It has the same DNA as boss number 1. All man.

Amen! Hallelujah! 07/12/24 11:42 I love this shit! Absolutely amazing! Ever since it appeared in the Sephora shelf I cannot pass by without trying it on! Amen! Hallelujah! 04/27/25 15:49 This is linear, cloying sugary mess. People are singing their praises about some alleged magical dry down. I am happy for you, but for me, sorry, but I can't relate to that at all. And as for fresh red pepper, or any other veggie ingredients, I say anything but! It is a really disruptive element in this concoction for me. Who in their right mind would ever wanna smell like a red bell pepper, ffs? And that's me talking as a vegan, too! LOL! This is an absolute miss for me. Well, that's what I call a change of heart - and honestly, a completely justified one. If you need to get rid of nose hair, this perfume will definitely take care of it.

In my opinion this fragrance can be blind buy safe, it's spicy, the pepper is realistic and feels like the opening is nice, they even throw some javanol (sandalwood) in there for the beast mode performance, but it doesn't justify the price though...

Анонім★★★★★

Beast mode projection and longevity. I would put this in the same category as dior sauvage elixir performance wise. You can spray it to your skin and clothes, after a month or two, you can still get the smell of it.

İnanılmaz iyi bir parfum kesinlikle og elixirden daha iyi iltifat yagmuruna tutulmak istiyor ve gun boyu guzel kokmak istiyorsanız dusunmeden alın Kalıcılık 10/8 Yayılım 10/7 10/8

The scent is amazing, and the performance is excellent.

Анонім★★★★★

My new favourite fragrance. The opening is so spicy and sweet at the same time that you can't help but fall in love with it even if you know it's gonna give you the worst headache ever if it lasts, and the the fragrance is like "don't you worry big boy, I got you" and it turns within 30 minutes into this floral, woody, sexy, refined scent. Only wear this on special occasions, because it is a privilege to smell that stuff.

Анонім★★★★★

I blind bought this off the rave reviews. This is not for the faint of heart. This stuff is headache inducing with just one spray. It is way too strong for my taste. I do like the scent profile. It ended up on eBay where I was easily able to recoup my investment. If you want to stand out, and your nose can handle it, give it a try. Otherwise, test drive it if you can before committing to full purchase.

if you enjoy The Scent then this smells like an elixer should. Very distinguished and unique. And strong. Love this stuff, so true to The Scent DNA. I feel like I'm getting my vitamins with each spray, but you only need 1 or 2 leaving you in a thick dreamy haze.

Анонім★★★★★

A vanilla and floral mix that's gentle and inviting. It also has a weirdly nostalgic affect too. I feel like I'm walking around a mall during Christmas in the early 2000's. Very warm and comforting, I can't wait to wear it this winter.

Анонім★★★★★

I tried a tester I smell Patchouli and vanilla but it isn't included in the notes or main accords? Strange Despite that, I really liked this fragrance Boss is really underrated

Анонім★★★★★

This is different to anything I own and it's a favourite. So addictive and I can't get enough of the opening, I just want to reapply all day.

Анонім★★★★★

The drydown on this is definitely patchouli which is not listed in the notes! It is very long lasting, took a shower and its still overpowering my SOTD, Pacific Rock Moss 😆 So far I have been really impressed with the whole The Scent line from Boss!

Анонім★★★★★

This perfume smells a lot like one sold by Mango (a Spanish designer) for 25€, namely Red Sand. The note pyramid of Red Sand by Mango is: blood orange vanilla, amber vetiver, patchouli, incense Of course the Boss version is slightly different (I think it adds cinnamon) but not so much so I believe that Boss' pyramid is completely wrong. By the way: I love both. To me they smell like a warm wood soaked in juice. Very masculine but a soft and kind masculinity.

Ağır adamlara giden koku

This is magic with the suits, especially for weddings and other happy events

Анонім★★★★★

The Scent Line !! Amazing. This one is even better.

Анонім★★★★★

This sweet and spicy fragrance certainly works best in cold weathers, and accompanies an intimate meal or date night on a soft autumnal evening very well. However, I do find its longevity on the weaker side, and its red pepper notes a bit too overpowering.

Анонім★★★★★

I have a plenty of fragrances ranging from the regular designer fragrances up until the ultra high niche fragrances, and dressed assured guys that this one is very very sexy fragrance. It has great longevity, great performance all around and a very sexy and handsome kind of smell. 🌹🪽 And just to be clear of it, I am talking about the original formulation the one that came out the first in 2024 because I have heard that they may have changed the formulations now.

Performance is great, longevity and sillage are great, but... way to sweet, way to spicy. This is a nuclear bomb and one has to go easy on the trigger. Not for summer or hot spring, better on cold winter, spring or fall days. If one likes sweet, strong, spicy scents, this is right up your alley. Not for me, though.

Анонім★★★★★

This new one smells a bit more spicier and I dont like that. The old one was darker if I remember correctly and that was way more sexier

Анонім★★★★★

I tried this a few months ago and it smelled great back then, but when I bought it today, it becomes much more like plum. If I had known it would smell like this, I probably wouldn’t have bought it. Anyway, the performance is nice, the scent is meh, but for the price it’s not bad. (Love the pepper side)

Анонім★★★★★

This is a simple yet effective perfume. Sweet pepper, lavender, and sandalwood complement each other like siblings. Instead of combining dozens of notes and creating a scent chaos, you put together three harmonious notes like this and this beauty emerges. For example, if it were Boss vanilla, this taste wouldn't come out.

#99 of My Fragrance Journey - Hugo Boss Boss The Scent Elixir: He left the room. The heat stayed. The room was already warm when he walked in. Not loud, not crowded. Just... dense. The kind of air that holds onto things — conversations, glances, intentions half-formed. You notice him without knowing why. Not immediately. But inevitably. That's Boss The Scent Elixir. It doesn't arrive. It occupies. There's no bright citrus handshake, no designer pleasantry. On skin, it doesn't explode — it settles. Rich, controlled, deliberate. The spice hits first, and it's not the usual polished kind. This is sharper. Red-hot pimento with something almost tactile about it — a flicker of heat that feels less like a fragrance and more like a decision someone made before they even walked through the door. Then it breathes. The spice softens into lavandin — but don't think floral. It's deeper than that. Pressed fabric, crisp but warm from being worn. Grounded in a way that belongs to someone who doesn't feel the need to introduce themselves twice. You follow it without meaning to. Not him. The trail. There's something deceptive about how simple the structure seems. Spice, lavender, wood. Almost too clean. But the way it behaves on skin tells a different story — it lingers longer than expected, adjusting its volume without ever disappearing. Eight hours easily. On a coat or a scarf? It's there for the long haul. The dry-down is where the real gravity settles in. Sandalwood — polished, quiet, expensive in the way that doesn't announce itself. Composed. Cultured. The kind of base that makes you realise you've been paying attention for longer than you planned. But here's the thing — there's a tipping point. Underneath the spice and wood, a sweetness swells. In cold air, it's a masterpiece of composure. In heat, or with a heavy hand on application, it starts to feel suffocating. It needs space to breathe. Without it, it stops being magnetic and starts being a lot. This one rewards restraint. It's seductive, but it's not playing. There's a maturity to it — not age exactly, more like lived-in experience. The scent of someone who knows exactly where they're going and isn't in any rush to get there. You don't remember when he left. Just that the scent stayed longer than he did. Hours later, it's still there — quiet, persistent, unresolved. Which makes me wonder — was it ever really about him? Or just the weight he left in the air after he walked away? Vibe: Red spice and warm sandalwood. A room that remembers who was in it. Performance: 8+ hours easily. Longer on fabric. Go easy in the heat. Fit: For someone comfortable taking up space without making a point of it. More scent stories and visuals on Instagram - @lavendercloudsjd

I find this scent profile very similar to Azzaro’s Wanted by Night in the opening. Different texture, same character — that dried orangey designer booze. The difference being that this is more aromatic (geranium? not just lavender), smoother, and fresher. The Azzaro is a bit more fuzzy and ambroxany. I like this Boss a good bit more. I lose that comparison in the drydown, where it approaches the other fragrances in the line. I have smelled Magnetic and Private Accord, and I don’t think this is redundant to either of those, but there is a small bit of that DNA still present. You do pick up on the sweet red pepper and a dusty sandalwood accord once it settles after a few minutes. I don’t actually find the red pepper very spicy, more like an exotic red masculinized fruit powder. Very nice 8.2/10

Анонім★★★★★

the herbalness of the red pepper stays all throughout this, despite it being named only as an opening note I would have preferred something even creamier but otherwise this is amazing, lavender and sandalwood are an absolutely dreamy combo 8/10 smell 8/10 longevity and sillage

Анонім★★★★★

9/10 lavender, wood, slight vanilla. This fragrance isn't complicated but it smells fairly niche. Compared to the original the scent (which I went through a full bottle of), this is incredibly different, don't really understand why stuff like this has to be a flanker.

Анонім★★★★★

One of the greatest scents ever...Performance is fantastic ,Sillage is great...i don't why i like the old bottle better, but either way, this one packs a punch, bit pricey, but worth it... 9.8/10 Intoxicating spices and sweetness, reminds of stronger with you but, IMO, better.

Анонім★★★★★

Even though this flanker strays from the og dna a little (no maninka here), it easily ranks among the very best and most potent fragrances Boss has released these past few years in my opinion. Strong, spicy, sweet but not overly so, The Scent Elixir is a great choice for special occasions. Be careful not to overspray, this fragrance radiates like the sun and lasts a long time. Probably not 100% safe as a blind buy, but why not take the risk ? It's just perfume after all...
