Boss Orange

I have a decant of this and have worn it twice now. It projects for approximately 3-4 hours with a reasonable sillage. By the 7 hour mark, I could still faintly smell it on my wrists but noticed when I subconsciously rubbed my neck, I would get a nice whiff of the fragrance. This fragrance is relatively cheap to purchase so doesn't matter if you have to touch it up a few hours later. Boss Orange is a creamy orange scent. The vanilla in this gives it a sweet ice cream-like scent which makes it almost lean into gourmand territory. It reminds me of the type of ice-cream you buy on a stick which is coated with a frozen mango (or other fruit) shell on the outside. I believe Boss Orange contains bergamot as a top note, and along with the African Orange Flower, gives it a really nice, ripe juicy orange scent. The vanilla definitely sweetens it but it is so wearable in any weather as it never gets cloying. I wore it yesterday on a mild winter's day in New Zealand and it was fabulous! It would definitely be a mood booster during dreary, cold weather and an all around "feel good" fragrance in any weather. This would make you feel comforted in winter while you snuggle up with a blanky on the couch, chilling out and watching movies, or getting your goove on at a Tiki Bar on a tropical island somewhere. And let's face it, who cares where! As long as there is a decent band playing, the cocktails are flowing and the soft, powdery sand is flicking up from under everyone's feet as they dance the night away, then just like Lionel Richie sang, the revelling could last 🎵All Night Long🎵

I used to think this fragrance was meh at best but after letting it macerate I sprayed it on and I kind of love this. It smells to me like an overripe apple that you took a bite out of and let it turn into that brownish colour only to take a bite out of it again and getting this juicy, stale apple flavour. This is more of a fall fragrance for me, it gives off this cozy, warm, sweet scent that I could only pull off on a rainy fall day.

In New Zealand this fragrance is very expensive $80-$180, depending on where you get it from, as are all decent fragrances over here! Making this a "use carefully" fragrance, so I don't run out. It is a lovely creamy, orange and vanilla creation that just makes you happy. It reminds me of a "Fanta Spider" (Fizzy Orange Soda with Vanilla Ice Cream) mmm🥰Yummy, but not over sweet with the base notes grounding it. My only annoyance with this gorgeous fragrance is how many sprays I need, I need to use. 5-6 sprays and then layer it again with 5-6 more sprays to get the full aroma, and make it last. So due to this issue, and the price in NZ, I just can't wear it that often. But when I do I really enjoy the playful notes, with that hint of sophistication and depth. It has deep, spicy undertone notes that I love, with the frothy yummy creamy orange scent that remains even after the dry down. Definitely one of my faves 😍

I sprayed it on paper and my skin to see how it performs. Somehow I can still smell it clearly on paper but there's nothing left of it on my wrist. Literally no trace of this fragrance. Performance is pretty terrible in my case. Good fragrance for people who appreciate elegant, fresh office perfumes. I could smell a hint of orange blossom on initial spray but it later disappears (doesn't make the scent worse by any means but don't expect it to be a proper gourmand fragrance). Good thing it's affordable and like it states in the PROS section "Doesn't turn syrupy or cloying" is very true in my experience.

In theory I would love this perfume. Because I've always liked Hugo Boss perfumes and I love citrus/fruity scents. But I tried it on and it was awful 😞 Way too strong too.

Boss always makes a really good women fragrances such as femme {which is my second fav scent in my life} Anyways i blind bought boss orange bcus auntie asmaa said orange was her wedding fragrance and i was hella curious Sooo this scent instantly dropped me in 2012… she smells like 2010 era so badd Clean fresh apple bright orange blossom sheer sandalwood but when the vanilla came it turned to an absolute mess… i was so disappointed i wish if they replaced the vanilla with white musk instead it will smell amazing But the vanilla is the same type of dry vanilla used in lalique le parfum or byzance rochas that same dry powdery note sweet vanilla

Such a boring scent. It’s not offensive or anything but it doesn’t excite me at all and smells like a cheap perfume you’d get at Hollister or something. It’s just kind of there. safe, flat, nothing special. I don’t have the heart to throw it out since it was a gift but I also never actually wear it.

I desperately wanted to secure a noughties scent that would remind me of my childhood and decided on Boss Orange since I vividly remember the commercial starring Sienna. This is definitely not what I remember. The red apple is the first chord, but then it transforms into kind of vanilla and the flower I cannot detect. It reminds me of my first Yves Rocher children perfume Pomme de Reinette. Next time I'll just repurchase CK One if I ever miss noughties or 90s.

It's ok not groundbreaking or anything unique. I smell mostly a soft sweet powdery scent with some spice in it. Silage is soft it's there but only once in a while you get a wave of the fragrance. Longtivity and projection is average in comparison with the perfume of the late 20 a 25 years. The dupe for this of the super market the Lidle is way better and stronger than the original that is for sure. But i will finish my bottle but not purchase again.

A nice light sweet orange scent! Good for everyday wear, drying down to sweet peachy like skin scent, most probably the combination of fruit and vanilla; I like this, easy and inoffensive...

There's definitely orange when you let it settle but there's also a very clean smell to it which might not appeal to a young person

idk i don't like this, it's very powdery, kind of smells like fruity hard candy but covered in a copious amount of powdered sugar but it's also quite floral

To me, this perfume is the perfect scent for autumn and a perfect scent for the office. It doesn't violently grab your attention but subtly turns your head. It's pleasant and likeable.

Disappointed with this one, I love citrusy scents with orange blossom notes but this smelled very 'nothing special' and more like a room spray. Didn't suit my skin chemistry at all. It smelled like a cheap fragrance with minimal longevity.

It's a dated smell to me. Not bad but not "me."

The first time that I tried this, it was not a success. During a humid summer day it just became a bit cloying and "thick" smelling and I wanted something fresher and less sweet. Now, as we get to colder autumn days, it is very nice. I would describe it as a "warm" fruity floral. Nothing about this is tart, fresh, or juicy. It's all quite soft with some sweetness, some florals, and some warm, musky vanilla base. It has some faint resemblance to Chanel Chance, but without the patchouli and citrus it's only the warm floral muskiness without any sharpness or tanginess. It might be a little bit generic, but I cannot think of a perfume that smells like this because it is softer and warmer than most designer releases, and not as sweet or sharp. I will keep wearing this on casual and working days throughout the colder months. It's a happy, sunny scent.

I love the bottle and the box. Not so sure about the juice....

I had smelled this perfume from my mother collection, This fragrance is vanilla mixed with orange and white flowers with a hint of green powdery notes in the background. nice sweety fragrance I think it similar to lotions scent or mists, very suitable to sensitive nose people. there is a note here very similar to "Qaed Al Fursan Unlimited Lattafa", but "Qaed Al Fursan Unlimited Lattafa" is more mature fresh deepy creamy powdery and gourmand fragrance with coconut, yellow flowers, Pineapple ingrediants, surley "Qaed Al Fursan Unlimited Lattafa" isn't a dupe. I think if you prefer types of fragrances like "CK One Shock For Her Calvin Klein" you will like this perfume. This fragrance suitable to wear it during the day, in all seasons. Smells like juicy organic orange dusted with powdery sugar - mixed up in a delicate soft way. You feel young and fresh like moving out of a shower. As the bottle and beautiful Sienna Miller suggets it’s uplifting, gently and youthful. Starts orangey fruity but becomes more white floral over the time. Lasting power could be better and it’s very close on the skin. But it‘s just so good!! Buy a bigger bottle - it’s available for a very good price.

Są bardzo słodkie i kojarzą mi się z latem. Świetnie pachną właśnie latem na rozgrzanej skórze. Jest to bardziej intymny zapach, będziesz go czuć przy skórze. Taki zapach na codzień :)

A bit sharp for the first minute but after that soooo nice… delicate fruity vanilla. Sweet, like a gourmand light. So far I’ve only used it in fall and winter, I think it works well with cold temperatures and it will definitely be my Christmas fragrance this year.

Someone gave it to me as a gift when I was a teenager. Back then I didn't know much about perfumes. I just like the smell and better than my deodorant. An upgrade for my deodorant but I recently found out that this is for women and definitely if I have to say so myself. I wore it a lot because this is the only perfume I had when I was a 17 years old.

I don't know... I love me some apple perfumes -- Hermes Un Jardin sur le Toit, Swiss Arabian Valencia, and Donna Karan Be Delicious -- but Boss Orange does not work for me. I think it's something about the way apple and African orange blossoms play together; it comes off as extremely sweet and cloying and what I like about apples is how fresh, green, and almost mineral-ly, they smell (even red ones). So Boss Orange is a pass for me.

I've been using this since I was 18een and I'm now 30. I've bought probably 3-4 bottles until now. It's best for the spring and summer. It's juicy, fruity, lovely. Safe buy. I don't think anyone can dislike it.

I’ve had Boss Orange for more than ten years and I rarely reach for it. Today was unexpectedly hot so I thought I’d give it a shot but then I remembered why it was never a favorite. It starts sharp and synthetic, I thought no problem most modern perfumes do, but then it was so abstract, you feel it has some mishmash of fruits and flowers but you cannot pinpoint one, it was so lacking in character, and performance, more like a timid intern on the first day at work who wants to blend in, more so than the confident “boss” who stands out. But again I find that most HB products are office safe rather than unique; they rarely impress. The dry down is better, a bit creamy and woodsy vanilla but again nothing groundbreaking.

I am really surprised this perfume seems unpopular with a lot of people, I find it lovely and I can't imagine anyone finding it offensive but perhaps there are notes that smell very different depending on your scent receptor genetics! I absolutely love it, it's soft and yet fresh, ever so creamy and smooth. The dry down is beautiful and creamy soft. Sweet, vanilla, orange blossom and lightly floral. Reasonably priced, ok longevity but projection is low. I got this when it first released in 2009 as I was about 17/18 and it was my signature scent for a few years, so I find it very nostalgic to that time in my life when I was young and carefree, and quite naive! It suits that image in my mind well. It suited that time well to wear at school and then at university during seminars and lectures when I wanted to smell clean, feminine and fresh but not overpower those in close proximity to me! I've been wearing it again recently and I had forgotten how much I love it, it's such a lovely spring fragrance. I love wearing it with my spring wardrobe, filling me with hope for the warmer weather and approaching summer.

dontno alot of the Boss range (please do message me with recomendations if you are) The only perfume by boss i have and know well is Boss Ma vie which i really love tho sadly doesnt last long on me. But i just tried this one today and so delicious i love it. Was a random buy and im super glad to have now in my collection. Doesnt smell totally orange btw so i do think a rename would have been cool. Love the bottle tho. very styleey haha

Definately shares the warm wool freshly washed not which that birbwrrybscent has.. I must have tried this scent over the years umpteen times.. Never liked it reeeally, smells spoiled, and synthetic. Apple? Please. I could go along with the orangey liqure ... it makes me recoil when initially Sprayed, I have to live with this one for a good half hour to hour on my skin.. then it's not too bad.. Now it's: warming, rounded, has that clean wool smell, and a faint and gentle orange oil (no leaves or pith) lequer.. Not boozy so much, the whole thing is gentle ish. This is not a freshie, not a clean type scent as the name might imply, I've had the sunset boss too at one point. Decent longevity though

I love orange in parfumes and here it´s like being in a garden with only orange trees. I sit here in the evening and the wind let the smell of orange come softly around me. Lovely.
