H24

Incredibly clean yet intoxicating scent. I do get the fruity banana note too but it settles very nicely into the green after a while. Beyond that it's a kind of tension between something minimal and refined and masculine and something really wild and green and abundant. I find this one very context dependent - the hotter the climate, the more it excels. When I go to the Caribbean I wear this every day... it seems to just click in a more tropical climate, but that doesn't mean I won't wear it in summer in London either.

Damn, I love this! Smells so clean, like a very high end hotel that's full of fragrant, green plants, and a diffuser blowing clouds of steam throughout the lobby. I definitely get the "ironed/steamed shirt" idea they tried to convey. The longevity is surprisingly really good! I sprayed it on last night after the shower and went out for a bit, woke up the next morning and I still smell it when I move around. Good projection, filled up the room with a few sprays without being overpowering or cloying. Very aromatic. I don't have anything else like this in my collection. I have been looking for a fresh, clean, somewhat more mature fragrance that isn't so commonly worn, I think I've found it in H24. I like it so much I may end up blind buying the flankers lol. 9/10 for me

The Initial scent is like green grapes. The green grapes scent fades quickly, leaving a refreshing floral scent.

Opening is an almost peppery/fruity floral, with strength of the notes ascending in that order. Very floral, not an especially 'masculine' opening, even if it still feels somewhat anchored to a masculine scent profile. It becomes a bit less like a bouquet as it dries down, more of a soft floral even though those notes still dominate. The woods start to come out more and more, and it takes on an almost marine/wet accord. Very clean. The further I get from the opening, the more I like it--But it never gets past a simple "like". Not a buy for me.

The opening is so good. Green bananas and bug spray. Really reminds me of summer and being outside. Unfortunately, it drys down into a boring clary sage after about an hour.

Hermes is notable in its creation of challenging fragrances at designer prices. I am a big fan of Equipage, both Bel Ami's, a few TDH's, so when I saw this, I blind bought it. I really like green scents, but this one smells more synthetic than anything they have done before. The metallic "freshly ironed starched shirts" comments are right on - a little bitter, a bit sharp. Then there is the Sclarene, which gives a minty sensation without mint. H24 feels like Hermes gave their perfumer Sclarene and said "make something interesting with this." In this they succeeded, but it seems less like a fragrance than an intellectual exercise. It smells like someone's version of what a gardener's clothing smells like after a day of trimming ivy and cutting grass, with a metallic overlay and some coolness that doesn't really sync with the vegetal notes. I will keep my 10ml decant, but my unopened bottle will go into the swap drawer. I don't get banana, certainly not aquatics, and very little citrus. And I understand the comparison to the dry vegetal aspects of Beach Hut man.

Very aromatic smells good and lasts decently long

Like, it literally last ALL day. Can come off as feminine. However its so unique, that green banana note. Its good for layering with aquatic scents. It is fresh. I have to be in the mood for it, spring or summer, and willing to smell it all day, and only one spray.

After an intriguing opening, it dries down to smell like soap, and not in a pleasing way.

H24 is starting to grow on me; while I wouldn't say I love it yet, I find that I like it a little more each time I wear it. The sharpness initially takes some getting used to.

It smells good but the problem is so does the gas station rest room liquid soap too, sometimes, and this smells like that.

I'm not saying this smells like Beach Hut Man, but it has a similarly loud, sharp, and dry green profile. And you can get this for around $50 so value-wise it's pretty good!

This is what the inside of a Bond villain lair smells like. Metallic, floral, diamond-clean, like cold raindrops falling on fern undergrowth in some subpolar rainforest. An eco-brutalist getaway hides among the trees. Perfect for my part of the globe, where my winters aren't white and snowy but grey and wet. This gets a lot of unnecessary hate, likely due to the colossal shadow left by TdH. When people fling around the term "generic", what they mean to say is it doesn't last 16+ hours on their skin and set off a Geiger counter. H24 is a great "neo fougere", redefining the "old school" aftershaves for a younger, contemporary consumer. There are in fact some of us who don't always want to smell like pineapple oud ambergris bubblegum melt-your-face-off elixirTM.

I've done this poor scent an injustice, I really didn't appreciate it... time for a re-review! Aquatic, fresh, aromatic and a wonderful floral... I'd dismissed it as just an aftershave, but no! Even though it has a slight barbershop vibe because of the sage, compositionally it's a true floral-aromatic. Quite refined, and for someone obsessed with the ironed shirt concept like me, this one is once again tailor-made for that vibe. A pristine, unique beauty. This is an interesting and underrated designer that can be found online far cheaper than the likes of your typical YSL mainstream fragrances. It is light wearing but you still get a solid 5-7 hours and you just smell clean without going full blown shower gel. I can’t really compare this to anything else, but it could be considered in the same realm as Prada lhomme in terms of overall vibe as it is the perfect professional scent. Definitely shines in high heat and can be dressed up but it’s just a really good versatile piece for when you wish to smell clean. I personally don’t get the banana smell but I do get the metallic I fresh iron laundry like scent. This one smells nice in the air. A great modern green fragrance thst really is trying to do something different. Definitely sample before buying!

I sampled each of the three H24 releases at the airport and the original EDT was the lighter and fresher pick. I finally got a bottle and it's more interesting than I thought. It's fresh and light but with a tamed masculine edge that feels like a nod to old school fragrances like Aramis but there is also a subtle yellow floral note that flirts with the scent profile but never becomes cloying, it sits near the edge, coming and going. I wanted to wear H24 a few more times before I wrote a review because I wanted to be sure I genuinely liked it and I absolutely do. It's not as simple of a fragrance as I initially thought but it's not complicated either. It is very interesting, maybe not for everyone, but definitely worth a sample. Edit: This fragrance makes me feel like a man. There is something about this scent that strikes a chord. I don't know if it's universal feeling or just me? H24 is what a man wears. An authority figure, protector, problem solver. H24 doesn't do this by being over the top masculine, it does it with understated class. I really like this fragrance!

I originally was looking for the H24 Herbes after smelling it at a department store, but then I got the EDT (I love blind buying perfumes) instead online at a great price under discounts. Gotta say this is for sure not for everyone. Surprising performance and medium-to-good silage for a EDT (5-6hrs @6 sprays around neck, warm to hot weather from 24C to 28C). It opens with a metallic and close to photorealistic green grass scents that is certainly not for everyone. But personally I love green scents so this is exactly what I'm looking for. Then it slowly transitions to a yellow floral scent after 1 ~ 1.5hr, smells a bit like Jasmine in the mid and base. If you prefer a very grassy green scent, get the EDT. If you prefer more Jasmine, get the Herbes. This is a great value perfume tho with exceptionally well performance considering its just an EDT, perfect for warm to hotter days.

I don't know why, i smell grass all the way, all day long... Not bad for few hours, but all day grass smell is a bit too much for me

This one has grown on me quite a bit. Sweet florals that give a fruity, banana-like scent, but the real star is the sclarene. Apparently, the perfumer was inspired to make this after visiting a dry cleaner, as the fragrance has a unique metallic and steamy aspect. Like a hot iron on clothing. Despite this, it is very much an inoffensive fresh scent. For an EdT the longevity is excellent. I catch whiffs of it all day long. Highly recommended if you're looking for something fresh, unique, and light enough for casual wearing.

Completely unisex and as a woman I have been wearing it nonstop for 2 month now. Perfect as an white-shirt-office scent but also as a summer in the city freshie. Both sillage and longevity are really good for EdT. I do not like EdP at all but this one is a gem!

H24 is an almost linear fragrance. From the very first spray, it projects a strong floral-herbal character with a noticeable sweetness running through the composition. The narcissus brings the floral aspect, while clary sage gives the scent its aromatic herbal edge. On closer inspection, a metallic sheen gradually emerges from the woody structure underneath. It is not the watery metallic effect often associated with calone-based compositions; to my nose, it feels more connected to rosemary and aromatic woods. As the floral aspect slowly fades, the woody framework becomes clearer, revealing a strong presence of ISO-E Super blended with metallic nuances and a sweetness that remains noticeable without becoming cloying. In some ways, the underlying structure also reminds me of a less soapy version of Acqua Essenziale Colonia by Ferragamo, albeit saturated with far more ISO-E Super, which gives the composition a subtle kinship with Terre d’Hermès. Overall, the fragrance leans unisex, though slightly masculine in character. There is also something quietly innovative about it. In terms of taste and sweetness treatment, it feels quite close to Hermès’ Jardin series, despite being marketed differently. Rating: 6.5/10

I get the unripped banana smell people talk about. The synthetic notes are way too sharp and off putting.

I'll admit, the first time I sampled this I was put off because I wasn't use to the scent profile. It's really unique and hard to describe. Yes there's a "banana" note mixed with what seems like greens. But as I spent more time with it I've come to enjoy it. It's quite shocking the difference the first impression vs how I feel about it now. It's more of a scent bubble rather than strong projector and I think that suits the profile. I also tried the vives version which is also good (and I might like slightly better), although double the price. This profile has really grown on me. Im off to try the EDP version and decided which of the three I will get.

H24 I find to be really interesting, it has a modern minimalist quality to it while also tapping in to some classic green fougere vibes. The opening is bright, brisk, and uplifting. The absence of any citrus throws it right in to green aromatics. And within seconds the narcissus starts to shine. Others have said it gives off a banana vibe, I completely agree. But if you’ve ever walked past a garden with blooming florals in the early morning or late evening when it’s cool and that scent just hangs in the air, that’s in H24 for me. The dry down is woody and slightly floral still and very pleasant all the way through. One of my best purchases in years, fantastic stuff.
