmand for the club. Narciso Rodriguez - For Her Intense (the red bottle) has a similarity in vibe to this fragrance, if you're looking for a budget friendly option.
On paper the smell of peaches is lovely but there did not seem much more complexity to it. It is not overly sweet or gourmand. Definitely a feminine fragrance, I could not imagine when or where I would wear this as a man.
I really wanted to love this perfume. I have been looking for a peach, apricot, osmanthus perfume for awhile and I love Guerlain so this seemed like the prefect match. I even have osmanthus bushes/trees planted outside of my house because I love the smell so much and I drink gallons of peach tea! I tested Peche Mirage in the Guerlain store and brought a tester home with me. I have tried it several times on my skin. I do like the fresh peach smell when I first spray it and then it settles into this awful sour and gasoline smell on my skin. I don't know if it is the combo of the peach and leather smell but it literally smells like I was working out in the garage on a car that was leaking gas and got some of it on my hands. I cannot "unsmell" that smell and it is so sad! I love how this sounds, I love what it should be but it is just not that on me! And as someone said, the name is correct. Occasionally there is a slight "mirage" of peach.
This is a great peach fragrance it’s a masterpiece it’s really fresh and sweet but with that leather note it adds so much depth I’m really loving this the projection and longevity is terrible though which makes this perfume horrible but the scent on this is gorgeous
