hate the lavender in this but once it dries down its a pretty realistic used coffee in a coffee filter scent. i enjoy it

I could agree with the general statement of this fragrance, as it is nice, but nothing too special. Mass appealing leather and frizzy opening, with a side of boozy sweet coffee added in, I personally love it, and so do other people. (my first fragrance too)

Nice for going out to clubs.

Spices, cinnamon and coffee perfume. Not a veey unique perfume but okayish especially at this price. Good fall fragrance tho

Not sure if it is me or the juice but something has changed. I've had this bottle for 3years. It newer was my favourite, but today, it is not the same anymore. It burns my skin and there is no recognizable notes anymore. Is this "normal"?

I only have 1 issue with this perfume. You know that cheap bergamot/citrus note they use in arabic dupe perfumes? you can smell it here too. especially in the initial blast. the cinnamon is a bit too toned down too. If i were to describe the hlighlights of this scent it would be bergamot, citrus and coffee. The scent itself is pretty strong but the sillage is on the weaker side. which isnt that bad given the low pricepoint allowing you to overspray. Overall , if you find this for a good price i would recommend it as a blindbuy if you especially like coffee and dont mind a slightly bad opening

If they removed the coffee note, it would be amazing. All I, and people around me smell is old coffee filters that have been in a trash can with it's lid closed for several days.

Smells very good and warm fresh in the opening. It dries down to an almost stale coffee scent. It's good though.

This is a quite sweet and warm fragrance, I like it, but I feel this is a up to 35 year old scent maybe a bit less. A nice casual winter scent. 7.8/10

It isn't a 'coffee' note. It is a 'bad after-coffee breath' note. It is disgusting. Without that note, it would be fine.

It's disappointing. I wanted a more refined freshly ground coffee scent from this, but too many brands are afraid to give you that without padding it out with vanilla sweetness. It smells like a starbucks drink that has like 300mg of sugar.

Halloween Man X feels like a very strange name for this fragrance, nothing about its scent make me think Halloween, the notes make me think of fall but not of Halloween. Onto the actual scent! On the opening there is a lovely Irish Coffee note that is entirely new to me but I adore. As Halloween Man X dries down the whiskey note unfortunately fades out entirely, it is however replaced by very pleasant but light spicy notes. The entire fragrance has a very realistic coffee/latte smell. There is a slightly milky note that backs the fragrance the entire time that is a lovely final addition. It smells like you spilled a spiced latte on youself in the best way. On the longevity side of things, Halloween Man X doesn’t last very long. I got about 3 hours on my skin and maybe 2 on my clothing. A 3/10 here. Projection unfortunately was just a tiny bit better then longevity. It just never rose much off my skin, at the height of its projection maybe 3 inches from my skin. A 4/10 here. Halloween Man X is a really realistic coffee/latte fragrance without being overly sweet. Along with holding a very nice milky note consistently throughout the fragrances life. Besides the performance issues, my biggest disappointment of the fragrance that might also be a good thing is the quick fading and disappearance of the whiskey note. While I really enjoyed the opening when the whiskey note is present, I can also easily appreciate the lack of it since it makes the fragrance much more wearable. Halloween Man X is a 5/10 for me, it would be at least a couple points higher if it performance was better.

I really wanted to like this one, I got it when I first started collecting years ago , I remember it being hyped on YouTube, think of Eros EDT + coffee it’s smells pleasant I just never wear it , I’ve worn it a total of 4/5 times. Just not for me

Hands down the best coffee fragrance for men. It's a 10/10. It last quite a lot and projection is good too. But the coffee in this is just amazing, makes this fragrance stand out. Compliment magnet too, everybody likes this.

As a lady in my office said today: "Like Le Male Elixir, but without the gау". Haven't thought of that until now, but damn, that's prett spot on. Le Male Elixir is heavily influenced by this one, but is really way too estrogen-y for me. This one is deeper, manlier, has a light boozy note, and it's a classic for a reason. Scooped a bottle for about €18 (tester) for 125 ml and can't believe my luck, as that's pretty damn cheap for such a fragrance. It's NOT synthetic like the whiners here love to repeat without even smelling it, it's very warm and inviting, it projects like crazy, and it smells expensive. Absoulte gem, safe blind buy, except if you're someone who has been spraying og ADG for the past 20 years and loves smelling like an uncle.

When I first sprayed this, it was rough. Strong cardamom with spiciness. It was cloying and harsh. I sprayed it 25 times and let it mature for a few weeks. When I came back to it, the scents everyone was talking about were there. The strength and potential cloying with the strong notes make it a cold weather scent. But it’s smooth, rich, and catches your nose with a marriage of pleasant scents. I have a hard time recognizing the coffee, but my teen daughter identified it immediately. Overall, I’m impressed despite my initial reservations.

Huele muy rico es un perfume de gran calidad es un olor a café tostado, como si entrarás a una cafetería y esta ese olor cremoso a café , lo único malo que la duración es muy baja a mi me dura una 5 horas ya a ras de piel

Another fragrance of mine when I I started searching fragrances on a budget that smell great and before the over seas boom. Jeremy Fragrance spoke highly of this, it was cheaper, I didn’t have the $ for something more expensive so that’s how this landed in my lap. I’m not great at pinpointing scent notes but you do pick up coffee off the rip. This is a stronger fragrance, but a very good one. It’s somewhat boozy and cinnamon stands out. I loved the name too as I love all things Halloween in general. Definitely not a summer vibe, but great for cooler weather. If you’re on a budget it can be a solid option. I am curious about other Halloween Man fragrances.

This smells just like how you'd imagine a strong coffee bean bodywash to smell like. If you like coffee you will certainly like this because that's basically what it is. Mind you this is not a creamy coffee or latte kind of smell this is like pure raw coffee beans. But surprisingly this has gotten me compliments and I kind of like it as well 6.25 out of 10.

Wonderfully cheap Fall/Winter banger! One of my favourite cheapies. Sweet, but not too sweet. Boozy, but not drunk. Just a classy everyday winner in my opinion. Performance is average, but again, for the price it doesn't matter. Spray again! In terms of comparisons, I prefer this over Ferragamo Uomo and Rochas Man. Scent - 9/10 Performance - 5/10

I really love this fragrance. I get the best realistic and robust coffee note I've had before, a really pleasant warm whiskey vibe, a little bit of cinnamon, surprisingly a little bit of chocolate, and also a touch of something cold - this must be the mineral thing. It has a really good opening, it settles down nicely, and it lasts pretty long on my skin. Apart from all of this, the bottle itself, the colour of the decant and the cap is one of the most beautiful fragrance designs I've ever seen. All in all, I'm super appreciative that this is such an affordable fragrance. It really is kind of like a big "F YOU" to all the unreasonably expensive designer fragrances out there. It is a touch synthetic, but this is not an inherently bad thing. Who wears this? What comes to my mind is a playful and humorous, open-minded, intelligent and creative young guy who is fairly masculine, but I think many men can pull this off. It's a masculine scent but so much more than that.

The fragrance has very interesting whiskey smell which makes it more masculine but not too much

This fragrance is pretty nice and fruity in a way. It reminds me of azzaro the most wanted because of the bubblegum type of aroma. Great coffee and sweet scent.

I can see the similarities with Lynx/Axe Dark Temptation that some people have made, but this definitely is in a league of its own, being borderline screechy with the cardamom and lavender on the open but then mellowing down to a boozy dark coffee aroma on the drydown. Dark, leathery and bold. This has been an easy dumb reach for me during the colder months as it's just easy to wear for work and pretty inoffensive (despite that opening which can be a bit much if over-sprayed). It's pretty damn good value as well, being roughly £30 for 125ml of a decently performing juice. The bottle feels decent quality too and the atomizer is ok!

A bright, mature opening, with a present lavender and sweetness. It then settles down to an alluring warm scent, akin to a cabin in the woods, with roasted coffee and leather. Performance on my skin is not as good as it used to, I get around 4h of performance. This fragrance was my signature for many years, right now on my second bottle. However it does not perform as it used to (although my last bottle was several years old and matured greatly). Still, a wonderful and unique designer at most than reasonable price, strongly recommended.

The coffe note is too strong and smells like ita overly rosted.....its forgetable scent.....would not buy again

Es un perfume bastante agradable, de salida es un aroma cautivador y exisito, con un fuerte aroma a café y algo dulce, pero con un aroma juvenil y fresco, perfecto para quien busca destacar en ocasiones informales, e incluso, según el gusto de cada uno, en ocasiones formales. Es algo muy dulce y algo empalagoso, pero está muy bien hecho. Detecto un sutil toque de whisky, lavanda y limón. En cuanto al aroma, es muy bueno, especialmente para invierno u otoño. Como estudiante, lo encuentro bien hecho y bastante perceptible. El problema es que, en mi opinión, no dura mucho y pierde su fragancia gradualmente. Lo he usado muchas veces y he recibido bastantes cumplidos a las pocas horas de usarlo, pero solo dura unas 2 o 3 horas en cualquier clima. En verano, se intensifica mucho más y puede resultar abrumador, pero por lo demás, es un perfume muy bueno si quieres llamar la atencion, para un aura con un aroma dulce por las notas de cinamon pero al mismo tiempo seria por las notas de cafe y whiskey, aunque no dura mucho, sobre todo porque paso casi todo el día caminando al aire libre. 7/10

Fragrance Journal Entry #39 This is a great entry level coffee scent, it's a little clean fresh spicy with a slightly synthetic coffee note. Very linear but enjoyable, i decided to give it away after getting Amore Cafe which is a much more photo-realistic coffee scent. The performance isn't great but rocking this indoors on a cold day was always enjoyable, highly recommend for someone looking for their first coffee scent. As a side note this does not smell like any of the "smells similar to" section, this does it's own thing. Rating: 7.6/10 Blind Buy Safe? YES
