Sugary sweet, light and airy. Nice and inoffensive
This is an amazing fragrance but not for summer. In the heat this dissolves quickly into an airy sweet greenness that goes almost undetectable. However, in mid fall weather this shines like a sweet minty boozy tangerine. I love wearing this in October, in the period before I move into stronger / sweeter boozy fragrances like angel share.
I tried this one on both a tester and on my skin. What a playful scent. It's not licorice-y, but somehow the imagery that comes to mind for me is an absinthe soaked brown sugar cube. As someone who does not prefer gourmands, this is about as sweet as I would want to go in my own personal collection. But even on my skin, this doesn't lean too far for me. The sweet mint is there, but is well balanced by a touch of woodiness. Summer in a bottle. This one's on my list for a potential purchase!
Light and green with a tinge of sweetness. Its almost giving me pine or spruce needles.
Yummy, sweet, fresh mint and citrus fragrance. Pretty good longevity for what it is, especially on clothes.
While this does feel extremely offputtingly artificial - it is good and hits the idea it's aiming for real well. Reminds me of many fragrances I've had - I feel Hilde Soliani, Demeter Fragrance - that kind of vibe. It would make a good candle. But it's not something I'd wear.
i didn’t expect to like a mint scent, but it opens with a fantastic freshness, before settling to a bright green tangerine. very much a skin scent, brings out the natural smell of a person while accentuating with green citrus. effervescent, bright, and bold. fantastic layering scent for summer, reminds me of bicycling.
Short lived but so nice on a hot day this is mainly sugar and mint. I don’t get much citrus or whiskey. The sugary mint is nice though. For the price point, personally I would not buy this one.
Such a bright, open, and fresh scent. Top notes of sugar, less so mint in my experience. I just wish it lasted longer!
I adore it. My favorite mint. For the entire 30 seconds its perceptibility exists inside our universe. :sob:
You might get an hour with this fragrance if you’re lucky. On skin or clothes it doesn’t matter it will fade quick, and if that’s what you’re looking for give this a try. It’s a sweet refreshing summer scent.
in my opinion its one of there best however it lasts like 2hr max
Sweet mint and orange is what I get. It does not last long at all, unfortunately.
Tangerine and mint dominates this scent, it sweet but not overly so. It is fresh but sweet. well made and does not smell synthetic. Easy to wear to essentially anything. Most likely best for spring/summer in the day time.
Great perfume, smells like an attractive man is sweating on a hot summer day. Like liquor and maybe a small amount of sugar. Was disappointed that I couldn't smell any mint. It doesn't last long at all which is also a bummer since it has a higher price point.
this thing has worse performance than an eau fraiche and i aint even chatting shit. it smells fine.
I loved the opening. When I first smelled it I guessed blood orange since it was such a punch of orangey citrus but tangerine makes sense if you amped it up with synthetics like I assume they have. Either way it’s really good. Unfortunately it becomes a skin scent pretty quickly after that. It smells creamy to me on the dry down like subtle vanilla with maybe a cashmere-ish tone with something sweeter. Safe for the office and smells good. Definitely unisex
🍹 Sweet Mint on Ice with a Fast Finish 🧊 A photorealistic, ice-cold drink with a sugared rim that hits you with a blast of powerful refreshment, yet evaporates from your skin faster than you can finish your first glass. The opening is pure madness: frosty, natural mint crushed with juicy tangerine and covered in a thick layer of white sugar. Everything about this scent is bright, airy, and incredibly joyful, while a subtle, boozy cloud of bourbon adds a niche, elegant edge to it. Sadly, this icy projection is an incredibly short show. The fragrance quickly goes quiet, losing its initial dynamic energy and settling very close to the skin. The dry down takes on a clean, airy, and warm character where the herbs and citrus virtually disappear, leaving behind a light, woody blend with a touch of creamy magnolia in the background. After two hours, nothing remains of this madness but an intimate, slightly amber memory lingering close to the skin. A brilliant summer illusion that evaporates right when the party is getting started. Visual archive on TikTok / IG: @the.scent.files
Based on the notes and the story/vibe, I really was so ready to love this one!! The initial spray is a BLAST of Ricola cough drops, with a much more pleasant (albeit very weak) dry down. I wish it had a stronger sillage, and I wish the tangerine note was stronger. I feel like more citrus would help balance out the cough drop scent.
tbh not my fav, and i’m not huge on how it dries. initial spray and scent is like how a mint julep tastes, all sugary sweet and minty and smells slightly boozy. yk what it reminds me of wrigleys double mint gum. while it’s not my fav frag on ME, i do see the appeal to it and its not a bad scent imo. the sugar and mint really dissipate quickly though, and the scent isn’t as bright as it could be. not getting the biggest projection on skin after the first few mins , and when i do get close and smell it, it dries like i got mint julep and orange juice (from the fruit, not the bottle) on my skin and it dried and got a little sticky. mint mum sugar sweet orange a little bit of booze like veeeeeery slight, also it took me 10 mins to smell and write and it’s practically gone. literally just smells like i accidentally got mint julep in my hand, got sticky, and just rinsed it under a hose at the garden party. kinda sad, the first few mins of this was fun!!
This smells so green with just enough sweetness. The only scent I'd describe as "petit". The notes are spot on with nothing left to the imagination, just an overall delightful scent. However...it only lasts like 10 minutes on me. I'd absolutely love a full bottle of this but with how often I'd have to reapply it its just not worth the price.
people that dont like this dont like mint cocktails. its a mint julep, a really well made one too muddled with sugar. the thing is it doesnt smell how the cocktail smells, it smells how the cocktail tastes. mint mellowed out by alcohol to the point its not sharp or screechy. i personally had to give it a second chance but now its one of my faves.
This is a very sweet and fresh fragrance. I mainly get that mint and sweet sugary note with a twinge of something alcoholic and dry in the background. It smells like if you accidentally spilled whiskey and simple syrup into a mojito. Objectively, this scent is nice. I dont tend to gravitate towards sweet green scents, the only exception being quattro pizzi. I like all the individual parts of the fragrance but it doesnt mesh the best for me. I get about 5 hours with mediocre sillage. I love smelling the stuff on my hand, but I personally couldn't wear this 5/10
this shit smells like straight hand sanitizer
I wish I got the mint notes in this that people are complaining about. I really just get simple syrup and a hint of something like bourbon that's cool instead of spicy. It's pleasant, but unremarkable.
This is an uplifting, bright, sweet, and fruity fragrance that is just like that first sip of Mint Julep at the Kentucky Derby. The fresh mint note is light and airy and sits quietly in the dry down. This one is unisex, but more feminine leaning, and is light enough for office or close proximity wear. It's a skin scent and a low performer as far as longevity.
This is weird but lovely, buzzy at the first spray but then becomes more green but sweet, and at the end and echo of mint, very interesting but is not very long lasting, very unisex tho.
A baby carrot type of sweetness and “mint” that was not in the room when this perfume was made
Heavy dose of akigalawood with a mint leaf placed on top. It is sweet and unoffensive, and the mint gives it an interesting herbal twist--but it is not worth owning IMHO. It also leans pretty masculine to my nose, as most akigalawood scents tend to do, but it could still be worn by any gender if you want a sweet woody scent with a light blast of herbs. Sadly I picked up zero citrus or magnolia, which is a shame since I do think this fragrance needed that little bit extra to make in truly interesting.
Smells like V8 and Moschino Toy Boy had a baby on my skin in the opening. The drydown is kind of addicting though. It’s sweet but there’s a bit of Toy Boy’s peppery scent remaining. I think I understand the Baccarat Rouge 540 comparisons, but it’s more similar to the extrait than the edp to me. The opening is the biggest difference. I don’t know if I can stomach the opening to get to the drydown.
